Indy Island Aquatic Center: what do users think?
Dustin Rooks (BYM): Whole family enjoyed the facility and waterslide!
Pia Staten: Was not expecting to enjoy ourselves here this much! It was packed when we went (Springbreak) but even then nice indoor swimming pool to take big or little kids!
Alicen Williams: It was such a fun place! We were all exhausted after spending all day here and look forward to our next visit. Best part - heated water!
Tony Jump: 👍
Emily Hieatt: Great prices and the kids had fun
Johna Allen: Fills up to their 100 person capacity fast on the weekends. Not a lot in there to do.
Lisa C: This is a great place for little ones to have swim classes
Jessica Napier: Affordable place to bring kids for a winter swim. Clean, clean, CLEAN! They tested the water midway through our visit, which is reassuring that they test that frequently.
Johnny G: Great place to take kids .
Maria Roque: I’ve been here twice and it’s always closed, online it says it’s open. You’ll should change the post online!
jeisson forero: Hoy está cerrado por mantenimiento
free C: Preschoolers swim class through the park service this morning. 2/3 instructors were a no show, leaving one instructor to manage 10 kids. He did the best he could and I'm thankful he didn't cancel the class. Here's the kicker though- there were at least six other employees in the vicinity and not one of them could be bothered to step up. They lounged around and stayed busy on their cell phones while the lifeguards weirdly paced around an otherwise empty pool. Glad to see our tax payer dollars being put to use, and of course no refunds :/. Thank you Indy Parks for the all of the 30 seconds my kid spent in the water .
Tabitha: Busy, moderate sized indoor water park operated by Indy Parks. Affordable. Free parking. No concession stand. Lifeguards on duty. Locker rooms are okay.
Em K: It’s a fun place, but my kids’ feet and knees are covered in cuts everytime they play in the baby area! This needs to be repaved
Devon Rachelle Carter: Been coming here for a couple years now. My kids and I love it. Most of the time we've always had good visits. Always cleaned up. Not had any problems while coming. Had my sons birthday here too. He loved it. Pretty laid back
Lazy Clouds: This was so fun I was in 3rd grade that time with my Sunday school people. i love the slides
Max Braxton-Franke: This Is a Awesome Indoor Swimming Place For Kids To Adults. A Water Slide, And They Have Swimming Lesson’s.
Sarah Almanza: It's a very nice place. My family and I had a lot of fun. My only complaint is there are some rough spots on the pool bottom and all of us have scrapes somewhere on our arms or legs. No other complaints.
Ric Tho: Good prices, nice staff. Concessions were bare, out everything but some candy and corn chips.
Danielle Shaw: The lifeguards are friendly, courteous and helpful. I feel safe coming here and would recommend it to anyone and everyone!
Gideon Scott-Miller: Lifeguards are very respectful and I feel safe when I’m here. Great place to have fun with the family. The facility was clean and the staff provided good customer service. 5/5

Indoor Splash Island: what do users think?
Tim Blackwell: 7 swimmers and it didn't "break the bank". All in all, it was a good time.
Barbara Harrison: Wonderful facility. Building looks brand new and is very clean. So much to do here. We spent all our time in the indoor water park.
Tina Bauer: Great place to swim and take the grandson's. I'll be back next summer with my grandson's.
Mahmoud Abdel-Rahman: Nice place for kids and family ❤️
Amber Parks: Favorite place in Plainfield to exercise
Jordan Prewitt: The facility is always clean and full of friendly faces. The staff is truly what makes this place stand out above any other indoor pool in the area.
Jamie Withrow: Drove an hour and a half today to find out they aren't open mon-fri. Would be nice if they updated their hours!
Barb Lamb: Closed except on weekends starting today Wed Aug 3.2022. Of course we drove 150 miles today. Update your darn web site! Crying kids !
Michelle Doyle: I'm sorry I was so excited to come here but once I arrived I was very disappointed before even getting in the aquatic center. Experience was terrible very let down. Most lifeguards we're very polite and helpful but 2 we're totally disrespectful and need to find other jobs because their excuses for things that were clearly wrong were very disturbing!!! And I'm sure most people would agree if your wanting to enjoy a lazy river your wanting to float around the lazy river not "walk" like the lifeguard told us to do. And to have maybe 25-30 rafts for ppl to use when there is clearly over 200 + ppl there at the center is ridiculous. If it has to be that way then limit time ppl can be in there so everyone can enjoy it. Very very sad I wanted so much to have a great day and it SUCKED.... especially for price paid to get in.
CoopCooper: Not a bad place to go for a couple of hours
Diana Erkul: Took the grandson. He loved it. Very clean and well-run facility. Several zero-entry kiddie pools, lazy river, lap pool, slide, and diving pool (hubs fave). Lifeguards are very professional and well-trained and keep things safe and pleasant for everyone. Nice tables with umbrellas for eating snacks/lunch.Chairs are in very good condition. A professionally managed rec center with clientele that are courteous and respectful of the property.
K Var: First time coming and my boys loved it. There’s a lot to do!! It’s clean and there’s plenty of seating. They have food but you can also bring your own. Parking is good too. Overall it’s really nice.
Joseph Hodge: Very nice and clean facility. Popular on weekends so pack your patience.
Gloria Fernandez: Mu exelente
Lulu Catalan: Like it because it is a great for kids
Shirleta Blount: Always a blast for the family...we love the lazy river🙂
BA Be: Very nice aquatic center. It was clean and well staffed for safety.
Jasmeet Kaur: It was a nice experience
Melissa Smith: Always a good time!
Jlove mckinney: It was a great experience, my kids had a great time.
S G: My family and I had an amazing time. I particularly loved the lazy river, lol.

Krannert Aquatic Center: what do users think?
candice price: Is closed
Shay Ann: Krannert pools & building will be closed after May 1, 2022. They will be renovating. A new pool building will be built where the outdoor pool was. The old indoor pool will become a larger weight room. The inside will be closed until at least 12/31/23. The outdoors (lake, playground, picnic areas) will still be open. I don't think there will be a restroom available.
Cassie Flory: I've loved Krannert since I was a kid. It's one of my favorite places to visit ❤️
tteckenbrock20gmailcom tteckenbrock20gmailcom: We went to the first ever haunted house. It was so cute we had a blast.

Joe bickers: I take the dogs there for our walks around the pond, they love trying to get the ducks and geese. Lol . People fish there too. They have a work out weight training room and swimming pool , indoor and out. The weight training Room pass is $ 110 a year I believe.
Kevin Fowler: Went there to vote wasn't bad at all
Albert Highsaw Jr: I went there to vote the line for the voting was crazy there we ended up waiting two and a half almost 3 and 1/2 hours from start to finish in all I had a handicap wife so by time we got to the building then we can actually get in
Bobby Matheson: Biased
Jackie Edmonds: I went to Krannert to early vote. There was nowhere to park and the lines were very long.
J Turner: It was an early voting location. Nice location, love the pond. Very friendly poll workers.

The Waterpark: what do users think?
Big Red: This place sounds horrible from the reviews alone. I wont go just from what ive read. Apparently they cant handle the north side crowds. Just sounds like too much of a pain to even attempt going here for "a good time". This place apparently has a logistics and occupancy control problem. Sounds like a nightmare to try to have a good time.
Lindsey “Linji” Mark: Closed for the season but hours not updated.
Albert Rodriguez: Muy bueno para pasar un día agradable en el agua.
Maleigha Combs: It was great here the parking is incorrect though
Karen Dutton: Was planning on going before Labor Day over the weekend. Why does it close August 7. In fact today?? Have never been here yet
Yurlem Moreno: Super nice
kate ocarroll macko: Bought a summer membership in order to be able to take our young child, but the baby pool is almost never open due to low staffing (including several beautiful days on weekends). Our child is too young to utilize many other features (not to mention that the things that are accessible get even more crowded when the baby pool is closed), so this was a total waste of money. Very disappointing.
Mose Brown: They made me pay more because I don't live in a gentrified cityAlso too much lazy not enough river
Jane Hendrix: Went at 530, hours stated it closed at 7pm, NOT true- at 615pm it was breaking "everyone out of the pool"- breaking never ended/closing time Started! Mind you they charged us full price for adults $45 for what ended up being 45 minutes--closing time for pool was 7pm it stated!
Jess Fam: Upon arriving there was no sign saying they had areas of the park closed inside the water park. When we got in we noticed the baby pool was closed down for whatever reason and that’s OK so we turned around and tried to get a refund within 10 minutes of being there there was also no chairs available so be very very careful when you go here. The park was kind of OK it had a lot of stuff that no one else has but the tricky part is they refused to give you a refund even though a certain part of the park you wanted to use was closed. Then not only that they make you walk to another building to get a refund to talk to the manager no one will give you a refund if you use cash so we basically spent $30 for nothing it was absolutely terrible and then I sent an email to the manager and the managers manager hasn’t responded yet either. They stated if I used a debit card that they would’ve given me a refund but since I use cash I could not have one.Even though they had all that cash available right in front of me they refused to give me my $30 back.If the managers manager contact me back I will change this review because I do believe in being fair if I would get my money back I will take down this review. But as of now it was absolutely terrible it’s all ran by 15-year-olds and nobody knows anything and you can’t get anybody to do anything for you and the customer service is absolutely horrible.Because no one can “do anything”I was NOT impressed here
D Dieter Bell: Nice venue! I like that you can check occupancy online at any time.I don't think there are enough large tubes.I went at 4pm on weekday , website said 70% occupancy when I left home. We waited about 5 min to get in, maybe 10-12 min for the large slides. Kiddie pool closed so only 4 stars. There are various little kids , 6-7 year olds, who run around and cut lines. Older kids and adults assume they are running to catch up to family but nope, they're just cutting. Happened to us with at least 5 different kids. . One little hellion who was about 6 with pierced ears ran and cut in front of husband on big slide, turned and flipped him off before sliding down. All life guards are watching water so they dont see it. So- stand your ground .It's a great place for family and good price compared to commercial parks..
Amanda Chapman: Really cool water park for the whole fam! Pools and facilities were clean, and food was reasonably priced. We got there at 11am and had to wait in line. Line was long but moved quickly. They had Kona ice, which always awesome for the kids. Despite the rain, the day was a blast!
Jared Shofner: The park is very nice and has many fun pools and slides. The problem is that they have trouble selling tickets and moving people into the park. The lines are very long and they only choose to utilize one booth to process payments.
Jarrell Oliver: Great family fun. Clean and we'll run facility.
trish millette: The place was really great
Jessica Karamanos: The kids ages 9 & 13 had a blast for the most part. It was completely full on a Sunday 1 hr. after opening. When at capacity if you go outside the gate you have to wait to get back in. A lack of common courtesy is a big problem here, not like it isn't everywhere it just stood out here because of it being over crowded. 30+min for the lazy river with only 10-20 people waiting but then as more people come up (mostly grown adults) they shove to the front not caring about the people (even kids) that have been patently waiting. The concessions are decently priced. I would suggest getting there before they open, bringing your own chairs, umbrella & cooler.
John Gravagna: I've been to this Waterpark more than several times and it seems to get a little worse each time. Today I was looking to enjoy some time in the Lazy River and noticed that there weren't many available tubes for floating. I noticed a number of people using the tubes as seats outside of the Lazy River. I guess they got to the park late and weren't able to lock down some regular seats so they took the tubes from the Lazy River. When I brought it up to the staff they told me that was wrong but didn't want to confront the people. The staff/management/security should really walk the park and make sure everyone is abiding the rules so that everyone who paid is having a good time and not feeling shorted. I only wish I took some photos. Hope this can get fixed.
Dave Harlan: I still can’t quite understand how I could take my kids to a water park and not have a good time. It was crowded. They do limit occupancy and stopped letting people in, but it was still too crowded. There was a shortage of tubes for the lazy river and the water slide, which put people in an ungenerous mood. It’s a nice place with great facilities, I just felt a bad vibe.
Alex Rittenhouse: I will definitely be coming back here time and time again. Such a great time with the family for the price of service. Sooo many things to do, water slides, lazy river, water rock wall, kiddy pool, self generated surfing, activity pool, lap pool, food and more. They do have lo kers for rent if needed. I HIGHLY advise to show up 30 minutes before opening to ensure a great seat and to get first dibs on your most-wanted activity. The surfing waiver can be done online ahead of time which saves time - keep in mind that each rider gets roughly 3 minutes time so the line can take quite some time. Food was well priced and everything was pretty clean! Only docking 1 star for the tube shortage on both lazy river and blue slide...many were flat/busted, leaving a decently long wait to get on both.
Franklin balza urbina: Excellent
Ana Escobar: excellent water park to enjoy with the family
