First Watch: what do users think?
Chloe Barker: Really enjoyed having brunch at First Watch! The food was delicious and fairly priced. It was busy, but not too loud and the wait time wasn’t bad. I loved the Frittata Rustica! The Tripical Sunrise drink was sweeter than I like my drinks, but still tasted amazing! I was only in town for the weekend but I’d love to go again next time I’m in Indy!Vegetarian options: The vegetarian options aren’t clearly labeled, but reading through the descriptions I found this place has many vegetarian options to choose from! More options than what I’m used to.
Michele Hodges: Service was really slow but, Food was delicious.Food: 5/5|Service: 2/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Ayo Laws: Food: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5Recommended dishes Million Dollar BaconMore
Joseph Madden: Super busy vibe for brunch and you can feel it. There was a line out the door. Not a ton of attention if you're at a table, but someone will get to you and they'll be thorough. Fresh juices were 🔥 and I highly recommend the Chickichanga for a hangover cure.Dietary restrictions: Accommodates celiacs
Hailey: Be sure to jump on the waitlist before you actually arrive! It said us probably 20-30 mins of physically waiting. They have gluten free bread. Good serving sizes. Not a fan of the coffee though, it was really watered down.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Jessica Z.: Just your basic first watch. My favorite thing about first watch is that they leave you with a whole pot of coffee when you order coffee. Nice menu with a combination of basic and unique breakfast choices. They also serve lunch. I had the ham and guyere omelette and I added mushrooms and onions. Place was a bit on the pricey side but all and all a good breakfast.
Gary Clapp: They were super busy today but my order was ready when I arrived.Food: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Hilary Cain: Ordered 2 fresh juice morning meditations. They are supposed to be orange, lemon, ginger, agave and a small line of beet. Received juice and it is all beet, with ginger pulp at the bottom. The juice taste horrible and should not be sold missing most of the main ingredient. Yuck 😐🤢
Westin Williamson: Prices have gotten out of control but great staff.
Sue Ream: This First Watch is located in the heart of downtown Indy, just off Monument Circle near Illinois and Market Streets. It serves breakfast and lunch and closes at 2. The vibe is urban but warm, with clientele leaning heavy on the business meetings, colleague meals, and Convention Center folks with the usual name badges on lanyards.Although it was busy, I was seated quickly, served quickly, and my Chickichanga with country potatoes and fresh fruit was delicious. I appreciated the little touches like a carafe of cold water in the table. When I couldn’t finish my breakfast, I also appreciated that they gave me a cardboard to-go container instead of cardboard. Prices are reasonable. Staff are friendly and attentive. There is street parking, but if no spaces are available, there is a handy parking garage right next door. It is convenient but did cost $15 for two hours parking.
Jaime Rogers: They have really good food. My husband loves the Millionaires Bacon. If you go soon try the Purple Haze Lemonade. Our server was excellent, but the hostess was not friendly.Recommended dishes Million Dollar Bacon …More
Jesmin de Gómez: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5More
jac Black: I had the biscuits and gravy,to be honest its overrated, scouts honor Hardee's biscuits and gravy is better, but if your in the crowd that wants to look bougie then this is the place for you and btw somebody please tell me why the million dollar bacon cost so much when they just drizzle honey on top of it? Next time ill stop by the bank first to take out a loan .
Eric Snowden: Food is good but waitress who took my order at 1015am today was very rude. Im only assuming she thought i was homeless. Very short and mean after i "interrupted" her conversation with old guy (seemingly a future "sugar daddy").I noticed after i sat and waited for my food she was extremely cordial with everyone in the store that was not of darker pigmentation. Very bad experience today and im confused as to why this downtown location allows people tl serve guest that potentially will always be black or brown.

Joe S: First visit and it was amazing! I’m pescatarian and there were plenty of options so I can’t wait to explore the menu. Friendly staff. Great food. I also bought bottles of both of their hot sauces after discovering just how delicious they are.
Lets Talk Money: Tone Robertson: They are a little more expensive then your Denny's or IHOP but its sooooo good. I recommend. We go occasionally maybe one Saturday a month.Food: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Wesley McKoy: Everything was fabulous!! The coffee, the atmosphere, and of course the breakfast!
Emma Lechner: This place was so good! I got a hazelnut latte (a go-to choice for me at various breakfast restaurants) and I genuinely think it was the best one I've ever had. Maybe the best latte. It was very creamy and light, the hazelnut flavor wasn't overpowering. 10/10I had their Chilaquiles Verdes and they were also 10/10. So filling, very flavorful, especially with the added chorizo. We also got the Hey Ricky! Omelet, and the corned beef and hash. It's hard to recommend one over another because they were all so good.Even my leftovers were amazing the next day.

Mel Rodriguez: New favorite place in Indy to get breakfast. I had heard from many people that it was good and my family and I were not disappointed. Great portion sizes and options.Delicious Biscuits and Gravy, seasoned potatoes, and drinks. My favorite was the Nutella crepes and biscuits and gravy.
Ryan B: We've been to yolk several times. Their pancakes and most other menu items are good, but the crepes are really bad. They are strangely thick for crepes, and the amount of fruit and nutella isn't enough for such thick crepes. It almost tasted closer to injera than a crepe. Anyway, avoid the crepes and it'll be a good breakfast/brunch.
Efrain Moreno: Nice place clean and well staffed. No impressed with management. Boss walked around with his chest pumped out and bad attitude and kept taking employees behind closed doors to give them barking orders I guess. Waitress Stephanie was fantastic and very friendly and said thank you. No one said good morning or thank you at the host desk or even said thank you for coming on the way out. Good food, clean place but could improve on customer experience if you want repeat customers.
Lydvine A. Marlene: This place is mid and expensive for breakfast. Service was great and menu is pretty neat. Although the crepes were not the best. They were a bit hard to taste. Every thing that comes with the crepes comes at a cost. Be aware of the menu and selections. I think it should be revised. Also the fresh made strawberries-Orange juice were served in very little quantity without refill for a large amount of cost. The good thing is you can pay over the phone using Apple Pay without waiting for the server.
Eric Marasco: Outstanding! Food was great and super friendly staff. Great breakfast place…one of the best in the city! Highly recommend.

Grayce Verkuilen: BEST PLACE ON EARTH Totally 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.
Kyle Miller: I've always liked coming to wild eggs for the chicken infused waffles. So of course that's what I got, and my wife got country fried steak. The flavor for both were on point! However, they both were some of the toughest meats I've tried to eat. For both of them it was a task just trying to cut the meat with a knife. With that being said, I won't let this experience deter me from coming back. Hopefully it was just a one off experience.
Ron Fisher: Great spot for breakfast, food was good service was good. Our steak benedict came out well done, we asked for medium rare knowing places like this always over cook it. They did. The home fries are good but you dont get much of them.Food: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Jermaine White: I came to this restaurant for the first time for a morning meeting: so here's an unbiased review. At first glance, I love the hippie, eclectic feel and warmth of the establishment. I mean, it is super cool. Different daily quiche options, both in vegetarian and meat options. Pancakes, scramble builds, omelettes: everything that you would want in a breakfast cafe.I ordered the pulled pork quiche and two cheesecake pancakes. The pancakes or a popular item so I have to try them. The pulled pork quiche was pretty good - lots of flavor, perfect texture, great portion, etc.The pancakes, however, although they were bigger than the plate (which was huge), they were gummy and chewy in texture. They were so gummy that it was hard to cut the pancake with both the fork or the knife. Now, I'm not a chef, but I'm not a stranger to the kitchen either, especially when it comes to pancakes, because they are literally my fave. The chewy texture from the pancakes proves to me one thing: they over mix their pancake batter. When pancake batter is over mixed, there's a chemical reaction in the batter, that when cooked makes the pancakes really chewy. And that was a no go for me.Since I'm a pancake lover, my motivation for the review is the pancakes, but the other things mentioned above are true. Great vibe, nice staff, good quiche, but the pancakes were a no for me!
KT Berry: Fantastic everything! It is our new regular meet up spot for my dad and me! Food and servi e, on point!!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Traditional Eggs Benedict, Cheesecake Pancakes …More
Tom Ludwig: This place has a great, artsy fun atmosphere. Great service and amazing food cooked simply. One of the best omelets in the city and the ham and Swiss Melt is to die for. One of my favorite brunch places hands down!Parking: Parking is a bit limited.
Nicole Struble: This adorable restaurant has more than enough on the walls to keep you occupied with a game of eye spy! The food is consistently delicious, service is normally a reasonable length of time despite being packed.
Courtney Cady: We love Ruth's. ❤️ They have a very fun, eclectic atmosphere! They also have a really great + unique menu. Never disappointed!Food: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Traditional Eggs Benedict, Chorizo Skillet, Chorizo Biscuits and Gravy …More
Jonathan Roos: Was told 15-20min wait. Waited 30-40, never got a table, walked out. They need to learn wait time. Telling everyone who walks in the door 15-20mins when there's already 4-5 familys waiting doesn't work.
Mark and Renee Foor: Best coffee. And when you order tea- it's loose-leaf and comes in a little clay tea pot!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Daniel Krouse: Excellent food! Try the scones!
The Dining Grandpa: This place, is an oddly decorated and eclectic restaurant. I had the traditional, eggs Benedict this morning, which was very tasty indeed. Shaved Ham on top ofan English Muffin and two poached eggs and potatoes for 12 dollars. A side order of toast with grape jelly and a piping hot delicious coffee. I really liked this place it had a down home feeling. No two tables, chairs, or coffee cups were identical, so on and so forth. Just like sitting around the table at home when I was a kid. Over the top great service, followed by good food at more than affordable prices. Hope to return soon and try something different. I highly recommend this place. 👍👍
Gary Tucker: As someone who travels 100% of his time, it's hard to find such a wonderful place as Ruth's Cafe. It just has a warm and welcoming atmosphere that is fostered by everyone there from the hostesses to the busboy, they couldn't be nicer. Now about the food. I can't stop going here because everything I eat is amazing, From their "homemade" items like the Corned beef Hash to their homemade jams and jellies I haven't found an item I wouldn't eat 10 times in a week.If you find yourself on the north side of, or just passing through, Indianapolis this is a must-stop for everyone. But keep in mind that they are only open from 7am - 2pm every day and you can eat an amazing breakfast of Sausage Gravy and Biscuits or try one of their incredible "Benedicts"...This is a 10-star place and should be on your "Must do" list...
David Cunningham: This is one of my favorite brunch spots in Indy!Great food, friendly service, and the artwork makes for such a fun atmosphere
