Zachary B: This place is amazing. Took our birds here for beak/nail trim. Expected trouble like a bite from the birds. We walked in and handed the birds over, and before we made it around the store once, they were done. So fast, and the birds are clearly more comfortable and happy. Also got some great advice on food and training. We're moving to Brown County, but we will definitely be making the drive back here every time we need something for the birds.

Nick ONeill: This place is part aviary, part pet supply store, and all fun! The birds are gorgeous and the owners were so friendly and courteous! We were stunned by our newest favorites "Blueberry" and "Jackie," the enormous blue Macaws! Please be respectful of these truly awe-inspiring living beings and remember it's not a petting zoo - they are living, breathing animals and deserve our adoration without provocation! We enjoyed our visit and we will be back!

James Roseman III: Easily the best place in Indiana for bird related food, toys, and equipment. The people here are friendly and passionate about birds. Not only are we able to get quality food and toys for our conure here but every time we go in the staff will answer questions for us that we may have and they really helped us learn how to properly care for our Green cheek. It's also fun to be able to visit some of the birds that the owners have here everytime we swing by. Milton is my favorite.

Megan Hart: Staff here are friendly and knowledgeable - I was really particular with what I was looking for, and they spent quite a bit of time on the phone with me, listening to what I wanted and adding in a couple thoughtful suggestions (things I wouldn't have considered) to help me get the perfect set-up. They take care of you and you can tell they value your business. The store also has a good selection of high-quality bird food, feeders and baths. Their feeder pole system is much sturdier than anything you'd find in a regular store and you can either buy a basic boxed setup or you can fully customize your setup part by part. They take in person, phone or website orders and offer curbside pickup too which is really nice during the pandemic.

Paul Phillips: We visited Uncle Bills after lunch next door. One thing I noticed right away was the cleanliness of the store. While looking at the fish, my daughter noticed a white beta, a color we had not seen before. Immediately a helpful employee showed up to explain the uniqueness of the fish and how it was acquired. He also helped with picking out the perfect tank, filter, heater and food to keep our new pet happy. When we went to the cashier to pay for everything, she was extremely friendly and really engaged my granddaughter. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
Jasmine Tidrow: The smell of pet urine and fences hits you when you first come in. Open some windows and air the place out and use something to neutralize odors. Birds all looked extremely unhealthy. They are picking their feathers off. I’m not sure how many birds are allowed in one cage but this looked like way too many to me. So many that several were picking at each other.
Heather Marie: Tons of pets! And you can interact with/ and hold all of them! From spiders, lizards and snakes to rabbits, cats and dogs. There's also hamsters and tons of birds! Staff are very friendly!

What they want me to do; take out a second mortgage on my house so I can buy a puppy .

Kylee Hannahs: I am a regular customer here buying items for my fur babies. Today I went in and was interesting in a puppy. I waited for 25 minutes patiently. Several employees walked past not greeting any customers. Finally after asking an employee to see a dog and expressing interest, the employee told me someone else is buying a dog and she can only help them right now. She said all other employees are busy. Staff is consistently rude and I will do my business elsewhere.

Amanda P: Visited the store earlier today and went over to look at the Sugar Gliders. While over there noticed that one of the gliders had his nail caught in his hammock and wasn't able to get himself unstuck. I alerted a staff member who walked over had no clue what a sugar glider even was and was freaked out. She then went to get someone else who walked over saw him stuck said "oh he does this alot" and proceed to open the cage rattle his hammock causing the glider to make sounds of distress and then walked away not freeing his nail and left him stuck. A word of advice from someone who has owned gliders and worked in a pet store. 1. Train your employees someone shouldn't be unaware or afraid of an animal in your store. 2. If they keep getting stuck don't you think you would A. Clip their nails B. Take out the hammock or C. Get them a wheel which they should have already had to trim their nails. Please be better and take care of your animals.

Allen McDonald: 2 stars because while I did get 3 beautiful budgies from this location 2 on a previous day and 1 new feather friend yesterday. I left ANGRY. The staff are the least helpful people. And I am more than surprised that my bird didn't have a heart attack on the drive home. Love how there is a caution sign that reads "parakeets scare easily" but when a staff member goes to retrieve one they handle it like a piece of garbage. The girl pulls the wrong one so she just turns the box over and smacks the top while the poor thing flops out and struggles to regain focus. When she gets ours out she almost breaks it's neck stuffing it into the box. Beware the pets purchased here. They're not treated to well. The only reason I will buy another pet from here would be as a rescue mission.i understand being in the pet business but doesn't give you a right to treat an animal unfair just because you can. That's a bully

I asked if they had a “guarantee” for their fish before I had left in case they were to die and the person on the register told me no. Will not be buying fish from here again, seems like a waste of money…I bought a fish from a different store as well, the same day, and he is thriving.

The employee upfront said, “they are this expensive, because it’s to make sure they don’t end out on the streets, since there is already many out there” Which sounds contradicting from my view. Because there are many street cats, you would want to lower price, not over price. The goal is to find them a forever home. Pricing that high will deter people from buying & that’s why they will continue to be in the “system”.

He showed me the exact materials I would need and what do to with them. Along with giving me great descriptions of both my 2 frogs and my 1 fish my boyfriend and I purchased. I will definitely return for anything else I may need in the future!!

Stephen Tharp: Ridiculous that you go through and purchase items for your pet and then they first of all don’t help you at all or even offer while you’re in the store and second they want to charge you for the bag they want to put the items you just purchased in. I didn’t realize they were trying to be like Aldi.

Of course, dad wanted to make her happy and that meant finding her a new friend.We are so happy to have come across Bailey. They were extremely helpful in helping us. Not only were they helpful in assisting us with picking out the newest members (yes members, guinea pigs are herd animals, so we needed to pick two out) of our family, picking out the items they'd need at home so they would be happy and healthy, but they were also very knowledgeable about the guinea pigs. They were very sweet and patient with mine and my husband's various questions and did not hesitate to take time from stocking items to help us pick out all we needed and explain the care process for the piggies.If you visit this location, I hope Bailey is there to assist you! They definitely made this trip/purchase easy!

Was sent a digital receipt with all the information from the paper one and they refuse to refund. It's disingenuous to present it as one and call it something else when there is an issue. I'm owned by a senior Shih Tzu, so most of the pics I shared are dog-related, but there's also plenty of supplies/goodies for kitties, fish and reptiles too. Special shout-out to Lori and Paula for being so welcoming and informative - I'm excited to see how my boy likes the free sample of the in-house, Made In The USA brand of food by Nutri Source and will definitely be back to get "Welcome To Your New Furever Home" gifts and Training Treats for all the new pups in my neighborhood! Please do note - Google Maps had a hard time finding the current entrance for this strip of stores, as the plaza has a little bit more construction to finish. Look for the backside entrance northeast of 421/Michigan Road.

Lædïî_Mane 2Real: Had some questions but no one is answering the phone, I know I picked a time when they are not busy but I never been to this location before, and it already on my bad side. I called 3 times, it ring until someone just answered the phone and hung up the phone. All 3 times. Don’t respond with a “What can we do to make this better”. Just fix your problem. I will take my business to another location or another pet store.

John Anderson: Disappointing visit today. I went in to purchase some fish around 11:30am, but there was no one to help customers who wanted fish. I asked the cashier for assistance and she paged over the intercom for someone to come to aquatics, but no one came. I waited for about 20 minutes before leaving empty handed. It has been difficult in the past to get help with the fish, but I've never had to leave with nothing. Very disappointed.

I showed him 4 photos attended by Sabra, person who received the dog and I explained to him in detail how we wanted it however I took him away because he didn't care about me and he gave him a poodle haircut, they left him completely hairless, bad service and little interest due to the lack of this person, Sabrá or Sabrina, not recommended Never again, bad service, photo 1 how they left it, photo 2 how I insistently asked for it in detail

Brad Heni: On 12/04/2022 I had an appointment for my 7-year-old Chocolate Lab to get his second flu booster at 5660 Crawfordsville Road Indianapolis, IN. On 10/30/2022, the date of his first flu vaccination, this date was approved and confirmed by staff member Jenny.On 12/04 I responded to a text message to fill out paperwork and confirm our appointment prior to arriving. As the instructions stated, we arrived 10 minutes early for the appointment after a 45-minute drive.Upon arrival we were informed that the location was out of the required vaccination and there was nothing they could do. So why did I receive text messages to confirm the appointment? So why did a staff member not contact me to let me know the location was out of the vaccine? So why was Jenny incredibly rude, almost pointing blame at me and saying, “there is a nationwide shortage and there is nothing we can do”. If a nationwide shortage does exist, why is PETCO scheduling appointments? So many questions and zero answers yet! There’s one question I can answer. Will I step foot into a Petco ever again or recommend Petco to anyone? ABSOLUTELY NOT!
