Indianapolis Art Center: what do users think?
Carole H: Incredible sculpture gardens with a beautiful park with waterfalls, historic sites. And an extremely excellent view of the riverI happen to be staying at the hotel next door and had to come check these statues out. These are on the outside park are and there is no entrance fee. Plenty of picnic areas.
Alica Coffey: Amazing place to take classes and learn different forms of art, the teachers and staff are great as well!
Kaylee Schlecht: Great experience and it was absolutely free(I’m not sure if it’s always free or it was a special event). These photos are from a few months ago but I’m still amazed when I look at them. Very creative and talented artists! If you’re ever in Indy go ahead and stop in you won’t be disappointed.
Erin Ellis: Beautiful both indoors and outdoors. A gem of Indy!
Amber Love: Absolutely beautiful campus, with events scheduled throughout the year. The installations on the grounds are always really cool, but even without the structures, there are benches and an overlook from which to watch the river. I love seeing the seasons change here. The classes I've attended have also been worth every penny, particularly the glass blowing. Highly recommend!
Jaime Chanter: Such a great spot! We walked the trails and saw the sculptures. We headed inside to warm up at the little coffee shop. The library was cozy and clean with even some sweet little kid art books. The inside galleries were super cool and the workshops looked fascinating!
Salma Bakr: Was looking forward to this art center, but found it closed during opening hours, and even the artspark was dark so we couldn’t see anything. Will try to revisit when in Indianapolis again!
Shirley Green: I loved visiting the Indianapolis Art Center, there are so many amazing Artists able to showcase their artistic abilities. It has truly inspired me to get back into my art, especially seeing my son Mechi and daughter Shanel's artwork on display!! 👏🏾
Mark Swaim: Great place to express your art side and meet new people.
Ivan Sleet: Awesome exhibition for Flava Fresh!
Paul Oliveira: Excellent venue for our charity concert.
First Email (Abyssal): Learning animation here. Gonna take more classes here later into next year.
Hills Chan: Love it. I’ve done many classes here in woodworking, metalworking, watercolors. Almost a fun time, everyone is super nice, and u get cool stuff to take home
Colton Weber: Very good.
T Shirley: Lazy staff, no general knowledge of their posted policies or follow-up to issues. Grounds are reasonably maintained but interior is dirty with some areas like the library in need of maintenance.
Daniel Mack: Great place for learn art for the family.
Holasonia Garcia: Buena sala de exposiciones. Lugar donde se pueden hacer cursos
Lainey B: Great art center with nature trail
Elizabeth Renee: Lovely!
Wendy Lentz Civil: The Indianapolis Art Center is my new favorite happy place as the art lover I am.You can visit the Indianapolis Art Center to discover the work of amazing artists. Take Art and creative classes for you or children. When I visited them, the work of the artist Bad Habbit was being exhibited. She’s such a talented artist. It was also the 50th birthday of the center, so they had an amazing fair which I really enjoyed.
Just Sherri: Pretty fun place with things for all ages.

Haley Scott: One of the employees followed us around for 20-30 minutes and was so close to us that she could hear us whisper. It was uncomfortable. The rest of the time we were aloud to walk around unbothered.
John D. Massey: This place is amazing! You could spend hours meandering around the exhibits, grab a cappuccino in the cafe and then wander the exquisite gardens outside! We went in on the first Thursday of the month as it was free admission!Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Not sure Price for adult entry Free …More
Alyssa Shoemaker: We saw the MONET show which had art projected on all the walls and floors which was epic, and they had beautiful music!! Their gardens are also beautiful, and they have a good café in the building too!! The coffee is strong though, be warned! They have such an amazing atmosphere and lots of exhibits! They even had a photobooth where you can put different art style filters over it!! Super neat!! Highly recommend for a fun day out!!

Kathleen South: The gardens are 5 stars, the museum ( for me) was a 3 star, most was just not my type of art but many people seemed to like it. danicka refugio: Had a photographer pass to go to the Newfields Spring Bloom event. Right after I got proposed to (literally right after. I said yes and we hug) a worker came up to us bugging us if we had a photographer pass. We could barely comprehend he was talking to us bc we were still on a high from our engagement. The camera our photographer brought is huge too (tripod and all) and we wouldn’t have been able to get past security without the photography pass. Very much ruined the moment. Please train staff to give people space. Needs better communication, transparency between coworkers and review of policies.
Amber Love: I have been a long time patron of the art museum but I'm disappointed by the direction the curation has taken. Many of the old favorites are no longer on display (it makes me ill to think of all the incredible artwork just rotting in the basement), and the ones left on display feel disjointed. I used to spend hours at a time in a single room, absorbing the paintings and enjoying the atmosphere, but it's different now. In an effort to bring in new artists, they've alienated many of their oldest fans. So many of the pieces feel like they were dumped randomly in a display case together--I feel like I've seen employees at Goodwill take more care in sorting like items. The spaces that had the most character, like the rotunda with the stained glass artwork and the early Indianapolis oil painting, leading in to the room with the O'Keefe lilies, is gone completely, and the lilies aren't even out. Overall, I'm really disappointed in the "new" museum and wish they'd return to the classic IMA exhibits.

Alana Harper: Everything about Newfields is beautiful! The beer garden is the perfect spot to spend a spring afternoon, and the food and drink options are excellent. During the holidays, Winter Lights is a must-see! It's the most amazing light display I've ever seen. Make sure to try the 21+ peppermint hot chocolate and/or apple cider.Visited on Weekend Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Yes …More
Madison Young: It is a very nice art museum. Decent food and coffee but way overpriced depending on the item. Vegetarian options whichbis nice. The lume exhibit was really epic. Very clean. Enjoyed interactive exhibits.
Amber Long: Beautiful museum and gardens. We had a great time exploring and seeing all the art.Visited on Weekend Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Yes Price for adult entry $16–20 …More
Lori Adams: Went to see the Monet and Friends exhibit which was great except that there was very LIMITED SEATING and I ended up having to sit on the floor which was uncomfortable and distracted from the presentation.Loved the interactive parts of the museum. Grounds were beautiful.
Henry Rodriguez: If your into the arts, then this is the place for you. So much to see we didn't get to it all in one go. We'll be back again.Visited on Weekend Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Yes …More
John Evenson: We enjoyed the Impressionist show in the Lume. After about an hour in the Impressionist display (30 min in impressive Lume presentation and 30 more in rest of the display) we spent another 1 to 1 and a half hours quickly browsing the rest of the museum. I am not an art museum guy, but I found this a very enjoyable stop on our vacation.Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Yes Price for adult entry $21–30 …More

CityWay Gallery: what do users think?
Sarah S: Literally weren't even open when they said they were. I tried to go there in the middle of the day Wednesday and it was locked. Didn't even look like that big of an exhibit anyways :(
Jennifer Delgadillo: I love that they give artists room to figure out their work in different environments. That they have a publication, fund original work and curate exhibitions with work by local and international artists makes them the coolest arts org in town.
Marco Ciarrocchi: Molto bello
Darien Beall: Wish they had more art but it was cool!
Ariel Allen: Dear Newfields: please list somewhere on your website that you will close many hours early for a special event. It is highly inconsiderate and downright rude to your patrons.
Lisa Massey: I was surprised by the lack of variety. The space seems more suited to special events rather than for anyone simply wanting to take in some art.
Telene Edington: Great space. Interesting exhibitions
Jason Smith: It was very lovely though a bit oddly spread out
W.T. S.: Quite alot of negative nelly's rating the IMOCA on irrelevant things. The IMOCA used to have two locations, one in Fountain Square and one at Cityway. No, neither were huge, they're contemporary art galleries, when are those ever huge? The fountain square location was closed when Hi-Fi expanded. It's a nice place to view the kind of art you'd rarely see in Indiana, also you can park for free on the street near cityway and walk. It's not that big of a deal.I love popping in every once in awhile to take a gander at the exhibits.
Aaron Rosenberg: Not so much a museum as a single piece of art. Not a great location considering parking costs for what it is.
Elena: Yep, it is actually not a habitual museum, no guidance, no fees, few things to see. It is more a rental space to exhibit young talents or something. It feels a little queer to walk in, find a single exhibition room, no staff and no instructions. If you enjoy weird experiences, it is a place to go :)
Avram Granett: So the "museum" itself is totally disappointing. A single room with one exhibit. We were lucky enough to have met an employee who was setting up an event in the space to explain:The "museum" is a part of the hotel - The Alexander. The hotel displayed some of the most interesting modern art (curated like a museum with informational placards and quotes about the pieces from the artists.)
eden rosey: That posted the wrong address

Long-Sharp Gallery: what do users think?
Cindy Martin: Great experience every time! The gallery offers a superb variety!
Terri Vahey: An amazing gallery of very fine art!
Gary Dolick: Long-Sharp Gallery at the Conrad is a true treasure in Indianapolis. Rhonda, Nicole and the rest of the staff are definitely professionals, while still maintaining a relaxed environment to experience and aquire great art. With a strong emphasis on local creators, the gallery also includes works from more famous artists like Andy Warhol, Keith Haring, Roy Lichtenstein and several others. Unlike many galleries, Long-Sharp owns a large percentage of their art instead of consigning it. That shows their commitment to the artists and makes me proud to support them. Please do yourself a favor if you're visiting our city and make time to stop by their gallery. You'll be happy that you did!
Jerry Masters: Simply put, Rhonda and her team are FUN! Considering art for purchase, at any price, is stressful. Laughter and fun are an essential part of the Long-Sharp experience. When that art doesn't feel "right" to you, they know it isn't meant FOR you. That said, her peers in the profession describe Rhonda as "tenacious" when advocating for her clients. Without a doubt, she is. If you're looking for a gallery who puts your interests first, there is no better place to explore a world of art than Long-Sharp.
Megan Miller: From our first visit, we've felt very welcome. Over time we've become friends and almost family. LSG has been our art home away from home. We have been introduced to many local, African, female, and Asian artists' work as well as the historic aspect of the art world. We cannot wait until the doors open again to public gallery showings. We miss you, Long-Sharp Gallery!
Sheila Gamache: Fabulous gallery, owner so knowledgeable; I learn so much about art with every visit.
Steve Hamilton: A visit to Long-Sharp Gallery is a real treat. We always enjoy viewing the art displayed and have purchased several fantastic contemporary works in our collection from this gallery. A must see on your next visit to downtown Indy.
John Friedlander: We have made several purchases from Long-Sharp. From the beginning we were treated like VIP customers. Rhonda and her team spent a lot of time telling us about the artists in which we were interested, reviewed the artists' work and provided superior customer service once we decided to purchase. The friendliness and expertise of this gallery is unsurpassed, as well as representing a unique stable of artists. Long-Sharp will definitely be our go-to gallery in the future, and we always look forward to seeing Rhonda and the team when they show here in South Florida.
william clark: I've bought many fantastic art works from these guys and always been great to deal withRhonda and her team are as good as they get .William
Brian Namey: Navigating the art market, especially for the artist I’m beginning to collect, is extremely complicated. Long-Sharp Gallery was helpful beyond my expectations — professional, thorough, informative and truly a pleasure to work with. I live half way across the country from the gallery, but Rhonda and her team treated me like a respected neighbor. Furthermore, I appreciate the ongoing relationship the gallery has cultivated through correspondence about shows, artists and timely topics of interest.I wholeheartedly recommend Long-Sharp Gallery to any collector or admirer of art.
Flora Major: I know this gallery and it's owners, Rhonda and Nicole for about 10 years. I found them very knowledgable and I respect their opinions. So much so, that I have bought several pieces of art from them. I can highly recommend this gallery to anyone who has a sense of humor AND wants great contemporary art at an affordable price.
kc cohen: Rhonda and Nicole's sense and sensibilities are unparalleled in this market and highly competent in the real power centers-we look forward to encountering them and their collections anytime we can.
Brandon Walsh: A world-class gallery in the heart of Indy. With local and international artists attending most exhibition openings, you can expect inspiring work, lively conversation, and an unmatched experience for art collectors and enthusiasts alike.
Paul Newrick: Amongst a sea of charlatans, great to find someone who really understands the modern and contemporary art market and can separate the hype from the reality in advising clients. You can see why a business survives long term with repeat customers when it is driven by the love of the works rather than profit. Very happy with my purchases over a number of years and sure there will be more :-) Highly recommend.
Gay Burkhart: Rich source of ever new, ever changing art. Great artists with exciting variety of perspectives represented. In the heart of downtown Indianapolis which enables me to drop in often to see what's new whenever I'm downtown for other reasons or for the delightfully fun openings.
Kent Liffick: Long-Sharp Gallery consistently presents the highest quality original artwork from a very diverse group of artists. I have collected art fro my home for 20 years and consider Sharp the most knowledgeable and reputable of all who I have dealt with in those 20+ years. I just wish they still had the "Dali Kathmandu" that I hesitated on and will regret for many years to come.
frank dangeard: LSG has an excellent selection of art works, is proactive, advises soundly and provides excellent service. One of my favorite galleries
Naomi Baigell: Long-Sharp Gallery continues to present important exhibitions and, through COVID, has provided accessible virtual tours so that I did not have to miss an opportunity to be enriched by art. I was so moved that I acquired a work (sight unseen) by Lavett Ballard. From beginning to end, the team at the gallery was incredibly responsive, thoughtful and supportive. They work from the heart. From exhibitions to acquisitions, the education and resources they provide are so valuable and helpful. Please visit them in person or virtually.
Peter Derow: Long-Sharp is the best. Great art and the folks are the best in the business. Absolutely trustworthy. Wonderfully accommodating. We have bought a number of pieces from Rhonda nd Nicole.
steve schlafer: nicest people ever. Great notepads too
Barry Crume: We discovered Long-Sharp Gallery at the Palm Beach Modern + Contemporary Show. We were instantly drawn to Rhonda and Nicole's warm invite to learn more about their featured artists. We spent over an hour together discussing the artists, pieces for sale, history of the artist's sales records and possible investment potential. We liked Rhonda and Nicole's honesty and work-ethic in regards to white-glove delivery, communications and follow-up. We have acquired pieces from Long-Sharp Gallery on three different occasions and have been pleasantly catered to during each transaction. One of the best parts of becoming a Long-Sharp Gallery client is that you feel as if you have finally met a gallery owner who treats you as a part of their family, and this is priceless.

Gallery Forty-Two: what do users think?
Michelle Diamond: Working with Gallery Forty Two was even more wonderful than we could have anticipated. We rented the venue unseen from another state for a corporate celebration being held in Indiana, and upon arrival we couldn't have been more pleased. The setting was beautiful, a small but mighty gallery that absolutely elevated our event. Fancy but funky with different styles of art and sculptures throughout provided for an incredible atmosphere. While we waited for guests to arrive they turned on the self playing piano which added to the ambiance. Once we switched to a playlist and opened the bar upstairs it allowed for our guests to mingle, speak, and enjoy each other's company. What truly made our experience was the incredible customer service we experienced with Gallery Forty Two. Planning an event from another state has its challenges, but Linda and Mary had everything handled before we arrived. During the event they knew our needs before we asked, and when we did ask for assistance with bringing out extra chairs or asking for supplies they were quick to handle our requests. Their professionalism and efficiency was incredible, and though these are perhaps things you come to expect from venues, their kindness and grace made working with them one of the best experiences in event planning.
Victor Gersdorff: Amazing pieces,. Great atmosphere. Knowledgeable and helpful staff. Bar. Definitely a must see.
Monica: Breathtaking. Love, love, love this space
Dana Granholm: Did a wedding here, truly a unique space. Elegant and one of a kind in an awesome location.
Ryan Jung: Cool event space with some neat sculptures inside
Penny Kennedy: Nice place.
R J: Love this place is nice
dewayne blazek: Went for a tasting event and it was just a beautiful venue. I like the fact that it was a working art gallery. It made the event all that much more intriguing.
Christina Winn: I went for a wedding. It turned out to be a nice venue.
Brandon George: I had a work event here, a reception. Curt was excellent to work with, and made things very easier. It's a beautiful venue, but unfortunately, several people who walked in were not familiar with it. Spread the word about this place! Would highly recommend!
Roger Deetz: Beautiful venue and fair price. It's wonderful to be able to choose your own artwork for the wedding, and Curt and team are very flexible and happy to accommodate.
Randi hanna: Awesome exhibits from local artists :)
sarah walter: My husband and I had our wedding here last month and it was amazing! Nick and Curt are so great to work with. They were really flexible and responded quickly throughout the planning process. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect. The gallery itself is gorgeous and the downtown location feels very chic and metropolitan. The venue had everything we needed and we couldn't be happier. Thank you Gallery Forty-Two!
Wesley Craig: My wife and I had our wedding here and we were sincerely humbled by the helpful service of Curt and Nick through the whole process. They were so accommodating to our needs and requests and truly went the extra mile in service.I'll give you one example - the morning of our wedding my wife forgot to get orange juice for mimosas to drink in the bridal suite. Nick simply heard us say "Shoot, we forgot orange juice" and he left the building and bought it on his own and brought it upstairs for us.The best way I can describe working with this venue is that it feels like your close friends or family members happen to own an art gallery they are letting you use for your special event.
T Abrams: My daughter used this venue as a wedding reception and it was a wonderful and fantastic experience from day one. A+++++
Carolina Carnicelli: Exquisite art, beautiful gallery
Lindsey Walker: My husband and I had our wedding ceremony and cocktail reception this past Memorial Day weekend at Gallery 42. The venue was perfect and exactly what I was looking for, an intimate and sophisticated (but very unique) setting.Curt helped us present a flawless evening for our friends and family! We loved having the flexibility of hourly availability or all day use, as well as the use of the third floor bridal suite. We used a preferred caterer and their already established relationship with the Gallery made for a stress free evening. We absolutely loved our experience! Our friends and family are still talking about what a beautiful setting we chose!I can't say enough about how great our experience was, we highly recommend this venue!
Alycia Sellers: I walked into this gallery knowing this would be the place I marry my now Husband. Curt the owner was wonderful to work with from the start. He provided us with several details about the building and how he came to own it with his brother. The building itself was beautiful back in 2016 when I booked it for my venue. However, the building is even more AMAZING now that the third floor has been renovated, which was completed before my March 2017 wedding. My guest loved the venue and still are talking about its beauty to this day. In fact, my guest still talk about Curt and how he was so involved in making our day so special. Not only did he meet with our vendors several times to make sure things went smoothly, he also contacted us with any new updates or renovations taking place. I even got to hand pick the art that I wanted on the walls for all three floors! Oh and yes there is a huge elevator that goes up to the third floor. My grandmother is handicapped and was able to enjoy my first dance on the second floor easily. On the day of the wedding Curt was ready to go helping with everything! By the end it felt like Curt was part of the family! After the wedding Curt boxed up all of our decorations with the vendors and had them waiting for us the following day to pick up. My husband and I researched many venues and know Gallery Forty-Two is by far the best one in Indianapolis!
Nick Russell: My wife and I just had our wedding here and everything was fantastic! The venue is gorgeous and is in a really great location about a block from the circle. Curt and Nick did absolutely everything that we asked for and then some to make the day special for us. From letting us in early on Friday to begin setup, to assisting us with flipping the venue before the reception and helping tear down after the night was through and everything in between. They bent over backwards to make sure our day was perfect and as stress free as possible. I would highly recommend Gallery Forty Two to anybody looking for a wedding venue in the future.
Wojtek Pilczynski: I have promoted art for over 25 years and owned 5 fine art galleries before I retired. I know great potential when I see one. Gallery 42, although relatively young, is already showing great signs of becoming one of the most prominent places to buy art in the region. There are many fantastic pieces already there and one can only expect very soon the collection to become solid from wall to wall. Definitely worth a personal visit and keeping eye on their development as new noteworthy art institution in Indianapolis.
Micah H: Great event space! The space is absolutely beautiful. Nice people, easy to work with and fair pricing. Highly recommended.
