Daniel Matakiewicz: I went in for my birthday dinner and the sashimi, nigiri, and hand rolls did not disappoint. Initially there was an issue that I wasn't seated in the sushi area so I had to wait for another host to move me to the correct section. But otherwise awesome customer service and atmosphere! Friendly and inviting and the food came out in a timely manner!I will be back here!

Sue Winslow: I have always enjoyed eating at Kabuto's untilthis time. They were sorta busy but before long we were taken to a hibachi table. There were 9 ppl seated at this table. Because there were 2 women who must have been single due the how they flirted with the cook. The cooked started serving at the opposite end from where Judy & I sat. His spatula was piled about 5" high but by the time he got to us, we had about 2" of the rice. Once the mixed vegetables were plate ready, again the cook did the same routine. There was onion, carrots, mushroom, zucchini, and broccoli. By the time he got to our end, the only thing left was Lots of onion and zucchini. No carrots, No broccoli, and No mushroom. Was not happy with this visit. For the cost of the meal, we shud have had the same items and amounts that the others had.

J P: The cook did not season our meat on the hibachi grill. The chicken and shrimp were bland. The chef was trying to tell a friend what she ordered, and she corrected him because the person who took the order wrote it wrong. The waiter was extremely nice and apologized for the problems. We were there for lunch and charged dinner prices until the waiter got that fixed. The whole experience was horrible, and I will not go back to the Keystone at Crossing location. The chef at another hibachi table was extremely loud while talking to the guest at his station. If I do go back, I will try the Noblesville location. Up under the grill, you could see food and not clean.

Chambre Kincy: We made reservations for a party of 16. They would not seat us until everyone arrived, even though we confirmed 2 times everyone would be there. This was at 9:30 when the restaurant literally was EMPTY.Benihana has turned into Beni-NO.Our waiter was okay.The floors are DISGUSTING full of food and look like they just never are cleaned.The ceiling don't even look its greasy and gross.Windows dirty, wallpaper dirty and greasy.Then there is this smell, it's like wet and moldy.The major joke our table ordered drinks, I waited 10 minutes to ask my waiter where my drink was he goes and comes back and tells me "The bar didn't have the stuff, so we didn't make it. Chad Hedrick: The food was delicious, and perfectly cooked, I just disliked the lack of customization on meat selection compared to other Hibachi experiences. You can forget getting both chicken AND steak, usually at smaller portion sizes and with a reasonable upcharge comparatively, unless you want to spend the money for filet mignon specifically, which should be one of many options. I did not care for the ginger salad dressing which is typically a favorite of my hibachi experience. Everything else was flawless.

Erica: Yikes. I used to go here when I was kid and I remember it being a nice place to go for special occasions. To say it’s gone downhill is an understatement. The menus were dirty and the walls had stains. Seems like the owners only care about making $$$ rather than caring about the interior/exterior maintenance and upkeep. It was noisy and everyone was shoved together in an outdated brightly lit environment. We left before we got our drinks and went to a nicer hibachi place down the road. Only giving 2 stars for nostalgia. This place needs a serious overhaul.

Christian Miller: The restaurant has both sushi and hibachi, I only had the sushi, so I cannot speak or review the hibachi. The sushi was average. Not bad, but not great. It was slightly higher than grocery store prepared sushi. If I am in Indy again I wouldn’t come back, but that was not due to the quality of the sushi, it was due to the quality of the service. Maybe my waitperson had an off night, and unfortunately it quickly killed the excitement I had for a nice sushi dinner. If I had a redo button, I would have opted for grocery store prepared sushi rather than endure the poor service from my waitperson.

Wait staff is forced to share tips with chefs, that for sit well with me. For the price of 56.00 for myself to eat and the upscale nature of the place the kitchen staff should be compensated well enough to not need any of the wait staff’s tips. Overall the experience wasn’t worth the price.

The sushi is prepared (by hand) as it would be overseas, so be prepared to wait - and then to eat a SURPRISING AMOUNT of HIGH-QUALITY fish. Pooja Gangras: First of all make sure you go early to put your name down for a table! This place is a Japanese food paradise in Indy. We tried a ton of different sushi - I think all sushi here tastes amazing. We also tried 2 appetizers - a fish cake combo and takoyaki, both were absolutely delicious! The house sake is just $3 and very tasty and boozy! Please visit this place!!
APS Style: Food is great however they always run out of the special items listed on the board. Often they even runout of regular menu items. Service is much slower compared to other Japanese restaurants in the area but friendly! Occasionally you may not get what you ordered. Most of the time chef decides what sushi you get on the special rolls.
