Le Méridien Indianapolis: what do users think?
Trevor Miller: Rooms: Nice room. Cozy.Walkability: Many things to do nearby within walking distance.Food & drinks: Nice bar
Isaac Thompson: Food & drinks: We chose this hotel because of its location directly adjacent to St. Elmo's. It was incredibly convinient for this reason as well as being a comfortable establishment in its own right.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Great value …More
C King: Staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are very nice just small. Not a lot of space in the one we had. Was in good location and easy to find. Finding ice was little difficult but had to go down to check in desk. Was quiet and no issues hearing people around us or above us.Rooms: 3/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Luxury, Romantic …More
Daniela Ra: This has been by far the best Customer Service experience I've had from the staff reception! I left my passport in their security box and after a couple weeks notice they were able to expedite it to the shipping address needed. Always acting kind and human, something that tends to be forgotten now a days! Thank you for sharing the care!
Terence G: Went to a Laker and Pacer game this location was perfect. Five minute walk, the staff were very nice and professional.
Chuni: This is beautiful boutique hotel, high end and well maintained, good bar and restaurant, and a walkway to mall. But what really stands out are the staff! In most hotels the staff are nice, in special hotels the staff are extra nice, but here the front desk staff are extremely nice and friendly! Kathrine remembered my name from 6 weeks ago when I stayed here, she’ll offer me a water w/o asking, and always offer assistance, yesterday I requested a microwave, the maintenance tech had already left, Aniyah from the front desk personally brought it up for me, I’ve been traveling for a while now for work, and have never seen such dedication from a front desk employee!!They deserve a big raise! They’re doing a phenomenal job! Thank you for the great service! 🙏🙏
randy hayes: First trip to Indianapolis in a few years. Decided to stay at the Le Meridian since it's downtown and close to everything we wanted to see. The entire staff is extremely helpful and the property is very nice. Aniyah at the front desk went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Both employees at the front desk were what I'd like to see at every hotel stay!!
MGD: Beautiful Boutique Hotel housing the AMAZING St. Elmo’s Steakhouse…Beautiful Rooms, Great Service combined with Much History!!!

Courtney Gerald: The staff were very welcoming and friendly, and that hotel itself was amazing. The bed was a soft as a cloud in the bathroom was perfectly clean. The location is great and walking distance to many restaurants and bars and stadiums. We ordered room service and the food did not disappoint. Would definitely recommend this hotel.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Colton Haney: Absolutely LOVED my experience at this hotel. I stayed here based on the recommendation of a friend. While the room was comfortable, well decorated, and clean, what made my experience top-rate was the staff. Zahra was there for my check in - she was friendly, guided me through the hotel amenities, and made me feel welcome as a Marriott elite member. I then engaged with Caitlin, the night auditor, who helped me get an additional key. Finally, I also engaged with Kathrine, Kati, & Amber on my way out of the hotel, all of whom were welcoming and friendly. I would absolutely stay here again!
Adam DeJans: Rooms are a bit small, but the location is excellent! Very close to a lot of downtown attractions. The staff was all very helpful and friendly! I would definitely recommend.Rooms: 3/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Ricardo Johnson: I work here and spoke and stealsNoteworthy details: Awesome even though it was a work stay where I work 😂Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Luxury, Romantic, Quiet, Kid-friendly …More
KRISTINE Black: I cannot say enough about the cleanliness of this hotel and the TOP NOTCH STAFF. As a germiphobe myself.. and my adult daughter who is even more of one...we both were SO comfortable here. The air...cleaner than clean! The room... sparkling.we have 2 small dogs and 2 cats. When they say pet friendly...they mean it! They even remembered our pups names when we took them to walk them. We were hit with the minus 10 degree Temps and spent a lot more time in the hotel then planned as a lot of events got cancelled in Indy. It was a pleasure The beds...the shower...so comfy! The staff knew we has a rough go getting there with the ice. They were so sweet at check in. I adore this hotel!
Stephanie: It's always difficult to decide if reviews are being too harsh and how they will align with your own expectations. Unfortunately, when it comes to Le Meridien Indy, I have to agree with the critical reviews. This is definitely a 3-star hotel with a 4-star rating. The hotel has been renovated, but parts of it still manage to look rundown and unclean. As other reviews have mentioned, the hotel is very small, and one of the main draws for staying here (beautiful lobby/hangout area) was closed consistently for private events. I was looking forward to the Corner King room that I had booked- only to be extremely disappointed once we actually saw it. Technically the room was located in the corner of the 6th floor of the property, but there is another building attached to the hotel... Our room was definitely a Deluxe, but we paid for a Corner. Very deceitful. It also lacked robes, slippers, and complimentary water bottles. All in all- the decor is cute and the staff is mostly friendly, but this is definitely not a luxury hotel.

Erika: My daughter & I had an AMAZING Stay-cation!!!! From the moment we got there, service and attention to detail are their specialty! Customer service was AMAZING! It started off with Ms Kuhn at the front desk! She is so sweet and took some extra goodies to our room and wrote us a personal card. Thanking us for choosing to stay at the JW Marriott. I wanted to hug her! I was so happy and very thankful for her outstanding customer service and her attention to detail!! High Velocity restaurant, executive lounge, room service, everything!!!! JW took really good care of us! We felt like VIPs! We will definitely be back!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH, JW MARRIOTT! You all ROCK!!!!!!!!
Hardeep Singh: Love this place. The restaurant has good food too.
Carlos Guerrero: Was there on a four day business trip. We had quite the schedule and everything in the background rans so smooth, you'd forget all the hard work the staff is involved with. Breakfast, lunch, breaks and dinner went off without a problem. The food was great, warm and everyone had plenty to pick from. Small friendly conversations with the staff shows they care about their work. The hotel is within walking distance from everything; bars, restaurants and Lucas Oil football field which is pretty cool and the Indianapolis Pacers basketball stadium. We got pizza and we're able to eat in the lobby while enjoying drinks from the bar. Went to the Slippery Noodle and walked back to the hotel with no problem and enjoyed some local sites also. Enjoy your stay.
Jennifer Schleicher: Clean & good service. Good restaurants in hotel. Stayed on the top floor for a great night time view. Good restaurant on site.Food & drinks: Restaurant bar on site.

Jennifer Mejia: Expensive stay but service was excellent and hotel was VERY clean. No odd smells in the hallway and nothing was in need of repair. It’s connected to everything and actually is so nice that it makes to convention center and mall look very run down.
Kumaran Raviprakash: Overall a very good experience with this Hotel. Service understands the preferences of the customer and from next day it was really taken care without we requesting liked this approachRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Luxury, Great view, Quiet, High-tech …More
billy beranek: Truly an amazing experience. Had the MFA National Festival conference here with over 3000 students and even more staff housed in the connecting hotels and other. They did a fantastic job feeding all of us, hosting Galas and Socials, and accommodating everyone. Hospitality here was truly amazing and they made the guests feel appreciated. Everything is neat and orderly, room was beautiful, everything clean. amazing work
Chasity Fralix: Rooms: Rooms were very clean and had plenty of space.Nearby activities: Located in walking distance of sporting stadiums, plenty of eating choices, and the mall.Walkability: Most everything is in walking distance.

Evelyn Okorafor: Nice stay,Gary is very hospitable and breakfast was always a bomb😍😍.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Quiet …More
Sara A: Danny was the best host, he was exceptional! Definitely went above and beyond for us. Stayed in the Tiffany room which had a double hot tub, nice fire place and a king-size bed that was super comfortable. Free snacks with cookies, popcorn, nuts and free sodas and water. Nice patio for the smokers to go smoke. Amazon fire stick with, Netflix Hulu and Amazon. Breakfast was delicious, French toast, Banana bread french toast, cereal and fruit. Oj, coffee or tea. Will 100% go back. It's a great get-a-way that's close to home. Located Downtown Indianapolis at 14th and Alabama. If you're looking for a place to just get away and relax then give this place a try. You won't regret it!
Steve Pierce: The house is beautiful with free parking in a private lot in the back. It was built in 1885 and has fine woodwork, doors and trim. It’s seated in The Old Northside neighborhood amid tree-lined streets and nice, big, historic homes. It’s great for walks, coffee and restaurants. Gary is a great host. He’s friendly and interesting. He has memorabilia and photos that document his friendships with celebrities. A unique and highly recommended experience.
Amy Blackburn: Beautiful house. Danny and Holly were wonderful. Could not have asked for a better visit!
Annette Kelly: In a word, FABULOUS! By far, one of the best places that me and my husband have ever stayed. Gary is the ultimate host: warm, welcoming, thoughtful and very experienced. The beautiful historic home is nestled in the Old Northside neighborhood. The rooms are elegantly decorated and very inviting. They draw you in to relax and nestle.Gary went above and beyond all our expectations. From the home baked cookies to the array of snacks and beverages available (all gratis) and the hundreds of movies available, and the plush towels and soft sheets, Wi-Fi boosters and premium channels on the tv, and the option of having your full breakfast served at a time of YOUR choosing, and the million little ways you are made to feel “right at home,” a stay at the Old Northside Bed and Breakfast will draw you back again and again. Thank you for making our visit SO special. This place is a treasure!
Yakky Doodle: My first experience staying at a B&B, and it was wonderful! The house is beautiful...everything is clean and comfy and there are so many personal, detailed touches that add to the experience. The host, Gary, goes over and above to make sure you are welcomed and have everything you need during your stay. The house is relatively close to downtown and has its own brightly lit, monitored parking area out back. This B&B also offers WiFi for guest, but why stay tied to the internet when Gary is near...great conversationalist, fluent in spanish and french and a world traveler (over 111 countries and all 50 states!)...very entertaining. The reason I gave a 4star rating, Google says an evening's stay is $144, but when the card was charged it was $193. I do not understand the difference and was on my way to an appointment that morning so I did not want to go through asking why. Plus Gary was such a great host the extra bit was worth it. Please check out all if my pics!
Robert Black: Gary was very warm and inviting. As someone who enjoys antiques and old buildings this place was perfect. Breakfast was impeccable, be sure to try the cookies! I will be returning on my next visit.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Jason Struble: My wife and I celebrated our 28th wedding anniversary there this weekend. Everything was wonderful. Gary met us at the door, we set our bags down and he showed us around. There was a nice little snack bar with homemade cookies treats sweets and snacks available anytime and refrigerator filled with an assortment of complementary beverages. Gary was very welcoming and gave us a little history on the place and we got to talking and learned a bit about him. He is a super nice guy. We love the high ceilings and old traditional woodwork as well as the decore. We stayed in the biggest room that was on the main floor. It had beautiful Stainglass and appeared Like a step back in time. The room had a fireplace, a nice soaking tub for two, a very comfortable king size bed and was very spacious. Also Gary has probably the biggest collection of movies you will ever see. We went out for a nice dinner and then came back and watched movies. We opted for the latest time for breakfast which was 9:30 AM, and apparently three other couples did too so we all got to eat together and met some very interesting and nice people. The breakfast was great and Gary made a homemade egg sausage casserole. There were various breads, bagel, rolls, waffles, homemade banana nut bread, cereals and granola, fresh cut fruit, as well as coffee tea and juice. Gary made everyone feel welcome and I am runs a class act Bed and breakfast. Also it's only minutes from all the downtown attractions And restaurants. I highly recommend it!
Connie Kutschbach: Very cozy B&B! Danny was a great host. Excellent breakfast and snacks and the location is nice. I definitely recommend staying at this hidden gem in Downtown Indy.
Philippe Giabbanelli: Very cozy house! The host (who was filling in for Gary) did everything by the book, starting with a tour of the house and providing snacks, then going through the breakfast options. Excellent breakfast with several options. The room has lots of 1900's elements, from (re)prints from Mucha, a mirror with an Erte reference, and Wedgwood pottery. Not a lot of natural light inside the house and it could do with some paint (particularly the ceiling), but that didn't bother me at this price. I'd be back.
Jennie Hedlund: Danny was an awesome host! The place was adorable, gray location and accommodations. Definitely will be back!
Sabina Martínez León: I loved staying in this B&B. Both Gary and JoAnne are incredible hosts! The house is so beautiful! And they felt us feel like home!JoAnne is baking cookies all the time (they were delicious!!), so snacks and drinks were available 24 hours. Also, the breakfast done by JoAnne was so good.I'll definetly come back.
Shannon Winkler: I'm staying here right now. It's so amazing 😍 The owners are a nice couple who will go beyond for their guests. Very comfy and homie feel. And then the rooms 💓💓Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Belle Cohen: This is a charming place to stay. Gary was very welcoming and the snacks were great!
Taz Roadrunner: Super Bed und Breakfast für einen zwischenstop.... der Service war top (inkl. kleiner Führung durch das Haus) und das Frühstück war ebenfalls top.
David Mills: do not stay in this place the owner/operations manager gary was very rude and then hung up on me if this is how they would treat someone that just called to find out about the property I would definently avoid this property
Jamie Hejna: We stayed at Old Northside while we were in town for a wedding. There was a big firefighters convention in Indianapolis so hotels were all booked. Neither one of us had done a true B&B before. Although I have no others to compare, what I can tell you is It’s clear the owner has poured his life into making sure his guests are comfortable and enjoy their stays. The house itself is beautiful and the breakfast invites conversation amongst the guests.
Elizabeth Haller: Stayed here with my husband for the weekend. AMAZING breakfast (cannot emphasise this enough), both mornings. Gary has raised our expectations for B&Bs! He's an excellent host, and a great guy to converse with.
Roger Winemiller: We have stayed at the Old Northside numerous times over the years and we continue to return. Gary is a great host and always very friendly to myself and my family. The location is great and you can walk to may places, we even had a picnic in the park across the street on one occasion. The breakfast are always good with way too much to eat. The cookies - well - they never seem to run out and I try my best to make that happen. Love this place and we will contiue to stay here every time we are in Indy.
Mandy Stone: Awesome innkeeper, great house and amazing jetted bath, perfect for relaxing.

Francisco Solano: Terrible experience, I accidentally hit the firealarm to exit the building because there was NO one in front door, and I was having trouble opening the front door . I just checked in to the hotel and was trying to go to my car to get my bags. The rooms are lovely and spacious (I was on 5th floor) and the shower is amazing, you feel like you’re under a waterfall) will definitely rebook when I’m in Indiana.
Ingrid Blount: We love the Ironworks! We go every year and every time it has been a wonderful experience. The staff is pleasant and accommodating, even upgrading us for our anniversary. Alex Wolfe: I cannot say enough great things about Ironworks Indy. From the rustic / steampunk vibes to the amazing rain shower, everything here was a great experience.Upon arrival, we parked the car and headed inside. Check in is on the second floor, there are elevators and a central staircase. The team at the front desk are very welcoming and explained all of the restaurant options and amenities. I wish we had more time to stay in Indy to experience all of the amenities because this hotel was very nice and well maintained. The room had ample space with a HUGE tv with all the modern apps. The ambiance in the room as well as the entire theme of the hotel was amazing. The rustic doors and exposed HVAC above was so neat.Let me tell you about this rain shower though. Probably the best shower experience I have ever had. I will be looking into renovating my home bathroom after experiencing this rain shower… it was THAT good. The weight of the water felt like a nice massage. I didn’t want to leave Since we are on a long road trip, we ordered room service for breakfast from Rize before heading out for our next leg of the trip. We ordered the farm house eggs, a cinnamon roll, and yogurt with granola. Everything we had was top notch. The cinnamon roll was the size of my head and came with two sides of icing.Upon leaving, I asked for a small bag of ice to fill up my cooler. They brought me a good amount of ice directly to my room and in a fairly short amount of time too!I’m fairly certain my future Hotel experiences will not live up to this one. Will definitely be the ONLY hotel I’ll be staying at in Indy. 💯
Eric Cook: Very cool vibe to this place. Room was great and staff was super friendly.
alaker7: Wonderful stay! Stayed here to celebrate my wife's birthday. What a nice place! Lot's of restaurants to choose from. Lots of stores nearby. Highly recommend this place!Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Luxury, Quiet …More
Isabella Rosebrock: We needed somewhere to stash 2 adults, 2 large house cats and one Service Dog (Airedale Terrier) while our attic was being treated for mold removal. The staff were exceptionally helpful & we were even able to check in at an unusually early time. I will definitely be recommending this place to the folks I know. The decor is most epic & the Heritage rooms are so spacious. We will be staying here again, even if it's just for a mini-staycation!Rooms: I *love* the industrial decor. The hallways that lead to the rooms are safe behind doors with electronic locks the hallway lighting fixtures are just perfect for a dark cozy atmosphere. The work spaces are incredible, the couch is super comfy. The beds are even great! The shower can turn into an erotic show in the Heritage rooms, or there is a blind that can be lowered for total bathroom privacy. It's a really well done space.Nearby activities: So much shopping!!!!Food & drinks: With the Keystone at the Crossings area just a few minutes away, there is so much more food dining if the hotel restaurants aren't to your liking. But with so many cuisine choices connected to the hotel, it's doubtful you'll need all those options.
Shawn Peterson: The rooms are big and nice with great food options. Staff were not that helpful and seemed put out there happened to be guests at the hotel. I would say over all the experience was ok.Rooms: The rooms are big and spacious with big windows although not any view to speak of. I was there in the winter and they got super hot or too cold l really hard to control temperature.Food & drinks: Food is really good and room service was fast. Only complaint is limited hours and inconsistent as to when it is open. For instance the restaurant and room service closed at 4 the Sunday we where there for the supper bowl.
Preston Montgomery: Staff was great. The room was amazing. Perfect place to stay.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Kasee Hall: I've stayed here twice now, and both times the rooms were immaculate. Even when busy, it's still a very quiet hotel. We didn't bring our pup, but it is a dog friendly hotel, with water and treats in the lobby. Staff is very friendly & helpful, all throughout the night. The first time we stayed here was on our anniversary, and staff upgraded our room for free when they found out. Management is wonderful - my partner had responded to their reviews the first time we stayed, and because there were services we didn't try (thus didn't review), the next time we stayed they gave us complimentary champagne & chocolates! And let me tell ya, those chocolates are absolutely delicious. Their beds are incredibly comfortable. The bathrooms are very clean, and the shower is very romantic - you can choose whether or not to pull the curtain down on the outside of the shower, depending on if you'd like your partner to watch or if you'd prefer privacy. The back of the shower isn't entirely see through, shows more of an outline than details. I didn't do a good job of including it in photos but it's one of my favorite designs of this hotel.Great hotel to get away from life and just relax, and/or to spend time with a partner.(Photos are from the first stay only)
Elena G: Loved it 😍. First time here. Our room was on the fifth floor. Loved the angle windows with the blinds, the assortment of snacks and drinks offered. The price menu of the snack and drinks, which included the wine glasses. They even have a small area with snacks and water for dogs right next to reception. Loved the fact that the only way to access guest suite thru elevator was to use your room key.
Chobee Sheets: My husband and I booked two nights. We checked in and went to the room. It was very clean and the staff was super friendly. A few hours later, after having a bad experience at a local theater, we decided to just go home. The hotel staff could tell I was upset and gave us a full refund. Even though it wasn’t their fault, and we were happy to pay, they went out of their way to make up for something they didn’t have to.
Heather SYo: Great place. Very nice staff. Rooms were clean. Great showers! Lots of places to eat nearby and on site.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Luxury, Romantic …More

Hilton Garden Inn Indianapolis Downtown: what do users think?
Joe sisco: Very nice place to stay, the people are very polite and helpful. One thing that stands out to me is the hotel restaurant, the fried maple glazed chicken with Bacon-mash potatoes was the best meal I have had in a long time. I may schedule a trip through Indy soon so I can experience the food one more time, it was very good and the chef was very friendly and thoughtful and came to ask if everything was alright, excellent.
Michael Holsapple: I would highly recommend this place. We stayed here for a weekend and had a wonderful time. The staff was so friendly and helpful. If you are looking for a place to stay downtown close to everything this is the spot.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More

sanjeet chandra garimella: Located just steps away from the iconic monument circle, this Hilton Garden Inn is a great place to stay in Indy. Again, being in downtown you can walk to any and all downtown restaurants, convention center, and other places.Rooms - Amazing, with the exception of bathroom counter, sink, and bathtub, which need to be upgraded a bit.Lobby/Food - Nice checkin area alongside a restaurant which serves breakfast (charged separate), and also has bar/food options. The place also has valet parking at decent rates compared to other downtown hotels, parking garages. The carpet inside the elevator can also be uplifted to maintain standards.Rooms: Nice, well maintained, and amazing views.Safety: In downtown with constant patrolling.Walkability: Can’t beat the distance to convention center, mall, restaurants, coffee places!Food & drinks: Had its own restaurant in the lobby. If not, it’s in downtown - so you chose your cuisine !
Joseph Moore: Fantastic stay here. Hotel is very dog friendly. Very close to plenty of restaurants, the park, and Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Only a 10 minute walk to the arena. Solid breakfast and a very friendly staff around the clock. Will definitely stay here again when we come for a game!Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Great view …More
James Winters: Friendly and helpful staff. Great amenities. This is my new go-to spot for Indianapolis travel.Walkability: Right off the circle. Many attractions and restaurants nearby.

Kaycee Means: So big and clean and amazing. Super nice staff too.
Stargazer: This beautiful and historic building was incredible. Walking distance to some great coffee, parks and restaurants.Valet greeted us in a timely manner. Didn't expect the loud hip-hop music when we entered the lobby to check-in playing through their speakers. Front desk was friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious with a great view of the city.Cons: Breakfast buffet (which was recommended by the front desk) hot food was cold and unappetizing. For $15.95 I was extremely disappointed. But Karen our waitress was super friendly and kept our coffee topped. When I read about the buffet that their past guests didn't care for and the response to those guests that they'd improve upon it, didn't seem to rectify the issue. Quality control is a must for the the most important meal of the day.Only other complaint would be the sheets, pillow cases and bed. Itchy sheets and pillow cases, thin mismatched pillows and lumpy, sunken bed.Overall, I would come back. But avoid the dining room and eat outside of the hotel. Maybe bring my own pillow and pillow case.
Becca Selkirk: Rooms are a little price but the columbine was intown...Food & drinks: There is several good restaurants in walking distance from hotelRooms: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Quiet …More
Alisa Orfait: Lovely room and view! Staff very friendly.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Luxury …More
Selena M: Staff was very friendly and helpful. Hotel is close to everything downtown within a 10 minute walk. Only issues were the stain on the mattress in our room and there wasn’t a bed bug cover on the mattress. The breakfast was $16/per person (I’d much rather get brunch somewhere for that price) and parking is $37/night or you can park down the street for $20/day.

Stone Soup Inn: what do users think?
Eric “ruckamuck” B: We had the pleasure of staying at this place when we visited Indianapolis for my baby brother's wedding and we can say the whole stay was a pleasure. We were greeted and given a tour by a very nice young lady and showed us to our loft. Our room was very clean, comfortable and spacious enough for 2.The location was great and close to everything yet out of the way and quiet. They keep the main door locked at night so we felt very safe. Breakfast was a continental style, but all the food was quality and the service was terrific. We will dilefinitely be returning next time we are in Indianapolis.

Adam Ambrecht: My go-to home-away-from-home for near monthly trips to the Circle City! The property itself is close to downtown, well maintained, clean, and smoothly run. Breakfast selection to get you going and delicious coffee to wake you up! Be sure to set your alarm, as the rooms are so comfortable and quiet you'll likely oversleep those early appointments! Walkability score is high with many amenities and attractions right around the corner, and the Old Northside neighborhood itself an enjoyable stroll.
Benjamin Underwood: My wife and went to a play at Clowes Memorial Hall and thought this B and B looked nice. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. The staff were extremely nice. Unfortunately, we encountered an altercation in the area and had to call the cops on our way to the theater. The area is a bit rough for a B and B...After returning from our evening out we didn't have anywhere to park. The following morning at 8:15 (breakfast started at 8) a group had consumed all of the breakfast and all of the coffee. So no breakfast at a Bed and Breakfast... My recommendation, get a hotel in that area for roughly the same price. The room was okay. This location in Indy is less than desirable.
Liz Zapf: I made a last minute reservation and had a wonderful experience -- not only is the Inn beautifully appointed with many unexpected amenities, but the breakfast that DeWayne arranged was superb. I look forward to returning and exploring more of the historic neighborhood as well :)Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More

Di’s Go Green and Sew Tips: We stayed here for a night. The Stone Soup Inn has a beautiful calming atmosphere. The inn keeper was kind and gave great advice for dinner options. We stayed in the Lilly Room. I loved it. Truly a great place to stay. I will return again some time. I would recommend to anyone that is over the hotel niche and just looking for something different and relaxing. 5stars

Alan Kaiser: My wife and I stayed two nights for our anniversary. All staff was friendly and eager to help. The room was cozy, offering complementary soaps, coffee, etc. All linens and the entirety of the room was clean. Keep in mind that this is a small bed and breakfast, not a chain hotel, so the whole establishment had a well-worn and homey feel. Breakfast was great, and the room was definitely large enough for two people. Excellent service and customer care.
L C: Door knob fell of as soon as we entered the room, antique or not it wasn’t fixed until after we left. Went to plug my phone in looked for an outlet around the bed area and was pretty grossed out by the amount of dust, looked like it hadn’t been done in months whether they get good reviews for cleanliness or not it wasn’t clean so?😂 morning manager was super rude and condescending to my friend and I, wouldn’t stay again
Mack A: I would not recommend. Very money hungry. I’m a professional business women, and will never let one of my colleagues stay here. It was very off putting from the start. The male was screaming as we were arriving (to whom, I’m not sure) and then came in smiling it was very rare…. I was charged additional fees that were not approved. They must not get much business, because looking at the reviews it seems that I’m not the only one who got additional random charges. And before they try to comment “this guest did not stay here”, YES I indeed did.
Andrea Quintanilla: Wonderful spot in Indy!My partner and I were staying in Indianapolis for only a night before needing to take a shuttle from the airport to Bloomington (some context, we are looking at IU for grad school and our flight into Indianapolis was pretty late in the day). We were welcomed warmly with a little history about the building, and felt really good about finally having some rest after a day of travel. We stayed in the Carpenter's room; really quiet and kept wonderfully, just like the rest of the place. We slept like rocks! The next morning we came downstairs and had some breakfast; they have a great spread of food options ranging from cereal to fresh fruit to waffles you can make! We were still pretty out of it from traveling, otherwise we would have eaten much more of what they offered. We had planned to spend the day seeing more of Indianapolis, to kill time before leaving the inn at 6 pm to make it to our shuttle. The inn is very very close to many places to eat and shop, as well as public transportation, so we were keen to use the inn's closeness to things to our advantage in the little amount of time we had in Indy. We had assumed we could check out at the normal time they required and then possibly leave our bags tucked away in the innkeeper's office until then, but when we asked that morning we were told we needed to pay for another night if we intended to leave our bags there for that long. If we were leaving earlier in the day, say maybe 2 or 3 pm then they could hold our bags, but 6 pm was too late after the check out time. I was a little surprised, just because in the past most places (BnB's or hotels) I've stayed at are willing to hold bags that long, but luckily no one was booked for our room that night and I had enough extra funds to cover another night's worth. Then again, we probably should have called ahead to ask beforehand, so I own that on my end; now I understand the policy a little better for the next time we visit.Overall, it's a beautiful place, the staff are lovely and clearly care about the inn's historical value and upkeep, and it's a perfect, peaceful inn to rest from a bustling day or two.

Paula Diana Barrett: This old home is a delight to see. I worked as a cleaner in this place. Which gave me a chance to see the entire home and being a person who loves antiques. I was in heaven. Of course everyone will not have my delight for old homes but if you do? Then you will enjoy this Bed & Breakfast Inn.
