Sur La Table: what do users think?
Andrzej K: Did a the Thai date night cooking class recently. Overall this class was okay sharing a single burner with 3 other people was disappointing because most of us were standing around for 3/4 of the class luckily we had some wine. The other disappointment was the menu had coconut lime sorbet, which ended up being already pre-made for us so we were able to experience that in the class which should be stated when booking.Maybe another class might redeem this experience but at 90 dollars I was expecting more.
Ashley Richardson: Had an amazing Thai cooking class with chef Tony, would highly recommend!
Violet Feaster: Date Night Thai cooking class was so much fun! The chef was knowledgeable and helpful. We would definitely recommend and look forward to doing this again!
Kelly Stukenberg: I attended one of the pasta cooking classes and management of the class was extremely poor. Only verbal directions were given from the instructors, and it was very hard to hear. No demonstrations were done for the entire class to understand the steps. The instructor who knew the recipe better did attempt to help individually, however, there was not enough equipment for the entire class to do all steps at the same time. At the end, you were able to try the food you made. The ravioli was pretty good but the cannenoli was not even cooked. We consulted an instructor who tested the temperature and claimed it was cooked. After consulting the second teacher, he agreed the pasta was not cooked (we're talking sticky dough consistency). He told us to take it home and cook it longer in the oven. VERY DISPLEASED with this class given the money spent to attend and unappetizing result.
Kim “2XTREME” Lange: Took the Thai cooking class. Knowledgeable instructor and had fun.
Elisa Doll: I have concerns about a recent purchase that is also my first and likely last purchase. I bought some pricey hot chocolate as a gift for someone but the item I received has a torn off sticker on the front. For an expensive purchase it's worrisome because the sticker could mean it had been reduced price in store (for age or promotion). As a gift it's irritating because I have to try to remove it without damaging the art on the tin. As a consumer, if I pay more than is usual for a product I expect more from the product, and that includes the packaging. I cannot speak to the quality as of yet as I haven't yet gifted it. I hope that will make up for the initial disappointment. And it's why I am reluctant to give lower stars, though I still felt it's an issue that other consumers sgould be aware of, but is also too small to contact customer service (especially so close to the holidays). It's also good feedback for the company as I am sure that my expectations are not extraordinary.
Carol Metz: Trying to do some Christmas shopping on limited time, but frustrating when the store doesn’t open and it’s 10:10 . Lost two customers because of it. It was snowing and cold so waiting outside is very cold. More and more stores are not trustworthy.
W C: Terrible customer service
Tammy Owen: We were there for the date night cooking class. Chef Sarah, Josh and Donna were great. Lots of fun!! Signed up fir the knife skills class in a couple of weeks.
Wiley 6: My daughter just completed the Teen cooking class at the location in Carmel, Indiana and I wish I could say we were impressed. They didn’t do the mystery box on the last day, the Chef only lead the class the first day and they sent the kids home with undercooked brownies on the last day and told them they could finish cooking them at home. Not what we expected or paid for. Wish we had a better experience. We got a refund for the second week that she was going to attend because my daughter was not happy with them cutting out the mystery basket and the other issues with this week, she looked forward to doing that all week. Not worth the money if your kids want to really learn something. The food did not taste good either. I called to give feedback about our experience and was supposed to be contacted… still waiting.
theresa predmore: I gave one star because I can't give it a zero. Bought silverware sets and went to return and they hasled me about it. I had a fire and needed to replace my whole kitchen glad I only bought silverware to see if I liked the place and will never go to this store again. Beware horrible customer service. Took two trips and my husband to receive what was right.
Jake Wagner: Half my kitchen is from sur la table. We love their supplies, so when my significant other and I were recommended the cooking classes by one of the store employees we booked one. We have now tried to go 3 times. The first two were cancelled due to not enough guests. The third was cancelled due to employee illness. At least they were refunded. Very frustrating.
Jeannie Milan: Took the cooking with wine class, Scott was a great chef and instructor. Will take another class!
Jw Lee: They manage their cooking classes poorly. I bought Christmas cookie class and valentine cooking class for my kid but they canceled both with last minute notice. Going to a Sprout cooking class seems like a better option.
Maks Luthra: This review is exclusively for the poor management and lack of communication for the cooking classes. I purchased in-store cooking class as an anniversary present for me and my husband, and was charged $158 on my credit card. We reached the Carmel location for the class in heavy rain only to find that the store was locked but there were some other people waiting for the cooking class, so we thought maybe the instructor is running a bit late due to the rain. At 9:10 AM, an employee came. She told us that she cannot let us in but basically, there is no cooking class. She mentioned that the cooking class was canceled a week ago due to unavailability of the instructor and after checking the roster, she told us that someone may have tried calling me and would have left a voicemail.First, I didn’t have any missed call or voicemail in the past 10 days that I did not know about. Second, I was not refunded. This should’ve been the first thing they should've done if cooking class was canceled a week ago. Third, the person should have tried calling the alternate phone number (which I checked was there on the roster) or tried sending me an email to make sure the message was conveyed. It's been 4 days and I have still not received the refund. I have followed up with the store over email and have not heard back. I finally called their customer service today and a gentleman told me that in the system, he does not see that the cooking class was cancelled, so he is unable to issue a refund but he is escalating this to a team so they can review my case and follow up, which I appreciate.I am not sure if there is disconnect between the corporate and store management, but a client should not have to pay for this nonsense. You wasted our time on the day of the cooking class and are still withholding our refund for your lack of professionalism.
Rosette Fernandez: The manager Liz was incredibly rude on the phone after she let me know the class I purchased with my 9 yo daughter was no longer available bc there was no instructor. This class was a Christmas gift and there was no attempt to help rectify the situation or offer another class. I was told I needed to rebook but I knew the other classes were full. Also all of the classes are 14+ age, so I have no alternatives. I understand things happen but when there is no attempts to be kind or helpful that’s not ok
Jeanne Deangulo: So many cool kitchen gadgets!!
Ryan Mossakowski: I love Sur La Table due to the knowledge and customer service they have! Ever time I walk into the store I am greeted and notice how clean and organized everything is. If there is ever anything I need they are willing to help.I just recently had to deal with customer service and it was such a positive experience! I emailed them all the information and it was fixed shortly afterwards (less than an hour). I was very impressed!Wonderful company on all fronts and I’m happy spending my money there!
Brad Thurber: Friendly and helpful - but sometimes to the amount I would call hovering. I wish they would stock more of the products they carry on their website that get great reviews. The cooking class area looks very well equipped.
Heather Bailey: We did a cooking class at this location. It was super hands on and super fun! We made all of the food that we cooked. Learned some good cooking techniques. I will definitely plan to go back another time. Talking about planning our next date night there already. We made risotto, salmon, a new way to make a delicious fresh salad, and made a pastry. Chef Mel was a wonderful instructor! We was offered 10% off everything in the store after our class, and a discount on a future class, too. ..again, super fun, and totally will go back!
Mojo: Over-priced kitchen stuff but if you dig you will always find a deal. Nice place, friendly staff

Macaron Bar: what do users think?
Pamela Scott: Delicious macarons, fairly priced, and great service. We were in and out pretty quickly but didn't feel rushed. There was a nice variety of ready macarons. The associate who was behind the counter gave recommendations and explained the pricing (although there was a sign as well.) When we finally got around to trying them, there were no bad flavors. These were well made and delicious. Will definitely be back.
Kelly Stukenberg: I took a macaron baking class a few months ago and the instructor was phenomenal! Instructions were clear and guidance was given to correct technique. The end product was fantastic. Can't wait to try at home.
J V: Delicious desserts!
Colleen O'Sullivan: Decided to take the Macron making class. We were a little nervous because a 3-hr class could go either way. Jen was TREMENDOUS! She did an excellent job walking us through each step, with helpful hints and tidbits, equal parts serious and funny. It was SO worth it! Try to get Jen - you won’t regret it! Added bonus - boatloads of macrons and the recipes!!!
Maggie Vaitkus: Such a lovely place! The woman behind the counter was incredibly helpful and friendly, and of course the macaroons were delicious with really creative flavors. Will definitely be back sometime!
Hubert H. Gottfried J. D.: Received very kind service tonight! Definitely stop in— very cute shop!
Diego Silva: Son sabrosos, la atención es buena. El lugar es muy bonito.
Amelia B: I recently ordered a 7 tier macaron tower for our holiday party. The macarons were a smash hit- the whole party raved about them as they were absolutely delicious. The customer service was great- I will continue to order from them.
Shane Howard (Dead Man's Hand): Fast service, delicious macarons. Simple.
Sofia Wicker: Delicious!!
brownie 97: Very nice people! Such a cute gift idea.
Ian Mast: Love everything here! The new blueberry cheesecake macaron is amazing and my go to lemon lavender is .
Hakunnah Mu-tAH-TAH: I love it. I had an issue months ago and when I returned recently I expressed my concern with the last batch I had and the employee just made it right and made sure I was taken care of. I was so pleased with my order I came back days later & when she saw me in line she came up to me and asked how that batch was for me, i told her it was way better. That meant a lot for me, seeing that she cared about my experience and ensuring that everything was good. 5 stars Macaron Bar! You have a returning customer .
Jason Zarate: Amigos son muy buenos, 100% recomendado, tienen diferentes sabores y un excelente servicio
Judy Jones: Delicious...large variety...fum
David Mitchell: We made the best macarons at our first attempt.
Maria Khan: Really nice customer service and large quantity of flavors. They offer a free birthday macaron which has been a nice treat when meeting up with friends for their birthday on mass ave. The macarons are reasonably priced ($2.50 each) and sized. I also saw during my last visit they offer cooking classes ($84 for 3 hours) which sounds like a really fun activity to do.
Westin Williamson: Best in the city!
Tyler Spiker: Good macaroons, but they are pretty pricey and sadly there's not a very broad selection. I would justify the cost if there were more options.
Victoria Harrison: First time having fresh macaroons and I was not disappointed! The 6 macaroons box is a great way to try their many different flavors! They also offer a macaroon class that shows the in's and out's of perfecting these little treats!
elizabeth sittinger: so, I've been reluctant to leave a review because I have worked in bakeries for over ten years, and I know sometimes bad batches are produced.. but I was not very impressed by these macaroons. The over all macaroon appeared to be nice looking, fluffy, high feet, but it had a lack of filling and they were incredibly hard. The pistachio flavor I purchased you can clearly see a color difference at the base which indicates it was over baked. My other concern with the shop was they were not kept refrigerated, perhaps they rotate product regularly to maintain standard, or maybe they sell that quickly to not need proper storage. Overall, I would expect more from a bakery that specializes in one specific product, I do feel the price is very fair for macaroons though. I likely won't be back since I live in Lafayette and happened to find this cute shop when I was walking through Indianapolis, but figured I would leave input.

Taylor's Bakery: what do users think?
DIANE O'Connell: Never disappointed.
Anahi Peña Dominguez: Rico todo
Pam Kinslow: 🍩 holes were SO Good...wow!
Domica Jackson: Wonderful service
Padric O'Brien: To of the line.
Nick Damptz: Amazing
Marc Wolner: Great DOUNUTS..... People are very nice. Go there try it!!!
Jim Schreiber: Best cakes ever
Ann Brown: Best cake ever! Only my aunts homemade pound cake can compete. Very dense, with a homemade taste. I order all of my cake products here at Taylor's. You can't beat the taste! Cup cakes, carmel cake, white or chocolate, it's the best cake bakery around. For Christmas I tried the pecan pie, that wasn't as tasty but they never fail to deliver quality cake products.
shauna Mc: Local bakery with familiar faces, service is delivered with knowledgeable experience, and genuine smiles.Come here to order my family birthday cakes
Cathy Larsh: 50% off Valentine cookies. We're good. Not liking other pastries as much. Bought 2 dozen doughnuts for the nurse's at Cancer center. They were happy!
Scott Burrows: Love the cakes here!! 🎂
Tobi L. Gbadamosi: The staff is super friendly and the doughnut holes are addictive!
Pat Boylen: I am temporarily at a Physical Rehab facility & a resident here (who is over 100yrs old) celebrated a birthday. Staff here kindly brought me a piece of the cake, and Oh My Goodness.I have eaten cake my whole life. .....or so I thought. After haven eaten Taylor's Bakery cake....I now feel I have actually eaten cake for the first time.Now........THIS.......is .....cake, I thought.Oh my goodness. Describing the cake will still not do it justice but I will try.The cake was soooo airy, so light, so pillowy soft, so moist, melted in your mouth, so lovely and the taste was soooo superb...my goodness. I am so thankful to have had that slice because I now know what cake tastes like for the first time in my life.I looked at their website and Taylor's Bakery undersell themselves on it. Your cakes deserve awards. Have you searched online how to get Oprah to try it for her favorites list? Have you competed in any of the major contests? You should have awards to advertise on your website. Your cakes are amazing!... and yet your website basically says, "Here's a cake, buy it" ...essentially.Also, I don't wish to hurt anyone's feelings.....but your cakes are so amazing - they need a top professional cake artist to finish off the finalized product. I saw your examples online and the design and decorations are just not up to modern standards and techniques. Frankly, and this is going to hurt,......but.....the custom designs on your site and decorations look like a kid is doing them....i winced when I looked at them and was actually shocked that such an amazing cake looked like that in the final design. The odd thing is ....the photos on Google reviews that customers posted, show custom design cakes on display that look significantly more appealing than the ones you included on your own website. It would be great to hire someone who is 30 something, is an artist, and has a passion for cake decorating with modern tips and techniques. Cake decorators now are so talented that even the most complicated design wish, from the client, is nothing but a breeze to do nowadays. All the best towards this company for another 100+ years.
Kathy Ladavac: I’ve been a customer of this wonderful bakery for many, many years. Everything is delicious. Their special decorated cookies for Christmas, Valentine’s Day, Easter, St Patty’s Day always a delight with the little ones. Their raspberry angel food cake is to die for. Take a trip over. It’s a treat!!!
kristi jones: spent over $50 today on a variety of items from lemon bars to cake... all meh. I think this place used to be special. Save money... go to Kroger
Colby Hurford: I always forget this place is near me so this was the first time I've been there and it was great. Massive assortment, friendly people, quick service, delicious donuts. What more do you need?
Nathaniel Aiken: Had a few cupcakes. They were excellent. Kind of got away from the bakery with specialized cupcakes groups around the city. Nothing beats old fashion vanilla and chocolate cupcakesLoved them.
Katie Chapman: Such a wonderful bakery! Have been going here for over thirty years and always love what they make, from donuts to cake to breads. My dog loves their puppy treats too!
Nancy Swan: Always beautiful, tasty cakes and pastries.
Laura Elizabeth: We already know Taylor’s has great donuts and pastries! But what a cake their icing design is amazing 🤩 and if you’re considering trying yellow cake with chocolate icing it’s delicious!

Cretia Cakes Bake Shop: what do users think?
Linda Roberts: I ordered the caramel cake when it was featured on HSN.The cake arrived today &WOW !!!IT IS DELICIOUS !How do you make it so moist & lightI am definately a new fan.Glad it wss packaged so well.Needed each & every piece of packing to keepIt in one piece.Keep on baking!!!
S W: I got my husband a strawberry crunch cake for his birthday and it was delicious! It was huge so I thought there was no way we could eat it all but it was so good that we ate every bit. I arranged for store pick-up but they had deliveries in my area so they delivered it free of charge. Great customer service and delicious cake. I will definitely be ordering from her again.
Debbie Williams: Pie and rolls were delicious!
Sarah Thomas: Our cake was beautiful and delicious! I highly recommend Cretia Cakes.
Gary Crispin: Discovered their caramel cakes at Zoobilation. I can't eat chocolate so caramel is my obsession and I'm somewhat of a caramel connoisseur. They have the best caramel icing anywhere.
Whitney Klein: We contacted Cretia to make us a PICKLE CAKE for our prep chef and she did an amazing job! I sent her some pics I found online and she NAILED IT. She was also able to accommodate us on short notice which I really appreciated. (But don’t be like me and wait until the last minute) The cake was so perfect we didn’t want to cut into it! But we did, and it was delicious. THANK YOU for making us a PICKLE CAKE!
Mandi Perry: Great family business. LaCretia and Angelo go above and beyond to take care of their customers needs. Highly recommend.
Sherry Jones: I’m so happy I found Cretia Cakes! My grandson’s 1st birthday cowboy theme cake & smash cake were amazing. The cakes matched the decorations perfectly! The cake was moist and tasty.
Renee Marshall: Stopped in on my way to a party and they were closed, during hours of operation.
Diane Boyd: Delicious, to die for caramel cakes, kind, friendly and professional service!!! ❤️
Jennifer smerdel: Cretia cakes is AMAZING! I asked for a “Bluey” cake and a blue colored smash cake for my nieces first birthday and they absolutely knocked it out of the park. It look exactly like the photos I sent them AND everyone was talking about how the cake was delicious (which doesn’t always happen with cakes that look this good!). I couldn’t speak more highly of them and they were SOOO easy to work with and coordinate with too.
Iiva Smith: I was impressed by how when i left a message to place an order around 8pm on a Wed, i was called back within 30 mins and was able to pay and place and order online. I was told I could pick up on Saturday, perfect. However, when i called to checked to see what time they closed on Saturday ( me just arriving back in town from Miami) the man who answered the phone said i couldn't make it in they close at 2pm and that he has as an event he is about to work, and he doesn't open until the following Thursday but may be in Monday to pick it up. Disappointed that if the hours of operations are not convenient, just give me the customer a courtesy call. Now the cake will be old. So much for supporting black business, subpar customer service and operating like a small black business instead of franchising, and expansion. I tried to support. Thank God for my Jewish deli Shapiro's who will turn around a cake in 24 hours and be open conveniently so i can pick it up and enjoy it. We will never be exceptionally great...oh well. Just donated $45, the cake will be old once i am able to get it due to the operating hours. 🎂 Happy birthday, Mom!
Boo True (Boo): My granddaughter cake was so Amazing!!! Cretia and husband was so warm and welcoming thru the whole process. The sad thing about it all . I didn’t take a picture of my granddaughter 8th birthday cake. I😭 so sad about that. But over all I found a great bakery that does an amazing job, on 🔝 of good customer service. May I say more.. They BLACK OWNED , Hello Thank you Cretia bakery for a beautiful cake.
gabrielle edwards: I ordered some cupcakes for a birthday party, and if you like a store bought cupcake like Kroger’s or Meijer cupcakes then that’s literally what I believe you are getting. When I walked in the bakery I smelled absolutely nothing, there was maybe 3 or 4 cupcakes in the display case. To be honest I don’t even think it’s a real business. I honestly believe they went to Kroger’s bought some cupcakes placed them in some individual plastic containers and that was it! Nothing tasted fresh nothing tasted homemade and the icing was nasty.
Kelly Bryant: Both customer service and the cake were both top notch! Angelo was great. I’m very happy with how the cake tasted and looked. Highly recommend and well priced.
Jennifer M: Atomic cake!!!
Haley Logan: I ordered a birthday cake for a consultant I’ve been working with for a few years to celebrate his 80th birthday. The cake was amazing. I went simple and just had happy 80th birthday written on it, and I t looked so beautiful I didn’t want to cut it. The cake was very moist and the icing was supreme. I will be buying all future cakes from this business.
Telesha Smith: LaCretia has really delicious options! I have been able to try many of her vegan and gluten-free options and they are mouth-watering. I highly recommend.
rosey brown: Decorated my red velvet birthday cake Beautifully
Greg Cobb: The adult male working on August 1, 2020 was rude and combative. After a mixup he came out to car to without merchandise to continue his abuse. Their products are very good but not worth the hassle created and caused by this worker.Never again!
Traci Gross: Lacretia makes the best treats and they accommodate all types of dietary needs. The paleo, sugar free, gluten free chocolate chip cookies are the best I have ever tasted! 5 stars for sure!

Artisan Bakery and Pastries: what do users think?
Mark Ableman: Authentic Mexican bakery with authentic Mexican accents! It's also yummy

Noah Vázquez: La mejor pastelería & panadería de Indianapolis.🎂🤗🎂
Ihas23CRAYONS !!!: Never let down shopping here. Pleasantly surprised by how they put the words on the cake. It looks so much better than just writing it on top of the cake. I ordered Rompope cake and the flavor was perfect!
Julio Briones: Great tres leches cake and the place is clean, great service as well.
Fabiola Valdez: Deliciosos pasteles pasteles no dulces exelente todo

Hart Bakery & Gifts: what do users think?
Bubbles4112: Cannolis weren't filled with ricotta/custard, it was filled with frosting so it was too sweet. Same with creamed horns. Cookies were hard as rocks. Staff was nice.
Kayleigh Kaeser: Only place I get my King’s Cake
Jordan Clark: Great donuts and friendly staff!
Jessie Davis: Amazing experience MY first time ordering from them was last summer for my fiancé's surprise birthday dinner cake turned out AMAZING!
Miranda Williamson: We are in from out of town. Always like to shop local business when we travel. Should of just went to krogers and got the cupcakes. Spend 30 bucks on a dozen of cup cakes. They were horrible. Very dry and no flavor. It was very disappointing.
Kyle Jackson: Thank you so much for making my day! I walked in and at the start to the end you were so nice! The cookie and donuts were delicious! Souch a kind personality! I will be back!
Peggy Hicks: Amazing 👏 cookies
Renee Mehel: Never been before , so decided to go this morning while the doughnuts were good the lady at the front seem irritable and not as friendly as I would expect since I normally hear good things about it.
Kevin DeVries: Best donuts in Indy!!
Cheryl Dicken: Best donut holes in town!!!
Erica “Pookinopolis” Branch: Excellent little bakery with a hidden stache of incredible miniatures and more!Sandy and her staff were exceptionslly friendly and colorful! The sticky bun I had was out of this world delicious and I got a bunch of miniatures for my dollhouse that are very difficult to find at great prices! I hope to visit again in the near future!!! Highly recommend!!!
Laura S: The ladies working are very friendly! Tons of Heartfelt Creations stamps and dies, along with an assortment of other stamps brands, embossing powders, gems, stickers and some other things. She also carries miniatures and figurines. The apple turnover I had was delicious!
Dejah Delva: I been going to get cakes from them fo 15 years + they make every cake I need always mouth watering they like family to me ! I love u guys best cakes in town ! Ranisha
Keshia Echols: There doughnuts stay fresh all day and are so delicious. They are not to rich and not dry or bland.
Theresa Cole: Great
LaToya Pearson: They never disappoint I been here 3 years in Indiana found out a year ago about Harts love this bakery I might add I been here everyday this week I gotta stop
Staci Orr Gardner: I visited Hart Bakery for the first time and was so impressed!! The owner came out from the back to greet me. She was so proud to share a few of her favorite product recommendations. Before I left, she made sure I took a “Hart” magnet for my refrigerator. I am so glad I discovered this local gem. The baked goods are delicious, and the local heart of the business really shines through. I will definitely be back.
Susanne L.: Purchased specially ordered cupcakes. The vanilla cupcakes tasted salty. These were ordered for a baby shower. Very disappointed and will not purchase from them again. Cupcakes were very expensive 😡
Wendy Strohman-Allison: I will get feed back for this.I found for the price high, the doughnuts to be much smaller than Jack's doughnuts or even the dreaded Krispy Kreme. Much heavier on icing.Everyone has their favorite place for doughnuts. Heart isn't my favorite.
Jessica Capps: The Valentine’s Heart cookies somehow tasted like pickles. I don’t know how, but both of us adults got that taste. My kid did too, but he liked it.The younger lady behind the counter seemed out off that I was there and had questions as it was my first time there. I ended up buying quite a few cookies and treats and mentioned up front that I was getting quite a bit, but the lady put all my cookies (with decorative icing) in a bag together so the icing was smashed and smeared on every single one. I ended up with 5 individual bags of stuff, so I’m not sure why she didn’t use a box.The raspberry bars were great, and the powdered cookies in cellophane were great, but she made it seem like they didn’t make those in-house. They also tasted like anise cookies but the gal said they were almond. Either way, those were good. I just don’t know what the deal was with the cookies having that crazy pickle taste.
Mark Youngstafel: Best cake doughnuts

The Cake Bake Shop by Gwendolyn Rogers: what do users think?
brenda carnes: WAAAYYY to expensive
Lineth Camelo: Es un lugar muy agradable y elegante. El mesero que nos atendió nos hizo sentir muy bien pese a que íbamos muy casuales.
Violet Feaster: Enjoyable experience. The ham and brie sandwich with chicken velvet soup was perfect for a light lunch. The Carrot Cake was superb!
Eva Rodriguez: Omg this place its a dream ....I felt like into another World....a fairy tale one!..
LeAnne V: Beautiful place and delicious food. We will definitely be going back!2023 - My daughter first pick for a day date is here. I had asked if they could make a little note with "I love you always" with her favorite macarons (birthday and rose flavors) before arriving. It was perfect and something my daughter will always remember. We love the atmosphere, the tiny little details as you look around, the delicious food and the desserts are amazing. We couldn't leave without more macarons, the lavender lemonade, and cake for each of us! ❤️
BEVERLY GIBBS: This has been on my bucket list for a long time. It was perfect!! The staff was absolutely wonderful. They were able to squeeze us in early, and we have the perfect little table. My husband and I both got the chicken salad on croissant. It's was sooo good. I got the million dollar chocolate cake, and he got the French silk chocolate pie. They were both wonderful!! I can't wait to come back!!
Thomas Jordan: The cakes were okay but were so overpriced that it’s hard to justify giving this place a good rating. I think people are more interested in taking pictures for social media than the actual product. If that’s what you are going for then you might enjoy this place.
Hannah T: My boyfriend and I went for Valentine's Day lunch and dessert. Most of the food was great. The blueberry avocado salad was not my favorite thing ever, but still okay. Everything else was delicious. My only real complaint is, with it being Valentine's Day, I expected there to be a lot of cute Valentine's decor. Instead, the dining room was still decorated for Christmas, which was a bit strange with it being mid-February.
Lisa May: I am just confused. I tried the pixie cake tonight and I don't get the hype. That was a $15 slice of cake for something that tastes like the Kroger Bakery section.
Edwin Klipsch: Customer service excellent and cakes were delicious.
Kenny Matthews: I would give a 0 if I could - The broad ripple location smells like mildew. Also bad management. Don’t recommend!!!!
Marcia Jenkins: What a beautiful, special place. The food and staff were outstanding. Looking forward to returning soon.
bella z: A massively overhyped cake. We got the chocolate and the coconut. The coconut was much better than the chocolate. I've eaten way better for much less - definitely not worth the price. I'd say its only worth about $12. Way too sweet, doesnt taste decadent, and very heavy - clearly aimed toward an audience of younger children who have more of a sweet tooth. Two people will struggle to finish a slice so you don't need to order more than one.The place was overcrowded and cramped, service was poor. You couldn't fit more than one person between the tables. If it wasn't hyped up and half the price, I would've given it a 4 out of 5.
Michelle Bann: Lovely place for great desserts. A little bit on the pricey side.
André: Unless these slices are made by Willie Wonka himself, they're now severly overpriced. Recently bought TWO slices of cake (coconut and red velvet): $34. Cake was dry, like they served me the cake in the back, not the fresh one in the display.
Nick Blinn: Nice shop, Great staff during our Visit.Nick & Daniel took Great Care of us. Desserts were Divine,
abhinav chandrappa: A whole lot of bling but nothing mindblowing. The food was good but extremely overpriced.
Mula Patel: This visit was a disappointment. I've brought my mom several times before, but I am not sure if we will be back. We made reservations and arrived on time. It took a bit to be acknowledged and several minutes for someone to come back and seat us. This location is very tiny, and we could see three open tables and there was no reason we should not have been seated right away. It then took several minutes for the server to show up. He was friendly but a little more concerned with giving a dramatic welcome than he was with attentive service. It took nearly 10 minutes to get an iced tea and coffee once he finally took our drink order. I had to get up and find him to get refills. We ordered choose two combos which took a very long time to receive. In all, we were in the restaurant well over an hour before our meals were served. The cakes were beautiful, as always, but the portions were smaller. Hard to believe because they were still big, but it was noticeable, and we compared them to photos from past visits just to be sure. At $16 per slice, you expect a large slice. The coconut cake was very dry. The filing was amazing, but I don't know that it made up for a dry sponge. In the past we always ordered cake to take home but this time we didn't bother. The atmosphere is adorable, and my mom loves to go there but it cannot stand on charm alone. The focus needs to return to the cakes for which the restaurant is named and to improve the quality of service.
Kara Monroe: Elegant, high end bakery. I prefer the cookies, fruit pies and bars over their cakes (just personal preference) but it's all always delicious. If you have the opportunity, make a reservation well in advance and enjoy the dine in experience to blend sweet and savory. This is definitely a must see option if you're visiting Indy
Westin Williamson: Super over-rated and crazy over priced.
J P: Service was bad food was like parnera. I would say go there for the cake and cookies.Food: 3/5|Service: 2/5|Atmosphere: 3/5 …More
