(this is a $12 item that Caplingers only charges $1.50 a piece for) The food provided was the Children’s Platter with green beans and macaroni with cheese. The dasher somehow mishandled the food and the mac and cheese were mixed with green beans. However, the fried chicken wings were delicious! Always full of flavor and fried to perfection.

Kent: Ordered the rib tips with Mac and cheese, collard greens. Added meatloaf also. For the portions u get the price is ridiculous, the rib tips were all fat we literally got 2 bites of actual meat. The skinny tiny portion of meatloaf was a real joke. This place is poorly ran. We spent 34.00 total. Save your money or go elsewhere. We had to go home and cook another meal in addition to the one we paid for. Kids size portions. I don't understand all the hype about this place. No stars in my review. I'm very honest in my reviews and review a lot of places but this place is absolutely the worst I've been to as far as money and portions. I actually left a message for the manager to call but didn't get a phone call back so I felt it necessary to go ahead and post a review. They had every chance to return my call. This demonstrates poor management and the they don't care attitude. I will say the people who waited on us were very nice. Lastly the mac and cheese along with the collard greens weren't very impressive. The mac and cheese was probably kraft or aldi brand and the collard greens were probably out of the can, garbage or left over for a few weeks. Very poor nasty trifling food.

Sheree Adams: I been living in Indy since 2017 and the 1st place I was invited to to eat was kountry kitchen I fell in love with the smothered pork chops gravy potatoes and lemonade in 2019 unfortunately the restaurant burned down which cause them to relocate I have since visited the new location and the taste and texture of the food has changed you get smaller portions and it just not the same I guess the cooks went elsewhere because they sure didn't show up at the new location.

Dashay Avance: First off, I ordered on Uber eats because it was a promotion and the food looked good. I like trying black owned soul food places to support. Anyways, this food was HORRIBLE! And it had nothing to do with the delivery because I got priority delivery. The dressing and chicken was dry as hell, ordered the 2 meatloaf dinner and got only 1 , the Mac and cheese literally had no cheese and was dry; not gonna lie I didn’t even wanna eat it! John Smith: Went into the restaurant with a total of 4 guest, customer service was awful, the soda machines were inoperable, the food was served cool, not even Luke warm, and the cornbread was extremely salty. One of my guests indicated that it was the absolute worst experience she had ever encountered and that she would never return. I sincerely pray that they develop a spirit of excellence and operate with their customers in mind over profits.
Aaron Michael: I'm sorry but everything I had tasted horrible. Im not even a picky eater but the dressing taste like somebody used it as toilet paper...if you know what I mean. Then my pork chop was SO DRY I had to drench it in bbq sauce to eat it. The macaroni wasn't that horrible but also not great. Idk if it was just a bad day...but not worth $40 at all.
Planet Rock: I will neverrrrrr order food from this place again. I don't mind paying high price for good food, but nothing i ordered tasted good.... Lets start with the dressing..it tasted and looked like wet white bread with no seasoning, and had a metallic taste to it. Greens beans were so salty i couldn't even eat them, and the baked chicken looked like slop and was a little under cooked for my taste. Will not be returning.🤮

The atmosphere was a little busy because I arrived with my mother around 9:00 am. So, if you want to visit this restaurant please come early! Also, the customer service was amazing, and the server who serve our meals was nice and friendly! Lastly, this restaurant also has a lunch menu as well. I highly recommend coming to this restaurant!

Amelia Knopf: I hadn’t been to Tinker Street since The Before Times. It was every bit as magical as I remember. I don’t take food photos so you’re left to your own devices to imagine perfection. Went with friends, ate a metric ton, and everything was perfect. The fan favorites included: fried Korean mushrooms, pork something or other, pea risotto, ricotta donuts, and the bartender. Bartender was clutch.
Robin Thoman: We've enjoyed the restaurant many times before, often with friends. Each visit has been enjoyable and the food delectable. This B-Day visit was no different.I was disappointed and surprised to see an extra surcharge of 4% for back of house gratuity added. I deducted that forced gratuity from my typical 20% tip. As this is not customary in Indianapolis, it would be best to make every patron aware when reservations are made. This is the ONLY restaurant I've been charged this premium. If the "house" can't pay their kitchen team adequately from their gross receipts, they should charge more for the menu items. You might call me naive but our $220 dinner/$50 entrees (less tip) should easily afford the excellent back of the house team. Owners savings on the site, parking, the interior finish and screened pati dining should leave plenty of gross income after fair pay.
Ryan Crossley: Our service was not good at all and the food was SO MEDIOCRE. To start we asked to sit on the patio by the windows, but they sat us in the middle area even though no one was there. I had to ask our server the off menu specials which I shouldn't have to do. Tinker street is known for their off menu specials, and every table she served I heard the table ask as well.I ordered the mushroom hot pot, it tasted like hot water. No flavor at all. I added mushrooms to mine and they were 18 dollars extra. I wish my server would have told me because it was shocking when I got the billMy boyfriend got the pizza which had a really flavorful sauce but that was the only pro. He also got mushrooms added to the pizza because it was jusg cheese. Again 18 dollar charge.I got a spicy marg it was very good.I told my server it would have been nice if she would have told us the mushrooms added to the meal would have cost us 36 dollars.I was so disappointed with this place because I have heard nothing but great things. I will not be going back and I will never recommend anyone to go.

But I love steamed mussels so this was a good surprise. It was delicious.For dessert, if you have never tried it, try the donuts. You get 4 good sized donut holes and a very coffee tasting espresso sorbet on the side with chocolate sauce drizzled on the plate. The donuts are made in house and are possibly the best you will ever have. You really can't go wrong with it!One thing that I wasn't too excited about was the Pomelo cocktail. It was way too sweet. It is supposed to be a grapefruit vodka based cocktail but I could barely taste the bitterness of grapefruit from the sweetness. I still finished it because it tasted good but it just was not what I was prepared for at all. I feel like that needs to be made much less sweet or a warning put next to the description. :)

The noise level is a little too high but it was just. If you go I’d request a booth downstairs it seems more open and comfortable than these pushed together tables but that doesn’t bother other people as it does me. Anyway overall a solid 4 stars. They also gave my daughter a free desert for her birthday and that actually read the notes and knew it as her birthday so for I was appreciative. I would probably return and ask for a booth. The hamburger was $17 with a side so I think that price is a steal for a quality hamburgerOh and GET THE MAC AND CHEESE!

Elaine Arias: I have been to this restaurant at least 15 times with my fiancé and the food is amazing but the management is absolutely horrendous and unprofessional. If you go in there and there’s a manager name, Sarah, then I would walk out immediately because she is very discriminative. I highly recommend that if you go in there that you make sure that she is not working. There’s already a lawsuit on her. She is extremely judge mental for no reason. Especially when you’re spending between two and $400 for a lunch.

The Woodford bread pudding was amazing with it's salted caramel core topped with a heaping pile of whipped cream and finished with a drizzle of Woodford reserve.
