Circle City Comics: what do users think?
rita milton: Excellent
Nathan Henderson: This is by far the best and the most welcoming comic and games store in the Indianapolis area. They have so much to offer, and treat their customers like family. If you haven’t been in here, it is time that you do. If you are into Comics, games, figures, statues, Anime, or Manga this is the store you should be supporting. They go above and beyond and will more than support you for your business. Genuinely the best people and should get your support.
Robert King: Very friendly staff
Kyle Beaty: Best comic book store in central Indiana. Staff is friendly and helpful. Selection is great and includes some older graded comics in slabs. All around the best you can find you find it here.
John Beck: Always friendly and informative. A very welcoming atmosphere as a beginner to turn comic world its been a terrific experience!
Griff’s Garage: My son is just now getting into comics, so we checked out this store. The employee we worked with helped my son find five different comics he may be interested in that are appropriate for his age. There was a great selection and the prices seemed to be pretty good compared to other places I've seen online. We will definitely be coming here again.
Chris Lamp: Great friendly people and a wide selection of Mangas, anime figures, comics, cards and much more cool stuff
James Roscoe: Very cool spot to hangout, play some games, and shop for comics and collectibles. The staff are knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. I'm not a gamer, but thought the selection of old and new comics and graphic novels was impressive. Something here for kids and parents alike, in a convenient location.
Black 100: Great people helped me with everything I needed. Love the store
Sophia Groeschen: I absolutely love coming here!! Everyone is SO nice and they always have a really great selection of comics! They have great manga choices too! If you love POP figures, come here, anime, dc, and marvel figures, TCG and so much more! They are seriously the best for a cute little local comic/game store! The staff is amazing here, great people and great at what they do! I couldn’t say enough of about CCC!! They even hold Pokemon trading and playing events AND they have great streams on whatnot too! Definitely check them out!
jamie sturges: Very friendly, good select, and great prices.
Zack Laughlin: This place is simply amazing you won’t find a better comic store in Indy. Great customer service in every shape and form of the word. They are very good and finding something for everyone at a reasonable price while not harping on you to buy more. If you love comics or are interested in trying something and looking for recommendations this is the place!
Matt Moore: Great Comic book store with very helpful staff!!
Brian Fairbairn: The two managers here are amazing. I needed some supplies and comics and these guys helped me out in every way possible! You guys are amazing and I appreciate you. Very responsive and attentive. Thank you guys so much! Now I know where to go anytime I need anything especially if I'm in a pinch. Pleasure doing business with you guys! Thanks for the trades!
grant: I worked with Josh (I believe) through what not to put together a bundle of comics I was looking for. His knowledge of comics, artists, and writers was amazing. He ran all over finding all my comics. He knew where things were on the shelves, in the back, in the back issue cabinets all with a positive and welcoming attitude. He shipped them out quickly and everything arrived undamaged and in great shape. I DK if I'll ever be in Indiana, but if I am, I'll be sure to stop in.
Elizabeth Deahl: Clean and organized.
Ryan De Lon: Awesome Shop !!!
Sibeko Jywanza: Great comic shop! Also you can get action figures and Funko Pop figures!
Jesus Saldana: An absolute FANTASTIC shop for comics! A huge variety of current books, including variants and back issues, all at great prices! All books come boarded and bagged and are very well organized and easy to find. Knowledge and friendly staff always willing to help and who are up to date on current titles! A definite go to if your in the area or feel like a 6 hour drive 😁 Thanks circle city!
slitsnipe: I had a good bussiness relationship with this shop and ordering comics. Got hurt at work and stuck in the hospital for a bit from it and didn't pay for some books because of this (as in paying for comics was not the worry at the time, health and recovery was the goal as I was unconscious for multiple days). And the seller blocked me from social media and refused to reopen a line of bussiness. 1 star until seller decides to try and rectify the situation instead of not having a single ounce of understanding.
Jeff Coan: This is a very legit comic book store and collectables shop. I found some fantastic models, toys and every comic I could imagine. They also have a lounge and gaming room.

Downtown Comics: what do users think?
Last: They have manga so not to bad
Step Armah: It pained me to see so many comics in such poor condition. Majority were not even bagged and boarded. I dug through their long boxes but every time I found something, it was damaged. But they're priced like 9.8s. A shame.
Kevin Dolen: Best shop in town!
Steven Wild: Nice comic book store.Had so e games and other stuff as well.Worth the stop
Kopernicus67: Awesome store! I was here for a conference and wanted to bring back some gifts for my kids, especially my two daughters who are into anime. The young woman running the store at the time was friendly and helpful, and took time to help me find just the right manga, given my daughters’ other interests and ages. They have a great selection of comics and a few collectibles to please all ages and genres! Highly recommended.
Kody Robinson: A great first time experience. Lots of Comics and a good selection of funko and statues. Thank you always glad to find Spider-Woman and Red Sonja Comics
Ryan McCall: A great spot to grab some new comics and a great selection of back issues. We'll worth a visit
Peanut: The store is well stocked and great variety. Wonderful selection. Doug was awesome and it was a pleasure to just relax and enjoy everything from comics to memorabilia. Definitely a must to stop in.
frank tomey: Knowledgeable staff
La Salle Rhymes III: Great store with plenty of items to shop for. Everything from magic, the gathering to collections of comic books and a nice supply of back issues. Looking forward to coming back
Anthony Dupree: Had a great experience there. Good supply of comics past and present and for all ages. The staff were kind and wanted to make sure you got what you wanted. Glad to see an awesome store in Indy!
Jason Kimble: Smallish but very nice comic shop, right in the middle of downtown.
Tiptoe Chan: Not a friend of the LGBTQA+ community. Avoid this place like the plague. 🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈😡
Crystal Strohmeyer: Large selection of comics can find alot
Olivia: Very fun event
Kellen Halter: I came in just to look but stayed for an hour talking with an employee, Sydney. She was very friendly and gave me useful information I needed.Thank you!
Andrea White: Fun store good selection
Jimmy Shake: Staff was super friendly and helpful and we had great conversations. Had pop culture and board game items and many other items than just comics.. Will go back when in the area.
Jesse&Brandy Warren: Terrible clerk, poor customer service, asked about a box I’m looking for an accused me of being a scalper. Will be filing a complaint with BBB and attorney generals office
Aden Kouveras: Great staff, awesome store!
Mitch Hunter: This comic book store is the bee's knees. They have a nice selection of comics as well as manga. I wish they carried Dragon Ball Z/Super T-shirts and hoodies though. The employees are polite and very knowledgeable and I sometimes just drop in to have a conversation with them about upcoming comics, movies and T.V. shows.I definitely recommend this place if you have never been there.

Comic Carnival: what do users think?
Franklin balza urbina: It's good
Dan Holmes: Awesome place to get comics and graphic novels on my favorite heroes.
Angela Trefethen: Fun place to go to connect with my son.
Errold Mayfield: I remember when this place was located in Broad Ripple. Good place to nerd out.
Nicholas P.: We stop by here anytime we visit the Walmart nearby. Staff here are some of the most informative and friendly folks I've ever met. Great selection of comics. They're supportive of several local publications. Board game selection is small, but sometimes they get in older games that you can't find anywhere else. Back issue bins are awesome and so much fun to riffle though for something you love for cheap. Always have a little clearance table, and if you get lucky, something you love will be there at a discount.
Franklin Bennett: A great place to shop for comics. The staff is very helpful and kind.
Carlos Cazares: Great friendly staff and consistency with my pull list! A++
Jenn Hennessy: Love this comic shop! Huge back issue collection.
Zak Phil: Always has comics that no one else does!
Lucas Mitchell: This is my go to comic shop! I use to shop at other comic shops around town and none of them compare to how well this shop is to me! Friendly staff always fun to chat with. I always look forward to pick up my comics here every week!
Lothran: Amazing comic shop. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Only recommendation is to stock more valuable and graded comics.
KillerKitty0330: This is an awesome comic book store very nice selection of comics old and new the owner Is awesome very nice guy me and my husband will be going back when we visit Indiana again!
Chuck Marcinko: Been going here since 1977 for my comic book wants. Always a great time there.
brianfullsail: Friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Great experience will be back.
Michael Rhoads: Great current and back issues. Love this place!
Truck Drivin' Kid Billy: This is a pretty average comic book store as of lately because a lot of them have become commercialized…. When I walked in someone did say hello but then continue talking to their coworker as I walked in and didn’t even really know where to go to start looking for stuff…. Thankfully I’m pretty familiar with coma bookstores and know what to look for but no help was offered at all with no inquiring of what I might be there for….. friendly enough staff but probably needs to work on customer service a little bit with interaction with them other than when someone walks in because once I did get to the register they did seem pretty talkative and helpful…. Because from my accent it can be very apparent that I was from out of town and I would gladly come back if there was staff day or two be more helpful in trying to ask me what I’m interested in….. and we do have a few friends in the area eventually we plan on seeing again but don’t quite know if I’ll be back here….. Plus if I’m being honest the dollar bin section really was not great… I get trying to hold back certain books because some back issues are more valuable or more sought-after but those dollar been issues were primarily books that nobody’s heard of
Leo Torres: Has the most diversity of publication dates that I have seen in central Indiana so far. Plus, tons of fun to overhear the nerdy conversation while digging through massive boxes of single chapter comics. (They have full books too though :) )Update: still slaps and I found Saga #55 ♥️
Berg: Very disappointing experience. Went out of my way to stop here while driving through town. Customer service was non existent with 4 employees and only 1 other guest… not even a “hello” in return.
Benjamin Evans: Very helpful and friendly staff. A true comic book store, would highly recommend.
Katherine White: Interesting shop. Huge amount of stock! My son was able to find his Fortnite comic, and they had some really cool stuff.
Jonathan Gray: I have been going to Comic Carnival for over 30 years! The best comic shops in Indy!

Downtown Comics: what do users think?
Joe K.: Absolutely the best comic shop in Indianapolis! Props to the downtown store, of course, but I LOVE the Castleton store!!
Lothran: Guy working was so rude. He acted like anything I asked him, I was interrupting his lean on the counter time. I asked 2 questions that only he would be able to answer about the availability of two specific comics.Comic Carnival is 100x better. Both selection and service.
Paul Schmitt: Excellent selection and staff. Best around.
Aleisha Burton: Wide selection and friendly staff
kyle jones: Awesome selection!
Jason Kimble: Everything you expect from a comic shop.
Bill London: Helpful and good variety of items
Megan Alam: Wide selection and great prices. Really enjoy this spot.
Jason Rimmert: Pete was friendly and helpful, just like he always is. Thank you.
Linda Smith: I was given a comic collection and knew nothing about them. I went here first for some sort of education and value. Two men took, at max, 15 minutes to look through 798 comics and then offered me $500 for the lot. I said I had another appointment and was told if I left they would have to look them over again and that would somehow be an extra burden. I went to Comic Carnival and Tim Reynolds took 3 1/2 hours valuing each comic with an offer almost 3 times what these rip off guys did. Don’t ever go to this store - fast buck, bilk the ignorant customer.
Eric Teske: Glad to have such a great, friendly, and well stocked comic book store on the north side. Ask about subscribing to your favorite books through pre-orders so they always have new releases waiting for you.
SakaRaki: Love the amount of new comics, and a decent backlog of back issues.
Ryan Kelley: This is my favorite comic book store. They are always extremely helpful any time I need a suggestion or a reminder that I already have a certain book. Top notch service every time.
Tim Coughlin: Great store!
Amber Lowe: Love this place! They have great customer service, a great selection of books for all ages, and the place is always neat and orderly.Been to several of their events and they've all been well managed and with a high, positive energy.Definitely recommend a visit whether it's good for tenured fans or someone new-to-comics!
Brittney Stimson: I like their selection of books, but the staff isn't very friendly or personable.
Steve Hobbs: I came in and let the store know which back issue I had come in for. Even though it was five minutes until closing she immediately dropped everything she was doing and searched the bins until she located it for for me. This place really knows how to put the service in customer service!!
sasha H: Asked if they had a specific run. They said yes so I look around and couldnt seem to find it anywhere so I asked for help. They simply responded with “its in alphabetical order” and looked annoyed that I even asked. After I looked for 5-10 10 minutes, they later said it was sold out, after they told me that they had it! And 2 of the comics I tried buying weren’t for sale until the next day.. next time don’t put items that aren’t for sale on the stands!!! Sad excuse for a comic shop.
Big Hens: Not a good buyer at all came by the store trying to sell my comic books from the '60s and '70s in good condition he only offered me $60 felt insulted you better off selling your comic books on Facebook marketplace or eBay.
Brendon Vanzile: Great place to buy Comics, Collectibles, and books. Manager is always super nice and supportive
Robert Glass: Best comic shop in North Indy! One of three shops around the city, this one is great for all North Siders and Fishers residents. Huge selection and friiendly staff. If you can't find what you're looking for at this location, they can always try to track it down from their other stores to get to you.

The Hero House: what do users think?
Penny Mink: Love it
Alex Braxton: It's a chill little comic shop with a lot to get into, if you like graphic novels you should definitely check it out and it's in a great spot of you just want to get out. There is something for everybody.
Sylvain Villard Duran: Amazing!!! The best ever!!! Very good recommendations, very good comics!
richard miller: Old school vibe.
Mark Everhart: The owner has been pretty good to us, good parking, a good selection, and some back issues are a little pricey. Overall, I like this place.
Daniel Gore: A feather in the cap of fountain square. A large selection of comics and great value. Sign up for a pull list and get a great discount!
Dave DeNeve: Visiting from Cleveland... Met the employee Matt and he was very helpful. Will come back next time I'm in town for sure
Rae Botsford End: Super helpful, perfectly nerdy people work here! If you have questions, they are very helpful and friendly. Mainly hero comics, as expected from the name, but they also carry The Orville, Star Trek, and others.
J.R. Boyd: Happened to be in town for volleyball championships and made a point to check out a 'friendly' local comic shop. Kind of my thing when traveling to a new town. When I called, I asked for non-CGC stock, as I like to read Silver/Bronze age books. Young gentleman said that's what they are known for, and for having a deep well of back issues. Needless to say, I was overwhelmed at the considerable selection of back issue stock which was reasonably priced. The first day, I spent way more than budgeted, but was so happy with the purchases, I went back the next day. Overall, I spent well beyond what I had anticipated, but with back issue selections of this quality and caliber, you strike while the iron is hot. Glad I took a chance and visited this great shop, in a really wonderful/revitalized area of Indy. Great job folks!!
Sarah Sera: The knowledge and enjoyment of this comic shop is AMAZING. Spectacular customer service and satisfaction. I will be going again the next time I'm in the Indianapolis area, 100%. FIVE STARS!
Jonathan Powley: A pinnacle example of the "local comic book shop," The Hero House is a one-room store densely packed with a wide variety of comics and graphic novels, including new releases. Of particular note are the staffers, who are extremely knowledgeable about their stock, and are more than happy to help you locate anything specific, if they have it available. It is worth noting that the long comic boxes located on the upper shelves have all bagged and boarded comics, and many are priced appropriately based on their condition and rarity. For casual readers or serious collectors, there's definitely something for everybody here. Support small businesses!
Nick Kelly: Well don't trust the business hours posted on Google, I just drove to the shop at 1:05 in the afternoon and they weren't open (store hours say open at noon, and found a handwritten sign on the door saying if the open sign is on we are open...). Not a fan of wasting time and gas.
Leslie Mastin: Great store - great owner!
wayne bertsch: best , deepest selection of back issues in the state....if you want raw unslabbed grails this is the spot
Sonnet Harris: Best comic book store in indy
Josh Breece: Always love supporting local businesses, and The Hero House is a personal favorite of mine. A Fountain Square fixture!
Will Bevins: This is a great comic shop, with new and old stock. There's a better selection of back issues than in most shops of similar sizes, and they're well organized and fairly priced or better. The staff is friendly and they REALLY know comics, including the brand new, the classic, and a huge range of media offshoots!
David Grant Lee: Very laid back and welcoming comic book store. In some stores I have felt rushed but not here. The guy behind the counter was engaging, helpful, and a joy to talk to. I'll be stopping in often to see what new things they have or to just kill time
Daydra Price: Best place for your nerdy needs. The guy is really nice an knows his stuff. We love coming out to see what new things are up for grabs.
Aaron Dixon: Knowledgeable staff and decent sized collection. Told of a pooling system to ensure they have what you want when a new comic releases. Sounds like a pretty cool system gonna check it out soon.
Jason Ward: Great people! Very friendly and helpful.
