Hannah D.: Even if my life depended on it, I would not go to see Dr. Ensley for any OB/GYN issues. I was scheduled to see Delaney the PA, but had to reschedule with Dr. Ensley as she was out on a family emergency. I kept my appointment with him because I was desperate and could not see my regular OB/GYN as she was booked out to far. I was roomed by the PA in training and I explained to this woman my issues. She seemed extremely concerned and definitely made me feel heard when I was talking to HER. Before he came in, I heard them outside my exam room and she was trying to explain what was going on and he walked right in as she was mid sentence talking about my issues. He then made me re-explain ALL of my issues that were going on, cutting me off repeatedly to get in a word. He then had the audacity to mansplain to me that my symptoms were due to my "diet" and that birth control would stop my symptoms and uncontrollable bleeding within 3 months of starting birth control and that in 3 months it would be "controlled". He was very pushy about me starting birth control to control my symptoms and did not seem to have any concerns as to why I was experiencing my symptoms or ordering any tests or ultrasounds. I have NEVER, and I mean NEVER felt so patronized and ignored by a medical provider in my life. You hear horror stories of women being ignored by medical providers and then experiencing extreme medical issues because of it, and this man is one of those people that is a part of the problem. Because he was not listening to me and was too busy mansplaining and cutting me off, I had to go to the ER the following day to have my issues actually addressed. Thankfully, the ER treated me and I have a diagnosis for my condition AND it's not being treated by birth control (shocker). If you have a vagina, stay AWAY from this practice. I feel bad for any person who is being treated by him. There are plenty of other great OB/GYN practices in Indianapolis.
Cassandra Gookins: So happy to find this doctor and his staff! After an unpleasant experience at another office I was so thankful to find this practice! The office staff are kind and do their job well. Dr.Ensley and his assistant were wonderful spending time listening to my problems and asking questions to better understand my health and the problems I’m having. Dr.Ensley and his assistant helped me feel comfortable even during the pelvic exam. You will be listened to at this practice! Felt a great burden lift from my heart as I walked out. I finally feel like I’m being taken care of. Thank you!
Jaedra Roberts: I’ve recently had a few people ask me for OB recommendations so I thought I’d leave this review. If I could give Dr Ensley & his team a thousand stars I would. I have been seeing them for 2 years now for PCOS management and pregnancy. Ensley was the first doctor I called after a horrible experience with another Dr for my first pregnancy/delivery. Unfortunately my first appointment with him ended up being during a miscarriage but they made me feel so comfortable and truly cared about how I was doing and what my next step was for trying again. 2 years later I am now half way through my healthiest pregnancy so far and I am so happy to have Ensley & his team on my side. I often see Delaney at my appointments and she’s honestly the most caring person I’ve met. Everyone listens to my concerns and addresses them well. My daughter is usually super shy but she loves going to appointments with me and seeing them/getting stickers 😊
Amber David: Dr. Ensley and his team are great. He delivered my daughter in 2019 and has been my OB ever since. Delaney and Regan, and all the other staff are super friendly and accepting. Made sure I was comfortable throughout my appointment and took their time to answer all my questions.
Abbey Tart: Dr Enseley and Delaney have been taking care of me for 2.5 years now , I’ve had two children in which both were considered high risk pregnancies and both times they’ve always made sure to provide amazing care and support to me . I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my ob and gynecology care and needs than dr enseley and his team ! Thank you so much for all that you do and for truly being great doctors !

Erinn Weaver: So I'm real confused because I had called a couple times already to set up an appointment here, but I've never had an actual doctor call me back on the phone from an OB before directly. This was a first! So Dr Ensley called me once the day before and left no message and then just a bit ago and it didn't go well at all. I was telling him about my issues with endometriosis and what I was looking at with my situation and he literally says "You sound like you have a lot going on and they seem like very in-depth problems, so, I think it would be best that you go back to the OB you were with before, and maybe just change doctors alright? Ok, thank you." Literally cut me off when I started to say something else and was saying "ok" even though he wasn't listening anymore, I mean really direct! I had even told him that I wasn't happy with the OB before him!! It was as if he was saying "I don't want to have to deal with what you got going on, too complicated, not for me" and literally hung up the phone. Doesn't seem that caring of a doctor or a person for that matter...guess I'll be finding one that is and isn't so rude on the phone and makes time to actually meet a person face to face without making hasty decisions first and foremost. One of the craziest experiences I've dealt with yet! I would advise any women out there at all, if you have any serious issues going on, whether endometriosis or something else... then DON'T go see this guy!! Just overall, a very weird interaction all together! Wow, smh.
nikki ami: I had Dr. Ensley for a very short period of time as my OBGYN since I moved to Indiana 5 months pregnant. He was able to get my documents transferred from my previous OB very efficiently and always was available to address all of my concerns. After giving birth, his office made sure that I was doing well post-partum, he recommended a wonderful pediatrician to me, and overall has been a great OB.I had an issue with my two insurances debating on who would cover what, and even though it was a hassle, he worked with me and got it taken care of. I would definitely recommend anyone to his practice.
Alyssa Bussell: I have just recently started seeing Dr. Ensley and his staff. They are all so kind and willing to help! Dr. Ensley listened to my concerns and ideas, and gave plenty of useful information regarding fertility and other issues. I love the feel of this office because it’s not just another one of those large corporations where you are one of 6000 patients. If you’re looking for an OBGYN who is considerate, informative, with a small office feel…they’re a great option!
Brittany Larson: Ensley has truly been a Godsend to us. We specifically travel all the way from Fishers (40 mins) for this pregnancy. We went into pre-term labor at 30 weeks with Mono-Di twin boys and he and his team were able to stop it. He visited me in the hospital not only for check-ups but kept in great communication with the nurses and staff there so they could accomplish and accommodate everything he thought was best for our boys. Even when I had asked the nurses to call. He is very knowledgeable and provides me with all answers. Risks and advantages. Always gives advice when needed and I never feel uncomfortable calling to ask questions and he always gets back to us promptly. He cares so much and that TRULY shows. Alicia and Kasey have been the most amazing as nurses and assistants. Delaney (whom is new) has been a Godsend to us also. She is so caring, knowledgeable and truly makes me feel like my sister is there every time with me. She is a great asset to their team and I feel grateful that we found this amazing team to take care of our boys. So thankful and grateful!

We have had multiple losses and I am happy to say we are weeks away from meeting our rainbow. If you need a dr who will listen and take his time to help, come see Dr. Ensley! You will not be disappointed. He also has the most amazing nurse, Casey. She is the biggest sweetheart and makes you feel welcome and cared for! You can tell they both love their jobs and care for their patients!
maiya gomez: Ignore my google name LOL! I have felt compelled recently to speak on my experience at this office because of how much I have MISSED this doctor and his wonderful staff. I was a patient through my last pregnancy about 2 years ago, and I had the absolute best experience as a first time mom. I have since moved away and am now pregnant with my second child and seeing another provider, and Through this pregnancy I have been left wishing I could just move back to Dr. Ensley’s office. The staff and the level of care I received at this office was truly unmatched. Through my labor and delivery Dr. Ensley made me feel so well informed and I still remember after I delivered my daughter the kind and encouraging words he spoke to me. I highly recommend this office!

Katie Regalado: I started going to Dr. Ensley after a bad experience with IU health in Bloomington early on in my pregnancy. I’m so thankful I made the switch , it was completely worth the drive for me. He took the time to answer all my questions and without judgement. The staff has always been pleasant and makes you feel comfortable. I had a really smooth delivery and I couldn’t have asked for better from Dr. Ensley and the team at St.Fransican. I managed to deliver without an epidural and I strongly believe I couldn’t have done it without the calm and encouraging environment that was provided.
Sherrie Kight: Dr. Ensley delivered my last child in July of last year via repeat c-section. He took great care of my child and I, very knowledgeable in all questions/concerns I had in regard to my pregnancy. This was my 3rd csection and my scar, by far, is the best out of the three! The other two had keloids and you can barely see the this one! Way to go, Dr. Ensley!

His care n kindness are something out of this world, his staff OMG soo sweet and loving they have a heart of Gold "i love you all" They save my marriage and my family are so proud of them my husband can't get enough of me and the baby all thanks to Dr Ensley and staff. Laura Cole: I've been going to Dr. Ensley for about 5 years now. He delivered my daughter and it was a great experience. I am very thankful. He is very knowledgeable, he is not afraid of asking second opinion from other doctors, he rather be on the safe side of things (which I appreciate), and he takes the time to talk to you and answer questions. His staff makes you feel so welcome. It really feels like family. I am also a minority women, so if you read anything negative about him in regards to that, please don't listen. It comes from people full of hatred who haven't even met him.

Fernanda CD: My two reasons for not giving them 5 stars are because sometimes they’re very busy and you end up waiting a long time for certain procedures. Also, I feel like they don’t explain everything to you. Depending on the nurse they will go over details, but some will just rush to get things done. But other than that, they do their job and treat you well.
Jodi Black: Dr Smidt is the best and so is her assistant Crystal! Very knowledgeable, friendly, and always make me feel comfortable. The office is very organized and clean! I highly recommend it!

I would highly recommend this office and Dr. McDonald.

And I am so glad I did. Dr Bowers is an amazing, patient, straight to the point type of Dr. also I love the honesty it's definitely a breath of fresh air.

Jenna Siders: They do not give adequate care because you see a different doctor almost every visit. This also causes them to miss explanations for tests/care you receive. They have an out of date visitor policy. They do not fill prescriptions correctly. They leave used/full urine samples in the bin in the bathroom where you put your urine cup for it to be tested. Not once did I leave my urine sample without seeing someone else’s full urine cup there. They also throw away the used empty urine cups in the public bathroom trash.

Jolie Li: Dr Sherman, we own you for my smooth delivery! it was our first born (now she is 3 yo), we didn't know what to expect but I still remember how Dr Sherman slept at the hospital waiting for me to deliver. My water broke ard 3am, she came in right away to deliver. Our family moved after that. I delivered my 2nd child in Houston (now he is 2yo) and I thought the experience would be the same but noooo, it was not, nothing compared to how Dr Sherman cared and treated me. Now I wonder if I should have our 3rd child and deliver in Indy with Dr Sherman or not.

Lynea Krebbs: Everyone here is so kind and so professional! Best care I’ve ever had compared to my home town’s care, hands down! Dr. Wisler is wonderful and listens to you and treats you like a human being and not just another number. I recommend this gynecologist if you’re like me and was experiencing bad care or doctor’s not listening to you, I’d definitely switch to Axia! They take care of you and actually listen to your needs! Also worth the drive! I live an hour away so if you live further away, let me tell you the care you will receive is worth the drive! 😊 🏻

It’s Driese: Went in for an annual & my BP was slightly higher than normal. Only recommendation was to prescribe me a high blood pressure pill which I rejected. I wish Dr. Lane had provided a more healthier way to lower my BP.Doctors get paid for every prescription they prescribe to their patients. Big money gain for them & the pharmaceutical companies.
ann james: At first I thought Indy was kind and knowledgeable. After going to her a 2nd time she was very wishy-washy with the information that she was giving me on some ovarian cysts that I have. I obtained her medical notes and they were contradictory to what she talked to me about during my visit. After my last visit with her I definitely will not be going back to her. Also their nurse/office staff is also incompetent. It has been a nightmare trying to get my images from my ultrasound. I would take previous reviews with a grain of salt and strongly consider going elsewhere!

Amber Collins: If I was able I would give Dr. Lane more than a 5 Star review. I have been a patient of hers for over 13 years and she has delivered all my children. Not only has she been wonderful but she has been so caring and compassionate especially in times when I had so many unexpected heartaches in my life! She walked with me through my husband being gone in the military to be shot and injured. She was by my side during that time and made sure I was okay and she was a phone call away. She also walked with me when my daughter was diagnosed with cancer in 2007 the day I delivered my son. She went out of her way to be more than a doctor! She has impacted my life in so many ways I could not thank her enough for just being there! If you have any doubts about Dr. Lane and her practice don’t she is the best and will always have a meaning in my heart!

Gina Kerr: Every interaction has been an excellent experience! I would highly suggest this practice. Dr. Dawes, DO assessed my health challenges with key facts and effectively advised the proper pathway to healing, which in my case was surgery. I am 1 week in recovery post surgery, and feel incredibly better than pre-surgery. Also, the scheduling and insurance assistance staff have been amazing! I'm extremely grateful for the wonderful care received. As stated, I would highly suggest this practice!

Amy B: This practice's front office staff is neither friendly nor understanding. I understand and appreciate why there is a 15 minute grace policy for appointments; I am not intimating that my doctor's time is unimportant. However, when I checked in for my appointment at 8:45am for an 8:30am appointment (after being stuck in construction traffic and sprinting into the office from my car), I was flatly refused access to my doctor because I hadn't checked in at 8:44am. As I stood there frustrated and crying, the only explanation I was given was that they were very strict with their 15 minute policy. I asked if it would have made a difference if I had called ahead to provide warning of my tardiness; I was coldly told it wouldn't have mattered because they don't make any exceptions with their policy. The next appointment I could get to see my doctor was 2+ months away. I now plan on canceling that appointment and finding a new practice as I don't wish to spend my money or time at a practice that treats their patients with such insensitivity.

Wendy Youker: I love Dr. Sonn! She is awesome. She took me on after Dr. Elaine Dupler retired. She is extremely personable and explains procedures very well. Today I had a LEEP procedure done in office.I could of done it out patient but since I handled other procedures so well ( I have a high pain tolerance) we both felt I decided I would do fine in office. Maggie Brown: Dr. Ronco, her nurses and staff at the Zionsville office are exceptional….I couldn’t ask for better care from scheduling appointments, checking in, having emails answered in the portal, timeliness of appointments and the time taken during appointments. Dr. Ronco takes her time and is mindful to provide whole person attention and care. This care is hard to find, but she and her staff have always put me at ease, greeted me with warmth, truly listened and provided the support and care I have needed. Would highly recommend her to anyone needing OB/GYN care - she is one of a kind awesome!

Inaia Phoenix: I have been to countless OB/GYNs over the years, and Deb Ronco is by far the best. I transferred care to her from another physician. Just from my chart, she was well-aware of my complicated health issues and asked me all the right questions. We had a great conversation, and after 30 minutes, I was actually excited for her to perform surgery on me. This is after having a previous surgical experience that was highly negative. I recommend her to all my friends.
Lauren LaCorte: Had a routine Dr appt this morning and the amazing Dr. Ronco made it so special for Belle and David. She asked them their names and ages and if they were excited to be a big sister and big brother. She measured my belly like they do at every appointment, but then asked David is she could measure his arm to see how big the baby would be. She told David the baby would be even bigger than his arm, which made him so excited, and then she thanked him for helping her check on the baby. Then she got out the Doppler and asked Belle to push the button to turn it on for her. She asked them both to tell her when they thought they heard the heartbeat, so they were cheering when they heard it. Then Belle turned it off for her and Dr. Ronco thanked her for helping too. Every doctor I've met at OBGYN of Indiana has been wonderful and I truly have no concerns about any of them being available at the time of delivery, but this was so above and beyond, and helped me create a beautiful memory with my kids. I'm so grateful!
Jade Green: I had a very bad experience w/ a Hendricks regional health OB group of women physicians. They let me go home with post partum infection to where I had to seek help in ER and did not take my pre eclampsia seriously with twin pregnancy. I was sent home only to go ER AGAIN with bp in the 190s. I kept having to utilize the ER to replace their care. I felt helpless. I was nervous to try again, scared no one would listen to me. A friend recommended OBGYN of IN. I found Dr Clearly, Dr Gates & Dr Ronco. Dr. Ronco couldn’t have been more kind during my miscarriage. She saw me most immediately for surgery when I needed help, never once acting as if she would turn me away like my last group did. I was not sent away until my problem was resolved. What a relief to find a group of doctors you can trust to resolve your problems & listen to your concerns. I look forward to working with them for a future pregnancy & will be much less stressed now that I know I’m in caring hands.
