Rene's Bakery Inc: what do users think?
danmusicmegaman: Amazing bakery! I ordered a birthday cake for my grandma’s 92 birthday and it was perfect! The cake was moist and delicious and the frosting was just right. The decorations were beautiful and exactly what I asked for. I highly recommend this bakery for all your cake needs!
Phillip Black: Perfect
Brett Rathmell: Tiny shop with lots of Big tasting pastries , cakes , breads & friendly staff ( almost feels like I'm in Europe again )
PETRA STANFIELD: I bought a mixed berry, key lime bread pudding at the place. It looked like and was shaped like a larger than average muffin. While the bread pudding part was moist and had just the right amount of sugar, it was lacking of other items. There were a few berries and streusel on top, but absolutely none inside of the rest of the body.I couldn’t taste anything which would have identified as key lime .
David Sites: Extremely tasty, very nice selection, we had blueberry scones & blueberry bread pudding, delicious!!
Andrew Fultz: Best bakery in town! Cakes, muffins, macaroons and more! Cannot go wrong with Rene's. The staff is so welcoming and friendly as well.
Jim Kelley: Best bakery anywhere! We always compare goodies we get elsewhere vs. Rene's. Rene's wins 95% of the time.
Tom Spalding: Our go-to year-in and year-out for chocolate cakes. None better in Indy and the lines out the door speak for themself. Worth the wait!
Westin Williamson: Nice staff. Limited but delicious selection.
Julian: Danish, croissant and flourless chocolate cake were my favorites. Wish they sold iced coffee
Eddie Price: This is ALWAYS A MUST STOP PLACE when in town from Terre Haute
Olivia Graue: Delicious pastries and kind staff! A Broad Ripple gem.
Eva Rodriguez: Omg everything is amazing here, the costumer service is 6 stars😅..I came to far away just to buy walnut and raisins bread
Christopher Ullrich: Melt in you mouth croissants, excellent selection of muffins, cakes, danishes,etc... Must try.
Vinicio Sanchez: Great croissants!
Olu_Fikayo: Beautiful and cozy space with lovely people and yummy bakes 😊
Amy Lurker: Everything here is delicious. You can't go wrong no matter what you choose. Some of our family favorites are the almond croissants and chewy chocolate cookies.I brought my kids in today to pick out a treat they chose macarons and they were all delicious but the passion fruit one was phenomenal! The staff is also super friendly. My son said he wants to come back every day!
J C: Omg…just stopped in for the first time. So many delicious treats, we went a bit crazy! :). Got out to the car and scarfed down a piece of blueberry coffee cake and my wife had a chocolate cream eclair. Love the environment and the folks were really nice. Definitely will be visiting again.
Anahi Peña Dominguez: Muy amable todos saben entender en español
Halle Choi: Best fruit tart of my life!!!!
Manpreet: Delicious white velvet cake- would highly recommend this bakery to anyone in the Indy area. Also, great staff! 🎂 🤤🤪

Native Bread: what do users think?
Malcolm Rogers: If you're not getting your allergen-free goodies from here, you should be. Even if you don't have food allergies. Everything is so so tasty.
Amber: Stopped by for the first time last week, and so glad I did. Some of the BEST gluten-free (as well as basically everything-free) baked goods I have ever tasted. I purchased the honey wheat & rosemary bread loaves, as well as several scones. Phenomenal. I cannot wait to try everything else! Hopefully they can open a southside location in the future!
Matt T: I stumbled upon this bread shop recently and was so happy to have found it!If you have an opportunity to talk to the owner and hear their story, it speaks to their intentional purpose in their products and facility. We tried two different types of bread that were available that day which were both great with soups for dipping, or made into some sandwiches with your favorite toppings (go early! It's that good! Or order ahead!).The bread was fresh and delicious! We are thankful for all that you do, and look forward to seeing you next time ✌️
Matthew Simmons: If you are gluten free you have no excuse not to visit this gem. I repeat- go here- buy it all! The bread and cookies are to die for! I’m gluten and dairy free and they had endless options! The whole kitchen is gluten free!
Alex Nation: Amazing gluten free bread. I honestly do not care for 90 percent of gf bread, but this is my favorite. I’ve only ever had their bread from farmers markets and am happy to learn of this location :)
Kimber Krauser: Best gluten free bread I've ever had. Love their seed load as well as their gallettes. Highly recommend their easy pre order online. Shop local.
Bridget Brunette: They make amazing, delicious gluten-free bread. Absolutely worth a try. 100% better than anything I've ever bought in a grocery store.
Shannon Burns Molleo: I unfortunately do not live close enough to the bakery or pick-up locations to stop by in person but I am so happy I ordered for shipping ahead of Thanksgiving! The cinnamon raisin bread was absolutely amazing and my favorite. I also tried a baguette, sourdough, and roasted garlic and rosemary. The added shipping cost was certainly worth it as a special treat.
Carol Smallfelt: Nice
Richard Nussle: They best gluten free bread, hands down. They have a ton of assortment of breads and cookies, scones, etc.Everyone is very friendly. It’s easiest to buy online a couple days before and then pick it up as they do sell out. I also grab their bread at the broad ripple farmers market. My favorites from them are the honey oat and the kalamata olive loaf. The chocolate chip cookies are great too.The photo is of 3 of their different galettes.
Dan Pete: Good gluten-free bread was hard to come by until I discovered this place. For me, gluten-free anything is a dietary must. Grocery store breads are just meh, but Native Bread is miles above and beyond anything out there.Made with real ingredients you can pronounce, the taste makes you forget its gluten-free! Its slightly pricier than store bought but well worth the negligible difference for a high quality product.I found it best to order online for pickup as thier open hours are limited. In store impulse purchases tease the senses when you see and smell the goodies in person! So glad to have found Native Bread! Check it out!
Pervaze Akhtar: The best gluten free and vegan bread I have found.
Mark D Anderson: The best loaf in town, hands down. Conscientiously crafted. Awesome ownership with social responsibility. The sundried-tomato goes down so well. Pairs great with soup/salad, in a sandwich, or standalone. If you like simple mornings, nothing easier than a fantastic artisan bread for breakfast.
Lindsey “Linji” Mark: Love the bread selection, big fan of the honey oat and the rosemary loaf. Tried the chocolate chip cookies and they did not disappoint. If you want something specific but can't get there early use the order ahead option.Try this locally made bread and it'll have you saying, Udi who?!
Brad Secrest: Stop buying those commercial loaves on the shelf or in the freezer at your local grocer! Native Bread loaves are less expensive per ounce and you will never find better flavor or more variety than these artisan loaves. The sourdough is my standby but any of their breads will leave you wanting more. While you're there pick up some cookies or scones too! My only recommendation is to add a slicer to the kitchen so we can buy them pre-sliced. I have a small deli slicer at home so it's no biggie for me and I get lovely uniform slices but I'm confident others would appreciate sliced bread.
Courtney: Their bread is the best gluten free bread that I have had! Thank you for making bread for those of us with allergies.
Dawn Kozarian: I ran across native bread while visiting the farmers market off Meridian Street. Having issues with gluten and gums I thought I’d give it a try. Wow! My digestive system seems to be OK with it and I love it. Thank you.
Nicole Hikesalot: Delicious homemade gluten free bread! I am so glad this place is in town, I am celiac and missed good bread so much, and this bread is simply amazing, all healthy and natural ingredients. Great customer service too! Be sure to try the other baked goods like the muffins and danishes. Outstanding!!
A. A. Akhtar: Outstanding quality! European style bread that's gluten free and vegan! Lots of flavors/choices: sourdough, seeded boule, olive, cinnamon raisin,& more!
Mindy: I waited a year to try Native Bread and it was worth the wait and long drive. Grocery store gluten free bread was irritating my stomach with all of it's additives and gums. Native bread is a lot easier on my stomach and it's texture and flavor are amazing. The cinnamon raisin bread is my current favorite. Even my gluten eating friends love it.
Kylie Lockett: The best bread I’ve ever had! Its very hearty and the only bread that doesn’t make me feel bloated after eating it. I’m partial to the honey oat and cinnamon raisin. Both taste amazing toasted with just butter or add honey, peanut butter, jelly, etc. It’s a big hit here in Indianapolis and loaves Sewell out fast, so plan to order ahead a few days in advance to avoid any hiccups to get your order.

The Flying Cupcake: what do users think?
Dawn Molnar: The cupcakes and cakes are delicious but be prepared to not get what you order. I ordered the Dark Chocolate raspberry lunch box cake which clearly states and shows in a picture that is has chocolate buttercream frosting. I received a cake with white frosting. The same thing happened at Christmas. I ordered the decorated sugar cookies. They were delicious but instead of being decorated for Christmas they all came in blue and pink frosting. Looked like baby shower cookies. Delicious but disappointing.
Medha Kulkarni: In my opinion, The Flying Cupcake is a decent bakery - the cupcakes are definitely on the extra-sweeter side and can be a bit heavy. I often find that the icing is a bit overwhelming and makes the cupcake hard to eat after a few bites. Additionally, I've noticed that the cupcakes can be a bit dry, and it would be nice if there was some filling inside to add moisture. That being said, I did order a cake from The Flying Cupcake for my best friend's birthday and it was pretty good! While the cupcakes may not be my absolute favorite, I still enjoy them and appreciate the variety of flavors available.Overall, I would say that I like The Flying Cupcake, but I don't love it. It's a good spot for satisfying a sweet tooth, but the cupcakes could benefit from some improvements in texture and sweetness.
Cheryl Biggerstaff: Great vegan cupcake.
Josh Scruggs: The cupcakes are very good. There is usually a large selection of flavors. The sugar cookies are some of the best in the city but can be hard to get as they sell out quickly.
Marcus Turner: Amazing cupcakes. Prices are very high - still worth it. 😎
Jolie Li: Excellent pumpkin cupcake !
Chilibertty: This cupcakes are so delicious!! They could improve the decorations, but other than that they're great:)
Sofia Wicker: Phenomenal
K Schaefer: The most delicious cupcake I've tasted yet in the U.S.! Flavorful, perfect cake texture and just the icing does not take over the cake! Went with employee's recommendation (which would not have been my choice) and so glad I did! Sad lemon was sold out 😞
Christal Young: I was in town for a conference and these convention centers never have decent dessert options for vegans. I used DoorDash to order a vegan red velvet Elvis to satisfy my sweet tooth and it did not disappoint! For starters, the cupcake was HUGE and I definitely had enough for 2 servings. Plus, it was just a darn good cupcake! The chocolate chips baked inside was such a delightful addition. I have another trip to Indy in another few months and I'm looking forward to another one of these!!
Patricia Vanderveer: We LOVE everything about the Flying Cupcake and try to visit every time we are in the Indy area!!
Maria Khan: Love their red velvet cupcake, probably the best cupcake I've ever eaten. They no longer do a rewards program which is a little unfortunate - used to enjoy their yearly free birthday cupcake too. They also do cakes (be careful when calling them what location you're talking to)! Of course as a specialty shop their baked goods are super expensive ($4.50 for the red velvet cupcake) but they're high quality items. Overall a cute little Indy small business with good variety of cupcake flavors.
Shannon Quartuch: They're very nice and the cupcakes are great! I love the red velvet and the lemon especially. 💛
Beverly Rogian: I found this place by accident over 2 years ago when I moved up here from NC. I've eaten other cupcakes from other places, and ALWAYS come back here. NEVER disappointed...even if they don't have what I came in for...because it makes me try another flavor, and I'm a happier customer for it!
JORDAN KENNEDY: Try to visit the flying cupcake but they were closed on a Sunday at 1:15 in the afternoon.
Victoria Harrison: We went toward the end of the day so they didn't have all there options available. We were very pleased with what we did get though! I highly recommend the Red Velvet cupcake, best I've had in a while. The bakery was cute and the staff was friendly. We got 4 jumbo cupcakes for under $25, not bad but not great.
Local Investor: I ate my cake and had it.😂👇🏼After a cupcake, you're left with a bit of guilt in the back of your mind. How will you manage to justify that last indulgent bite?🤷🏻The answer is simple. Buy a second, bigger one.😀😜The Flying Cupcake has just what i needed a selection of jumbo cupcakes to share with friends and family. Heart-shaped, ❤️with a range of flavors, you can never go wrong with this adorable confectionery shop 🍰Make a good recommendation 👍People also ask:What were cupcakes first called?Fun Facts About Cupcakes. Lavon Hazard: I bought 5 cup cakes yesterday and when I got home I was so disappointed. They were all hard around the edges and so dry. It was like they were baked last week. So not happy spending $27 for them. What a waste of money. I should have taken the time to go to Nothing Bundt Cakes!!! They never failed me!
Will Berry: Picked up some cupcakes for my SO as they sell GF cupcakes, forgot about them in my backseat and put my seats down to load some furniture. With the care they put into packing the box somehow no cupcake was harmed, felt like that deserved a review.Thank you!
G P: Absolutely AMAZING customer service!! The location on Mass Ave really went above and beyond for me. I wanted to surprise my daughter with something special because today was a special day, but wasn't sure how since I am in Florida. So I ordered through UberEats and called The Flying Cupcake and they offered to add toppers to the cupcakes AND even write on the box for me!! Now this is just superior customer service and I appreciate it so much!!!And if that wasn't enough....THE CUPCAKES WERE DELICIOUS!!!!!!
Melissa: The cupcakes are delicious!!! You can’t go wrong with any of the flavors. I also recently ordered several dozen of their mini cupcakes and a smash cake for a party and their service was wonderful. It’s so nice to have such a yummy sweet bakery on Mass Ave!

Nothing Bundt Cakes: what do users think?
Honest Reviews: The cake is good but too sweet and I'm a sweets person. After a bite or two I'm done. I believe without the icing it wouldn't be as sweet. If you can't handle alot of sugar perhaps try it without icing.
Colin Murray: Amazing experience. Sarah is a queen
Mz Joy2TheWorld: Love this place. Cakes are super moist and the icing is always on point! My favorite so far have been confetti and carrot cake. Definitely go in as their delivery is atrocious through their site.
Tambra Macaluso: SOOOOOOOO GOOOOOOOD!!!
Jessica White: Didn't care for them at all
BeeYem: For their conditions and restrictions, the cake taste doesn’t worth. It’s a overrated cake company.
Scott Smith: We love this franchise and almost always stop in when we see one. This location was clean, the service was great, and the cakes were delicious as always!
Nicole Means: Love the variety of cakes & new flavors that come throughout the year.
Amanda S: These are amazing and moist. Nothing like the Bundt cakes I grew up eating. They are sold cold, so just let them sit out and come to room temperature. This is an awesome cheap gesture that will brighten anyones day. Even when it’s busy, I’m always in and out in 5 minutes.
Brittany McKinnie: I LOVE cake. Nothing Bundt Cake has the best cake that I have ever tasted. It’s fresh, fluffy, moist, and rich in flavor. Trust me, you will not be disappointed. I had the white chocolate raspberry and strawberry and cream.
Tammy Lundy: Cake was very good and service was great
Sylvia Kang Innie: You had me at White Chocolate Raspberry Bundt...bought it for my daughter's birthday. I'm a busy mom that ran out of time to preorder and you saved the day. Thank you from our whole family. Everyone now wants their birthday cake to be Bundt🤗
Lela Adams: The strawberry and cream is fantastic.
Adrienne Ludwig: Got my free birthday cake, strawberries & cream...yummy!! In & out, no line. Grandkids got mad...dad went back for seconds, there were just crumbles left in the morning. Must of been delicious as he's a health fanatic.
Julie Roberts: I bought a classic assortment of minis. I have only tried the raspberry kind as of yet but it was very good. I'm glad I tried them. Very easy to purchase. I was able to walk in, speak to a person and place my order. I was in and out in about 5 minutes.
Kylie Lockett: These cakes phenomenal! The Bundt cake style is reminiscent of my late great grandmother Which is really sweet to me. The cakes are incredibly moist and have very good flavor! Highly recommend!
Doc Riley: Very friendly staff
Rosalind Smith: This was 1st time at this store. I bought a cake for my son's birthday. My cake was not really moist and I'm not sure if it was fresh.I was very disappointed. The cakes that I have bought from the Fischer location has always been fresh & moist.
Joshua Adams: Delicious cakes while also beautiful. I would definitely recommend trying this place if you are into sweets. They also have loads of other items, great for gifts along with a cake. They are on the pricier side for a sweet craving. I did find their signage on the floor a little odd as the directions was opposite it seemed?
Mary Beth Gianoli: Good products and they have a gluten free option. Only one gluten free, though and they upcharge for it. 🤔
Angela Kee: My husband ordered my birthday cake from Nothing Bundt Cakes this year and WOW I was really impressed! He ordered the marble bundt and it was so beautiful! Tastefully decorated for my birthday and the taste was divine!! I am not a big sweets person so the fact that it isn't drowned in sugary icing was a definite plus. The cake was moist and absolutely a treat to eat.A few days after my birthday, my boss treated everyone in the office to mini bundt cakes, I had the red velvet and it was truly delicious! I would refer anyone to these folks. You wont be disappointed!
