Lockerbie Lofts Apartments: what do users think?
Chica Ketterman: The old management was horrible, but new management is great and communicative. Thank you for working with me and my crazy work schedule.
Jeffrey Harsin: Maintenance came to my apartment within minutes of the request. Very professional and courteous. Issue was resolved quickly.
Omolola Falusi: I'm still trying to figure out why I cannot have a fixed monthly rent fee, there's a sudden difference of $21 in one month who knows if next month is going to be additional fixed amount
Janice Parnell: This property is beautiful and the management is such a pleasure to work with. Great downtown location!!!×
Jacob Papp: If you want to live in a horribly mismanaged, overpriced community, this is the place for you! If you like being belittled by management when you have any discrepancy or question, you are going to love it here. This place is the worst. It was great when I first moved in, but new management has really ruined it. Already being overcharged by standard of how much space we had, they tried to raise our rent by several hundred dollars. This price increase was inconsistent across the community as some neighbors saw a nominal bump, while others saw upwards of a $500 increase! The floor plans are trash. The two bedroom has a room without a window. If you enjoy living in a cave then I encourage you to move here. The worst part of all is the incompetent management. They are rude, dishonest, and lazy. I am really sad that the old management left as they were great.I can't say enough bad things about this place, and how they have a 4.0 rating is laughable.
Samantha: This place is managed by the sweetest people. I moved out like 2 years ago and still remember how well they treated me, especially during the pandemic. They keep the place clean and are responsive.
Kyle Hirtz: Great property! Skyler was so kind and made me feel very welcomed. I had no idea how truly nice the apartments and amenities were until I was in them! I really appreciated all the help and the attention to detail in explaining how the leasing process works. I decided on renting a house closer to my work but thank you Skyler and Lockerbie Lofts for the pleasant experience 👍🏼
Hayden Weaver: Though I ended up getting a home instead of an apartment, Skyler and staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming and gave me the best experience while we were apartment hunting. Strongly recommend to anyone looking to move downtown!
Johnson: This has been the perfect place to live during my time here in Indianapolis. I moved here from Chicago a couple years ago and have been so blessed to call this place my home since then. The staff is outstanding and super friendly, the amenities are amazing, and the rent is very affordable and reasonable. The maintenance staff is highly professional and has a very quick turnaround time on any maintenance requests. The units are super comfortable and modern. Plus the garage parking is awesome to have especially during the winter months. Highly recommend Lockerbie Lofts!
Phalanx 220: Great place to live. Lively crowd, Great office staff. I highly recommend.
Scott Klemme: Nice Lofts but the real expensive cars are close to Mass Ave
Katie English: The staff are great but the management has gone downhill since Matt and Jasmine left. The elevator in my building still goes out of service almost weekly. And the fitness center was closed for several months to be renovated. Management offered to pay for a membership to the YMCA to make up for it, but I already have a YMCA membership. One of the reasons I chose Lockerbie was to be able to just wake up and go downstairs to the fitness center to get in a quick workout before work. They expanded the fitness center into the bike storage room. So I’ve been storing my bike in my apartment for several months now since I’m not sure if they built another bike storage room?Just an overall lack of organization and communication.
Edward Horton: The staffing is the best. One feel safe and secure. I tell you there is no place better to live. This is my home for life. You won't have any problems. All the people living here are nice to have around. This place is nice.
Lawrence Walter: Great value and location apartment complex. Pool is awesome and staff go the extra mile to make living experience hassle free.
Ian Bodkin: I lived here for a year from October 2018 to October 2019. The reviews below are not inaccurate, but all of the concerns listed have been addressed by the current management. There is now a security lock from the parking garage to the stairwells and the leaking ceilings are no longer an issue. They have been working to address any additional issues that are brought up by residents in a timely manner. As with any change of management there were a few hiccups, but I had nothing but positive experiences with the property management when I needed to talk to them. In addition to the infrastructure changes that were made once the new management group took over, they have started to spruce up the common areas that were looking a little shabby. The location could not be better, and I really appreciated the things they do for their residents like the free Starbucks coffee machine, Wine on Wednesdays, quarterly parties with free food for residents and their guests. Overall, I would highly recommend Lockerbie Lofts to anyone looking for a place to live in the heart of downtown Indy.
Sharon Zhou: This property has nice amenity, but is terribly managed.Matt and Jasmine used to be great, however, management changed since Jan 2019 and everything went downhill. The new management started with terrible communications in the beginning, leaving residents confused. The auto payment had problems during the transition, but was later fixed. This place has serious safety concerns - there has been bikes stolen from storage room, cars broken into in the parking garage, and my own car stolen from the parking garage (you read that right). While it's not entirely the property's fault that those things happened, the way they handled it was just awful and totally lacking sympathy. Here's a response I got from the leasing office manager after voicing my concern ard safety: "While we know that you pay for a garage space, the space you pay for is advertised from our end as covered parking. Crime has no address, and we do not promote as being able to prevent crime." I was very disappointed abt the way things were handled. On daily issues, response is very slow and ever since I sent in lease ending notification, my call was never picked up. The last straw was after I moved out, they sent me a bill claiming that the valet trash can wasn't left in the room, when it clearly was. I'm going to dispute the charge, but it just feels they try every way to make residents' life miserable. There's some rent promotion going on. After my personal experience w. this property, I wouldn't live there even it was for free. I recommend everyone to read the reviews thoroughly, esp. the ones after Jan 2019.
Sean jones Jones: Good people I love this place
Dylan Jacob: This place looks great from the outside, but is one of the most poorly ran apartments I have ever lived in.1. They claim the building is secure, but it’s not. If you’re accessing the building from the first floor doors or lobby you need a key pass to get in. Whoever designed the building decided you don’t need a keypass to get onto the first floor from the garage.. which would be fine if you needed a keypass to get in the garage, but you don’t. You can easily push a button on the garage door entrance to get a “ticket” and gain access to the garage which gives you access to the building without any keys needed. It also leaves all vehicles exposed as the garage is accessible by anyone by simply pushing a button for a ticket.2. The parking garage is located underneath the building and has VERY steep ramps leading down to the parking garage door. EVERY SINGLE YEAR, during winter, they don’t salt the ramps so people slide down the ramp and go straight through the garage door. To add icing on the cake, they will attempt to make you use your own insurance to cover the damages caused by their negligence. Once the door is damaged, they just leave the garage doors open for weeks at a time, allowing anyone access to your vehicles and also to your residence. No keypass needed.3. I had a neighbor who constantly smoked cigarettes in his apartment, blared music, stunk up the entire floor, and they never did a single thing about it. I complained 5+ times about him dancing in the alleyway shirtless while listening to EDM at 7am and other super weird, eccentric encounters and nothing was ever done.4. The parking garage underneath leaks calcium deposits from all the water / rain coming from the pool / common area upstairs going through the concrete. There are a TON of spots in the garage where if you park, your paint will get RUINED by these calcium deposits. Management, to this day and to my knowledge, has never addressed this issue, put out cones, or let any residents know about the possibility of having your paint job completely ruined by their garage. There are actual stalagmites growing from the floor in some places, you can’t make this up.Save your money and go somewhere else, I got out of there as fast as I could.
Keisha Norris: Was there for an Airbnb and it was not great. But the lofts seemed nice but walls were kind of thin. Nice people working there and nice paint colors on the hallway walls.
Drew Forbes: I'll be moving out of state soon, and slogging through apartment reviews again has given me a much stronger appreciation for how great Lockerbie Lofts has been over the last two years. It's a nice location, plenty of stuff nearby, rooms are nice, but really what's mattered to me are the intangibles. The staff are super friendly and helpful, I've never had to fight them on maintenance or payment issues, and for the most part all of the residents are friendly and relatively quiet. The pool can get a little rowdy on Summer weekends but that's about it. Sound isolation between apartments side-to-side is great although I do hear my upstairs and downstairs neighbors from time to time.Idk it's a nice place and one of my main concerns moving out is trying to find somewhere else with a helpful and competent staff and a fun but not fratty atmosphere. Will miss Lockerbie Lofts

Harness Factory Lofts and Apartments: what do users think?
Erica Conley: Beautiful and very quiet very convenient for dinner they have hot box pizza and a gas station inside the doors then a nice bar that always looks like a great time plus free washer and dryer in the laundry room plus private parking
Lizi Bolles: Justin was helping me out and gave me a few tours, and he went above and beyond! He showed me multiple complexes outside of the ones I had requested to see, and got all of the forms filled out very quickly.
Julian Weidner: Do no move here. The build, residents, and maintenance staff are all very cordial. The issue is with the administrative team. I HAD TO LEAD The conversation on my move out. Then I was charged an extra month of rent. After squaring that away, and assuming everything was good... it wasnt.Moved out 4/29 (on my move out statement, i had moved out after a few months of living there, but maintained payment for the duration of my lease)I received my "Move out statement" 5/25 w/ May rent requested, and obviously not paid. We argued against that. They said they got it all sorted.I find out that they sent me to collections for $250 on 06/028 days after they told me it was good.Save your time money, and energy. Do not live in this place.
Joe Becker: This is a wonder place to live. The staff is great and takes care of things in a timely manner. Location can’t be beat!
Alyssa Nelson: Great location & staff!
Colton Page: Tyler was very well informed and does a great job, and he has helped make the move-in process less stressful for me. The apartment was in great shape during our walk-through as well.
Kaitlyn Schriver: I was in need of a last minute short-term lease, and found it here at Harness Factory Lofts. Tyler Shaw was incredibly helpful throughout the process of moving, and continues to be a helpful resource as I settle into my new temporary home
Jason Mazur: Love the loft style apartments. Reasonably priced for downtown. Pretty much as downtown as can be. Next to everything. Interiors are really nice. New appliances. Staff is helpful. Especially Tyler (Shaw). He is great. Went above and beyond for a few minor issues I had then followed up just to make sure everything was taken care of. I would definitely recommend these apartments if you are looking to live downtown
Rachel Stephens: Definitely not worth the location. Once you are moved in management will most likely never answer your calls again. I have had multiple packages stolen from the lobby. Sometimes packages get left outside of the apartment complex, and if you are not there to grab them they are stolen as well. My car along with several other cars were broken into in the parking garage. There are not any cameras, so nothing was done about the packages or my car. The maintenance team is good about fixing things in your apartment, but everything else in the building, not so much. The elevators and also the freight elevator are not reliable and neither are the washers and dryers that are in the parking garage. The key fob system has gone down a couple times as well locking anyone who has a key out of the apartment complex. The negatives definitely outweigh the positive and it is not worth it.
Corey Stone: Nice apartments, but management is nearly impossible to get ahold of. Went 6 days without hot water.
Alex Cox: Harness Factory is a fun, unique property with one of the best locations downtown Indy has to offer. I loved my time here!
Dani Rizer: I would absolutely NOT recommend living here. I’ve lived in several apartments and have never had experiences like I’ve had here. For starters, I’ve had SEVERAL pieces of mail/packages stolen (hundreds of dollars worth) by residents and Harness Factory Lofts absolutely refuses to do anything about it, claiming that “installing any camera is not in their budget” .... even though I pay 1500 dollars for rent in an apartment that is certainly not even worth that much. The gym is missing half the weights (stolen by residents I would assume) and they’ve made no attempt to secure new ones, even though this is an “amenity” that is advertised as a perk of living here. In addition, there are no supplies to clean any of the equipment in the gym... during a pandemic. The elevators are FREQUENTLY broken, so if you live on the top floor, good luck! I got stuck riding up and down in an elevator last week for over five minutes and the doors would not open. This place is literally falling apart and management does not care. In addition to the elevators, the key fobs stop working sometimes as well. I got locked out of the building several times. Their solution is to hold the doors open with something, letting anyone in to a “secure building”. I also got locked out at 6am when it was pitch black outside and wouldn’t have gotten in if it wasn’t for someone else who got a hold of their roommate to let us in.Also, the entire building smells of cigarettes because of residents smoking in their apartments and in the stairwells. Signs were put up discouraging smoking... but there isn’t anyone in management ever in the building so how would anyone get caught (again... no cameras). Besides the smell of cigarettes, it’s just very very dirty. Thankfully nobody has destroyed an elevator with puke in a while, but they frequently have trash in them or they smell horrendous due to god knows what being thrown in there.I didn’t want to resort to leaving a bad review, but I’ve had too many negative experiences living here. I’ve sent several emails and gotten no reply. I did get a very passive aggressive voicemail, which was absolutely unnecessary and unhelpful.I ignored any bad reviews I saw because I wanted to believe that they were isolated incidences. Please do NOT live here... I wish I didn’t have to.
Leah Miller: I attempted to tour this property and the communication of the management was beyond poor. They offered me a time slot to tour which I confirmed a week in advance but when I showed up the leasing agent that I spoke with acted like she didn't know me or that I had a tour scheduled. She was short with me and made it seem like I was wasting her time. Unfortunately, I was not able to tour the apartments so I can't comment on the building itself but the management proved to be unorganized and unprofessional. Glad to say I'll be avoiding this management!
Dre Suttle: I just moves in and the property manager Samantha Young has been such a great help. She is very professional and she is one of the nicest people I have met. I can tell this front office is working here for their residents and I seriously look forward to living in the Barness Factory for quite a while. If you are looking to move downtown indy i suggest talking to Sam first.
Casey Pruitt: My girlfriend and I moved here from California last October! We had to do all of the paperwork from 2,000 miles away. Sam was amazing in assisting us. She sent us İnterior pictures of the available units and we were able to make our decision from afar. Our unit is spacious, has hardwood floors, and the underground gated garage parking is great. We love being so close to all of the action that downtown has to offer.
shenita golder: Best location In the city! Building is always maintained. I love that management always make sure maintenance request are fulfilled in a timely manner. Also, notifications are emailed and posted for all residents con concerning our building. I love living at Harness Factory Lofts!
Raleigh Harper: Harness Factory is an amazing place to live. In the heart of Downtown Indy with unique spacious floor plans great for entertaining and work from home space! The office staff is very friendly and always available to help. Commercial space in front is fun and convenient! I am glad to call this place home and would recommend to all my friends!
Aaron Veach: Outstanding location! Most of downtown’s sporting events, shopping, restaurants and bars are within walking distance. Apartments are very spacious. Love the exposed brick and hard wood floors. The office staff has always been incredible to me and has addressed any of my concerns quickly and professionally.
willie beamn: This place is awesome. The amenities are impeccable. I love the convenience of the location and friendly atmosphere. I recommend to all of my friends and family.
Ashley Kemp: Great location! Within walking distance to work and friendly office staff. The only thing missing is a pool or hot tub.
Seth Pennington: I am going to take a very practical approach to this review.Pros:-Sam, the Building Manager, is phenomenal. She deserves better than a 1-star personally (probably a significant raise).-Maintenance requests were typically pretty timely and needs were met. Younger guy working in maintenance is super nice and helpful.-Building is within walking distance to Bankers Life Field house, Lucas Oil, and a number of bars and restaurants.-Most apartments are pretty spacious in size.-Rent is affordable comparative to some other locations downtown.-You at least have the option to park in a garage (even though it is about a block or two away).Gear up for this section, it is going to get lengthy.Cons:-Upon my visit (leasing agent no longer employed) I was told a lot of "young professionals" live in the building. False. I wasn`t aware that young professionals pee/puke in elevators and hallways on weeknights? You are paying downtown prices to live in a glorified frat house.-The building is stained (puke and pee stains), smelly (wreaks of stale weed and alcohol) , and flat out dirty. A quick trip through the laundry room in the basement and hallways should be enough to prove this point for you. Residents trash the place.-Speaking of laundry, machines are often broken and disgusting.-Appliances and utilities inside the apartment are a joke. Water pressure, and heat are absolutely terrible. Appliances are dated. However, I have heard that you can pay more and get an updated apartment within the building. If you are going to pay more, you should go somewhere else.-Did you hear that? Yes, you did. Do you smell that? Yes, you do. Literally, you hear EVERYTHING your neighbors do or say. You can also smell everything coming through the vents. I could tell you what my neighbor is cooking, when they are smoking weed, and whether they needed to do laundry. No air freshener would solve this problem. The walls in this place are paper thin.-Speaking of neighbors, may the odds be ever in your favor. If you are placed next to the recently graduated frat guys gear up! I hope you don`t have a career you need to wake up for, cause it will NOT be quite. Also, hope you enjoy your clothes smelling like weed every day when you go to said career.-Can`t I just call the Compliance Officer (which I was told is living in the building) like the leasing agent said? Yeah, sure, go ahead and give that number a call. You are going to be met with a "voicemail box is full" message. This guy is an absolute joke. Never answers the phone, and probably lives there for free. if you want to get his attention you`ll have to text him. Otherwise, good luck.-Construction around the building is loud, annoying, and constant.-Water leaks seem to be prevalent in this building. i see other reviews experienced them, and my apartment had damage that had been repaired also.-While you have the option to park in the garage which beats fighting for street parking, it does suck walking that far to your car everyday especially in rain or snow.-This building may look secure, but it is not. On multiple occasions I have left work in the morning only to find people sleeping in the lobby or asking for money. Once a guy was just wondering the lobby threatening people on my way out. Who needs coffee? That will wake you up.Suggestions: Unless you are only moving in the go out and stumble back, pick somewhere else. Pay the extra money and move somewhere nicer. Due to a select group of residents and their friends, this place can often feel like nothing more than a glorified frat house. If you do choose to visit, I would recommend not touring during the week. You are going to get a staged version. Probably visit Saturday morning and get a better idea for the environment.

Lofts on Madison: what do users think?
Marquese Martin-Hayes: Avoid this place at all costs. Unfortunately I signed a lease that I am working on breaking. Leasing does not care to respond as I have been trying to get a hold of them since April. They do not pick up the phone when you call their leasing office. You can hear your neighbor sneeze, plenty of water leaks, and overall communication is 0. I seriously hope you don't think the brick walls and wood floors are worth this type of treatment. There are a lot of amazing apartments going up in this area for a similar price, amenities, communication, and some peace and quiet. Not to mention you can hear the Bar downstairs all hours of the night. When they clean up the bar.. around 11 or so, be prepared to have a sing a long from the 90's I can recite their playlist. For your own sake really look elsewhere, it has all the makings of a beautiful place but IT IS NOT WORTH ITupdateRyan got back to me and was very quick to resolve the issues. Not sure about the breakdown in communication prior but Updating the review to 3 stars

Stadium Lofts: what do users think?
April Gettelfinger: Loved my apartment so much, was gorgeous and exactly what I wanted.
IndyMotoRider: I've been living here for almost four months. Office staff are friendly, and I love my apartment's layout and aesthetic. Things I'm not fond of; walls are thin and don't seem insulated. I can easily hear my neighbor's conversations if I don't have a TV or music on. The person living above me either extremely heavy, or their ankles don't bend when they walk. It's probably made worse because the floors are concrete and they haven't bought any rugs/runners. Internet speed is an abysmal 50MB download 15MB upload. The AT&T installer spent 3 hrs trying to get better but said it couldn't be done with the existing building wiring. This is very disappointing considering the apartments opened less than 10 years ago.
Juan Estrada: Very nice interior. And complex looks very nice during the night time
Sunshine 69: My daughter lives here to many gates and locks and stairs.
Alec Harris: Apartment reeked of smoke when I moved in and half the appliances didn’t work. Staff extremely unhelpful and unapproachable. Intro meeting didn’t cover important details that are only included in a single email. Far too expensive for the lack of amenities. Do not live here.
Lucas Mattix: Nice guest bathroom
GOLDEN KEY LLC: I have lived at the stadium since December and I have had nothing but a great experience. I read the recent reviews about the shooting that happened recently HOWEVER, if the residents were so afraid after the fact about the gate being opened WHY HASNT ANYONE COMPLAINED BEFORE something actually happened? It wasn't an issue with it being open until now to them. I personally feel that if you did your research you would see the type of neighbor that is across 16th street. Also, if these residents that are complaining about the shooting were to understand EQUAL HOUSING opportunities and FAIR HOUSING as they act like they know then they would know the PM was right to say CRIME DOESNT HAVE AN ADDRESS! SHOOTINGS HAPPEN EVERY WHERE GEEZUS! I personally LOVE living here, I have an opportunity to move into a 4 bedroom house and im still on the fence because I love it here. STAFF IS AWESOME especially BRYAN and MIRANDA ❤️
Jake Henderson: This place has been nothing but exceptional for me. I’m a stones throw away from downtown and I always get help when I request it. I truly enjoy this complex and its community.
J H.: Due to an unforeseen event, I had to recently move to Stadium Lofts. First of all, I DO NOT recommend living here! I was under the impression that the property was secure, gated and under surveillance. On July 3, 2022, a reckless shooting occurred. The police department stated that one victim was shot while in their apartment! (I had to call myself to figure out what was going on) Several vehicles were also damaged. I thought that it would be standard protocol to notify residents of such an occurrence, but no e-mails or SMS notifications were sent at all. The following day, I called the leasing office to voice my concerns about what happened. I inquired about whether or not more stringent measures have been implemented, such as securing the gates during the day, and/or if there were any security cameras that would help identify the suspect(s). I was simply trying to identify if anything had been done to ensure resident safety. The leasing office staff member’s response was, "There is nothing that we can do, and the gates can’t be closed, that’s out of our control." She also stated, "Unfortunately, crime doesn't have a zip code." The gate closure has since been proven untrue, and I am appalled by her response. I am extremely dissatisfied with how things have been handled, and how I have been treated as a resident. The bigger picture and reason why I am bringing this situation to light, is because lives could have been lost. Overall, resident safety does not seem to be a prime concern. It is not clean/well-maintained, smells foul, and certain staff members could benefit from a bit of basic hospitality training.Note: Tori reached out to me regarding this review via text message days following. However, it was to notify me that I spoke to Maddy that day and not her. Nothing about the aforementioned event/concerns were mentioned.
CJ: I recently moved into stadium lofts and was excited as it seemed like a nice and safe place to live. However on July 3rd, 2022 there was a drive by shooting in broad daylight resulting in a resident being shot and at least eight cars peppered with bullet holes. When I addressed our safety concerns and suggested possible solutions to the property manager, my concerns were invalidated and I was told that there were no residents injured (despite personally seeing the injured man who was struck in the shoulder while sitting in his apartment and multiple news reports) and were told “these things can happen anywhere.” We were sent a complex-wide email that the gates were to be closed more frequently (not during business hours) but the shooting itself was not addressed. However, if dogs are seen without a leash or bikes do not have a sticker on them, a complex wide text and/or email is sent out promptly. I have personally witnessed a Police presence several times over the last few weeks concerning what I would consider loud and vulgar domestic disputes occurring outside of the building, but this concern was discounted by the property manager, as she told me that police are present primarily for “mental health checks”. It seems like the property manager and leasing agents are far more worried about small, trivial issues than ensuring a safe environment where families can feel comfortable living. This management company has zero regard for safety.
Ariel Leistner: Yesterday was a driveby shooting with a semiautomatic rifle in the middle of the day on sunday. Multiple cars got taken out. I’ve lived here for a month and took a bullet straight through my radiator because they claim to be “gated” but they leave the gates open even when the leasing office is closed. Keep in mind that i also pay $60/month to park in said “gated lot”.
Bry J.: There was a shooting on July 3, 2022 right in the middle of all the buildings. The shooter shot at a bunch of cars and 1 man was critically injured. Other residents were walking around going about their lives when this happened and they feared for their lives. A bunch of residents now have bullets in their car and their windows shattered. So many people could have been injured or died. The location of this building is in an area of high crime. And this isn’t the first time I hear gunshots go off around here. Management claims this building complex is gated, but the gates have unlocked pedestrian doors and clearly the car gate entrance didn’t stop the shooter from driving in. Please avoid this place!Aside from all the crime, management tows your car for no reason, charges too much for a cheap apartment, and all the employees act barbaric.
Zachary Perry: On July 3rd, 2022 there was a shooting in the parking lot. High rent, high crime, not worth it. Stay away from this place.
lukasz Bielanin: Be prepared to not ever have parking available
Kammy Kessler: Stadium lofts are fun, unique spaces that give a little something extra that you won’t see in your typical apartment designs. Tori was amazing and so kind. She was so helpful in our apartment search and went above and beyond to help us. Thank you.
Laquell J Entertainment: LOVELY PROPERTY!😉🧠
Cheyanne Waller: great security, neat design and a beautiful building
Anna Gustin: Just moved in and had a great experience with the staff! I had a lot of requests surrounding my move and they went above and beyond to be accommodating. Thanks Maddie!!
Zayden Wehrle: Office staff is amazing and understanding! I love the look of my apartment. I had a few maintenance concerns when I first moved in and they were prompt to take care of those for me! All and all would recommend!
filmon tesfamariam: First time moving to Indianapolis and stadium loft and it’s been amazing being a resident, the staff are easy to contact and communicate with any kind of issue, the maintenance also always friendly over all Great experience staying in stadium loft. FYI a pool would be great outside the stadium, that’s the only downside about stadium loft.
Kim Lippard: Nice

Temple Lofts: what do users think?
Nathalie Gallegos: Don’t come here unless you want your packages stolen.
Tracy Anastas: Welcome to Moldy Lofts!Short story: I do not recommend living here. These apartments have tons of mold growth.I lived at Temple Lofts for two years (new building). After a few months, my roommate and I began finding mold---everywhere. We found mold on windows, walls, floors, furniture, clothing/shoes, behind picture frames, books, and other personal items. I don't mean just a few specs. It was so bad that my roommate had to throw away her bookcase, and I threw out a desk. We are both very clean and tidy people! We informed the management, but they did nothing other than tell us to run fans during and after showers (which we were already doing) and provided tiny dehumidifiers (which did nothing). They even suggested that we run the AC during the winter! On top that, they told us we were the only people having issues with mold. We eventually knocked on our neighbors' doors and found at least 2 other units with the same issues.Yes, these apartments are affordable, newish, and close to downtown/IUPUI, but it's not worth it. Save yourself a headache and look elsewhere.
Brittany Hamrick: I have enjoyed living at Vanroy Properties! The office staff is always so courteous and responds in a timely matter. Any time I needed something fixed, maintenance was very quick to get it done. Downtown living is always a fun place to be. Definitely recommend one of their properties.
Drew Whiteman: I love this place!! Not only is the location perfect with the proximity to both IUPUI’s campus and Downtown Indianapolis, but the the apartment itself is awesome as well. The staff are friendly and quick to help in any capacity. I highly recommend these apartments.
M L: Was told by management they could do a 3 month short term lease on a 2 bed 2 bath for $1250 with one month free rent and after I filled out the application I was told that I would have to 6 month lease and the one month free rent did not apply for me.
Avi H: Living at the Temple was a pretty great experience for me.Firstly, I feel like the rent is extremely generous for the Downtown Indy area considering what you get. The units are all fully renovated, spacious, with granite countertops and wood-laminate flooring. Stainless steel appliances are a great flourish and give the units a modern look.Secondly, you're situated in a super convenient spot. Whether you're an IUPUI Student, working at an IU hospital, or working downtown, everything can be walked to (counting on weather).On-premise parking is a plus, though it can be a bit tight. I feel like they may have given out too many parking passes, as many times I would be unable to park after coming home, and would have to park on the adjacent Drake St. But Parking was free with rent, so can't complain!Overall, the place felt safe; they have keyless fob entry into the buildings, so there is some sense of security in that. High school kids would walk across the parking lot after school, but nothing more than that in terms of random people around here; it can be a lot worse around other places in Indy!I do wish that were there was an addendum to the building or some sort of modification to make moving in and out easier. There's no elevator; you have to rely on one, extremely tight, stairwell to bring your stuff in and out. I ordered a couch a couple years ago, but ended up having to return it since we couldn't get it up the stairwell =/. Because of this, that stairwell has taken a good beating, and can give off the wrong vibe about the maintenance of the place.A caveat (but possibly an advantage to many people) is how well insulated the place is. My apartment was baseline 70 Degrees + even on the coldest days. Depending on you, your AC could be getting a lot of work, even during the fall. The other problem this led to to was the amount of condensation that would befall the widows; so much moisture would build-up, it would accumulate and cause mold to grow on the windowsills. I think this may just be isolated to the unit I was in, but it was def a nuisance. Maintenance helped and took care of this for me.Overall, not much to say about management; I faced no problems, and whenever I called for maintenance, anything I asked for was fixed. Seems like Van Rooy has a good system in place around this.If you're looking for a nice, no frills place, with newer appliances, and located in a convenient part of the City, Temple is for you. Don't expect amenities upon amenities, that's not what this place is trying to be.
Kylie Sangar: Loved living here! The location is great and the apartments are beautiful. Highly recommend to anyone looking to live downtown!
Rachel Anne: My neighbor was robbed at gunpoint while living here. This is not a safe complex.
Donte Robinson: I have been living at this property for over 2 years and love it. The apartments have high ceilings and lots of character preserved from the church that was renovated into the apartment building. Just a quick five minute walk to the Canal and right next to the highway makes getting around very easy. Also, another perk of living here is that you are not in the heart of downtown so you avoid a lot of traffic. Five stars experience
courtney lasher: The apartments are beautiful and close to IUPUI's campus, which is nice; however, I have been less than impressed with the staff other than the maintenance people. Management is very bad about dealing with issues brought up by residents or even replying to emails at all. Overall, the residents there were awesome, but I couldn't recommend this apartment complex to anyone until the management steps up.
Molly Wallace: The apartment itself is not bad (which is the only reason it got two stars)However, the management is awful. Do not expect responses. If they by chance do respond, it is usually rude. They post important “notices” openly on doors (or maybe not at all). The callbox for most of the apartment has been broken since December. They have yet to fix it despite many complaint (6 complaints that I’m aware of). This apartment may seem nice, especially for the price, but save yourself some stress and choose a better place. In the end, you’ll pay thousands in unexpected charges.
Manal Saeed: Good and beautiful apartments, near of the downtown and IUPUI. The pictures that you see her is real. Good and helpful office

Harding Street Lofts: what do users think?
Lauren Daeger: Cameron is an incredible manager. She spent an hour and a half on a Friday afternoon with us thoroughly explaining our lease options, ins & outs, and answering every question we could think of. Incredibly friendly, warm, genuine energy that is hard to find in a property manager! She put us right at ease as we were exploring the community and that is worth so so much when renting.
Klaudia Wojciechowska: I’ve lived at Harding Street Lofts for about a year and a half. I really enjoyed it. The main building manager is wonderful and super responsive to emails and maintenance requests. They are fair, reasonable, and accommodating. The apartment building has a ton of students, but others live there as well. The downsides are the thin walls. In addition, the tall ceilings mean that the heating bill during the winter is super high.
Abigail Rahman: Honestly, best apartment I ever lived in. I lived in this apartment for two years. One year by myself and the second year with a roommate. I lived in I think the second smallest apartment. The staff/management were always professional and nice. They always remembered my name. They fixed issues within 24 hours. I lived on the 4th floor and had no issues with dust. You get use to the train. Granted I have always lived near trains. However, my roommate never did and she told me that after a week or two, she was use to them. She now lives on her own and she says she misses the train because it relaxes her.The only issue with the apartment is in the mornings trying to leave there is a lot of traffic on Harding Street. Generally someone lets you in. Though it might take 5 to 10 mins for that to happen.. But that's something the apartment can't control. The walls are a little thin but honestly that's most apartments. The apartments are very quite and I didn't have a Lot of noise issues.. the couple next to my bedroom did fight sometimes, but that was kinda entertaining. Overall, it's a great apartment. It is on the pricey side but you get a nice safe community to live in with great management.I also got all of my security/damage deposit back. So they don't try to keep that.
KEVIN ALLAN: Do not live here. I had a very bad experience living here. Not worth the price ! Another cheaply made downtown apartment. I do not like core redevelopment!
Kaylee McCracken: You could not ask for better management at this place. Cameron and Tim are the dream team when it comes to apartment living. You can’t beat the price for the location downtown. Our apartment with character will be missed.
Leah Etoama: We have lived here for about 8 months now and absolutely love the building and the staff. Cameron who manages the building is so sweet and the maintenance staff has always been quick and courteous. We absolutely love living here!
Kate Bemis: The building is gorgeous and the staff is great.
Matt: Paper thin walls so I could hear and smell my neighbors.
Alessa Quinones: The apartment facility is beautiful and that is what attracted me to it. The exposed brick walls and concrete floors give it a fun industrial feel. The staff was also very pleasant and maintenance was so great! However, the walls are paper thin and you can hear everything around you (and I mean everything). I could hear my next door neighbors talking and watching tv. I could also hear the people above me walking around and could hear anytime they dropped something. So if you are a light sleeper or are bothered by hearing neighbors or people in the hallways, think twice about living here.
Josh Klaben-Finegold: Pros: Location, price, amenities, this place has got CHARACTER :)Cons: Noise, sawdust from ceilings, high management turnoverMy Story:I've lived at HSL for almost two years now in a two bed/two bath and I'm planning to move into a one bed at the end of July for my third year here. I haven't had too many noise issues, but my room is on the top floor and on the NW corner of the building, so I have two outside wall, my roommate and our common area bordering my room (I'm a little spoiled, probably). If you can swing the 4th floor, it is a little quieter and the rain on the roof is so relaxing. The exposed brick, concrete floors and original 12-14ft wood ceiling are great as well (except that in high wind when the building shakes, there will occasionally be saw dust from the ceiling). The appliances are still relatively new and while only of middling quality, they work well. Whenever I've had issues (clogged drain, leaky faucet... nothing major) service has always been very quick and professional. They've also let us modify the apartment a bit, which was nice; we added a black steel pipe (same as the exposed sprinkler pipes) from a wall to a wood pillar to hang our pots and pans on in the kitchen. The tenant before us also added a light switch and a ceiling box, to which I added some home-made lights. All in all, I'm very pleased with HSL, they've been good to us/me despite the high management turnover rate and compared to other places downtown, it's very competitive, if not the best.
Alexander Goldman: VERY thin walls lots of kids (college). Office hours are very sporadic some days noon to three. No mail delivery of packages. If they sign for it, good luck picking it up. They access you place without 24 hour notice. Maybe that's not a law in Indiana. In most states it is, and seems really odd. Did I mention the kids? Not bad for a temp move if you work a lot, but not good for a place to remain.
Emily Taing: Pros: Washer and dryer in unit. Packages delivered to your apartment.Cons: VERY THIN WALLS. Sawdust falls from entire ceiling. Do not recommend if you are a graduate student, medical/dental student, or working professional who wants a quiet environment. The apartment complex mainly has undergraduate students from IUPUI who are very disrespectful of their neighbors. If you need a quiet place to be productive/study/get good rest this is not the place for you. Despite multiple complaints to management, noise has continued. Be prepared to sleep with headphones on. If you are looking to party, play loud music, yell at the top of your lungs and have no repercussions this IS the place for you.
