Sarah B: I absolutely should have asked more questions about the machine before booking here.I’ve been getting medical-grade laser hair removal done on my face monthly for over 10 years and I haven’t experienced this much pain (or any at all) since getting laser in high school. Which makes sense because the machine used here the same type of machine that I’d used 15 years ago; definitely old technology. No cryogen to counter the hot zaps like you’ll find on newer machines. Instead, there’s a “cooling element” that isn’t cold and does absolutely nothing to soothe pain.The laser technician was super, super sweet and understanding. I wasn’t upset with her; there’s nothing she can do about a really old machine. She gave me a cold towel for the pain and apologized. She called up Denise (owner) and I was refunded the remainder of my package and just charged for the one session. I couldn’t have asked for more than that.Tl;dr- Great staff but there are MUCH better laser hair removal options available that use newer machines, for the same price, which can give solid results without much pain (if any at all).

I was NEVER once informed when I bought the gift card the services had a expiration date of 6 months. That being said, I do find it odd the word "numerous" times is being used when the gift card was only discussed one time before I got a call the services were expiring. Being that pregnancy lasts 9 months it isn't possible to have used the services and that was the big selling point for me. I was definitely informed at the time of purchase there would be lasers in the bag, despite the comment below. Also yes I am aware that the 500 dollar goes on my account but without the above selling point, I would have never just dropped $500. Also confused where I was told about the expiration on numerous occasions as after I bought the gift card at the end of July, I hadn't been in until my pregnancy sickness let up.Started coming in 2019 and the majority of the staff is super friendly and have never gotten a bad facial! At the end of July, the staff was selling me their gift card promotion, (obviously their job!) Buy a gift card for 500 dollars and you receive over 1k in services/products such as laser hair removal, tattoo removal, dermaplane, IPL... all the stuff I would usually get! I was trying to conceive/ very early pregnant (openly talked about it with the staff) and figured I could use these services once baby came.. got a call a few months later my services were expiring in March. I spoke with/ emailed Mechelle and didn't get the most friendly response. I obviously would have not purchased the gift card pregnant if I would have known they expired. I even offered to use ALL of the services within a few weeks of my baby arriving but was told no exceptions.
