Katy Urbano: bless 🙌🏼 indy laptops fixed my 11 year old mac in under 6 hours for less than $250!! when i brought it in, she knew exactly what the issue was based off my quick description of it “running slow and issues with the track pad” .. anywhere else would have no question charged over $500 or talked me into buying a new laptop. and to add to the deal jean was very friendly and kind! they even cleaned it up for me (sorry for the debris, it’s traveled a lot of places with me over the years lol). i’ll never go anywhere else for laptop repairs again. these guys are the bomb diggity.

They were able to diagnosis the problem which turned out to be a simple fix (if you know what you’re doing) and did not charge me for the service. I was impressed by their competence and commitment to customer service and would definitely recommend you going to see them for any issues you might be having.

Andrew Riley: I called around everywhere trying to find someone to repair a micro-USB port on a motherboard for a guitar effects processor. Since the port was microsoldered on, everyone kept telling me no. Finally, someone pointed me to Ballard Computes. Despite the challenge of the task, it was obvious that he was equipped to take care of it and he even showed me his equipment and described how he planned to repair the part. I left feeling good, and shortly after, I returned home happy to have a fully functional effects board again!

Lettuce: Ballard Computes completed servicing my computer quickly. I brought it to him Tuesday afternoon to diagnose a no visual output from the gpu. The computer was fixed, posted, and benchmarked in 24 hours, a turn around 5x quicker than the large stores would take. Troubleshooting my problem wasn't an easy task. It required special software, and hardware that the big box store was charging well over $100 for, Marvin diagnosed the problem within minutes. Servicing my pc isn’t a small task. There is a massive gpu, 10 fans, modular cabling, an AIO, sata drives, NVME drives, etc. To complete this work in the time frame it was, takes skill, discipline, and a dedication to Grade A craftsmanship. Not only did Marvin complete the task quickly he provided me a method to selling my old hardware. Marvin is the real deal, you won’t be disappointed.

Hard drive was replaced and he even tightened some hinges free of charge. It runs so much better and the price wasn’t bad either. Would recommend going here.

Unfortunately the whole keyboard needed replaced because of the type of keyboard it is but he ordered a new one and got it done super fast! Alex Gilliam: Dude is cool, laptops a plenty, parts too, seems to know what ya need. Bought a new laptop (refurbished) after my last laptop could no longer run discord calls without maxing out its gpu. Thing is I bought that old laptop from here as well... 7 years ago. I like my cheaper more work focused laptops, this guy has the best around. But there is a lot of other stuff he can do, repairs too!Only issue is parking, kinda an awkward place but magoos pizza is next door, could park there and walk over, maybe grab a pizza while at it, magoos is a recommend too.
Aaron Bonar: These guys are amazing! I brought in my custom pc that I'd been working on for months. I couldn't get any video output and I'd run out of ideas on how to fix the computer. PC-Com had it for a day or two and diagnosed the problem right away. They finished the build for me and customized it a bit more for a very reasonable price. If you're having computer issues, this is the place to go!

Daniel Beaver: I came here to see if they had replacements for a few screws I had misplaced. It's a little hidden and hard to get in and out of due to the construction on Rockville Road (not the fault of the business) but the shop was very nice and clean, and offered a lot of services. The man working there was very friendly and didn't even charge me for the screws. I'll definitely come back here if I have a bigger issue.

Indy Go: The staff was very friendly, all said hello when I came in. The cashier or ? was easy to talk with. Some don't care but in today's environment I appreciate it. They were able to take my laptop in and have it fixed b4 24 hours. The entry exit is semi challenging but don't hold it against them .It's beyond their control, but in the end it will help them and all of us. Shop is full but not cluttered. It is also clean,you would think there would be dust and what not, but no, this mom and pop keep a good place. The only reason not 5 stars is I haven't had my laptop back a long time.

I went here to drop off my pc and all I had to do was fill out a personal information slip and explain what the problem was. I was greeted and served nicely, I was only in there for about 5 minutes. The called to address what the problem was and how much it would be to fix it. They have pretty reasonable prices. The called when the pc was fixed and ready to pick up and even kept the pc for a couple of days because I couldn’t pick it up right away with no fees! 100% good business, no sketchy stuff, they even gave me back the dead parts in a box with my pc to assure me they didn’t lie about the problem to take my pc parts and scam me. Highly recommend to go fix your pc here.. 👍

Mr. Henderson addressed my issues and ran a diagnostic check on the spot despite my not having an appointment. He identified the technical problems within minutes and answered all of my questions thoroughly. He understood that in my profession (private investigations), that I needed the laptop for work and was nice enough to make the repairs and adjustments while I waited. Now those of u who take online classes know that all assignments for that week are due Sunday by 1159pm, and I was in the final hour…u talk about someone sweating!! Thank goodness for OneDrive because I was able to log into my other laptop via this program and obtain the assignments I was working on and submit them at 1158 pm!! It kept giving me a message about my drive not being detected…well, what does that mean?? I don’t know…I’m a nurse..medical I know…technology…NOT!! I called this establishment as soon as I got off of work on Monday to inquire on the matter. I chose this business because it was the first one I came upon on the google search engine…I informed of the situation and he said yes of course, I can take a look at it and preceded to give me directions to his office…10 minutes later I walked in the office of course in a frenzy because my whole educational life is on this laptop!! He took all of 7 minutes to fix it!! When I tell u that if I could have hugged him(u know Covid) I would have, I almost cried tears!! He did not try to break my bank either with the repair costs. I truly appreciate him taking the time to correct this matter for me because all I continued to think about was all the work I was going to lose!!
