Refused to do the return and refused to give me her name.Chris rudely came over and refused to do the return.Both of them gave me very racist and unwelcoming attitudes.THIS IS VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. AND I WILL NOT BE SHOPPING HERE AGAIN.

Jason Bowers: Big store with a large selection but the good stuff is picked over and limited sizes. Also the store is rather messy.

Bill Wallace: Terrible customer service. Manager 02.12.2023 was very rude and not helpful. Went to another store and was completely satisfied with the outcome and customer service. Will not be shopping at the 86th street store.

Lucia Zafar: It is rare for me to post something bad. However. My family spends a stupid amount of money in this store annually, with shopping and gifts. Most of what we wear, probably comes from this establishment. After gifting several items to each member of the family from this store for Christmas, one item needed to be exchanged. My daughter tried, but didn’t have a receipt as it was a gift. They said they would refund .48 cents, because it was the lowest amount it would be sold for. It was five days after Christmas. So I went in. The employee told me that it looks sketchy to return something without a receipt. Thank you, young girl for the scolding. Could you be more rude? Never mind the fact that a scan of the tag would immediately pull up any information you need. (Yes, in retail that’s actually a thing) but that’s not the point. So I gave her my receipt, and she reluctantly refunded it so I could then regift it in a card. Thank you for the tedious, disrespectful experience. The literal thousands of dollars annually will be spent in a different store from now on. Customer Service? What might that look like?

Doggetts Automotive Machining: Called on April 19th waited on hold for 3 mins before someone actually answered. Transferred me to the gun counter and no one answered after 15 mins on hold. I had actually set my phone down on speaker and forgotten about it came back and was still on hold, then called back told them what happend and they transferred me again. They then picked the phone up and hung up. Today the 20th I called again, again the same thing 3 min wait to be answered and got transferred only to wait 5 mins before I hung up called back transferred again for them to answer and hang up again. I’ll be calling the corporate number after this. I only wanted to know if they had something in-stock. This place is very rude and unprofessional also apparently way understaffed.

Frank McKeon: I asked the store manager if they would price match a local competitors price and he explained to me that they would not price match the item because it was on clearance at the other store. I informed him that I pulled up the Cabela’s price match policy and it did not say anything about not matching the price of clearance items at a local competitors store. The item did meet all of the requirements of the Cabela’s price match policy, and then I asked the manager if you don’t price match clearance items, can you please show me where it says that in your policy and he refused to he just kept verbally telling me they don’t price match clearance items and I said I totally understand that as long as you can show me that in your policy because I am reading the requirements on your website for price matching and they’re not lining up with what you’re saying. Am I missing a document somewhere here please let me know he refused to provide me with any actual documentation or website links that could. Back up, what he was verbally just telling me which was basically just his opinion. If you have a price match policy on your website and the item meets the policy on your website, I don’t believe you should be able to add additional details to the policy verbally just so that you don’t have to price match it that’s false advertisement.
