Amy Amy: Made an appointment to get items notarized. Had this on the calender for 10+ days, brought our witnesses, arrived at the appointment time to be told very blandly "The guy who notarizes isn't here today." No offer of any other alternative. We said we had an appointment and even got reminders and his continued bland response was "Its a website issue." I normally like to call and talk to managment before posting reviews, but they won't answer the phone. So, there ya have it. Avoid the UPS Store if you want anything done correctly.
DZ Sher: Went to drop off 2 larger boxes for return. Young man laughed at me when I asked nicely if I could drop them here. I just left. Rude, I have dealt with him before.

Now it's missing imagine that. A 200 dollar package just gone... I went in to talk to him and he told me that he did his job he gave me a receipt, that thats all he had to do and it wasn't his problem anymore.... what an arrogant pr**k....I won't be using ups anymore ill find every way I can to get around using them they have really gone down the johnson.....
Kayla Xolio: The worker (young male) wasn’t friendly at all! Made an appointment online for notary service, but when we arrived (10mins before our time) we were told that no one could help us. Explained that we received confirmation with this ups address and time, but the worker was rude and sent us to Nora. We then went to Nora and was advised would have to go to Carmel or 82nd street. Such a hassle. Fix your online scheduling system! Also, it would’ve been great had we received an email stating not able to perform service instead of a confirmation. Also would’ve been nice to have a friendly worker instead of one with a nasty attitude! If you hate your job dude the. QUIT!

edward smith: I guess I should've read everyone else's reviews before I went into this store. I went in with a big box ready to ship at 2:40 PM and the gentleman working there was not happy from the moment I walked in the door. I asked if I did something wrong. It was $190 there but it was only $151 online. I left the store went next-door to get a hamburger and realized I forgot to get shipping insurance so I walked back over at 2:59 and he was already locked up and was extremely unhappy that I was at the door. he opened it and said he couldn't change the label because it was already printed then as I walked away he offered to cancel the sale. He said he works too much and he just wanted to go home. That's what sets employees apart from business owners. I don't think I'll be going back to this UPS store. I got back to my office and called them they don't even have voicemail. I thought they might be better than the one over at 75th and Shadeland but I guess I was wrong. Should've just went to the mailing station at 71st and Binford. They are always happy to have your business.

Customer Reviews: Dropped a package off around 8am Saturday. It didn't get picked up by a driver that day so it sat there Sunday as well of course. UPS service is at an all time low.
Mohammed Khattab: The charges for services provided are not disclosed upfront. I forgot the prepaid return label and asked if they can print one for me with self adhesive. They sure did, but then charged me $1.82 for the paper print out. In comparison, I had a same issue with an item returned via FedEx, and they printed the label for free.

I made an appointment a few days ago and showed up for it today and was informed they do not actually have a notary. Why would you advertise services for some thing that you do not provide? Had to call corporate, sit on hold for 30 minutes, then write up a letter (on company letterhead) stating that I own the business the package was addressed to, and that I was authorized to pickup said package. Bunch of nonsense. Employee promised her supervisor would call me, but he or she never did.

J.: You know when I Goggled UPS store near me, - I saw the very low review score and I thought "no way". So I searched so places further away, -then it hit me, - Remember Amazon reviews, and the volatile society climate that sway people opinions up and down like a rubber ball. I thought if this place is as bad as these reviews say they are, then UPS would either close the store or fire everyone there... I thought I would test myself and this place and see what the real deal was.....So I walked in and let a couple ladies go ahead of me, (cause I needed something notarized, and that can take a bit of time, plus I wanted to see how the crew responded to a growing line of customers) Well long story short these folks that work there are top notch, very pleasant and extremely efficient, especially at one of the busiest shipping days of the year. Since I I retired from the USPS, and know all about shipping and recieving of packages I gotta tell ya I used to cringe at mailing packages and it didnt matter where I went, but I had a great experience at this store and I have never seen a team of employees at a UPS store or USPS, or Fedex work in such a cohesive manner and get the jobs done so quickly, and professionally. I am heading back to that store in a few minutes and if there is simething to change my opiniin, I will update immediately.

I use the one iIn Mooresville Greenwood and on Emerson Avenue never have I been charged $2.20 to print a label yeah it's a rip off. I work in the automotive industry and I do everything in my power not to rip people off if you need to make your rent that bad you need to do something else

brandon brimberry: I will not be back to this place. I went in to pack and ship 2 items. I was quoted 35$ for the first item and 12 for the second item. So I estimated the total to be around 48 dollars. I was wrong. my total was 70.67 because they charged me the extra to pack the items. I understand that packing cost money, but I would have thought when I was told the prices to begin with they would have given me the entire total. I questioned why I wasnt given the real total. The people working told me I could pay the 70$ or leave the store. I will not be back. It seems I should have checked the reviews before going.
Ed: This is the store where I pickup my high value UPS deliveries. I had no problem picking them up and they were very polite. There is no worry about "Porch Pirates" when you do this. Also, this is a good place to have something notarized. The bank next door brushed me off to do it (had two account with them) even though I had the same type of document notarized by the same bank the year before. The UPS store had the document notarized in 5 minutes.

Yet all 3 of them had completely different prices with one being almost $12 more than the other two. Nice try, but I’m not into the scams.

Rachel Elizabeth Martin: Staff here is rude and unhelpful. Was charged here for things that other UPS stores do not charge for, such as $3.00 to print my shipping label and was not told this until after it was done. The staff then proceeded to hand me the tape and told me to tape up my box my self and stood and watched. Would never return to this location again.

UPDATE: I went back to the store today 3/8/22 and I dealt with a gentleman by the name of Cory C. Cory took care of all of my concerns and was very professional!!! Whomever I dealt with prior to him just did not want to do their job. I left everything sitting on the counter, and Cory made sure they took care of the packing as well as the shipping!! So some of the people that work there, just don't want to do their job. While Cory on the other hand is a professional and I thank him for his time courtesy and help.

Rick Tryon: The owner of this franchise should be ashamed. There was one employee staffing the place on the evening I stopped by in the post holiday returns madness. The poor guy is in serious need of training and additional help. Phones go unanswered and the guy seemed like he was at the absolute end of his wits… like 100% over that job - and I can’t blame him. If this is the norm, I feel like this location won’t be around much longer.
Albert Henning: No notary services after manager leaves. Mgr leaves whenever he wants. Call ahead if you need a notary.
J Kalsch: Never use this store. Completely incompetent. Can’t simply ship a package without it getting lost before it even gets lost.
Eric Smith: We have been patrons of this store for years and have had some wonderful interactions with staff, who have generally been friendly and efficient over the years. However, the current store manager is contrary, snippy, patronizing and, in our opinion, drunk with power. I have experienced poor customer service and have seen the manager exhibit the same behavior with other customers. Today, he begrudgingly accepted two small USPS packages from the woman in front of me (while telling her he won't in the future), but refused to accept mine even though it was only a 3# package. Is this now the policy of the UPS Store, not to accept USPS packages? As the owner of multiple businesses, including a nearly half-century-old global company, I would *never* want one of my employees to treat customers the way I've seen this "manager" (and I use that term loosely) treat customers. I have done college lectures on ethics in business and customer service, so the experiences we've had lately at the UPS Store at 79th and Fall Creek really resonate with me. I can no longer recommend that you patronize this store. Vote with your pocketbook.
Gary Denney: We used their services for a notary public and my wife accidently left her ID there. The store manager actually drove to our house to return the ID. Incredible service!!!! Thank you for being so customer focused!!

Finally said “hello” and one of them came out front with no apology for my wait or anything and proceeded to tell me that they couldn’t do any more packages tonight because they had already been picked up. I couldn’t even just pay and get it set for delivery tomorrow. Pretty sure that was a lie just so they wouldn’t have to do any more transactions, and if not, then why is the store still open for another ten minutes? Never going back there again, or any UPS probably.

Pastor Carmeka T. Benning: We have been with this UPS for mail service for almost a year. When we opened our box we paid in advance for the entire year which is why we've been with them this long.. they DO NOT REFUND mailbox paid fees. First issue was them not giving us the after hours code to get our mail, and after driving an hour and a half we realized we had no access. They have loss our mail, they have over charged us for mail forwarding and we had to force a refund, the manager doesn't care but pretends to want to resolve your issue. We are once again sitting in the parking lot unable to get our mail but today the code is not working. We have driven an hour and 15 minutes one way. There's no after hours emergency number to get assistance in cases like this so long story short we are our gas, time and our mail and now will have to pay an overpriced amount to have our mail forwarded to us and hopefully we'll get it because yes that's happened before as well.BTW, NOT ALL UPS MAIL SERVICE CENTERS ARE LIKE THIS, we have utilized UPS for mail services in OHIO, NJ and PS and have NEVER had all of these issues.

Sabrina Davis: I entered the store and was greeted by a friendly face. It felt just like a UPS commercial one would see on the television. I informed Lauren and Drew that I had many packages as I was shipping all my belongings to New York. They hastily prepared one of their stations to measure and weigh my boxes. As I went to acquire more boxes from my lil Subaru, they organized the boxes. My own taping job had been a little less than stellar (broken boxes, not enough tape- the usual), so they offered to tape them up a little more before shipping to ensure the safety of the boxes (and the few human possessions I own). It was pretty much a life changing experience. Who could ever use another shipping service when UPS has these two rockstars taking care of our shipping needs in the cozy corner of Fall Creek Rd? A huge thank you to Lauren and Drew! 10 out of 10 would recommend.

Casey: Save your time and money. I've been coming here (and other UPS) for several years for my business and personal printing. They just decided to change their policy from charging per sheet of paper (plus a computer fee most of the time) to charging $1.50 per label if you're printing labels. It's the same amount of paper and a label is only half a sheet with barely any toner. That's fine, but the woman working got a huge attitude with me when I said I didn't want the labels, and I would just go to another UPS. It's a brand new policy, they didn't inform me of the change or the cost before printing. I accepted that was their new policy and didn't fight them on the price, I just chose to go somewhere else. I decided to go across the street to Fedex. 17 CENTS PER SHEET OF PAPER AND THAT'S IT!!! They have self serve kiosks to print at-NO WAIT. My 5 labels cost me $1 to print total, and would have been $7 after tax at UPS less than a minute away. Even before this policy change, that is $2-3 cheaper than what UPS normally charges me. If you ship a lot like me, then that adds up very quickly when we're talking 17 cents vs. $1.50 per label.

Diane Hitchcock: UPS desperately needs another store for this area. Anytime you go - mid-day week days, it is always lined up out the door. Forget going on weekends or after 5pm. Stood in long line, then was ghosted at the front counter. Another clerk at side counter helped person standing in line behind me. Sooooo they need a take-a-number system. Other employees there seen doing nothing. Beware of disappearing employees here.

erwin susara: Good during the week; expect to be locked out before closing time on Saturdays. Utilize this UPS store multiple times every week and service is good. At times there are long lines and staff handles things relatively well considering it's not their fault that large numbers of people can come in almost at the same time. Some transactions just take time and customers should understand. Saturdays are different. They supposedly close at 4 pm, but on multiple different Saturdays, I have tried to go in and the door was locked. On 1/14/23, doors were locked at 3:25 pm and there were customers inside. An employee let a customer out and in a frazzled manner stated that they are not taking any more customers since they are understaffed. She was indifferent to the 3-4 people standing waiting to get in. She definitely could have handled it better. I shouldn't be surprised since another young lady handled it in a similar way on another Saturday giving me a "I'm sorry." in a smug voice and cheeky smile. So, if you need to utilize this UPS store on a Saturday, get there early and if you don't, expect to be disappointed since they will lock you out.

Since then I have sent multiple emails and received no response, have left multiple voicemails with no response, have left messages with staff to have the manage return my call and have had no response. Several staff have been rude and unhelpful telling me to just call back later. It’s been a month since I notified the store of damages and they have done nothing.

John Colvin: After using this store for 15 years without a problem, I finally experienced an issue that friends/neighbors have warned me about for a long time.I regularly use this location to ship UPS packages all over the states, and very RARELY use them to drop off USPS packages (return items with pre paid labels) because I've always heard that those particular packages are "lost" a lot of times and there is literally nothing you can do to track them down. March 30th, I dropped off, as you may know, they do NOT scan in the USPS packages so there is zero proof that you were ever there unless you are seen on camera. They accept the packages no problem, and are always nice, but now they are the reason I'm loosing out on a $300 return.UPS need to have a scan system for these packages or simply not accept them because it's absurd a company as large as this can hold NO responsibility with your package (as a usps drop off location) when scanning it in takes 2 seconds. I guess I'm done with this store.JayJ—I did contact the manager and what she told me was it’s not their fault that the postal service didn’t scan it on AT the location and there is t anything she can do. Trust me, I didn’t just leave a bad review , I did my part front and back before leaving my review.

She didn't give me a color copy of my documents saying it was illegal to make color copies. I was given misinformation about the notary as well and I couldn't get my documents notarized here as well.I would recommend not going to this store. I later ended up going to the Greenwood store (UPS Store at 704 S State Rd 135 Ste D, Greenwood, IN 4614). The guys here were really helpful and provided the prints and notary services.

For reference, I am at the store multiple times per week and have had constant interactions and communications with the manager, Athena, and the other workers. I believe my review holds weight.What I love: The professional and courteous atmosphere. Honestly, they are the best. I was there multiple days throughout the week during Christmas and Thanksgiving week, and I saw nothing short of exceptional behavior from the staff there. How were they professional? I have never once heard a staff member grunt, curse, rush, get loud, or do anything short of smile and ask how I am doing.I bring in HEAVY boxes. For the ladies that work there, I salute you. Not only for being able to lift my heavy boxes along with all others, but also for doing so without having an attitude about it. I can sense body language pretty well, and I have NEVER been offended by anyone working there. It is honestly a joy going to the store and I would rather go there than a random UPS store.Why all the negative reviews? I'll tell you why. It isn't the store, it isn't because staff are unprofessional, and it isn't because they aren't patient (a story on that in a moment). Negative reviews are because (and this is from personal experience, multiple times) people will come in to the store wanting help without the necessary information and/or items. Also, because people are impatient, but hey, that is what you get when you have great customer service and are an awesome store: MORE BUSINESS.-People printing there label incorrectly, where it cannot be scanned. They complain to the staff members, who wish they could help the customer, but cannot because the customer forgot their phone and cannot print off another label at the store (YES! this happens a lot). If you are unsure of the procedure, call the store and they will gladly help you!!-People grunting and moaning about long lines (read above, this is a fantastic store. More people go to fantastic places than not)READ THIS: Imagine working at a store where it is a harder job (lifting my heavy boxes all day, remember?) than you have ever had. Then imagine doing it with a smile on your face. THEN, imagine, not showing your potential frustrations and/or giving that energy to the customer BUT actually answering all the customer's questions in a polite and courteous manner without rushing them. YES. This is what they do. This is a hard job, and the manager, Athena, does it damn well.I get it, you may be upset because of COVID..maybe because you cannot order your favorite latte at the Starbucks 2 minutes from your house because you will miss your favorite TV show. I understand your incomprehensible pain. But, please, don't take it out on these workers. They are freaking great. Oh, and have you EVER had to workout with your mask on? Try it, then report back.See you guys soon ♡♡♡♡♡♡
