Lisa G: Why does kimba Credit Union not credit your account right away when you make a payment on a credit card? Instead, they wait a week to post it, while the balance on the card keeps accruing interest. How is this legal?
Erica Deem: I encourage everyone to join this credit union, as they get to know you, and because of that they work more closely with you and find solutions to meet your needs. We have even started 2 of our teenage kids here with accounts.
Jay Fleming: Definitely surprised by some of the negative reviews. I have been a member for several years, obtained two car loans, and most recently a Home Equity Line of Credit. The process every time was easy! Ashley and Jenn were amazing at getting my loans approved and closed quickly! KEMBA will always be my go to for loans! Contrary to the negative reviews, they do take care of their members! I highly recommend KEMBA to everyone!
Craig Morris: I have been a member since 1992 or so, checking, savings, visa and auto loan and have never had any issue at all. They are very friendly and helpful. Obviously, I am a little distant from the Shortridge location ( Credit Union Shared Services work) but always helpful to me.Over the years newer faces have popped up and they are still as pleasant.Keep up the GREAT job!!
James Huxtable: Worst credit union ever. If you use cashapp you are limited to 3 transactions per day. If you buy crypto off exchanges like most do your card will decline. I have traveled out of town used my kemba debit card and my transaction has gotten declined and my card instantly shut off because they suspect possible fraud. It's the weekend they are not open so I had no access to my funds. (Happend several times) .They say call and let them know before you go out of town to avoid that. I guess never have an emergency or wake up on the weekend and decide to have a getaway. And if you need to make a deposit after hrs at this location it's a good chance the ATM isn't working. If I could give kemba zero stars I would.
Amy Stahlman: No way to turn off debit card online when obvious fraud has occurred. Service agents are rude and unhelpful. Fraud department is non-existent. Go with free checking at your local bank branch, not this mom and pop operation.

amanda maybe: I had applied for an auto loan and a representative named Alexandra called me she was rude from the start. I asked her to hold on the o get the address of my employer she was on hold about two minutes and hung up on me when I asked why she lied and said she was on hold 8 minutes which doesn't make sense why should would lie like I wouldn't know how long I had her on hold. Then proceeded to cut me off and said do you wanna finish the application or not. I asked if it was acceptable for her to speak to customers that way she of course had no answer and continued to be rude and dismissive. I refuse to do business with a bank that allows this type of behavior. She also claimed to be a manager which if she is says a lot about a company and whether they value their members. I will be closing my account.

I read the reviews before going to this bank & most of the reviews was good thats what made me want to deal with them but this jennifer lady is so picky i can't take it. She told me she just now signed a loan with someone from Jan wow that is a long time so i guess i won't get approved til Sept😩

M C: I was referred by a friend to Kemba Credit Union in 2012 for an auto loan. My credit wasn't the best and I wanted to finance a vehicle, without a co-signer. Kemba worked with me to get the car I wanted, comfortable payment amount and a good interest rate for my situation...all with great people that were willing to help. I am now going on my third auto loan with them, as my vehicle was recently totaled. Jen is amazingly on top of her game, friendly, easy to work with and knows what she is doing, inside and out. With them reporting to the credit bureaus and me having a pretty good payment history over the years, my interest rate is at least half as much as my original loan. I would absolutely recommend Kemba Credit Union and Jen for your auto loan.

Christina P: Not a pleasant experience with them. Was making on time payments then hit a hardship and informed them that I was not dodging my loan, but needed a little time to get back to work. They sent my account to collections within 2 months of my missed payment. The collection agency/attorney firm they use added 1k in attorney fees and interest to my loan which is more than my loan was for. Would not recommend!
