Rayburn Stockinger: Not like the employees at a box store, They are enthusiasts with a ton of railroading knowledge. Pricing is not jacked up. I would highly recommend this train store.

Charlie Farr: I'm not from Indianapolis; I went here back in August and it was a good experience. They seem to have mostly HO but did have O-scale, N-scale and I think I did see a little bit of used S-scale. For HO they have a pretty good selection; from brass to used/parts items; and a good parts section too. They also have a pretty good section of railroad-related books. They have a LOT of stuff but the store seemed to be fairly well organized and I didn't have any problem finding my way around. I enjoyed digging through the used items and they have a lot of New Old Stock in original boxes. I thought their prices were quite reasonable. I got a NOS Athearn boxcar for $7; I'd have paid twice that price had I bought it online. If you visit, plan to spend a little time because there's a LOT to see; and the next time I'm in Indy, I'll definitely go by again.

Mark Cornelius: I've been going to train Center for years the owner is very knowledgeable and they moved to a new location after 19 years because they got forced out by their neighbor who wanted to use their spot for bubble puppy but they are at 17th and Shadeland and I would highly recommend using this place for all of your train needs

Ben Brubaker: Very nice, old-school hobby shop. Large collection of vintage and rare buildings and rolling stock in N,HO, and O scales. Owner is friendly and very knowledgeable. A little bit of the main road, but it is worth a stop.

These guys want you to leave feeling happy with your purchase and I did. Needed some help after the sale setting up my truck went back they were more than helpful, took care of my problem and explained all about what they did and showed me more things I may want to do in the future to care for my truck. These guys rock. Will not hesitate to return, also encourage anyone who is thinking of getting into RC or wanting to upgrade to go check them out.

They have a diy repair facility for building your dream car with plenty of stations, and when your done, they have a large indoor track with multiple risers and ramps. Just want to watch? They have a great views for watching skilled or amatuer racers. Great place!

He helped me out and filled the pre-order with the general store stock.Unfortunately I haven't had the chance to play with the people who meet on Saturdays. So I can't comment on the crowd that plays here very much. They do seem friendly enough though.

Dan was super supportive to this novice painter in answering questions. Great selection of models and paints. Couldn't be happier with driving 2 hours to come to this shop. My local shop could take a lesson or two from this place!

Jeremy is a great guy and promotes a really healthy atmosphere within the store, and that’s why he has so many regulars.If you’re looking for a good shop to play Modern or Commander, this is by far the best place to go in Indy. It’s always a blast, and the people are great.
