Marriott Indianapolis North: what do users think?
lucas class: Excellent hotel, clean room and facilities , NO FREE BREAKFAST, pool and exercise room.
Carol Smallwood: Excellent accommodations and staff was excellent! (Poor lighting)Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5Hotel highlights Great view …More
Jonathan Ramos: Expensive for a standard room - paid $570 for two nights. Nothing special about the room.Could clearly hear my neighbors conversations and music late at night through the walls. At times, felt like we were sharing the same room. They were really loud both nights. No free WiFi - $10 per day for internet.Breakfast buffet was $25 - food was about as good as a Days Inn. No waitress, microwaved biscuits were the worst I've ever had, nasty gravy, funny looking/tasting french toast sticks and syrup, no orange juice, pastries were not fresh or good, no refills on drinks, eggs were not cooked properly, etc.Mini-fridge did not work. Thus, my leftovers from dinner were ruined.I leaned against a railing while talking to friends in the lobby and the wood beam fell off the posts. Will stay elsewhere next time.
Cheryl Ernst: Beautiful hotel. Everything was luxurious and beautiful. We had a breakfast buffet with a group and everything was very good. Would definitely stay again.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Brenda K: Above average Marriott, even more so than any Gaylord I've stayed at. Why? The people working here. Every person we had contact with gave extraordinary service. Djenitza was warm welcoming and accommodating each morning that we came down to breakfast. And Sarah was sweet caring attentive and pleasant, when we sat at the bar to eat lunch one day. Each person I dealt with at the front desk, from check-in, to stopping and asking questions, to picking up a couple things at the small little market, to check out we're all phenomenal. I cannot name every employee by name that I came in contact with, but they were all equally awesome.Food & drinks: Delicious and high quality. Good size portions.
Errold Mayfield: I was there playing for an event being held. But from what I could see it's very nice.
Terry Quida: I Had a Wonderful Time...There for a Banquet!Food & drinks: The Food was Awesome at the Banquet!!!
Dean Mayfield: Rooms need a little freshen up. Coffee make doesn't work.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Quiet …More

Shawn Miller: Impressed by their hospitality. Definitely a top tier hotel.
Brian Davis: Great ambiance, and view.Rooms: Clean and big.Food & drinks: Great food and drink selection in-hotel. Room service available and fast!
Sierra Voss: Rooms were super nice, no place for storage tho besides one closet. The service was great. The location is nice if you're staying in the area there's a shake shack, and a nordstrom mall near by.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 4/5Hotel highlights Great view …More

Indianapolis Marriott Downtown: what do users think?
Srimayee Basu: Update: I am updating this because the front desk staff sent up a gift bag and an apology note after reading my negative review. I appreciate their prompt response and the commitment to addressing issues experienced by their guests. This is easily one of the worst hotel experiences I have had. The front desk staff couldn't find the right details of our reservation and caused us worry and embarrassment when we arrived. Wi-Fi is $17 per night and their restaurant employees are some of the most inept and unprofessional hospitality workers I’ve encountered. AVOID.
Russell Scott: Crystal at the front desk provided phenomenal and professional customer service assisting me during my stay.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Luxury, Great view, High-tech …More
Amanda Normine: Nice place to stay when downtown. I highly recommend getting a club room. The lounge is a nice bonus with drinks and snacks 24/7Nearby activities: Super close for conventions!
Jen Richard: We booked this hotel based off of the photos of the pool online for our 3 kids. When we arrived they said there was no pool. The rooms are okay but definitely not worth the price. Pretty disappointing.Rooms: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 1/5 …More
Amber Hudson: Staff is the best!! ALL of them!👍Service: 5/5Hotel highlights Luxury …More
Marcus Turner: Nice place to attend a conference. Typical Marriott.Service: 4/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Nolan Schendel: Great hotel to stay at if you’re attending an event in the area. There’s a sky bridge to the convention center and walkable to all the main attractions in the area. Staff was very helpful and accommodating. They have a very impressive lobby and bar. If you’re a platinum Marriot member the food in the M lounge is great. However, the restaurant did not have many options.
chris anthony: Mistreated by the nigh staff members who kicked me out of the hotel because I was supposedly getting inside their bar. Kicked out in the middle of the night as if I was a delinquent. All this with me being a bonvoy supposed member.Rooms: 3/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 3/5 …More
Mike Sandore: This is a top tier Marriott. Great restaurant & bar on site, M Club Lounge is the nicest I’ve seen, upgraded Gym with Peloton & TRX.
Stephanie MacDonald: I’m usually one to be pretty content with most hotels. But this was not a very satisfactory stay. The lobby was gorgeous and there was many dining options including Starbucks. Those were the only perks we enjoyed. The bed was comfy and the room was clean. However, our room was handicap accessible which was fine even though we didn’t need it. But the shower tile wasn’t sloped enough for the water to just exit into the drain. So the whole bathroom floor was soaked and hazardous. The lighting in the bathroom was too dim and not a lot of counter space at all. We were surprised there was no microwave or fridge as most hotels provide these. I feel like there could also have been better signage. We could not find any stairs nor a sign indicating where there would be any. This is important to us as we experienced a hotel fire once. And the parking fee was outrageous, $57 per night?! Will not be staying here again.Safety: No signs to indicate where stairs were. Handicap accessible shower does not have proper drain and water got all over the bathroom floor.
Seth Paddack: Downtown Indianapolis is very dangerous and the beds in the rooms are horrible and very uncomfortable and the pillows are just as badRooms: The beds are so uncomfortable and the pillows are just as badNearby activities: You have to walk a long ways or drive thereSafety: It’s very dangerous downtown IntWalkability: It’s dangerous downtown you really don’t want to walk around anywhere
Allen Ward: Tayleya was very helpful checking out. From checking in, the room, dining at Conner’s and checking out my weekend experience was awesome. I would recommend this hotel.Rooms: The room was spacious and very clean.Nearby activities: Skywalk easily accessibleSafety: Felt safeFood & drinks: Highly recommend Conner’s to eat at
Brandy Kelly: Helpful staff. Clean and comfy rooms and bathroom. A little disappointed that there was not a refrigerator or microwave in the room. Other than that, great stay! Restaurant, bar, Starbucks, corner store all in the hotel. Very nice!Rooms: No refrigerator or microwave in room. Dim lighting in room and bathroom.
Tony Smith: No complementary breakfast, everything cost extra...Rooms: 4/5|Service: 3/5|Location: 3/5 …More

JW Marriott Indianapolis: what do users think?
David Bessey: Came in for a convention in early October. Rooms were spacious and very well maintained. Hotel is in great shape and excellent location. With in walking distance to most restaurants and activities.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Luxury, Great view …More
Victoria Wilkinson: Unless someone else is paying for your room, you require epic views from a high-rise, or you absolutely can't leave the building where your event is being held, save your money and sleep somewhere else. There's nothing special about this hotel beyond the location and the excellent room views. Oh, and the post-shower robe they provide is pretty fluffy, if that's important to you. The gym is spacious, with good views and free water and towels. But there's no pool or hot tub. Apparently there hasn't been one since it went under renovations before the pandemic, but the elevator sign still lists it as being on floor two. The breakfast option at the Italian restaurant is a $28/plate buffet. The valet is $55 overnight. It may be obvious from the name, but this is not a place to go for value.UPDATE: We returned in April 2023 and they have put some duct tape over the pool on the wall map. And the breakfast is no longer a buffet.
John Leonardson: Very nice stay! Only complaint - no pool.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Edgar Algario: Big hotel with nice views.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Luxury, Great view, High-tech …More

Erika: My daughter & I had an AMAZING Stay-cation!!!! From the moment we got there, service and attention to detail are their specialty! Customer service was AMAZING! It started off with Ms Kuhn at the front desk! She is so sweet and took some extra goodies to our room and wrote us a personal card. Thanking us for choosing to stay at the JW Marriott. I wanted to hug her! I was so happy and very thankful for her outstanding customer service and her attention to detail!! High Velocity restaurant, executive lounge, room service, everything!!!! JW took really good care of us! We felt like VIPs! We will definitely be back!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH, JW MARRIOTT! You all ROCK!!!!!!!!
Hardeep Singh: Love this place. The restaurant has good food too.
Carlos Guerrero: Was there on a four day business trip. We had quite the schedule and everything in the background rans so smooth, you'd forget all the hard work the staff is involved with. Breakfast, lunch, breaks and dinner went off without a problem. The food was great, warm and everyone had plenty to pick from. Small friendly conversations with the staff shows they care about their work. The hotel is within walking distance from everything; bars, restaurants and Lucas Oil football field which is pretty cool and the Indianapolis Pacers basketball stadium. We got pizza and we're able to eat in the lobby while enjoying drinks from the bar. Went to the Slippery Noodle and walked back to the hotel with no problem and enjoyed some local sites also. Enjoy your stay.
Jennifer Schleicher: Clean & good service. Good restaurants in hotel. Stayed on the top floor for a great night time view. Good restaurant on site.Food & drinks: Restaurant bar on site.

Indianapolis Marriott East: what do users think?
David Oslager: Very clean hotel and everything seems functional. People were very nice checking in. But extremely dated hotel in a very bad need for an upgrade. This hotel should be forced to upgrade or lose its Marriott affiliation. I booked solely on name and location and I regretted it immediately upon pulling into the parking lot. I would not stay again. Note, they seem to have upgraded the lobby and front canopy and that looks great in the pics. That's what I went by. I didn't look at all the pics of the rooms and see how dated the design is. Not worth the price. Oh, and parking is $9!!?? What for? That's just a money grab similar to resort fees. No offer of free parking for Titanium either. They did give $10 F&B credit so it's a wash if you go to the bar/restaurant. But there is no need to charge for parking at this location.Rooms: Very dated and tired.
Jarrod Gerschoffer: This place needs a total overhaul.Rooms: 2/5|Service: 3/5|Location: 1/5 …More
E Nancy Dunlap: Didn't have a room, attended a meetingLocation: 4/5Hotel highlights Kid-friendly …More
Dave Spicer: I was here for a convention. I wish the staff understood the assignment. That's all.Service: 2/5|Location: 4/5 …More
Shanice Cornner: Very rude people to work for. And heads up on workin here, you dont get paid for all of your hours. I worked 30 hours 1 week and more the next and was only paid for 23 hours and now I'm having a hassle with ms. Brianna Abner about my money in which if i dont get my money on payroll tomorrow, i will be seeking legal action not only against Ms. Abner but the whole Marriot in total for the way I was treated my whole employment there. Oh and definitely do not rent a room there, the linen they have had stains and the stains give bed bug vibes with the color and sizes of the stains, then the rooms give Motel 6 not Marriot, dont expect anything luxury here.
Barbara Scott: One of my top picks to go to!!Rooms: 3/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 3/5 …More
Doug Tingle: Attended a convention at this hotel, but stayed at a different one.Location: 4/5 …More
Fred Smith: To sum up this review, this hotel is geared for large events period, we were looking for a nice stay with a pool hot tub, ya no had to be between 50 to a hundred people in the pool area went earlier the next morning thinking beat the rush still like 20 people the hot tub was luke warm and both the pool and the tub were very very cloudy could smell the water and it wasn't chlorine. The hotel also assumes their guests will not be mobile and charged accordingly. Close to nine bucks for a pint of beer only breakfast is a buffet which costs 22, glad the 4 seasons diner is a short walk. If you're traveling and not in a school band or some kind of group booking I would definitely not stay here.I do want to give the staff a mention, there was a mix up on my reservation the lady who booked me in did a great job very professional especially with a line of people waiting she did end up charging me a higher rate but I really think she did the best she could. The manager with the deep voice I'll try and get his name he was just great, friendly, professional got things done made me feel at ease can't say enough about him he fixed everything. Maybe they were short one person but I would definitely suggest having two people at the front desk, maybe one doing paperwork who can step in when needed during check in time. Want to mention the room did not have a microwave beds were very comfortable it was not decorated was adequate. Coffee was good and I like the ease of use for the TV and remote.PS I just went down and got my wife a soda 5 bucks had Pepsi and Dr Pepper lol.
Dino Kitty ,LLC: I just moved back from Miami. Needed a place to relax for a couple days. I usually don’t have great experience at hotels because I travel nonstop for work, they’re too expensive for what you get, etc.I came in with 4 bags, easily 30 lbs more than I weigh. I was greeted with a smile & when I asked about help with my bags, the manager, Jeff said he would help me himself. He made me feel so special, upgraded my room, checked my room to make sure everything was in proper order. You can tell he genuinely loves what he does.I went straight to dinner at the bar where Christina was working. She is so witty & wonderful at her job. Stacey was fantastic also. The food was fantastic. Highly recommend the wings & the salmon was cooked to perfection. The entire front desk staff was so amazing!! From grabbing me toothpaste because I forgot mine, being so cooperative with extending my stay, personable, & ever so polite.I would stay here every time. For every visit.
Ted Burye: I stayed at this Marriott from 25-28 March. The rooms were ok and the area was fine, but the service was very inconsistent and some of the people seemed like they were being difficult on purpose.I was told (by the front desk) I had complimentary breakfast every day with my room. Out of the three mornings I could have breakfast twice I was told by a person at the breakfast (after I told them my room number) that I did not have complimentary breakfast. That person also just seemed really determined not to look into helping me further and had other things to do.One thing about the rooms I wish would be changed is they only gave one bar of soap. There should be at least 2. They also did not have hot water for a shower the last night of my stay, so I had a cold shower.I have stayed at other Marriott locations before and none of these issues happened anywhere else, so I am really disappointed.
Leighsah Lee: My family and I arrived on March 24th around 3:50pm after driving 1,475 miles from Arizona. Right off it was unwelcoming as the desk assistant wasn't pleasant, there was no happy greeting or welcome. He basically just looked at us and checked us in and put us under the impression that breakfast was complimentary. He didn't give us directions to where certain areas were in the Hotel, I had to ask, when I asked when was breakfast served his answer was "yes, breakfast is served 6am to 10am right around the corner" not once did he say that it was not complimentary. Room 504 had no hot water for the first night. Room 537 had black ants (picture and video attached)Next morning - we, 2 of us go down to get breakfast and we're suprised with a receipt. Then I asked at the front if the breakfast was complimentary, until after the fact, I was informed that it wasn't. So I was charged $52.93 for 2 buffets. The individual at the front made a smart remark "it's a restaurant" Yeah, I know it's a restaurant but what I'm asking is if the breakfast was complimentary or not.Saturday night, my children were going to the pool and I stood by the door as I watched them walk to their sisters room in 504. Two security officers walked around the corner stopped them and brought them back saying they were running around when in fact they weren't. There were 2 other kids from another room and family who were falsely accused as well. The security guy, I didn't get his name but he's African American, heavy set and he threatened me and my family saying "If we get another complaint, we're gonna evict you from the hotel". Since then we were walking on egg shells, we did not feel so uncomfortable at any hotel until this one. We all went to the pool and around 9:55 an individual came in and he stared at my children until they got out of the pool all while the anglo teenagers sat in the hot tub until 10pm. Then as we left the pool he followed us to the elevator. He put a fear in my children that they didn't want to do anything else there. Also the elevator was out causing us to use the stairs.I have never experienced this kind of treatment towards us at any other hotel. I felt the racial profiling since we arrived. We do a lot of traveling and stay at many hotels, well just Embassy Suites, Hilton and Hamptons and this would be and the last time we stay at a Marriott. This stay was not worth $1536.16. especially when threats of getting evicted were made on my family.
Dup Scuva: My wife and I experienced a nice and clean hotel. Our check-in process was quick and the front desk person was friendly.Comfortable bed and the shower gell, shampoo, and conditioner were fabulous. One small gripe was the sound of the heat kicking on. It was quite loud; at some point our sleepy bodies tuned it out. Would definitely recommend stay.
Waylon Gross: Great place to host big benefitsNice little bar/restaurantUpdate our stay this time wasn't pleasant and the staff was very rude.Rooms: 3/5|Service: 2/5|Location: 4/5 …More
Keith Berry: Always a great place to attend a conference or event.
terrie doty: Service was great, facilities are very dated and in need of upgrades. Everything seemed like it was left over from the 90s. Employees were awesome, even when there was a screw up it was taken care of to our satisfaction. But even the elevator was an issue. Ended up with everyone having to use Service elevator. Marriott needs to invest here.
Daniel Winkels: The hotel service was top notch. Very efficient and friendly check-in process. Room service dining is quick and high quality.Jeff Bobbitt was an exceptional representative for Marriott who made the check-in and stay experience awesome. He took his time to find the best complimentary room upgrade available, followed up with a call to ensure the room was satisfactory, and gave me terrific recommendations for the hotel bar and restaurant (which turned out to be excellent).I’ll be staying there again, without a doubt, next time my travels bring me to Indianapolis.
Jay Lievestro: The front desk staff are very friendly! Jeff at the desk is the best! The gym and pool are nice amenities and always a clean and comfortable room. I've stayed here numerous times and will continue to do so.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 4/5Hotel highlights Kid-friendly, Great value …More
