The Waterpark: what do users think?
Big Red: This place sounds horrible from the reviews alone. I wont go just from what ive read. Apparently they cant handle the north side crowds. Just sounds like too much of a pain to even attempt going here for "a good time". This place apparently has a logistics and occupancy control problem. Sounds like a nightmare to try to have a good time.
Lindsey “Linji” Mark: Closed for the season but hours not updated.
Albert Rodriguez: Muy bueno para pasar un día agradable en el agua.
Maleigha Combs: It was great here the parking is incorrect though
Karen Dutton: Was planning on going before Labor Day over the weekend. Why does it close August 7. In fact today?? Have never been here yet
Yurlem Moreno: Super nice
kate ocarroll macko: Bought a summer membership in order to be able to take our young child, but the baby pool is almost never open due to low staffing (including several beautiful days on weekends). Our child is too young to utilize many other features (not to mention that the things that are accessible get even more crowded when the baby pool is closed), so this was a total waste of money. Very disappointing.
Mose Brown: They made me pay more because I don't live in a gentrified cityAlso too much lazy not enough river
Jane Hendrix: Went at 530, hours stated it closed at 7pm, NOT true- at 615pm it was breaking "everyone out of the pool"- breaking never ended/closing time Started! Mind you they charged us full price for adults $45 for what ended up being 45 minutes--closing time for pool was 7pm it stated!
Jess Fam: Upon arriving there was no sign saying they had areas of the park closed inside the water park. When we got in we noticed the baby pool was closed down for whatever reason and that’s OK so we turned around and tried to get a refund within 10 minutes of being there there was also no chairs available so be very very careful when you go here. The park was kind of OK it had a lot of stuff that no one else has but the tricky part is they refused to give you a refund even though a certain part of the park you wanted to use was closed. Then not only that they make you walk to another building to get a refund to talk to the manager no one will give you a refund if you use cash so we basically spent $30 for nothing it was absolutely terrible and then I sent an email to the manager and the managers manager hasn’t responded yet either. They stated if I used a debit card that they would’ve given me a refund but since I use cash I could not have one.Even though they had all that cash available right in front of me they refused to give me my $30 back.If the managers manager contact me back I will change this review because I do believe in being fair if I would get my money back I will take down this review. But as of now it was absolutely terrible it’s all ran by 15-year-olds and nobody knows anything and you can’t get anybody to do anything for you and the customer service is absolutely horrible.Because no one can “do anything”I was NOT impressed here
D Dieter Bell: Nice venue! I like that you can check occupancy online at any time.I don't think there are enough large tubes.I went at 4pm on weekday , website said 70% occupancy when I left home. We waited about 5 min to get in, maybe 10-12 min for the large slides. Kiddie pool closed so only 4 stars. There are various little kids , 6-7 year olds, who run around and cut lines. Older kids and adults assume they are running to catch up to family but nope, they're just cutting. Happened to us with at least 5 different kids. . One little hellion who was about 6 with pierced ears ran and cut in front of husband on big slide, turned and flipped him off before sliding down. All life guards are watching water so they dont see it. So- stand your ground .It's a great place for family and good price compared to commercial parks..
Amanda Chapman: Really cool water park for the whole fam! Pools and facilities were clean, and food was reasonably priced. We got there at 11am and had to wait in line. Line was long but moved quickly. They had Kona ice, which always awesome for the kids. Despite the rain, the day was a blast!
Jared Shofner: The park is very nice and has many fun pools and slides. The problem is that they have trouble selling tickets and moving people into the park. The lines are very long and they only choose to utilize one booth to process payments.
Jarrell Oliver: Great family fun. Clean and we'll run facility.
trish millette: The place was really great
Jessica Karamanos: The kids ages 9 & 13 had a blast for the most part. It was completely full on a Sunday 1 hr. after opening. When at capacity if you go outside the gate you have to wait to get back in. A lack of common courtesy is a big problem here, not like it isn't everywhere it just stood out here because of it being over crowded. 30+min for the lazy river with only 10-20 people waiting but then as more people come up (mostly grown adults) they shove to the front not caring about the people (even kids) that have been patently waiting. The concessions are decently priced. I would suggest getting there before they open, bringing your own chairs, umbrella & cooler.
John Gravagna: I've been to this Waterpark more than several times and it seems to get a little worse each time. Today I was looking to enjoy some time in the Lazy River and noticed that there weren't many available tubes for floating. I noticed a number of people using the tubes as seats outside of the Lazy River. I guess they got to the park late and weren't able to lock down some regular seats so they took the tubes from the Lazy River. When I brought it up to the staff they told me that was wrong but didn't want to confront the people. The staff/management/security should really walk the park and make sure everyone is abiding the rules so that everyone who paid is having a good time and not feeling shorted. I only wish I took some photos. Hope this can get fixed.
Dave Harlan: I still can’t quite understand how I could take my kids to a water park and not have a good time. It was crowded. They do limit occupancy and stopped letting people in, but it was still too crowded. There was a shortage of tubes for the lazy river and the water slide, which put people in an ungenerous mood. It’s a nice place with great facilities, I just felt a bad vibe.
Alex Rittenhouse: I will definitely be coming back here time and time again. Such a great time with the family for the price of service. Sooo many things to do, water slides, lazy river, water rock wall, kiddy pool, self generated surfing, activity pool, lap pool, food and more. They do have lo kers for rent if needed. I HIGHLY advise to show up 30 minutes before opening to ensure a great seat and to get first dibs on your most-wanted activity. The surfing waiver can be done online ahead of time which saves time - keep in mind that each rider gets roughly 3 minutes time so the line can take quite some time. Food was well priced and everything was pretty clean! Only docking 1 star for the tube shortage on both lazy river and blue slide...many were flat/busted, leaving a decently long wait to get on both.
Franklin balza urbina: Excellent
Ana Escobar: excellent water park to enjoy with the family

Colts Canal Playspace: what do users think?
Annelise Amelia: Love dis place it is rlly fun and good for kids.Playground: Rlly good.Restrooms: Bathrooms are nastyDog-friendliness: Rlly goodPicnic area: Not one but good for picnics.
Thomas Patra: Came upon this playspace on accident. Kids had a blast and of course parents cut it too short. I (45yr old) had fun climbing the structure! Great community as kids made friends immediately.
Jessica Aleman: This park is great for big kids! My 12 year old girls had a blast while my husband and I chilled by the canal and watched the geese. It would be a great place to have a picnic too! Great location and easy to find.Parking is a little tricky though. We had to park on the street a couple blocks away.
Mrs. K T: Took the kids while I got a great walk in!!! Over 18k steps on the canal.
Margo McDaniel: Hope you like to climb !
nichelle liddell: I enjoyed myself
Cynthia Varela: No public restrooms! Or at least not that I could find either the woman I asked if she knew where they were.Street parking. The playground is for older kids. There is just a slide for toddlers. It's a beautiful spot to enjoy the canal.Playground: Older kids. A lot of climbing.Restrooms: No restrooms at the park or nearby
Sylva Zhang: This is our neighborhood spot, and the dogs got to play here long before the playground was put in, so I never begrudge other neighbors with well-behaved dogs from enjoying the big open green space bounded by a steep hill to get some off leash zoomies in.
Robert Weaver: Very cool
G Mills: We walked down to check out the canal seems like a really cool place but my kids are a little too old for it teenagers but younger kids would love it
Mark Petrison: On the Indianapolis Cultural Trail, and immediately beside the USS Indianapolis Memorial.
virluz garcia: I like
N Odell: Great park. Cushioned grounds for safety under the climbing bars. Slides, swings, benches, shade. Extra plus, seeing the fountain and the ducks on the canal.Restrooms: Internet says there are restrooms, we never found them, sadly.Picnic area: Several long benches, but no picnic tables.
suga snaxxx: This place is not for kids ... It's cute ,the ground is rubber.. but the kids had hard time with the slide
Precious Miller: Peaceful 🙏🏾
Jeffery Coomer: Pretty cool park along the canal with a different, but cool atmosphere.
Allen Gray Jr: I'm. Allen. Gray. Jr. Cousin. Of. Actor. Don. Cheadle. And. Husband. Of. Mrs. Andy. Niemann. And. I'm. A. Huge. Indianapolis. Colts. Super. Fan
A Woman's Worth Creation: This is a nice Park but honestly the slide is impossible for toddlers or smaller kids. It was really high to climb and complicated in fitting. There were several upset toddlers while we were there because they just wanted to slide with older kids but couldn't in a safe way. But it was one of the nicer parks we've been to! 👍🏽
Natasha Malone: Visited from out of town. Kids loved this
Binta Yani Abdourahamane: good place for kids

Tarkington Park: what do users think?
Tee Bryant: Great park..for everyone 👏 👍 👌 😀 🙌 ❤️
Lauren Smith: This is the best park everPlayground: The play ground is clean and yhey got a basketball court
Azucena Amador: Esta super bonitoEs pequeño pero es agradable 😌 😉
Lady Q: Nice park and very clean great place for kids to have fun
Caleb Franks: This park is disgusting. It has the potential to be nice, but it is damaged, littered, filled with vagrants, and people smoking pot. Lots of the benches have parts missing, trash is strewn everywhere, weeds grow in the mulch, graffiti covers the bathroom doors, and it’s generally a sad looking spot. It has so much potential, but it’s ruined by the people who misuse it. It could be such a bright spot in the neighborhood, but I do not feel safe bringing my children here. There even appears to have been a fire on the playground which melted the rubber. See photos attached. Splash pad was also recently vandalized and wasn’t running for a few months this summer.
Sonya Greenwade: Update: This park isn't safe anymore. Crime in the area especially at the park has gone up. I don't come here anymore. Children should have a safe place to have fun and play.I never knew there was a park over here until my sister told me about it. It's very nice and clean. There is a club house that you can rent out. There are bathrooms and water fountains that's available to those visiting the park. There's a lot of activities for all different ages, including 2 basketball courts and illuminated water spouts that you can play in.
Tila Davis: An absolutely adorable park just off 38th and Illinois.
Indea Mccombs: AYF football and cheer are here every Tues. Thurs. and they getting good at they craft. Cheerleaders going in on new cheers and players going hard on a new play. So awesome #youthmatters
Alex Flagg: Love the new section of this park. The playground is really updated and all turf. There's a fountain style splash pad on the other side. Love that there's a little lunch place right there too! Only complaint is how close it is to the street with no barrier!
Keita Lucket: Beautiful park … always keep a good few eyes on your children.. Enjoy
Jezebelle DeWitt: Nice park
Jennifer Eidson: Great park. It has 2 separate playgrounds and lots of things to do. They have a splash pad but the water is never working. That is the only negative thing I have abt that park.
C Mo: Grandma 's go to stop!
Yurie Snyder: The splash pad is now open!!!
Felipe “CubanHardbody” Scott: Great park...been hooping here for a long time....and bringing the kids
Olivia Blackwell: Splash pad wasn't working and it was dirty
McArthur Tolbert Jr: I great park to relax and enjoy your surroundings.
L Wooden: Kids will always love the water park and play ground area.Playground: Yes Public restrooms: Yes Off-leash dog area: No Picnic tables: Yes Barbecue grills: Yes …More
John Russ: Great walking trails!
Christine Olson: Park had trash all over the place and the playground equipment was raggedy and tore up. This is the park that everyone in the hood uses for a daycare they drop their kids off in the morning, leave them there all day unsupervised during the summer so you can't leave anything you own laying around for even a couple of minutes without somebody stealing it. Grown men acting like immature children playing games of dice and killing each other over their disputes of such. Just had a 11yr old kid shot over there and nobody will even come forward as to what happened. Don't let the news articles fool you, this is one of worst parks in Indy.Restrooms: Disgusting. Dog-friendliness: So long as the people visiting the park don't have a problem with your dog it's fine. But people really to teach their kids to stop rushing at people's dogs because that is dangerous. Picnic area: Ants all over the tables, trash cans always overflowing with garbage.
John Reddick: Very nice park for family and kids!

Freedom Springs Greenwood Aquatics Park: what do users think?
Lobster: I strongly recommend going to their adult nights, it is crowded but fun. I am definitely looking forward to getting my tickets this year!
Gomez Timmy: This review is based on our experience of it when it was rented for a private event.
RazziKatta RZ: Excellent pool day for the dogs!!
Trisha Neal: Employees are generally friendly, bathrooms are typically found to be clean and stocked. Walking the "Lazy River" however is never clean. You never know what you'll find, but you know you'll always find something, actually multiple somethings. And just because you pull it out of the water and set it on the side, doesn't mean you won't see it still there 2 days later...
Sharmon Lee Russell: Are family had a great day. The only thing is the price is kind of steep and the food is very pricey. I suggest you eat before you go and just go for the swimming! Very busy and no lap lanes for a real swim!
Donald Smith: IMO a fun place to visit to cool off but the food and entrance prices are far too high...
Iov Ionel Chisu: Excellently arranged water park and sports grounds.
Aaron Reed: Had never heard of this place until today. Nice little water park around Indy.
China Fox: It is so fun and cool and a big water slide this is her son.
JILL BYERS: I feel after the kids go back to school in August, adults shouldn't have to have a tub to walk or swim in the lazy river unless they prefer one. I understand during summer but after kids go to school, there are maybe 40 people in the lazy river until around 3 pm when the kids get out of school. Let us older ladies walk and swim without the floats during that time!!
rocio sena: Espectacular, para repetir... Sólo la comida, bastante cara
Lewis Rutherford: Great place for the family to have fun. And great service.
A L: Staff is helpful I had a question before visiting that they promptly answered. Lazy rizer is nice and relaxing. I lost my key to the locker down a water slide and they were able to open it for me.
Lindsey “Linji” Mark: Had a super fun day with the water slides, lazy river and enjoying ice cream while sun bathing. Weekdays are low traffic, highly recommended.
Dennis Wells: Freedom Springs provides a great recreational experience for children and adults alike. The staff are friendly and polite. The facilities are clean and neat. The water is clear and appears to be safe.
Tiffany Keeker: A really fun place
Jason Rich: Good experience
Eugene Ford: Went here with the family and had a great time.. you can't beat the price and the lifeguards are on point. If you have kids, this is a must do activity
Marta Barnas: Chose this water park since it was on route to our destination and it looked like it had a great little kids splash area. Stopped in Saturday August 13th. Waste of money. Water was ice old. Unsuitable for little kids. Some older kids who could handle the temperature were playing but little kids under three no way. Unless they have warmer water, water off money.
Lindsey P: I rented a shelter for my sons birthday party here and didn't have the best experience. As soon as we got to the shelter, there were bees swarming the picnic tables and plants surrounding it. And they didn't leave us alone. The staff offered to spray them but with there being several people around, we didn't want anyone to get stung. The pizzas I had ordered through were running late. They were, however, warm when they got to us and it was good. And lastly, the water here is ALWAYS freezing. You would think that the water wouldn't be ice cold toward the end of summer but it was and from what i hear, always is. We won't have a party here again.
Epic Duck: It's just a great place to go there are a lot of people there but that's just bc they know it's a great place to
