Victoria Charlton: My son has been receiving various therapies as part of his early intervention plan for almost ten years now. I have had contact with multiple specialists in that time and SPOT is by far the worst. I started contact with them in December (his last speech therapist was relocating and this one is closer to home) it took weeks to get him going, appointments were changed and canceled with very short notice. It's now med Feb and he has only had two sessions in that time (by two different therapists) there is no consistency and what little communication there is, is done via text message (they can't even bother to call you to cancel appointments!) Do not go here, they are a waste of time.

Amy Patterson: Have been client with them for over a year now. There has been a high turnover rate for speech and occupational therapy. We were doing physical therapy with them and was very with it till we were told there would be a two week break due to pool closing down for yearly maintenance. It had now been close to three months since we have done therapy. I have asked for copies of therapy notes that I never received. Supvisor of S.P.O.T therapy (Heather) never returns your call until you get mad because of inconsistency services. Have had issues with them calling correct doctor to get order for services. When we became clients I filled out over 20 pages of paperwork which had correct doctors for each of my children and they still call incorrect doctor office each of my children. The therapists that we have had been great but they are very poorly ran.

Jessie W: Shout out to the St Francis Emergency room in BeechGrove! Excellent service!! I recently made a trip to the ER, this was the first time I've been here. Everyone dreads going to the ER but there was no wait, the staff was very friendly , overall it was a very clean & well organized facility. maybe it was the time of day I went but as soon as I checked in they sent me back to a room and the Dr came to check on me! The Dr was Dr Debikey, he was very helpful and friendly. He really cared about my health and was very helpful. Keep up the great work guys! You the real MVPs!

molly moser: I can't express enough how wonderful and a breathe of fresh air Speakindy has been for my daughter Chloe. Chloe goes to Speakindy for Speech Therapy and OT Therapy once a week. Chloe won't be where she is today with her development without the help of her Speech and OT therapist. Speakindy has helped with Chloe's speech all the way down to her fine motor skills and she keeps progressing and developing thanks to Speakindy. If you are looking for a place you can bring your child to help with your child's development I highly recommend Speakindy.

Our son has made noticeable social improvements since he began therapy at SpeakIndy. Jaclyn is creative and professional and it's obvious that she takes her role very seriously and that she enjoys her job.

Although my son has IEP speech therapy though his school, his incredible rate of progress and confidence is a direct result of therapists at SpeakIndy who incorporate language, speech, and behavior therapy in every session. Courtney Holland, MA-CCC-SLP has also taught me how to support my son's goals in really fun, creative ways. I really can't say enough great things about all of the professionals at SpeakIndy!!
Ashley Davis: My son has been going to SpeakIndy for about a year and a half now. He's been worked primarily with Anna, and more recently Jaclyn, and they are both amazing! SpeakIndy was recommended to me by a nurse practitioner I used to work for, and I am so grateful that I followed her advise. My son has made so much progress, with both is speech, and social development since he's been coming here. He's more outgoing, and so many others are able to see his real personality! Before he was very shy, and socializing made him so anxious. He's a totally different kid than he was when we started. The rest of the staff is wonderful as well! They put so much care into working with their kids, and we will continue with them, as long as we need. I highly recommend them to anyone seeking speech therapy, or any other developmental resource!

Noah and Kelly Johnson: It is not an exaggeration that SpeakIndy has changed my daughter's life. My daughter has speech difficulties, but most of her struggles were in pragmatic (or social) communication...for 3 years, we tried speech therapist after speech therapist who gave my daughter an evaluation and despite our concerns, her medical background and diagnosis', they always tested her as "borderline" and to 'come back in 6 mths' if we still had concerns. SpeakIndy is the first organization that actually listened to not just my concerns -- but they listened to my daughter. This was evident when at the end of the evaluation she talked to me about my concerns and my daughter's strengths but also what they do at SpeakIndy and how it would help her. She spoke of concepts I had barely heard of like whole-brain listening, how children learn social language and communication skills as their brain develops and ways we can use supports and group therapy to help develop these areas. We are always given social stories, picture systems, suggestions of books to read or websites to go to. The staff is incredibly involved and it is clear their focus is constantly on how we can help my daughter not just learn concepts but practically use them in her daily life as well. If you are like me and frustrated with speech therapists and doctor's not listening to your concerns about your child I would sincerely recommend giving SpeakIndy a call. You will not regret it.

She has had an increase in verbal, eye contact, engaging with other children, imaginative play and the biggest change we saw was an improvement in her eating! She's so much more open to trying new foods and no longer screams at the table. We also receive thorough reports addressing each personalized goal. These goals were written strictly for my child and you could tell! Her teacher, Maeci and the assistant Elaine are both very educated and experienced professionals. SHIRLEY FRANKLIN: Maeci is an exceptionally knowledgeable and talented speech therapist. She is passionate about her work with children and makes learning language skills fun for them. I love to watch her when she works with my grandson as she can get him to work despite his usual disinterest in school type activities. I find it utterly amazing that he actually looks forward to going to see her even after having a challenging day at school.
Mariam Alammuri: Maeci is very knowledgeable and is helping my 11 yr old son learn some social skills. Very approachable and kind. My son clicked with her and enjoys her sessions.
