Hilton Garden Inn Indianapolis Downtown: what do users think?
Lisa Lightle: This hotel has been beyond amazing. From the valet to the front desk everyone is so friendly and helpful! This is a perfect location too as everything is within walking distance! We will definitely be back!Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Tiffany Brandell: Beautiful hotel, with great staff, and the rooms were very well kept up! The location is very convenient for everything downtown.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Great view, Quiet …More
Joe sisco: Very nice place to stay, the people are very polite and helpful. One thing that stands out to me is the hotel restaurant, the fried maple glazed chicken with Bacon-mash potatoes was the best meal I have had in a long time. I may schedule a trip through Indy soon so I can experience the food one more time, it was very good and the chef was very friendly and thoughtful and came to ask if everything was alright, excellent.
Michael Holsapple: I would highly recommend this place. We stayed here for a weekend and had a wonderful time. The staff was so friendly and helpful. If you are looking for a place to stay downtown close to everything this is the spot.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Jeremy Miller: 4/12/2023 Update: I still give 5 starsfor all the same reasons.Great location. Close to all sorts of food and nightlife. I've stayed for business and recreation here.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Hailey: Perfect location to walk to everything! There's a parking garage just one block over or you can use valet. Very clean and friendly front desk staff.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
sanjeet chandra garimella: Located just steps away from the iconic monument circle, this Hilton Garden Inn is a great place to stay in Indy. Again, being in downtown you can walk to any and all downtown restaurants, convention center, and other places.Rooms - Amazing, with the exception of bathroom counter, sink, and bathtub, which need to be upgraded a bit.Lobby/Food - Nice checkin area alongside a restaurant which serves breakfast (charged separate), and also has bar/food options. The place also has valet parking at decent rates compared to other downtown hotels, parking garages. The carpet inside the elevator can also be uplifted to maintain standards.Rooms: Nice, well maintained, and amazing views.Safety: In downtown with constant patrolling.Walkability: Can’t beat the distance to convention center, mall, restaurants, coffee places!Food & drinks: Had its own restaurant in the lobby. If not, it’s in downtown - so you chose your cuisine !
Joseph Moore: Fantastic stay here. Hotel is very dog friendly. Very close to plenty of restaurants, the park, and Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Only a 10 minute walk to the arena. Solid breakfast and a very friendly staff around the clock. Will definitely stay here again when we come for a game!Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Great view …More
James Winters: Friendly and helpful staff. Great amenities. This is my new go-to spot for Indianapolis travel.Walkability: Right off the circle. Many attractions and restaurants nearby.

Kaycee Means: So big and clean and amazing. Super nice staff too.
Stargazer: This beautiful and historic building was incredible. Walking distance to some great coffee, parks and restaurants.Valet greeted us in a timely manner. Didn't expect the loud hip-hop music when we entered the lobby to check-in playing through their speakers. Front desk was friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious with a great view of the city.Cons: Breakfast buffet (which was recommended by the front desk) hot food was cold and unappetizing. For $15.95 I was extremely disappointed. But Karen our waitress was super friendly and kept our coffee topped. When I read about the buffet that their past guests didn't care for and the response to those guests that they'd improve upon it, didn't seem to rectify the issue. Quality control is a must for the the most important meal of the day.Only other complaint would be the sheets, pillow cases and bed. Itchy sheets and pillow cases, thin mismatched pillows and lumpy, sunken bed.Overall, I would come back. But avoid the dining room and eat outside of the hotel. Maybe bring my own pillow and pillow case.
Becca Selkirk: Rooms are a little price but the columbine was intown...Food & drinks: There is several good restaurants in walking distance from hotelRooms: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Quiet …More

dan glock (Sheepdog III): Showed up for last minute reservation at approximately 1am.Stood in lobby for 25 minutes, NO ONE WAS THERE TO CHECK IN. Called out, called the phone... NOTHING.Left and went to Holiday Inn across the street. Greeted immediately and had a great night sleep! So much for being a Hilton Honors member???

Mike Bristol: Rooms: The room wreaked of smoke. Stains on the lamp shade. Cigarette holes on the pillow cases. The television didn't work. Ice machine didn't work (5th floor). I stay in hotels about sixty nights per year. This felt more like a Super 8 than a Hilton property.Rooms: 2/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 4/5 …More
Lori Boyd: Very nice place to stay. Not to far from shopping but in a quiet area.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Wm. Les Roberts, II: OK for a nights sleep and a travel stop. I stayed in Room 502 and thought the room was dusty, sheets were stained, and HVAC unit was not working right. There was a very odd musty, stale, smell to the room and in the halls in general, but really noticeable in the room. Some good things were the price point was good, comfortable bed, good breakfast. The lobby was cool too.You can tell they try, it wasn't a horrible stay, and the staff were nice so you can decide if it would work for you. I will add that there is a really cool chandelier when you walk in.
Djakis Coul: Carpet needs to be replaced hotel rooms and hallways have a undesirable smellThe breakfast wasn’t goodRooms: 3/5|Service: 3/5|Location: 4/5 …More
SB 3230: Room was a little dated. Bathroom was nice and clean. Mattress was quite a bit harder than we would have liked. Hotel was nice, secluded location. Indoor pool and hot tub were very cold, no heat at all.Rooms: 3/5|Service: 3/5|Location: 3/5 …More
Chris Lee: This was another great Hilton property that is very well managed. The staff here exemplify customer service. The hotel and rooms are very clean with adequate space. The bed was clean and comfortable. The bar and breakfast areas were great. They have Keurig coffee makers in the rooms which was great. We will definitely stay here again.Rooms: Very clean and comfortable
Dawn S: Reserved at this hotel to use the hot tub. The hot tub wasn't in working order. It wasn't noted on the website is wasn't working. The carpet in the hallways need to be replaced. Room was clean though.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Schmekia Hinton: After taking a shower my sister noticed the water was not draining. So she went to the front desk and asked if we could change rooms. There was no one available to fix the clogged drain so the assistant manager did it himself and cleaned up.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 4/5Hotel highlights Great value …More
Anita Harris-Seals: Pool and jacuzzi issues made the trip boring and not funNoteworthy details: When I called for the pool and jacuzzi they said it was open and working very disappointing that that wasn't true at a Hilton hotelRooms: 5/5|Service: 2/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Luxury …More
Becky Moore: Looks nice from outside and when you first check in but after you get pass the desk you soon realize it needs to be updated. Pool area needs to be fixed. Ceiling is leaking and needs better ventilation. Hot tub not working. Door at pool gets stuck open. 3rd floor hallway carpet has rolls and could use a cleaning. Looks like a hilton that has been forgotten about. Beds are super uncomfortable and lumpy.
Amy Barradas: Older building but well maintained and clean. Not sure why breakfast is not included.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 4/5 …More

Hilton Garden Inn Indianapolis South/Greenwood: what do users think?
Rebecca Call: Typical Hilton garden inn with associated amenities. The rooms were clean and contained an always appreciated the mini fridge. The staff was fine but a little inattentive when I checked in. The person at the front desk was drawing on an ipad and after I was hoping they would notice my standing at the desk and that didn't work I had to raise my voice over the nose coming from the restaurant area. All in all okay, I would stay again mostly because of the location.
Michael Ozvath: Whenever I am in the Indianapolis Metro I tend to stay here, great experience every time! Solid Management team from the top down.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Great view, Romantic, Quiet, Kid-friendly, Great value …More
Heather Kitzmiller: Needs updated but good noise control. Room faced freeway. Didn't notice any noise from it
Justin Lowe: This was by far the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. To start with, every single television in the place had an external IR sensor that only worked sporadically with the remote. I stayed for five consecutive days and every morning I had to report the same chips on the floor in front of the elevator, but they were still there when I left. The bathrooms were in terrible condition, with rusting door frames due to the exhaust fans not working. The soap scum in the bathroom was just disgusting. To make things worse, the mini-fridges had been replaced and didn't fit, causing the whole unit to slide out whenever you opened the door, spilling my dinner on the floor. This is definitely not the kind of experience I expect from a Hilton hotel.
Robert hamm: Very clean and modern. Nice area. Not too far from downtown. Reasonable prices.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Luxury, Quiet, Great value …More
Maguire Ward: Hilton is a company I definitely don’t stray from while traveling and I prefer the HGI brand as much as possible. This property is a run of the mill one with a few good points and one thing that I hope changes asap. Overall the staff are friendly and attentive, breakfast was fantastic (they do abide by the food and beverage credit here for Hilton Gold and Diamond members so breakfast isn’t necessarily free anymore), and it’s located in a great spot with plenty of food around and a Starbucks just up the street. My only complaint really is the dated rooms, I hope a renovation is planned for soon simply due to a few spots in the carpet showing major wear and the furniture simply being outdated and tired looking. Also note that the walk in shower in my room had quite the slippery surface when it got soapy, so be advised! Otherwise this is an good property, with great staff, if in the area again I will definitely be back!
Jared Call: Close to highway but not noisy.Rooms: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Josh: Stayed at this hotel recently and housekeeping came into the room early in the morning when we were in the shower and sleeping. Not the first time this has happened. Emailed the manager and got a generic automated reply. Not a good experience.Rooms: 3/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 3/5 …More
Agnes Briley: They Do NOT have a hot tub. It's been filled in with seating . the pool is kind of warm. For an extra fee you can eat breakfast. If you need a roll away bed that's extra as well..Rooms: 2/5|Service: 3/5|Location: 4/5 …More
Katherine Campbell: Food & drinks: CostlyRooms: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 4/5Hotel highlights Quiet …More
Rana Scott: Great clean , close to a variety of restaurants, & stores . It is absolutely one of the best hotels that had the pleasure of staying a few nights at .Great staff as wellSincerelyM. R. Scott
Frances Meyer: Had MAJOR issues with rooms- water being shut off without warning, water then being left running in room for 10hrs while out for our day causing room to be completely soaked. The GM Sarah was very unprofessional and rude in handling this. Wouldn’t stay at this location again because of how it was handled- a simple I’m sorry would’ve been nice!!
T Square: Great location and quiet. Clean rooms ..rooms are a bit outdated.Rooms: 3/5|Service: 3/5|Location: 4/5 …More
Christina Nelson: We came for the indoor pool for my birthday and a jacuzzi. We went down to swim and there was a sign that said it was closed. The jacuzzi was just a bathtub with jets. Breakfast was not worth it.Food & drinks: Food at the hotel restaurant is like a buffet in the back just sitting under a heat lamp.
Sam Johnson: Will never stay again paid almost $500 for two nights beds are not comfortable at all. You would think for paying almost $500 for the weekend that they would offer free breakfast but no it's almost $13 a person ridiculous. If I could I wouldn't give them any stars. And if you don't ask for your room to be cleaned they won't clean it and you won't get clean towels just a joke not happy at all for the money I paid.

Marissa Cronk: The beds were horrible. My husband and I stayed in a room with our child and my father in law stayed in a separate room. We all agreed that they were one of the worst mattresses we’ve ever slept on. They were EXTREMELY hard. We all had backaches for a few days afterward. The room itself and the hotel was great. The only issue was the mattresses, the #1 reason for a hotel, to have somewhere comfortable to sleep.

Hanna Elliott: Place was very clean spotless nice place overall nice pool nice rooms couple things that caught me off guard though I don’t know what confusion they had in there end we called made a reservation the lady on the phone asked me if my mommy was around to answer the phone said I sounded like a baby … I am a mother myself … like srsly if I’m calling to book a hotel you think I’m 10… and then around 11 the next day the day of our reservation I called asked when the room would be ready she said around 3 most likely a little early because house keeping would be there early same lady 1:45 we went in and she said your room should be ready really soon we where like okay that’s nice usually it’s not until after 3 so we went back in 30 min later she said it’s not ready yet wait another 30 min again back in it’s not 2:45 she said exactly at 3 it will be ready went back in at 3 she said it’s not ready yet sorry so we left went to eat came back it was 3:40 she said “be patient it is not ready yet. SHE SAID 3 then said it’ll be ready early then back and fourth game she was very rude had no patience then when my fiancé went in again she completely ignored me and said just one person right he said no and she put one down instead of 2 it’s crazy I’ve never had someone so rude and disrespectful and for anyone wanting to know her name was mary never had such disrespect from a woman calling me a child she could have just said after 3 instead of playing the back and fourth game she told us to be early cause the room would be ready early she should have just been nice and said just to be on the safe side our check in time is at 3 other then that it was great after she left there was a male working I didn’t catch his name but he was super nice respectful and told us that our room had been ready for a while … and we can come check in so thank you to him it was him and another woman best service I’ve ever had came from those two but to find out our room had been ready “for a while now” is ridiculous but at the end we had very great service this was all on Saturday March 11th is when we checked in so the female and male working at the desk at 4:00 where absolutely great and deserve a raise Mary however does not
Chris K Little: Solid business hotel - efficient and clean.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Quiet …More
Jerry stephenson: It's nice, because it's newer but they have some eerie things here. The picture is a side entrance and it's just a creepy long empty hallway. I was sitting in one of the rooms and noticed the closet fixture that's behind the entry way door. The entire closet shelf fixture is tapered from the top down and you can drop something loose from the top and it gets stuck half way down. There's just to many clashy colors in the place and it wasn't designed very well. Still it's nice and they serve dinner at this place!
Josh Bonzelaar: The room was very clean and updated. The location was great. Close to Hamilton Town Center and Anderson. Lots of shops and restaurants in this area.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Matisse Morrison Sr.: Evening front desk just talks polite but she is very disrespectful. I'm a Diamond Member but I don't feel like one been here a few times and every time I'm here my room is at the end of the hallway and no meal credits are offered...Rooms: 5/5|Service: 3/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Quiet …More
Sarah Kiefer: Convenient stay for a conference at the Wellington. Lobby area seating is on the smaller side, so we moved since conversation back up to the rooms. Next time we'll look into a hospitality suite. Beds were clean and comfy. In-room microwave and fridge were nice amenities.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Quiet …More
Melanie Tennant, Realtor: This property is right of the interstate for easy access. There are several restaurants located nearby. The front desk service was excellent and the room was clean. The is a restaurant and bar in the lobby.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Levi Murdach: Great hotel would come back
The CrimeDog: Nice room. But no streaming services for the TV. Only DirectTv. Come on Hilton, join the 21st century, so we can watch our streaming services.Rooms: 3/5|Service: 3/5|Location: 4/5 …More
James Hankla: This place was overpriced we normally stay at Holiday Inn express and have better service have nicer rooms and have a continental breakfast everything here you had to pay for. I'll never stay at a Hilton again. I would not have chosen this. The company booked it but I had to pay for it and wait for reimbursement whereas they pay for Holiday Inn Express up front. Not sure why they chose Hilton but next time I'll find my own accommodation. Web site said $90 but I was charged $140.00 which included nothing but a bed to sleep in and it felt like it was going to collapse every time you moved
Steven Hus: Can’t say enough positive things about this hotel. we stayed here for the weekend while our house was getting some work done. Jacqueline (front desk) was awesome, and welcoming with our two kids along with the other other shifts. The bar/restaurant staff was awesome too, taking care of little requests like yogurt after hours for our two year old. We also saw the maintenance staff cleaning thoroughly throughout the day which showed because the hotel looked really kept up.Food/drink prices were typical for made to order but not overinflated as some places can be.Definitely recommend this hotel anyone wanting great service where it’s increasingly hard to find at other places.
Laura Bartolomeo: Located just off I 69, this hotel is a jewel. I can rarely claim a room is sparkling but our room was so clean and it was a pet-friendly room with not a bit of odor. We had an extended stay because of water damage in our home so working with insurance housing was complicated at times and the front desk was always so kind and helpful. We ate takeout dinner from the on-sight restaurant and the food was delicious-so far above what I've ever had at hotel restaurants.

Sara Bradley: This is an exceptional HGI property. I stay in them all over the country. Very clean and well managed.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Chantel: Overall, the room was fine. However, when you leave make sure you grab ALL of your belongings and don’t leave anything behind. I left a pair of Bose Bluetooth headphones in a white case that is much bigger than an AirPods case and hard to miss. I know exactly where it was when I left it on the bed right under the pillow on the left side if you’re facing the bed. Can’t miss it when you’re changing the sheets. However, when I called the staff they told me the executive housekeeper did an inspection of the room and didn’t find anything. They said they would check the bedding before they did laundry as it was most likely caught in the sheets. However, they still claim they didn’t find anything even after going through the bedding. I even stayed in town an extra night hoping to come by and grab it as I was told items in lost and found must be grabbed by the executive housekeeper only and then given to the guest. To my surprise, nothing was found. I asked if I could come back and inspect the room again but they told me the room already had guests in it. (This was just a few hours after we checked out) I found this odd that the room already had other guests in it literally right after we left. I understand hotels are busy but it seems strange to book the room that quick and not find a headphones case that you can’t miss. I understand it was my responsibility to grab my headphones, HOWEVER, I am shocked that no one found anything. I don’t by that. I’m not accusing the housekeeping staff of stealing my headphones after they came across them, but I’m just saying be weary of your stuff and make sure YOU do a thorough inspection of the room before you leave. Don’t rely on housekeeping to do it, otherwise you may not get your stuff back. Shoutout to Bose for giving me a discount on a new pair of $300 headphones. Won’t be staying here again and willopt for an Airbnb next time. A complaint / report has also been filed with Hilton.
CrazyGuyTrey: We checked in for one night, room was very clean, comfortable and neat. The staff were absolutely wonderful. Everyone we talked to asked how we were doing, were very respectful, and gave top quality service. They even gave us discounted snacks, a free drink, and free breakfast. Amazing place, highly recommended for any trip.Noteworthy details: Absolutely amazing staff, very kind, great service
Josh Martin: Stayed on 3/31 and 4/1. On 3/31 a storm rolled through around midnight, and water was pouring in our window. So we went and grabbed around 10 towels from the front desk and let the water run in all night onto the towels. The next day Jessica the manager played games and tried saying she couldn’t reimburse us for the day (3/31) because we used a 3rd party booking company. The booking company says she lied and then they called Jessica to inform her she was wrong. Don Hilton the GM hasn’t returned my call to discuss the issue. The hotel knew that room 122 had a major leak in the window (so i’m sure there’s mold in the room) and never fixed the issue. So buyer beware on this hotel.. Pic is attached

Amy Beechy: Nice stay. This property is clean, updated, easy parking, good location, friendly staff. I'll stay again.
