Andrew H: Steer clear. You can see a lot of their reviews are from profiles with less than 10 reviews but all give 5 stars. Seems like these could be employee reviews.

Nick Massy: I was a Business Development Intern for Ascend for a semester. I worked on lots of unique projects where I was able to utilize the skills I already had going into it as well as develop new ones. The work environment there is amazing, I have never worked in a place that was as friendly, helpful and energetic. Everyone there was happy to come to work and do their best for a great cause.

V. Sofia Franciscus: Had two positions to fill with a very short timeline to find candidate, onboard, and train. Contacted numerous staffing agencies in the area, including Ascend. All got back to me the same day except Ascend. They contacted me a month later after the position had already been filled with the following questions:"1. Does your organization have any role openings within Indiana? At this time, Ascend only works with Indiana employers.2. Does your organization have open roles that pay $13/hr or more?3. Does your organization have an internship program or hire for recent college graduates?"This is what happens when politics gets mixed into just getting the job done in the most efficient, compliant, and safe manner. This benefits none of their clients that are looking to get employed. Steer clear.
S: I was applying for the consulting analyst role at ascend. The interview was done by Caitlin Brown and Jill Armstrong. Everything seemed to go smoothly up to the third interview until they "ghosted" me and did not let me know if I was going to go forward with the role. I had to wait over a month for a simple email that said they were not moving with my application. It was really unprofessional and lacked consideration from both Jill and Caitlin and it reflects the organization they work for. Do not recommend
Louis Briones: I was a few months from graduating and the post-grad job search was fruitless. I tried working through my alumni office and a mainstream job search site but still grew more and more anxious as graduation approached. I luckily heard about this wonderful company through a friend and the rest is history. The services are free and you work with a case manager who tries to tailor job positions to your skills and needs. I wish they had an office in every state, and I couldn’t be more grateful for how I really felt they were in my corner going to bat for me every step of the way.
Rebecca Correa: Amazing experience and wonderful team! I worked with them as I was just graduating college, and they really helped me navigate the job application experience. I was incredibly nervous/frustrated when I first started applying. They not only helped ease my concerns, but they also found many opportunities for me that I would have otherwise never known about.The best part about Ascend is that they put your preferences and passions first. They want to give you opportunities that are a good fit for you, and they will go above and beyond to ensure that. Additionally, their services are free and accessible to all. I would absolutely recommend getting Ascend's help if you are considering them!
