Courses Restaurant: what do users think?
Glenn Shay: Great experience!Food: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Don Powell: Excellent opportunity to dine on a variety of unusual meals and help in the training of future culinary and hospitality professionals. Nice ambience. Occasionally live music.Recommended dishes Opera Torte, Cassoulet …More
Daniel Hug: We had a wonderful dinner at Courses tonight. We will be back!
Clair Purtell: Absolutely loved eating at this student run restaurant. What a fun experience for the students and patrons. Overall, really excellent food and service as well. Also, the view of Indy from the restaurant is one you might not get anywhere else in the city.
Kimberly Bass: Dine in: YesMore
D Logan: Great service staff, great food... Superb menu and outstanding foid prep/presentation!
jayne hoadley: Always a beautiful experience!
Jamie Steiner: We came here for my husband’s birthday. The view of the city is amazing. The food was good and our waiter Gerard was great! The real service came at the end. They told us that the credit card machine was down and asked if it was ok to pay in cash. We literally had $0 in cash. He said happy birthday and that it would be covered. We offered to go to Chase to get cash to cover the meal or to at least give a tip. The manager’s response was about as good as it could get, “We always want you to have a great experience here. You going to Chase and coming back to the 13th floor to pay or to give a tip isn’t the experience we want you to have.”We planned on coming back regardless, but this experience will definitely bring us back! Excellent customer-first service!
Ann “AJ” Johnson: Great food, great company, great service, great view!!
Stacy Willis: Wonderful experience with a beautiful view.
Gerald Edward Stites Jr.: Love this place
John Kurton: Wow what a great find. The food was fabulous and well presented by the students of Ivy tech. Excellent quality food and beautifully prepared. The duck rillette was really tasty. The bread basket contained the highlight of the evening for me. A wonderful hazelnut and fig bread served with awesome herby garlic butter. It is not often the bread is the star turn especially alongside all the other tasty treats. The chef was kind and sent us home with a loaf to enjoy later.
Stacey Spencer: Love to try new cuisines here. Pleasant atmosphere and great view of city skyline.
Cathy Willman: I loved everything about this place, it was delicious food, a lovely ambience, and the staff, though learning, did a wonderful job taking care of us, and fed us well. I'll be back!
A Troutman: This was our 2nd time spending Valentine's Day dinner at Courses. My husband and I both agree we are going to make it out yearly Valentine's Day tradition. The students and professors do a wonderful job and the good is always extremely interesting. We have been stunned by some of the flavor that comes out of that kitchen.Cheers to Courses.~ A&J Troutman
Karen Burch: Amazing array of delicious Mediterrean food, personable servers and other personnel. Great experience!
Larry Hearn: Great place and good food
Rama M: The food was good
Garnet Vaughan: Lovely evening. Awrsome view of the city skyline. Great service. Delicious food ... curried pumpkin soup, smoked salmon with masala sauce... yumm.Affordable at $25/pp and the monies help provide scholarships for Ivy Tech Hospitality students.
Kayli Cole: The food was fun and what a great opportunity for students to learn how the restaurant world works! The only thing I had an issue with was the atmosphere. It was freezing cold in the restaurant and is outdated. The views, however, were amazing.
Lexi Gillium: Amazing food!! We went on a world theme night (Thursdays) and it was Middle Eastern. I typically don't go for Middle Eastern because it is lacking in flavor or is overwhelming. The dishes tasted authentic and amazing. A favorite date spot for us now. However, the stafd were very meek and didn't seem to know what to do. They seem scrambled and disorganized. Still a new favorite though!

Vida: what do users think?
Super Moose: My girlfriend and I visited Vida last night to celebrate her birthday. We had a wonderful experience beginning to end. A couple of days after making my reservation, I received a text message asking if we had any food allergies or dietary restrictions, they also asked if we were celebrating anything. I let them know that we were celebrating my girlfriends birthday and provided them with the name. After arriving to the restaurant we let them know we were there and got some drinks at the bar. The bartenders were really great, and the drinks were as well. The staff was communicative on the readiness of our table, and took us to it as soon as it was ready. We were delighted to see that they had printed "Happy Birthday" and my girlfriend's name on our menus, which they provided to us in a neat roll and a bow around it when we were leaving.Frankie was our server, and he was personable, knowledgeable, and all around what you would want out of our a server. The food was some of the best we have ever had, the courses came out at a very good pace and the staff dropping off the food would detail all of the ingredients in a dish as they set it down.We have been to many similarly priced restaurants before, but the food and service at this restaurant were on another level. My sincerest thanks to Frankie and the rest of the staff at Vida for helping make her birthday one to remember.
Toby Davis: This is touted as one of the best if not the best restaurant in Indy. Reservations backed up for months would seem to align with this statement. We love Cunningham Group and have never been disappointed. Provision has been our #1 Indy spot for a few years now, and only other Cunningham restaurants have come even close... until now. You know you're dining at a great establishment when every detail is meticulously thought out. We did the 4 course meal, and we each chose different items. And from the cauliflower to the scallop to the sablefish to the side breads, everything was better than anything you've had anywhere else. I typically gag at the smell of brusselsprouts, yet I ate and enjoyed the sprouts served with the ribeye. The scallop and sablefish were like butter, cooked to perfection, and I don't even know how they cooked the ribeye so perfectly. To top it off, Thomas was fantastic in tips and knowledge and also conversation. We need to visit Provision again soon just to compare, but we will be back to Vida many times.Vegetarian options: Just speak to your server.Kid-friendliness: Wouldn't recommend except for teaching kids about fine dining.Dietary restrictions: They carefully account for any restrictions.
Allison Potteiger: Worth the price.
Nicholas Smith: Very nice meal, can't wait to go back!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Amuse Bouche, Scallop, Ricotta Doughnuts …More
joseph carmer: Truly delicious. Wondeful tasting menu. From the front door through our entire experience, service was top notch. The manager offered us a toast for the birthday we celebrated. Everyone spoke to us by name. The server Tim made us feel very welcome and answered any questions we had. Excellent experience, worth every bitFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Yellowfin Tuna Tartare, Ricotta Doughnuts, Doughnuts …More
Ashlee Nemeth: Was here for an industry wine tasting. Have had dinner here before. Very good food and ambianceFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Tim Hawkins: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5More
Pia Nathani: I had the tasting menu and I can say I was quite disappointed. I would not recommend this restaurant to my friends.Edited to add : The manager/owner was extremely receptive to my feedback. However, my experience at the restaurant remained unchanged.
Parker Sasse: Had an incredible dinner there, and Morena was so kind and knowledgeable about the menu! Thank you guys for a great experience, cheers 🍻Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Maggie Zehren: This was our second time at Vida. The first was a year ago and was fantastic. This time we were not quite as impressed. Service and our server were lovely, no problems there. Food was good though not quite as flavorful as last time. Instead of being served an amuse bouche like we had received last year and the tables around us received this time, we were served a sorbet in between our 2nd and 3rd courses, which was fine but the dessert I ordered also contained the same sorbet. Additionally, we never received any bread for the table, which we had really enjoyed the last time we were there. Maybe we needed to ask for it this time?
Jordan McMeow: Friendly staff, wonderful food.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Beef Tartare, Ricotta Doughnuts …More
Iryna P: It was an unforgettable experience! Delicious food, the duck was to die for!!! Professional and knowledgeable staff. I will definitely come back again.Thank you to the Chef and staff.
Nicholas Musselwhite: Love their vibrant cocktail selections! The food is some of the best in Indy. This is more reserved for special occasions in my book. Love that it is part of the Cunningham group. If you can sit outside can have some noise with traffic, but really enjoyed the outside experience.
Jason Mazza: Vida, is definitely one of the very few upscale restaurants in Indianapolis. Everytime I go I am reminded how good it is. Must visit restaurant!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Ricotta Doughnuts …More
Rolonda Wallace: Loved my dining experience at Vida. The food and wine was amazing. The vibes were immaculate. Morena was an amazing waitress as well. She took really good care of my friends and I.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Gnocchi, Garlic Bread, Amuse Bouche …More
sheena vanhook: TOP FAVORITE restaurant in Indy for a date night or celebrating any occasion. My all time favorite dish is the FOIE GRAS. The RICOTTA DOUGHNUTS are also a top favorite. We always plan a full night dedicated to enjoying each dish with a wine pairing. The experience is worth the time and money. The quality you are receiving is worth the higher end price. Plan an evening and enjoy.Highly recommend
Jen Brown: I took my niece here as a treat during the Devour Indy festival. The restaurant and service was amazing. The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive. I took the waiters recommendation for the scallops and they were the best I've ever tasted. They even had several nonalcoholic cocktails on the menu which I always appreciate. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and I'll be back!Parking: They have a very easy to use $10 valet parking. The entrance is on North Park Street. The valet was a very polite gentleman. 😊
Muhammad Khalifa: I think of this place as the Cunningham Restaurant Group's crown jewel (whether they intended it that way or not) and it remains one of the better eating destinations in Indy (and one of the only tasting-menu-focused ones). Well executed modern New American with a regularly evolving menu. While it's otherwise impossible to pick favorites, the hot ricotta doughnuts have a permanent home on the menu for good reason - do not miss them under any circumstances.
jean-sebastien delfosse: The place is super cozy. You immediately feel you are going to have a good time when you walk through the door. Food is very refined with dishes you don't get everyday (fois Gras, duck,etc...) and you get great advice when choosing the wine that would match best with your food.Congratulations to the teamWe will be back!

Clifford Tinsley: The lemon cheesecake is worth the trip!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Dasha Arestova: The atmosphere was nice, server was very friendly and overall is a good place for a brunch.Got filet Benedict and was not very pleased with poached eggs, the yolk was not runny and there was just a little of the hollandaise sauce on pretty dry filet.
Matthew Vitale: Although beautiful, lemon meringue was bad. White chocolate lavender was quite good but for the price we wouldn’t come back.
Sunny Days: Gallery Pastry Bar may have just made it to my top 10 favorite restaurants in Indy. Everything I've had has been absolutely fantastic 💋 🏻Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Pastries, Desserts, Salmon Toast …More
Anthony: Delicious! Expect a wait on the weekends but there are things to do and see in the immediate area.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Dano Sweetz: Love this place while visiting Indy! Cute n friendly staff, amazing deserts and pastry, and Lavazza espresso!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Josef Schmid: Great brunch. Delicious food and wonderful pastriesFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Kelly Soares: The pastries, coffee and food are great but the service is consistently bad. Only go if you have time to wait…
Maram E.: Only tried the desserts. Had a tiramisu and a mousse. The tiramisu was acceptable. The mousse was stale and tasted old. The place has a nice design and ambience. Service could improve.
Alex Carignan: The food was delicious and the service was quick and friendly. The savory croissant fritters were a perfect appetizer to split between 2 people. The mushroom stir fry was comforting and the red pepper sauce was delicious. The dark chocolate mousse was a perfectly balanced chocolate flavor, not overly sweet or bitter.Vegetarian options: The mushroom stir fry and croissant fritters were great choices

Megan Evans: We stopped in for the first time today (at this location), and were pleasantly surprised by our meals! We ordered the croissant fritters appetizer - these were so good! Almost doughy in the middle which is totally my preference. Next up, I got the croissant B&Gs and hubby got the B&Gs omelette with a mimosa — both were outstanding, and hubs said his mimosa was great. After a stop at the pastry case to get a box of macarons and lavender white chocolate mousse, we left extremely full! Our waitress was super kind, as was the gentleman that brought our food from the kitchen. The host could’ve been more friendly, but we still thoroughly enjoyed our experience and can’t wait to return! Also to note: it is kid friendly! We were able to park the stroller at our table (thank goodness, since we had walked here from the Tesla chargers 10 minutes down the street), and they even had a dedicated kids menu.
Maria Stockdale: Everything was SO YUMMY! Love the place and the atmosphere!Ordered the salmon toast and was bomb! Pastries are so good too! I celebrate my birthday and they gave me a free pastry! 😊 can’t wait to come back!
Andrea: Amazing food
terri Nichols: Recommended dishes MacaronsMore
Jennifer Jordan: We got to participate in their soft opening. Sensational, my husband used the term “other worldly” and toddler approved.
Medha Kulkarni: Gallery Pastry Bar gives off classic Parisian vibes with a touch of Indy style. While it can be quite expensive and attracts a highly posh audience, the pastries are absolutely to die for!I recently had the Vegan Hash which consisted of hash browns or frites, house red pepper pesto, and just about every veggie on the menu. I thought it was good - the flavors were fresh and it was nice to have a vegetarian option. The pastries at Gallery Pastry Bar are truly exceptional. While I can't recall the exact names, I tried a passionfruit pastry and a lavender pastry, both of which were fantastic. I highly recommend them if you have a bigger budget to work with.Overall, Gallery Pastry Bar is a great spot to indulge in some fancy and delicious pastries. While it may be pricey and attract a posh crowd, the quality of the pastries is definitely worth the splurge! (Yes, I took some home!)
