Holiday Inn Express & Suites Indianapolis Dtn-Conv Ctr Area, an IHG Hotel: what do users think?
SNI: First of all the majority of staff are very friendly and helpful. The problems that we faced were with the maid opening the door with a do not disturb sign on the door and waking us up and was very rude. Asked if we were checking out and I told her that we have a late checkout and she goes to the room right next door and was being very loud and banging and the adjoining door between rooms and I finally said something to her about being loud and she didn’t even acknowledge me so I told her that she was rude. Tania was her name and the first day we were there she was vacuuming the hall and banging vacuum off the wall so loud in the hall and I just ignored it . The pool had so much chemicals in it that it was burning everyone’s eyes and you couldn’t even breathe in there. Not only the pool but the jacuzzi as well. I liked the majority of the staff and the location of hotel was awesome being right across the street from Lucas oil stadium. This is my story and I’m sticking to it. Last thing is the beds are so hard and very uncomfortable to point of like sleeping on the floor hard , that’s what the mattress felt like. So if you want to be uncomfortable while you sleep then go ahead and waste your money and let your family inhale the deadly chemicals in the pool and jacuzzi area. thanks for sharing
Myles Away: We have enjoyed our stay here on our first visit to Indinapolis. If you are in town for a Colts game, this hotel is for you. It is literally right across the street from Lucas Oil Stadium. The rooms are pretty standard as far as a holiday Inn express goes. The breakfast was very good, but was quite busy the two days we visited. All of the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful. The parking is a bit annoying, as you pay extra for it, and the lot fills up we noticed. The kids loved the pool and hot tub.
Stan Dobrydnio: Next to lucas Oil Stadium, close to convention CenterTypical IGA hotelRooms: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 3/5Hotel highlights Kid-friendly …More
Nick: Good rooms, decent shower, friendly staff, very good complementary breakfast. There was an odd clicking noise in our room that drove me nuts at night but it might be just the particular room we were in. We were next to a maintenance room and it sounded like that was where it was coming fromRooms: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 4/5 …More
Mary Cottrell: Rooms: Close to Riley's Children's Hospital, Children's Museum and restaurants of all kinds! The room was a good size for me, my daughter and her 5 kids. Would stay again. DefinitelyRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Kid-friendly, Great value …More
Bre Sullivan: Parking situation was awful. The parking garage had human poop. You have to walk through an alley to get there. This is a good location if you need something near the stadium because we could see it right from our window. The hotel itself was clean and staff was polite and hospitable.Breakfast was amazing for a complimentary breakfast. The pool was good sized and fun for kids, and they have a HOT TUB which was nice for mom and dad!Giving 4 stars because we had to pay for parking and it felt very unsafe.
Donna Ussery: Close to Zoo, stadium and Rileys. Excellent place to stay. Very clean. We will stay here again.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More

Next Level Career Services: The hotel's location is ideal-not too far from downtown but in walking distance. The hotel has a few back alleys which can appear to be dangerous. Day one of my stay was good. Day two the free breakfast was a huge bonus. Day three, I was faced with an intruder who came in the back door as I was entering with my two young daughters and walked straight in the hotel...he asked the desk attendant a few unrelated questions then stole snacks from the snack bar/inside open snack area and proceeded to run out of the exit on the first level. We were terrified. The desk attendant was a young lady as well and was so nervous. Day four I received a call at 11:25am informing us that the hot water would shut off at 11:30am for the remainder of the day. This experience was horrifying. I will not return. I called to inform the manager on 1/24 and was told "thanks and we are sorry." I will never return to this hotel.
Jennifer Gaines: Beautiful modern rooms and bathrooms. Very clean, bed is very comfortable. Nice little pantry by front desk and breakfast had many great options. We actually left an item in our room, and they were beyond helpful in trying to locate it for us! !highly recommendedRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Lindsay Burkey: Staff was very friendly, pool area felt safe and clean, as did the rest of the hotel. I would highly recommend staying here! There's also coffee, iced lemon water, and tea set out in the lobby consistently which I LOVE. The breakfast had amazing choices for both junk food lovers and health food lovers. We will be back!
Gary Mullikin: Amber at the front desk was pleasant and helpful, I had made a horrible mistake, booked my group at the wrong hotel further away thinking I had booked here, she was able to make sure we were taken care of, absolutely loved how she was able to take care of everything, smooth and professionalHotel is great, right next to stadiumThank you Amber !!!!!!!!
Daniela Menzel: Geräumiges Zimmer, bequeme Betten, Frühstücksbuffet mit guter Auswahl, gute Lage. Viele Sehenswürdigkeiten sind gut zu Fuß erreichbar.
Dave R: This was a great location within walking distance to the convention center. The easy of being able to park here was a great benefit too. The breakfast in the morning is very, very good too! Those cinnamon rolls are awesome!Rooms: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Kirby Johnson: It is a beautiful property and a good location ( just good, not great ). Kind of expensive....But this was without a doubt the worst breakfast I have ever had at a holiday inn. Rock hard biscuits with no gravy, tasteless sausage, standing water in eggs and watered down juice. Had to go buy breakfast
Mark LoGiurato: Friendly service in a nice clean hotel. Rooms are nice sized, and the typical hotel breakfast actually ahs good healthy choices.
Kurt Johnson: Customer service needs some work, was not rude but not willing to put effort into revolving a simple issue. Im a Diamond Elite and may start booking Hilton more for my employees.Rooms: Odd numbered rooms have a ton of road noise.

Sue Calabrese: Wonderful accommodations & customer service!Safety: Great locks security guards...plenty of staff aroundFood & drinks: Delicious breakfast spread
Kelly Nelson: I was there on Military orders, stayed 1 night and was charged for two nights. Mistakes happen but when I called two times to inform the staff, they were not helpful and acted as if they were clueless. John and another associate disregarded my issue and I had to call my bank for them to dispute it. Both associates completely disregard me and acted as it was not a big deal. I would never recommend or stay at this location again.
Sherry Knoll: Everything time I have been here the worker are really friendly .Rooms: Very cleanFood & drinks: When you book a room and how they say free breakfast well this hotel is the only one that has breakfast the way it should be .

N N: We stayed three days. Only got fresh towels and the trash removed once. The night shift girl that checked us in was very nice. Every other staff we encountered were rude or dismissive. Pool was closed even though the website still had it listed as a amenity.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 3/5 …More
Sarah & Robert Pierce: I am currently staying at the Holiday Inn Express on Victory Drive. My stay has been nothing but awful from the moment we walked in. The front desk staff did not have a room ready upon arrival (even though check in is at 3pm) and we arrived after 6pm. The front desk staff member was on her personal phone and did not greet us or promptly serve us. The pool in the hotel was closed which is the #1 reason for our stay. Our children were extremely disappointed. When I asked if I could cancel my room and get a refund, the front desk staff told me "you'd have to talk to a manager". So I asked to speak with a manager and I was told there wasn't one on site. I was not given a means of contact. I found the business card with this email address myself. When I asked for a luggage cart I was told "if you don't see one in the lobby then we don't have one" while this staff member again was on her personal phone. The sink in my room is not working. The lobby bathroom changing table is broken and my toddler nearly fell off of it while I was trying to change her diaper. The paper towel dispenser was broken and empty in this same bathroom. I reserved 3 rooms tonight and am beyond displeased with my stay. If it weren't for it being late and my family being hours from home, with young children, I would have walked out. However, at this point with nearby hotels full (we called 4 other hotels), we had no other choice but to stay.
Debra Stier: A working whirlpool is important to us as we were driving from three states away.I called the day before and asked if the whirlpool was working. I was told yes. The next day when we arrived, I asked the girl at the desk if the whirlpool was working, she said yes. We settled in and went down to the whirlpool. It wasn't working. I went to the same girl at the desk. I said "you said whirlpool was working". She said no whirlpool is down. I said I asked you. She said she thought I said pool. My husband has a bad back, so a whirlpool would have relaxed his back as usual. We would have looked for a different hotel with a working whirlpool. The next night we went down to the pool and that was closed for maintenance. Why were we not told about the scheduled pool maintenance? My husband worked for a Ramada for 25 years, head maintenance. All guests were told at the time of reservations of the scheduled maintenance or if it was not working. We could have went somewhere else.
Cassie Vander Meulen: Asked for crib the week of. Got there to be informed it was broken. Thanks. What do I do with my 1.5yr old?? Also NO Pool towels so they gave me (and my 6’7” husband) the “hand towels but here’s some extra”. Smh
Christy Lynn: Very nice hotel, friendly service, heated indoor pool, hot tub but it was closed for maintenance, excellent free breakfastRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 4/5Hotel highlights Quiet, Great value …More
K. Phillips: Felt like I was at homeRooms: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 4/5 …More
Kevin Lavergne: Very nice rooms we stayed at this particular Holiday Inn because they have a jacuzzi tube this was a large 2 person tub. There are many nice restaurants in the area.Rooms: Large room with jacuzzi tub for 2 people.Nearby activities: Many things to see do in indy.
Thomas Beissmann: Nice hotel front desk ppl very nice breakfast was good the hot tub was very nice and the pool was also heated and working very happy with the stay
Duane Pullen: Dirty wash cloths on shower curtain rod.Rooms: 2/5|Service: 3/5|Location: 3/5 …More
Tiffany Davis: I find it comical they have you sign a paper saying you will be kicked out if you smoke weed at the hotel. However the employees "friends" are out front on a bench smoking it when you walk in. Then proceed to hang out in the lobby and stink the place up. They advertise an arcade yet it an empty room with only an ice machine. The room next to us was left propped open our whole stay. Very odd.
Kay W: Had the worst experience, called the hotel, they sent me to a 3rd party to make reservations. When we got there they gave us the wrong room. They told us it wasn’t on them, that the 3rd party booked the room. Ok, we can we pay extra and get the right room? NOPE! They wasn’t at all helpful. My husband was upset. They ended up calling the cops on us. We didn’t get any of our money back!!!!! The room stunk like feet, the counter was dirty with coffee stains. Only good thing about this place was they used Dove products. The front desk people was very rude and was smirking the whole time. Woke up this morning and had another 100$ charge on my debt card, have no clue why. We didn’t even stay in the room! Do not stay here.

Natasha W.: This hotel gives off the fakest persona I’ve ever seen for hotels that want to be something there not. First off they’re advertising a pool that hasn’t been open in 2yrs (since Covid first started). Then there are dirty/dingy a%$ walls, curtains, lamp shades, and carpet throughout (I took pictures of this dirty sh%t) & the best part of it all, baby ROACHES crawling around the hotel room (we spotted 2 in our bathtub.. & my aunt saw one on her AC vent) — we slept one night (just b/c we couldn’t get refunded for the 1st night), requested a refund the rest of the days & checked out early the next morning to stay somewhere else!
Tanya: Neither myself nor anyone from my company will be staying here again. It has been nothing but trouble. I booked rooms through our travel agency and when my guys got to this hotel, they said the rooms weren’t paid for. Two of my guys paid with their personal cards and I sent the other two to another hotel. Then they had the audacity to try to charge me a cancellation fee which they refused to remove. After jumping through hoops I got it removed. Now they are not reversing the charge for one of my guys rooms saying it wasn’t paid for. I’ve been traveling for this company for 6 years and have never experienced anything like this. I will never book another room at any holiday inn ever again just to avoid the trouble.

Anderson Elevator Drilling 217 264 1855: Being a veteran that's served in two braches, I fought for our freedoms and it's slowly being taken from us. Tried to check in Tuesday Nov. 2nd at the Western Drive location in Indianapolis. Was informed I couldn't pay for my stay with American cash. $400 and a credit card for deposit in hand and denied. I will never stay a an IHG establishment again. What a disgrace to America.
Josue Olivarez: Room 424Stayed one night, two lights didn't work and had to take a cold shower. Hot water wasn't working or the room coffee maker.Rooms: 1/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Backyard Grill Master (Jon Walker): Never will I stay at a Express with more then 3 floors! That's just me. This Hoilday Inn Express had one of the cleanest room I've ever stay inn. But it goes down hill from there. The 3 key amenities are a clean room great bed and a HOT shower, the hotel delivered on two of the 3, but missed out on the HOT shower even after talking to the front desk. The breakfast should be a home run st the Express dirty tables haves the eating in the eating area brings the sore down from a 10 to a 5, as for the breakfast 10 out 10. Short staff so no daily housekeeping I understand so I won't take points off for this. So for my stay I can not have the hotel a overall score of two (2) stars.

Rachael Carroll: What a great experience. My husband had to call the front desk one time to complain about a family above us stomping and screaming so loud it sounded like they were coming through the floor. The man at the front desk immediately went up and took care of it; it was never an issue again. The staff was so kind and the breakfast was better than at any other hotel that we have stayed at. Will definitely be coming back when we are in the area.
Stacy: Can you leave no stars? Live bed bug on the bed spread in one room, dead bed bug in another, 3rd room urine stains on mattress right below the sheet. We immediately left after that.Hotel refuses to refund, staff at hotel told IHG that an inspector was out to investigate at 10:30 pm on Saturday evening. (Really?!?!) IHG will not investigate further.
James West: Had to listen to what sounded like the ceiling crashing in from kids upstairs running jumping screaming on the floor above us. There was also a dog in a couple of rooms down that barked all day and all night. They hardly had anything for breakfast as supposed food co. Was on strike. Probably the worst place I have ever stayed in my life.
Miguel Alvarado: Very clean hotel. Very nice staff. Not far from downtown.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More

Sarah Juerjens Bland: We stayed here due to the location- near many restaurants and the Children’s Museum of Indianapolis. The location is the only reason for any stars.Avoid IHG and stay at Hilton Hotels!1. Reserved 1 night to stay. After speaking with friends we were traveling with, we decided to add on another night. I called the ihg reservation line as provided in the email to add Friday night to ensure it would be booked in the same room.2. I go to digitally check in and notice my room isn’t what I reserved. Called the front desk and was told I have a different room reserved each night plus the hotel is overbooked so we would have to stay in a smaller room on Friday, check out at 11am on Sat, and wait to check in at 3pm on Sat. I called the reservation line to see if they could fix their mistake. They informed me this was all they could do, but we could leave any items needed at the front desk while we were out and stay in the lobby as long as we needed.2. Since the wrong room was booked by reservations, our room was smaller than expected for our family. We ate pizza with our friends in the lobby since we didn’t have room in our room. Our kids made a mess so we offered to clean it up. Instead of the front desk cleaning the area or asking cleaning staff to do so, they gave us some napkins and a broom to clean it up ourselves. No offer to help us and no disinfecting solution for the tables we ate at.3. On Saturday we checked out before 11am and asked to keep our things at the front desk. We were told there was no available refrigerator to keep any items that needed to remain cold, so we had to throw those out and use a cooler in our car for our child’s medication. We asked to be notified if early check in was available and were told there wasn’t an early check in list but the hotel could call if that was available.4. We took our kids to the Children’s Museum. Everyone was getting tired and our little ones needed naps badly. I still had no call from the hotel for early check in availability so I assumed that wasn’t an option. We decided to cut our trip short and go home. I called guest relations and informed them of our experiences. I asked if I cancelled now if I could please not be charged as we would have stayed had we a place to crash right now if reservations hadn’t booked us incorrectly. They said they called the hotel while I was on hold and I could not cancel my room without being charged the full amount, but the general manager of the hotel could call me in 48 hours.4. We took our kids bowling to try to pass more time before we could check in. We decided if we had to pay for the room for the night then we should tough it out and use it. As we are paying our check, I receive a phone call from the hotel front desk. The woman asked if we were still staying the night. I told her that I called guest relations and was told we would still be charged in full if we cancelled tonight so we were trying to pass time until we could check in at 3pm (it was 3:30pm at the time). The woman said she would cancel our room and we would not be charged for this night. I said with everything that’s happened I want a confirmation email showing this in writing. She said she would send it and I have yet to receive that or the refund that is supposedly being given for Saturday night. We stayed at Hampton Inn our last stay, near the Colts stadium, and it was wonderful. I highly recommend avoiding IHG hotels and staying at Hilton hotels!
ETHAN SMARTINI: Rooms were very clean and pretty roomy in my opinion. Bathroom was small and it felt smaller considering the door opened into it and not outside of it, but it gets the job done! We asked them to fix one of the TVs two days in a row but it never got fixed, that's my only negative. Everything was good!Rooms: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 5/5 …More

Dé Soares: Very polite staff, perfect breakfast, everything very clean and smells great!!! I would stay there 1000 more times!
Cynthia Varela: Near Indianapolis downtown. There are other businesses within walking distance, such as Starbucks, Gatsby pub and grill, Jimmy Jhons, Jack's donuts, and Hot Box pizza. The breakfast included is OK.When I came back the second day, the bed wasn't made even though the cleaning was done.I couldn't use the indoor pool.I saw a guest with a small dog, and that made me think they are pet friendly but not sure though. The rooms have a microwave and a small fridge. Wide TV cable options including Disney Channel.A good option for a short staying.Rooms: During the night I stayed, the bed wasn't made.Nearby activities: Near Indianapolis downtown
Jackey Lee: Nice decoration, but terrible service

Holiday Inn Express & Suites Indianapolis W - Airport Area: what do users think?
brianna adams: Worst experience I've ever had. We came to celebrate my daughter's birthday with two families. We picked this place because of the pool and hot tub. It was 60° in the pool room and the water was freezing. When we asked management about it they told us it was 85°. The hot tub is broke but instead of owning up to it, management told us "it was a liability to make it warmer". The kids got in the pool and, within 30 minutes, had blue lips. I pulled them out, and they were all shivering. When another family complained about cold water, the front desk asked them if they wanted some ice for it. Our room smelled like mold and was falling apart. The supervisor was aware of several families being upset and decided to leave, making it impossible to issue a refund without dealing with corporate and handling it myself. Customer service was nonexistent, and this was a horrible representation of a Holiday Inn. The beds were also terrible.Wanted to give an update on the status of my refund. My family was there for all of 2 hours before packing up and asking for our money back. Due to the supervisor leaving, I called back on Monday for a refund. He informed me I won't receive a refund because our room was used. I called corporate who told me they can only issue me points towards a future visit with their company.
Shalonda Pless: Room 220.The hotel was close to the airport, which was awesome. They have shuttle service to the airport, which was terrific. Their driver was early and super friendly. The young lady at the front desk was an absolute joy. She answered all of my questions and helped me decide the right time to come down for the shuttle.Unfortunately, there was some construction happening that day. It would not have been an issue if they weren't still drilling or hammering after 9 pm. The room was clean. The bathroom light/vent sounded like utensils caught in a garbage disposal, so I showered in the dark. The lighting fixtue (well, if you can call it that) in the bathroom had a drilled hole on the part that was attached to the ceiling, but there was a gaping hole on the other side. Then there was the bed, which was hard, but I understand some people like that. The comforter was super thin, which takes away from getting comfy. I was in bed watching TV and kept hearing buzzing. I had my phone charger plugged into the lamp on the right side of the bed and realized that the buzzing/ crackling was coming from the plug outlet on the lamp. I tried the other charger to make sure it wasn't just my charger. Still sizzling like a fly zapper. The air conditioner's cover over the controls was broken. The unit was loud.Room 220 needs some TLC, an electrician, "maybe" a spackle guy. Basically, upgrades are needed.Rooms: Needs to only put guests into the upgraded rooms or give them the heads up that they're getting a not-so-great room.
Cory Waldbillig: Fairly close to the airport, service was welcoming and accommodating. Rooms were clean but a little dated and run down.Rooms: 3/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 4/5 …More

Jose Remarez: If you travel for work and having a hotel with a fitness center is a big factor on where you stay, then DONT stay here. 5 sets of weights, 1 bike, 2 treadmills and elliptical is what makes up this gym.
J E: Very outdated rooms. Currently remodeling, but where we were was definitely old.The mattress was rock-hard. I'm not picky about mattresses in general. I can sleep on most mattresses and be comfortable with most the others being at least okay. This one though - wow. It was so hard that it was like laying on the floor with a blanket under you and that's it. I honestly don't know how you make a mattress that hard.Breakfast was the typical Holiday Inn Express offering, except it wasn't prepared well or monitored. The scrambled eggs were overcooked - dry and brown. The juice machine was empty on one of it's selections, and we had to ask 3 times before someone tended to it. The bananas were way past what most people would eat - just throw them away; no one is going to eat them. If you're not going to have reasonable fresh fruit just don't put the bowl out. No one wants to peruse the compost pile for breakfast. The sausage links and turkey sausage patties were fine - the normal. They had a couple flavors of regular yogurt; there was no Greek yogurt.Rooms: Old and outdated.Food & drinks: They sell water bottles for $2 each, and sodas for $4 each.

Jpl: We're nice people and excellent service. Going through room renovations, which I'm sure will look fantastic if you compare what they have done to the lobby/breakfast area. Nice size indoor pool. My only suggestion would be to upgrade the workout room. The treadmill, bike, and elliptical machines are not good quality and some are not hooked up. For the price, you can't beat it. A 2 million miler on American, so experienced in all types of stays. From the last bad reviews, It appears they have improved their service. Parking is fine, and I didn't hear any traffic or automobile noise!
Kathrine Gonzales: Arrived in the room to find blood stains on multiple pillows and black spots on the sheets. Didn't seem clean at all
Kennard Young: This hotel has everything me and my family were looking for. Big, clean, comfortable, bed and room. It has a huge clean heated pool, which is great especially during the wintertime in Indy. They have breakfast accommodations that includes everything from cinnamon rolls to waffles to cereal and even turkey sausage. I appreciate the manager and sever for thekr kindness.
Earl Morse: I arrived at this hotel late on 30 Jan 2023. Tracy greeted me with a warm smile and was interested in me as a person, not a reservation number. "How was your trip? Where are you heading?" These additional questions gave her insight into what I needed that night and the next morning. Since I was catching a flight, she gave me the FREE airport shuttle schedule and said I could park my vehicle there on the lot for FREE while I was gone! I returned today and, despite her being swamped at the desk by several people checking in, she greeted each one with a warm smile and AS A PERSON. She asked if there was anything specific I needed? I JOKINGLY said, "Since it's Valentine's Day, a jacuzzi would be nice for my wife and I." She upgraded our room at no additional cost. Tracy is the most customer-centered person I have met in a very, very long time. She even gave my wife and I a tiny Valentine's Day bag filled with chocolates. It was obvious she made them up before coming into work. Despite the construction/renovation on the 4th floor, you wouldn't know it. The hotel was very clean, friendly and the staff are warm and accommodating beyond what I ever expected. The cost of airport parking for 2 weeks and the great free breakfast (cinnamon rolls are fantastic) MORE than paid for the cost of the hotel room on both nights. THANK YOU!
Linda Boop: Our daughter was hospitalized for 28 days at Indiana University Hospital. We decided to stay a few miles out as downtown is expensive and there is a charge for parking. We chose Holiday Inn Express near airport, and I'm so glad we did! The staff went above and beyond to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Would highly recommend this hotel.
Brooke Langley: Poor customer service. The concert we were supposed to go to at 8 seconds was postponed within just a couple of days before the event. As soon as I saw the concert had been postponed, I reached out to the hotel to ask for a refund and/or to move the reservation to the new concert date. They wouldn’t provide a refund or even move the reservation date. Very disappointed, especially when it was completely out of my control with what happened to the event we were supposed to be attending. Will not be booking any more rooms here. Very disappointed with the director of sales, Manny.

Aileen Maltese: The hotel was nice. The staff was nice. They are very big on getting you to check out on time which is 11am. At 11am they were knocking on our door asking us if we planned on leaving. We extended to 12. At 11:50 they were knocking on our door as we were actively leaving.Otherwise it's your standard hotel breakfast, bed that works for a night or two but definitely won't be comfy for more than that. The towls are rough. Not soft at all. But we'll probably stay here again next time we wind up in Indy

Holiday Inn Express & Suites Indianapolis North - Carmel, an IHG Hotel: what do users think?
Chad Thoms: Found everything to be above expectationsSuper clean roomsBathrooms stocked with soap and shampooPools was great and the pool hrs was awesomeStaff was friendlyBreakfast was GREATRooms: Super clean and well stocked bathroomsFood & drinks: Breakfast was awesome
Valerie Kuhns: Got charged for a night I did not reserve or stay at because I “didn’t check out”. Management has not called, or offered to work with me to dispute this charge. AVOID THIS PLACE!!!Rooms: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 1/5 …More
Tara: Out of all the Holiday inn Express & suites we stayed at on our recent trip this one was the best! This was by far the best breakfast location, the hotel was clean, and the staff was friendly! Seems like a nice location too, close to lots! Highly recommend!!Rooms: Nice size, clean, options for beds, sofa beds, suites, etc.Noteworthy details: Pool has lift for wheelchair accessibly
Courtney Henthorn: Traveled to the Carmel Indiana location with our sports team and our rooms electricity and heat went out for 2 hours. Room got extremely cold. I called to speak to the manager about receiving a refund for the day since we were without basic necessities Kendra Kearns, the group sales manager called me back and was extremely condescending. She said she would not issue me a refund because no one else in our group complained. I told her that not everyone in our group lost power and heat. Again, I asked to be refunded for not having basic necessities for two hours. In a condescending tone Kendra said “and what basic necessities exactly were you without” I said “umm electricity and heat?!” Kendra replied, sorry I cannot issue you a refund because no one else in your group complained. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Have stayed at many Holiday Inn Expresses with amazing experiences. Carmel Indiana sadly doesn’t have the caliber of manager that most locations have apparently.
wendy knau: Check in was confusing. Staff appeared to be poorly trained. They held the full fee for the room, even though I booked with points. Normally a small fee of $30 is held for incidentals. The place had way too much scent...it appears they were covering up an odor.

Angelo Serra: Pretty standard Holiday Inn with easy on/off the highway. The rooms are standard for a Holiday Inn and clean. The rooms were quiet and the bed pretty comfortable. I feel this may be an updated hotel as the floor seemed a little creaky at times. Our room was equipped with a small refrigerator, a microwave, and a single-serve coffee maker with pretty standard coffee. The front desk staff was very nice, check-in was easy and very quick. The included breakfast was pretty average - cereal, scrambled eggs, crispy bacon, biscuits and gravy, make-as-you-go pancakes, yogurt, coffee, juice, milk.
Helen Sims: The floor was creaky but the housekeeping staff was great! I didn't expect my room to he cleaned everyday but it was. Bed was made, towels were replaced. It needed a freezer but was sufficient for 3 days.
Patrick Hardin: Great hotel with large rooms. Breakfast was great, and even has a pancake machine which is great for the kids.Safety: While this is on a main street, everything felt very safe and the area feels very quiet and safe when driving around. There are several nice major chain stores nearby if you need anything, as well.
Frederick struckmann: Was told very rudely by breakfast attendant kitchen was closed at 6 am. Told her that's okay I just getting a cup of coffee. She told me no I could not take a cup. Then a little while later she was outside the front of hotel making out with her girlfriend in the way of front doors. When checking out me and another guest waited 15 minutes for front desk attendant to come back to front desk from there break outside to walk past us with no acknowledgement to go in back and play on his phone for another 5 minutes before coming out front to help us. This hotel needs better management and staff.

trinity howell: We have two toddlers and we got a complaint from someone underneath us that there’s too much walking/noise. The woman at the front office called to ask what we can do about that and we explained that we can just make two toddlers sit down and she replied with “they can’t have unhappy customers”. We decided to leave because there’s nothing else we could do about the walking/playing. The women had 0 empathy or apologies as we left. Also the mini fridge didn’t keep a cold temperature in our room and our food ended up spoiling after a few hours.
Hussain Muammar: Some updates needed, however the room was big and clean. Breakfest was horrible. I didn't eat due to the eggs looking like rubber even though they just put them out. Overall decent stay, the pillows were way too soft. I kept waking up and had some neck pain in the morning.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 4/5 …More

Mark Smith: Rooms are clean and comfortable. The hotel is very well maintained and beautifully decorated. The staff was all very friendly and helpful. Good variety of delicious foods for breakfast. On the down side, the elevator wasn't working through our stay, so running up to the third floor all the time wasn't fun. But free cardio I guess? The layout of the bathroom is a bit odd, with a shower that always wets the floor in front of the toilet. Need to put in shower doors, or figure out a better curtain situation. I would love it if the hotel had more USB plugins in the room. It's a wonderfully convenient feature I find in some nicer, newer hotels. Sometimes they are on the base of lamps, or extra plugs on the clock. It doesn't take a lot to put a couple in the room.
J P: Been at this hotel twice now. Definitely will be my last stay here. Was here for work both trips. First trip was better than the second. First trip my room came with a mini fridge, microwave and a very outdated tv and ac/heat unit. I could not get the heat to be at a steady temperature the entire time I was there. Had it set super low and I woke up at about 3:30 am to my room probably 80+ degrees. Had to turn the AC on the rest of the trip even though it was below 25° outside. The hallways of the hotel speak for them selfs. Walls patched up all over the place. Dirt and stains all over the walls. The carpet in the hallways are absolutely disgusting. Hotel gets very very loud. There’s constant doors slamming and people yelling in the hallways. Would get woken up very early in the morning due to just doors slamming and other people. The walls are super thin. They have the heat absolutely blasting in this place. The stairwells are like 80+ degrees. And parts of the hallways were also extremely hot as well.My second stay here was probably the worst. My room smelled like cigarette smoke. The floors weren’t very clean. And my shower would not get hot. Not even warm. The water was ice cold. I had one warm shower while I was staying here. And the other three times I had showered the water was ice cold. When I told the front desk about the shower. He had told me that they just got the part in for that room. Which makes me wonder why I was given this room having them known that the shower wasn’t in proper use. The fire alarm also went off while I was here. There was no fire. But everyone evacuated to be let back in ten minutes later. Also this room didn’t come with a fridge like my first one did. The showers in both rooms I had are very outdated. The chairs/desk in both rooms were very uncomfortable and not very convenient to work at. The desk sits very tall and the chair doesn’t reach the height of it just making working there uncomfortable. And I’m tall so I can only imagine someone shorter than me trying to use the desk.Overall I won’t be back here again. Staff was very nice both stays. No complaints about them. But this place needs some work.

Austin Young: There was a great deal of noise all night and early (6am) in the morning that wasn't addressed.Nearby activities: Great places to eat within walking distance.
Catrina Simonds: This hotel salvaged our trip to Indiana when our first hotel was a big let down when the "free hot breakfast" was not exactly what we expected. Holiday Inn Express was on point with their free hot breakfast. It was very good and had lots of options to choose from. Room was very spacious and staff was friendly and helpful.Rooms: Very spacious and I really liked the layout.Nearby activities: Plenty of shopping options surrounding the area and it was right by the interstate which is always helpful when traveling and needing to stay centrally located to family and other options.Safety: Very safe location in my opinionWalkability: Walking distance to Walmart next door and other shopping across the streetFood & drinks: Free hot breakfast from 6 - 10 am every day. Free coffee in the rooms as well.

Ashley Haug: The bed was as hard as rock, felt like we were sleeping directly on a box spring! There was no regular chair to sit in other than an office chair. Lights in the bathroom were confusing. Appeared they were short staffed at breakfast as only one guy was working and items were running out. Very congested and uncomfortable to get your food.Rooms: 2/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Great value …More
