Hyatt House Indianapolis / Downtown: what do users think?
Seok-Jin Kim: Safety: 밤에 술취한 사람들이 시비를 거는데 호텔 이용자도 술취한 취객이 많아 조심해야합니다Rooms: 4/5|Service: 3/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Quiet, Great value …More
S Family: Vandalism by hotel. I parked my car on Sat night (8pm) at one of the parking spots in front of the hotel. I checked to make sure there were no 'valet-only' or 'tow-away' or 'no- parking' signs. I come back after 45 mins to see this sticker on both front windows. If I was illegally parked, the cop parked next to me would have given me a ticket, no? This is bullying and vandalism of personal property. Bottle response to this review (which now seems to have been removed) days I should have 'assumed' it was loading zine and not parked. Assumption is not law. It's too bad because we always prefer to stay at Hyatt when we travel. Next time, I will file police report for vandalism.
Navanjalee P.W.N.: We stayed at this hotel for 5 days in standard guest rooms. The rooms were very clean and spacious, but only negative things was the cleaning service. They had mentioned that they would come to clean every second day of our stay. We put a notice that we did not want cleaning on the second day, but we expected them to clean on the fourth day, and they did not come.Regarding breakfast , it was good with a variety of food such as cereal, coffee, scrambled eggs, tortilla, French toast, pork sausages, etc. However, there was a time when we had to wait for forks and spoons, and some food was missing, such as fruits in the final hour of breakfast. Other than that, it was really good, and we had a pleasant stay at the hotel with very friendly staff.
Jon Kennard: Booked a King Suite was given a King Studio. Lobby was too busy every time I went to question the room.Rooms: Just make sure you get what your paying for
Nicole Blake: I would not recommend Hyatt house to anyone. We checked in and was told that the pool was closed. When we got up to the 5th floor, there were a bag of dirty towels sitting in front of the door. I checked the room and the beds sheets had stains on them and the pillow case had long strains of hair. Since we checked in late and were going to the comedy show I had to wait to get more sheets. The shower HAD no wash cloths. Came back from the comedy show called the front desk to let them know about the pillows and sheets and was told that it would take an hour to get them because the guy at the desk was the only person working, so my husband went to get the sheets and found out there were no clean comforters so the front desk guy said he will call in 20 mins . He called back to let us know that he would be up and apologized that there were no comforters and brought two blankets back. I didn't feel comfortable so we ended up leaving. The hotel is under staffed and I assume that they have no one cleaning anything
Honeyy Thick: I love this place and its at a very convenient location. Everything is in walking distance even a cvs.Rooms: The rooms were very clean.Nearby activities: All the games and concerts are literally across the street.Walkability: Everything is so close. Its an awesome experience.Food & drinks: There is a bar and restaurant inside. They even have breakfast every day!😊
Kimberly Hordan: Rooms: The room is cleanRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Great view …More

Sherry Edwards: Checking in was easy, room was clean. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Good location for restaurants and anything else you would want to do
Rachael Crabb: Well, I absolutely hate to complain about a Hyatt because I have had nothing but great experiences usually..We checked in at 11ish and we got to bed right away because we had a long trip. First thing I'd like to say is, this particular Hyatt doesn't put fitted sheets on their beds!! Is this even a thing? Gross!! To top off the housekeeping pounded on our room door at 3am not only once but 3 times waking up my 5 children. She brought us new sheets.. why? You would think that this place would be more organized and classy especially for paying 40+ dollars for parking. Please do better.Hotel management did comp out room but what a hassle.
G Harris: We only stayed for one night as we went to a Pacers game. The rooms were booked by my sister-in-law who had stayed there before. We had a king suite that faced the street which was nice to look out but the street noise was a little loud during the night. It was a weeknight and rainy so I would imagine it would be louder during the weekend and better weather. Speaking of weather, the rain made a constant dripping sound on either the window sill or the beams below us. Kind of like a metallic machine gun. The room was not dirty but not spotless either, furnishings were a little rough and the "barn door" to the bathroom was hard to open and close. The towels were paper thin. Having to use your room cards to get the elevator going is a nice security touch but can be a pain. The parking garage is tight and dark, we had an issue getting out (the fee was charged to the room) but thankfully one of the valets was behind us and took care of it.The Staff was amazing, the breakfast was okay and the bar food is good. The location is perfect for going to the arena. We will be back for more games and will stay here again, but will probably request a non-street side room.
Johnny Mac: Was happy with my stay. Nice place.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Ethan Caffee: Parked in the garage for a Pacer’s game on 11/21/22. The Valet Captain working that night deserves special recognition for the service he provided and assistance getting patrons in to the garage. Helped save me a ton of time and hassle searching for last minute parking.
Joni Heredia: This hotel is pretty amazing, probably one of the nicest hotels I have been in downtown indianapolis. Very pretty and clean and modern. The room I had was a one bedroom suite it was very large and very clean. The breakfast area is awesome in the morning as well.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More

Skott Mealer: Attended the2023 NRA Convention and stayed here. Great room, the restaurant was excellent and within walking distance to the Convention center. Another bonus was its near severial great restaurants all within a 15 minute walk. Great place!!!Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Katie Schoster: Pros: Clean hotel, walking distance to Lucas Oil Stadium and friendly staff. Hotel is connected to the mall, so easy access to food court and shopping.Cons: Front desk offered to upgrade our hotel room to a room with a view and did not disclose it would be an additional fee. We only realized this when we got our bill. Very disappointed. So beware of upgrade offers.
Troy Davidhizer: Nice place to stay in Indy. Rooms were clean and in good condition.Walkability: Close to restaurants and things to doRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Tiffany Nguyen: I woke up at 12:40am due to grown men screaming and cheering playing ping pong downstairs. The sound of their cheers and clapping bellows above where the rooms are located and you can hear everything. I literally have to wake up in a few hours and I couldn’t go to sleep due to them being so loud. I called front desk to try to get ahold of somebody to make a noise complaint and nobody answered so I went downstairs myself and asked the people to please keep it down because people who have to work tomorrow need to sleep. They disregard my plea and got loud again once I got back to my floor. This is a nice hotel to stay in because the rooms are clean but my bathroom’s tub was clogged and drained really slow and the air conditioner was broken. I won’t be coming back.
Jeanne Buza: Went to a concert right around the corner and they were amazing and no curved walls to walk into when drunk.. but if you're higher then the 2nd wall don't look over the edge! The parking was not included which sucked but worth it!Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Jenni Lynn Weatherhead: Beautiful view of the Capital from our room. Comfortable bed, clean room. Dinner at Eagles Nest was amazing. Spectacular view. WHAT A MEMORABLE EVENING.Food & drinks: Delicious drinks.
Brandon Bally: My room at the Wyatt was beautiful. From the view all the way down to the comfortable feel that the furniture, bed, and even color scheme provided. The only notable concern that I can state is that a few hours after I checked in, a hotel security guard attempted to forcibly enter my room. At the time I was laying down in bed and listening to music so that I could relax. I heard the handle and door lock rattling and naturally went to see what was causing the noise. A few seconds later I heard the voice of a man stating I needed to open the door. I asked who it was and they said they were the hotel security. In response, I asked what their reason for coming to the door was. They said that it was because "I wasn't supposed to be in that room."To be able to show proof that I indeed was supposed to be in the room, I opened the door and immediately showed the security guard and the receptionist with him, my key badge to unlock the door aforementioned.Mind you...this is the same receptionist who at check in gave me the mf key card in the little white hotel slip they always put them in. The ones that clearly have the room number written in bold. I'm not dyslexic (no offense & all love) and I am quite fond of reading. After the guard saw the card with the number clearly written on it, he apologized and told me that there was a mistake. All in all, my stay in Indianapolis was memorable. Sometimes, small things happen that can come as a distraction if you allow them to be. Peace is and forever will be something we have to choose to keep. No matter where we are. Despite what was cited as a mistake on the part of the hotel staff, the hotel is one that I would be open to staying at in the future for any other trips to this city. Just next time, don't question whether I'm supposed to be there or not. I deserved to be.
Linda Wilson: Our bathroom was really tiny!!! Room was nice and clean. The hotel is in a great location.Walkability: Within walking distance to many things down town
Michael McKeown: I was very pleased and cannot say one thing negative about my stay. I would recommend this hotel.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More

Omni Severin Hotel: what do users think?
geremi140: Only reason I didn't all high scores was regarding the restaurant.Breakfast was fine, food very good, no problem. However dinner would have to be ordered in bar, and the bar only had a bar tender , one waitress, one bus boy. The bar was loud not a place to have dinner and small as well ,so we went other restaurants in the area. there was a convention in town think Omni would have open the breakfast area for the three days.
Ed GREEN: This is a wonderful and friendly hotel.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Micu Bob Preh: Well the Omni is definitely A cut above in a historic building. The staff is second to none for courtesy, knowledge and accommodating. The hotel itself was clean and everything was in order. It was extremely close to the convention center with a three or five minute walk. The police presence in the area was amazing.Rooms: I was most impressed with the shower. The bathrooms were very nice, the shower had amazing pressure, the bed and pillows were comfortable. The shower was incredible. The rooms were very clean and the linens fresh. And also the toiletries in shower was very nice.Nearby activities: Convention center, fine dining, and shopping is within only a few minutes walking out the door of the hotel. You have the historic crown hotel across the street which is a historic area. Lucas oil stadium and the indoor fieldhouse is all within quick walking distance.Safety: The metropolitan Police were everywhere. Pretty much a zero tolerance policy for damaging or safety issues. I do maintain my own safety as well as my sig other. There was no problem with the hotel security.Walkability: You can walk out of one side or the other of the hotel and be near a restaurant or a club in minutes. There was four fine dining places within 3 minutes of the hotel. Lower level eating facilities which were awesome and fast seating within 3 to 5 minutes of walking. And the blues club around the corner is the oldest bar in Indiana with the best music.
Lenae Lesiow: Our anniversary staycation at the Omni Severin Hotel was wonderful. The staff was so kind and welcoming. Upon our arrival, they immediately upgraded us to a suite, which was such a nice surprise. They also constantly communicate with you via text to make sure you're enjoying your stay. The room itself was spacious, clean, and comfortable. There are certain aspects that show the age of the hotel, but they didn't negatively impact our experience whatsoever. For those mentioning noise, that's to be expected being in the heart of a city, but the hotel itself was very quiet.A lot of reviews mentioned additional costs like Wi-Fi and parking (you're downtown, so free parking will always be limited), which are true. But as long as you anticipate/plan for what extras you'll want to pay for, it's seamless to sort out.We really enjoyed our stay, and most of that was thanks to the exceptional hospitality from customer service!Walkability: The hotel is located within walking distance of Gainbridge Fieldhouse, Lucas Oil Stadium, and is only a few blocks south of the city center. It was a $6 Uber to Mass Ave, or there are plenty of scooters around.
Yvonne Ballard: We are so happy to spend our 28 year anniversary here, we had an amazing time!! The hospitality and customer service was great all around, they were very accommodating our entire stay! Our room was great and so was the breakfast and dinner! We will be coming back soon!Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Luxury, Great view, Romantic, Quiet, Great value, High-tech …More
Dano Sweetz: This place needs a serious update. It has an historic vibe but its outdated lobby, dated televisions (not smart tvs, terrible menu/interface) in the rooms, wallpaper in bathrooms, which in our first room that was offered was cut up by what looked like a knife in random places was pealing off the wall. They charge a fee for basic wifi is absurd these days. They also charge $53 a night for valley parking! Its more expensive than my rental itself! Also the beds are shot, they droop in the middle, either need to be rotated or replaced. I will not be staying there again. Oh AND, I wish that hotels would stop using feather pillows. A lot of people are allergic to them and they get flat easily.
Kathy Jahn: Loved the hotel and the location. Their service was amazing.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Luxury, Romantic …More
Ron Loving: Bathroom was very small. Service in restaurant was the worst I have ever experienced in a full service restaurant. Valet was very expensive and very slow getting and dropping off car.Rooms: 2/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 3/5 …More
Daniel Ripper: Just what you expected
Lori Arnold: It was a busy weekend with a wedding and a cheer competition. Room a bit small. Couldn't figure out parking so had to use valet parking. Bathroom a bit small. Two closets which was a plus. Very clean. Recieved 2 free drink tickets. Does not offer continental breakfast. Nothing in room about restaurants nearby or places that deliver.Food & drinks: Severin bar was busy and offered 2 free drink tickets. Moscato was delicious. Very friendly bartenders.
Gail p: Great location. Convenient location next to a mall. Very close proximity to arenas. Small pool, but nice. Would like to have some vending or other ways to get snacks after hours.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More

Wyndham Indianapolis West: what do users think?
beth smith: There for a convention
Nichole Luttrell: I went to a event here and love it. The hotel staff was friendly and the place was clean. They have a restaurant inside the hotel and a little store that sells different coffees, drinks and snack. The bathrooms where a little nasty but there was alot of people here for the event. I never stayed in a room but plan on it the next time we go here
Bryce A Elemond CAI,BAS: The room was clean and had a good night sleep. It did take awhile for the elevator as only one was working.Food & drinks: I had a good supper and good service but breakfast in the morning didn't happen. I went in and asked for coffee. I waited patiently for the waitress to come and takey food order. I never got my coffee. There were several tables that complained they were getting the wrong orders and I got up and left.
kay wooden: We deduced to stay here because of the WWE convention and plus was informed of their remodel. A pond check-in it was about 45 mins due to the WWE. We entered our room which was spacious but we had a HUGH crack across the window. We immediately noticed from desk. As we walked around hotel we notice ALOt of flaws within the hotel who just had a remodel. The ice machine was disassembled on 4 th floor, when using the stairs it was difficult to open the door so they had durations on how to open a door. ( very unsafe if there was a fire). There was mold in ice bucket, it took 10 minutes before getting hot water. The restaurant staff seemed exhausted and over worked. The only time thing good was the bed. It was comfy. #456
Jeff Cole: Terrible experience. A/C was not working in my room. (It was defiantly working throughout the rest of the hotel) I went to the front seat each of the 4 nights to request it get fixed or switch rooms etc. Each time I was told they would send maintenance. Maintenance never should up. The coolest my room got was 76degrees. I couldn’t sleep and dreaded taking a morning shower as that would raise the room temperature another couple degrees.
TJ Kelly Jr: Here for an event, food is horrible and way over priced, need much better quality food or much power prices, drinks are priced at double or triple what they would be elsewhere
Michelle Baker: I’m conflicted. Hotel is aesthetically pleasing upon entry. Nice seating area with fireplace. I’ve had a few hiccups the past 2 times staying here. I believe my first room didn’t have a fridge nor a microwave. Todays room has a fridge but the tv is out. So be it. My main concern is the shuttle driver I had today. Yikes!!!!! As I entered the van while a play by play of Jesus’ life was BLASTING on the radio I was soon distracted by his driving. Never made a complete or half stop at a stop sign and drive than van like it had two wheels concerning a turn. I screeched and yelled but I don’t think he heard me over the radio.
Glenn Gibbs: Clean rooms! I stay in alot of hotels for work and this one is clean and the staff take pride in their service!Rooms: 4/5|Location: 4/5 …More

Katie Stern: Had a room that appeared to have not been renovated for a couple of decades. Phone, hairdryer, tv, and toilet all didn’t work properly. Took over 10 hours to get extra linens. One bed had rusted metal pieces sticking out. Learned the hard way when I got my leg and it went through my pant and into my leg. Definitely not worth the money.Rooms: 1/5|Service: 2/5|Location: 3/5 …More

The Alexander: what do users think?
Tristan Rhooms: The hotel was located walking distance to the field house and Lucas oil stadium. The lobby, including the bar and conference room area, were beautiful giving a nicer ambiance to the hotel. Rooms could’ve been maintained a little better. Shower floor seemed to have streaks of cleaning products left behind, tv was a bit outdated for 5 star hotel. The bed and electric blinds were the best part of the room. Additional notes about the stay are that CVS closes too early. If you are staying more than 1 night and okay with a 5 minute walk to get your car, park at the Union Station Garage (You will save $$$).
erica Dillard: The hotel was very nice and let me mention the staff was great from start to finish. My husband and I were only in the city for 3 days but with the service we were provided we will definitely be back for a nice weekend getaway soon. The staff at the Market Table along will make you want to revisit the Alexander in Indianapolis. If you looking for a nice hotel downtown Indy look no more, this is it! The rooms are a little small but next time we will do an upgrade to something a bit larger. Photo ops are all around so take advantage of it. It is a must and I can't wait to return 3Nearby activities: Kilroys and Gainbridge Arena

Ambassador Dr. Angela J Nealy, PhD: I was there assisting Dr. Alicia E. Mckoy with her keynote. I recorded the keynote, took photos and just listened to an awesome program.Alexander has such an eclectic array of one dimensional to three dimensional art. The service and servers were outstanding.I highly recommend this facility. I shall definitely return.Ambassador Dr. Angela J. Nealy, B.S., M.S., Ph.D.
Cherry: This is a very unique hotel that I would recommend to anyone who likes art and out of the ordinary. You can see many everyday items (some obsolete) turned into art. Be sure to check out the Bird Man and the Madame CJ Walker display. Get a close look or you will overlook important details (like the cleaning person missed the red sauce on the white light switchplate in my room). The birds made from old albums are also a must-see, unless you are an album collector. The rooms are pretty and spacious. I slept well on my king-size firm mattress, but it seems that the hotel needs to spend more on them, particularly insulating for sound. One can hear conversations from the room next to them. If that doesn't bother you, then you will probably have no complaints after staying here. The showers are lovely and there were plenty of towels for one person. The pub is poppin' but I didn't try the food. People just seem to be enjoying themselves and there were many folks in there on a Friday night. The hotel also has a cozy patio for outdoor dining or snuggling. I don't think there was enough space for dancing.I would stay again, but l'd bring disinfecting wipes. One word of caution: You will be charged if you remove the full size bottles of shampoo, conditioner, or body wash from your room. This is written on a pricing sheet beside your bed, but you might miss it if you are enchanted with all the breathtaking sites.Thankfully, I read the sign.Go have a great time. This is a stay I will remember fondly for a long time!
NATASCHA FLOYD: This place is amazing! Not just the beauty and ambience of the hotel but the staff is incredibly hospitable and professional, too! We stayed here for my birthday and booked 2 rooms via an internet booking agency but there was an issue showing only 1 room when we arrived. The staff at the Alexander hotel were quick to remedy the situation and I mean QUICK! They booked a 2nd room a the same rate without hesitation. Then there was an issue later with the booking site. They still charged for the 2nd room. Tried to rectify the situation with them but got no where so called the Alexander directly and they took care of the problem right away! Erin and Brady are phenomenal, give them a raise! This was our 2nd stay at The Alexander and we love it every time. We will be back! And we will be booking directly next time! Thanks again, guys! =)
