Brad Thurber: Full disclosure. We just ordered 2 couches and so do not have them yet. They are supposed to arrive in 8 to 10 weeks.This place is different in a good way. Super helpful. The floor sample couches were immediately more comfortable than comparable priced elsewhere. Everything is custom but if you can afford to wait longer for what appears to be higher quality than this is the place to go. Custom is not important to me but quality is.It is a very small store. They recommend you make a reservation for weekdays so they can go through everything with you. They hours are limited.

You can customize the look and feel of your furniture, which is awesome, although do be aware it takes about 6 weeks for them to custom make your furniture, but delivery is free once it's ready. I never felt "pushed" into buying anything, either, which is something I hated about the big name furniture stores.

These are all privately owned and whomever owns this location must not care what the customer experience is about. It’s truly pathetic how they treat you as a customer. Also, the representatives work only a couple days a month so they are clueless and tell you to contact back when your rep is working. The process needs a huge overhaul. I am happy I found an independent person for I can’t stomach this place anymore. Awful experience every time!! Shame on you.

Laura Batey: Besides bakeries, I like to check fabric and craft stores when traveling. If you go to a local store, they sometimes have different fabric than the chain stores. They also normally have more samples displayed and sometimes offer classes.

Cary O: Great fabric choices. It is expensive in general. They charge quite a bit to just come and measure along with install. It is $300.00 for this and one window is just long panels which is instal a rod and hang. I think this is a bit outrageous. Many other outfits include the install and charge $75.00 for measurements. I also struggled with the schedules of the customer service reps. I got a quote, never got a follow up and could have lost the sale price if they hadn't honored it. Then I paid well over 75% up front and told 6-8 weeks to find it will be more like 10 and I'm going to say 12 weeks to get final installed product. They make you feel like your putting them out, however your spending $$$$$$$$$.

Matt Millard: The staff at Lovesac were professional, very knowledgeable of their product and great to work with. I only give them four stars because when asked to delay the delivery, they told me that could be done once FedEx, their shipper, notifies me of the order and then it is as simple as requesting a vacation hold for up to 14 days. What they failed to tell me was there is a process to establish a FedEx Delivery Manager account on-line, yet it takes several days for you to receive a code through the mail - what?! This process is not efficient and my shipment is already in process to deliver so I spent hours trying to speak with a FedEx representative (a human) to hold it for a week until after my construction crew were done with the work.. I don’t blame Lovesac for FedEx’s process required to put a shipment on hold nor for their poor customer support process that makes it difficult to get past the virtual assistant, but I wish they would be knowledgeable on their shipper’s process so I could have proactively set up the account and not go through the frustration, stress and angst in trying to put a minimal hold on delivery. At this point I’m not sure if it will arrive prior to the construction starts or after as requested … fingers crossed as I have no room to store it.

Also from what I have seen, typically if there is a notable defect they will have an image of the defect within their listing photos on their website. Boris Vitvitskiy: I have visited Scandinavian Designs and absolutely love the pace and people who work there. The place has amazing furniture choices and styles. I have purchased table with chairs, a sectional, a coffee table and amazing bed. Everything from walking in the fist time to delivery and assembly was absolutely incredible. People are very knowledgable and professional. When my coffee table arrived with a minor defect, it was replaced at no additional cost. Love the place and people who work there. Definitely will shop more in the future.

Phillip S Harding: If I could select zero stars I would. On December 11, 2022, I went to the Indianapolis store with my dear friend, and we both purchased furniture. I spent over an hour at the store looking at furniture and finally decided to purchase the Delphine sofa and chair. I ordered a different fabric for the chair and pillows for the sofa. I had finally found the sofa was looking for and was initially happy with my experience. On December 20, I received a voicemail from Will GoForth the salesman I worked with who advised the manufacturer advised him there was an issue with the fabric I ordered for the Delphine chair. I promptly returned his call and obviously, this was a major disappointment especially since I ordered this fabric for the chair and pillows for the sofa. Not only this your company adds a $200.00 up charge to change the fabric. I do not understand why your company has fabrics on the floor that are discontinued this is astonishing to me. To further add to this frustration Will further advised that special orders cannot be canceled. I initially advised him to remove the additional pillow and chair from my order but then decided to go with the same color fabric for the chair and sofa. I was given a rough estimate of 2-4 months for delivery or four to fourteen weeks. To further add to this frustration your online system and stores are not linked and I am not able to check the status of my order online Will doesn't seem to know the status of my order either. This is very frustrating perhaps I made a mistake ordering from your company. Your systems are antiqued and behind and I the customer have no idea what is going on with my order. January 1, I went to the store around 5:35 PM EST (your store closes at 6:00 PM EST) and Will and others in the store were present and I was with my friend that canceled his order. The sales team was standing around and clearly had been discussing me amongst themselves. I asked Will for the status of my order and he offer no status and said the timeline was unchanged. I verified with him the changes to my order were complete and begin to look around the store when he advised me the store closes at 6:00 PM. In other words, I took this as "get out of the store". There were other customers in the store and I didn't hear him advise them the was closing at 6:00 PM today. The fact is your company showed me fabric that was not available and allowed me to place my order. Your systems are antiqued and no one knows the status of my order despite the fact I put down a deposit. Your online website and store order tracking systems are not linked. If I didn't like the sofa so much I would have cancelled my order as a result of my less-than-favorable experience. I will never recommend your company to anyone. I contacted customer service and days later today Lisa the store manager finally called me. Lisa was not empathic and I had enough of the poor customer service and advised her to cancel my order. The customer service I received was less than sub-par I will never purchase anything else from your company as a result of my experience. I've decided to purchase furniture from Kittles at least I know customer service is more of a priority for them. Do better Scandinavian Designs! Without your customers, you would not be in business.

James Roseman III: The staff here are super kind and helpful. They manage to provide attention to you while browsing the store but don't feel like they're hovering over you or pressuring you into a sale. It's exactly what you would want while shopping as you're given time to look around and talk about what you want and the staff will check in with you every once and a while or are easily found for help. The stuff here is quality too and super nice. Definitly plan on coming to this location for more stuff in the future.

I had never been and was very impressed by everything in there. They also have a pretty healthy price range for various needs and I was able to pick-up within a week as well.

Eloi Taha: I live in Michigan and I put a hold on a Delphine sofa. The store manager Lisa was very helpful to walk me through the process. I drove from Michigan to Indianapolis to pick up the sofa. Everything went well. I did not regret driving there. However, it will be great to have a Scandinavian store in the Detroit metro area.

BRENNA MACIAS: Amy at Scandinavian Design was a huge help to me, I needed a very specific couch and had a tight time frame and she was happy to help. My experience was great, there was no pressure but the sales people were happy to help when I asked. They were well informed and stayed in contact until they found the sofa I needed. I would recommend giving this store a visit!

Only1Sable Travels (Only1Sable): This was our first trip in Scandinavian Designs and wow were we impressed!! In very short order we needed to purchase several pieces of furniture for a new home and had been just about all over Indianapolis. I personally have never been here because I figured it was way out of my price range. We were warmly greeted when we arrived, discussed what we were looking for and provided with an overview of where to find things throughout the store. There were so many bright colors, beautiful styles and unique things immediately we saw even just upon entering the store! I had a hard time focusing where to look first!! I was practically giddy looking through all the unique display areas and vignettes! Our sales consultant, Will, was just delightful (as was everyone we met)! He looked at the many photos of our spaces on my phone with me that need furnished in our new home, helped walk through ideas and options, helped look at inventory and just put our minds at ease even with the huge task we had at hand to find new pieces quickly! There was zero pressure, lots of information and expertise and it was just a really nice experience! I love everything about this store and am very excited to recommend to everyone we know!
