Myriad Yoga: what do users think?
Benjamin King: Joining cross-fit was always something that I was skeptical to try mainly to the fact that I was afraid I would injure myself. This is something that you do not have to worry about here! The trainers are very knowledgeable and will coach you on proper technique rather than how much weight you can lift that day. This is a great community to be apart of. You will get the chance to meet a lot of great people!
Lucas A: Had the pleasure of dropping in while I was in Indianapolis. Setting up the drop in was easy through the website. Filled out the form and got a quick email and text. The coach, Richie I believe, we friendly and welcoming. Equipment was in good shape and the workout was fun. It looks like there’s some construction in progress and the gym will improve even more. If I’m back in Indy, I’m sure I’ll drop in again.
Will Fresch: Great gym, great coaches, fun community!
Lemar Kearse: I’m a long time CrossFit veteran and crossfit affiliate, and I really enjoyed my time at Myraid CrossFit. Coach Nick was super cool and made my stay during my business trip downtown very enjoyable.
Amanda Hepler: I started with Practice Indie Yoga way back in the day. The atmosphere is welcoming and casual. So many types of practice to fit your needs. The Yogis care in a way that's incomparable.
Savanna Lueken: Shoot, how have I not reviewed Practice Indie Yoga yet when it's one of my most cherished local businesses?!I can not rave enough about this community and the yoga classes offered here. But it's really not just about yoga when it comes to Practice Indie; this space offers so much more than that. They've brought me guidance and motivation during their yearly Goal Setting Workshop. I've learned Tarot and Astrology through other various workshops they offer.. which speaking of astrology, I absolutely look forward to their Wednesday Astro Flow with Megan Hanna each week. The Saturday morning Spirit Journey class with Shannon is always a sweet treat usually leaving me with fun life / philosophy wisdom to ponder all weekend. All of the instructors are just the most beautiful, inspiring, and genuine souls who will greet you by name ensuring you feel apart of this community. The monthly membership is legit affordable and they have different options per different lifestyles. Also the way they pivoted to offering Hybrid- Zoom/In-person classes during the pandemic may be my new favorite addition now that I can practice from the comforts of my home. I could go on..But this place is doing all the right things so take it from me- I've tried a few other studios around the city- Practice Indie Studio is a magical, hidden gem that you want to find yourself at - literally & figuratively.
Michael Flint: Rocks
Parisa Mansoori: Practice Indie is the best yoga experience in Indianapolis. Full of friends, community, yogis, and inclusion. Shannon and her glitter gang have created a gorgeous space full of love an commitment to improving the community. No matter your practice level, there is a place for you. They offer so many classes to suit your needs, and their motto "you do you" yoga, allows for everyone to feel comfortable in class. There are many teachers and many styles, so you can find your fit. I love the heated classes and the energy of all of the teachers. Would recommend to everyone looking for a place to practice!!
Isabella S: I love practicing yoga here! Everybody is so nice, and from the first moment I stepped inside I felt welcomed. There are many different classes suited for everybody, and the schedule is very convenient. I recommend it from the bottom of my heart.¡Me encanta practicar yoga acá!
Miranda Dafoe: Practice Indie is more than a place to practice yoga, it’s a community of people who want you to be your best self. Since joining, I’ve grown so much deeper in my yoga practice and mental clarity. Every instructor brings incredible energy and skill to each class. The instructors make modifications for you no matter your skill level and offer adjustments with your consent to help you reach further. As a bonus, there’s always sage or incense burning which helps you zone out when the vinyasa gets a little intense so you can just focus on your breath. Also— sometimes there are fun, special treats like free tea samples or a community clean up project that help bring members closer and give you more reasons to be thankful for the community. I’ve been a member since January and I couldn’t imagine going anywhere else.
Maggy Spolnik: I have been practicing here for about 8 months now. I feel very welcomed and this studio gives you more than just the movements. They encourage and support their students often teaching life lessons that you know, but need to be reminded of. Teachers are very skilled and this is place that welcomes all.
Aubrey Kearney: I have been practicing yoga for years off and on - have never enjoyed a studio like this. The instructors at Practice Indie can accessibly introduce you to a new pose, push the edges of a pose for you, and even help find meaning and intention in a pose that you struggle with. Everyone is so approachable and kind and welcoming - if you are looking for a "yoga home" I can't imagine a better one. Prices are very reasonable, and there are many classes to choose from that are each very unique. Come for the instruction, stay for the community 3
Emma Doud: A cute, welcoming studio with an incredible wide range of classes. Lots of class times available - I still need to check out that competitive napping!
Britni Farace: Everyone here is so sweet and kind. I love the accepting and inviting atmosphere. Foundations of Yoga is a great one on one program to help you feel out your ability level and what modifications you may want to use, and get ready to join regular classes. Love this place!!
Aron Parker: Dropped in from Florida. Great coaching and workout!
Monica Scruggs: CrossFit Naptown was very welcoming to me be a short term member while I was interning for the summer. The coaches are knowledgeable and friendly, the other members are welcoming, the workouts were tough but had lots of scaling options and facilities were clean. Overall a great box!
Bobby Medler: Dropped in from outta town. Good gym with friendly staff and athletes! Fun and challenging workout!
Humaid Alnuaimi: What an amazing gym!! I joined this gym for about two years, and I really love it. It has very good coaches and awesome community. My fitness improved very well for the last two years. I strongly recommend it.
Jillian Lain: Practice Indie is truly a community. I participated in their Yoga Teacher Training this year, and the teachers were welcoming, super knowledgeable, and created a great space for learning and personal growth. The training allowed me to deepen my nearly 10 year practice in a way that taught me how to implement the knowledge/experiences I already had through my own practice, and also apply to knowledge given to me in order to create a safe and educational yoga experience for students.
David Krause: Best CrossFit gym in Indy. They have classes for all levels of CrossFit and weightlifting, as well as multiple levels of yoga. Amazing coaches. The Nutrition program is also excellent.
Heather Givans: Practice Indie and Shannon Brasovan are the real deal. If you're wanting to be among practitioners who care about adding to the light of this world, you've found a friend here. Practice Indie is a beacon for yogis wanting to deepen their hearts, minds, and practice. I recommend this studio without reservation.

CITYOGA School of Yoga and Health: what do users think?
Jessica Thomas: Unfortunately I had to stop going to City Yoga due to their terrible cancelation policy. Note, if you book a class and need to cancel for any reason - even days before the class - they will not credit you that class. All sales since February 20th are final and considered a donation to the studio if you cannot attend.
Kimberly Hart: This is one of my favorite places in Indianapolis to practice yoga. I experienced excellent teachers and a beautiful sense of community. I highly recommend it.
Steve E: With so many great options for yoga in Indianapolis, I would suggest you are far more likely to have a positive experience elsewhere.
kathy zoppi: Thank you for a great class today, Kiana.I truly appreciated your teaching and gentle guidance!!Cityoga is wonderful, clean space, thoughtful teachers, accessible and fun.
Elizabeth Birmingham: Critical:Communication,Professionalism
kathy myers: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityJoined a class while in town visiting, staff was very kind in scheduling, Erica was patient and encouraging to my beginner practice
Laura Riggan Feltner: Normally, I would give this place a better rating and used to consider it my favorite studio. However, the communication is not good. I paid for a workshop that included a book. I was unable to attend, as Covid came to my home. I contacted the studio on three separate attempts with leaving voice messages and sending email to ask if I could enroll in another workshop, or at the least, receive the book I paid for. I have yet to receive a response from any of my attempts, and my $70 is in the wind. While I don't expect a refund, the consideration of a response and any other options or opportunity to pick up my book would have been appreciated for my $70. I am now hesitant to sign up for anything else, as I had to save for the one I already paid for and cannot afford to pay for nothing. I hope this prompts the studio to do better by those of us who were loyal supporters.
Marlaina Killey: Fantastic yoga studio!!!
Diana Ingemanson: This place consistently offers a wide range of yoga. My first restore yoga class last night with Andrea, was just what my mind and body needed. I found space within my body that I didn't know had tightened up. Breathing into spaces
A Hodges: So glad to be back!
Shaun Blair: CitYoga has the BEST vibes, the best classes, community, instructors, schedule and variety I've found anywhere in Indy! Both locations are in convenient yet low traffic areas and they have classes to suit all tastes. There are several classes each day that fit my schedule so I can choose based on how I'm feeling. Some days I go to a hot class and sweat it out and other days I choose more slow, restorative options. Sometimes I'll do a class that's the perfect combination of the two. They also have a great monthly unlimited rate so some days I do both! Regardless of the level of the class, there's always space to breathe deeply, zero judgment and a welcoming feel. The rooms and staff are accommodating and parking is free and abundant. Two of my favorite after work wind-downs are Tara's Restorative Flow on Tuesdays at 5:30 and Randi's Stress Relief on Wednesdays at 6:00. Both are at the 64th & Hoover location which is a beautiful sanctuary ideal for nurturing yourself. The Central Ave location reminds me of my first yoga home in California with its clean, spacious rooms and community feel. I love that the teachers are diverse, their classes offer variety and they encourage me to take care of my individual needs!! Finally, I have found a local studio where I can really bReAThE in my practice and make my flow my own while being supported, guided and inspired. The owner, Dave, teaches classes and teacher trainings and he truly practices what he teaches. I feel very fortunate to have found this studio.
Keri Brantley: EDITED: I'm happy to report that a lovely employee (Erica) of City Yoga called me shortly after I posted this review. She could tell I was frustrated and was not going to let me hang up before making the situation right. (Originally, I was told I would have to make a three month commitment if I were to purchase a New Student Unlimited Month pass). She asked me to let her call the owner, who informed her they had just changed their policy and that I could indeed purchase the pass. Last evening, not only was I able to purchase my pass, I was able to attend a Stress Relief yoga class (my mat, right next to Erica) taught by Lisa Daughtery, which was fantastic! I'm anxious to try out more classes at this studio!_________________I would love to tell you about my experience here… However, I’ve been calling for the last three days and have left two voicemail messages and no one has called me back. I have a gift certificate to redeem that I received for my 50th birthday. Sadly, they must be busy enough they don’t need my patronage.
Amy Courtney: I think this is the best studio in the city!! They clearly care deeply about the practice of yoga (many class types, classes/workshops, also meditation). They have fantastic teachers and class offerings. I especially recommend the Friday night hot yoga class! Lisa D is fabulous!!
Laurie Sutter: I’ve taken the Sunday morning Kundalini Yoga classes and highly recommend it to those who are beginners or experienced. Such a welcoming and peaceful atmosphere to raise your vibration! 💗
Amy Ward: My beloved CITYOGA! I have been learning and growing in my practice here for over two years. Throughout my time here, I have tried several other local yoga studios and I keep coming back. There is just something here- great community, sound teaching and technique, convenient class times and good seasonal deals on class passes. My favorite instructors are Adrienne and Lisa D, but there are so many great teachers with diverse class offerings. I've read some reviews about their experience not being beginner friendly or what they hoped for. I'd encourage any new yogi to call and ask for good classes to try. And definitely let your instructor know your newish. I have always found them to be accommodating. If you try a class that you don't like, pick another one. They have the best new member rate around so you can try them all!
Roger Moore: This afternoon, I had the great fortune of taking a three (3) hour yoga, meditation, and wellness workshop at City Yoga. It workshop was led by Dave, who also happens to be the studio's owner. It was my first time at the studio as well as learning techniques for mediation. It was amazing! Dave was very knowledgable and personable. He made the three hours go by so fast. I enjoyed the guided practice, the positive energy of participants, and the studio space. I feel great and definitely plan to return. If you are looking for a great experience, make sure you check out City Yoga!
Audra McClelland: Spacious studio with multiple class rooms and a nice lobby. The Sunday morning kundalini class is my favorite!
Christine Hudson: Cityoga is my favorite place in Indy to practice! The classes and teachers are diverse enough to encompass different styles of yoga, different tastes and preferences and varying fitness levels. If I'm in the mood for a traditional, quiet, contemplative practice, I can do that. If I'm in the mood for a loud, intense and sweaty workout, I can do that too! The monthly and holiday themed pricing specials are great and the $10 community classes on Sundays make it accessible to everyone!
Matt Gindhart: Great place to do yoga
Janet Nabring-Stager: Visited this studio while in Indy for work and was very pleased with the class I attended. I think the instructor was the studio owner.Very welcoming vibe, clean facility, and very nice students in the class to boot! Highly recommend.
Emma Hudelson: I've been coming to Cityoga 5-6 days a week for about eight months now, and it has been deeply rewarding on a spiritual and physical level. I wound up settling on Ashtanga for my daily practice, but they offer a wide variety of classes, including hot yoga and Kundalini, and they bring in internationally-recognized names for workshops and events. It is refreshing that there is a local studio that offers traditional classes taught the same way they would be in India. They offer competitive package pricing, a welcoming environment, and a vibrant community of friendly yogis. As a bonus, I have gotten nonstop compliments on my "Michelle Obama arms" since I started classes there...so much for yoga erasing the ego!

Inner Peace Yoga Center: what do users think?
David Douglas: Take their meditation workshop, you'll remember it forever. I took it about 2 years ago and it was the most comprehensive, scientific, and common sense approach to meditation I have ever seen. I thought meditation and yoga were kind of just hippie stuff and exercise, but no, what they teach is next level. They teach an artform, with no dilly dallying. I also did tapping for weight loss sessions and hypnosis with Carol and Charles. I lost weight, but more than that I stopped thinking about food and losing weight. I used to go get fast food 3 or 4 times a week, a pizza a week, for years. Now I don't think about them, which is a lot better and different from wanting but not having. Just doesn't come into my mind, so tapping works. For hypnosis, Charles worked with me and really helped energize my system. Made me more productive and helped me tap into what was already there, just dormant. This place is great, go there.
Don Blossom: There are not many nooks and crannies in America that are trained in and offer authentic yoga from the original recipe. Peace Yoga Center does just that. The instructors and owners offer the truth and spirit of yoga. I've been all over the country in the military and through personal endeavors rarely finding what these individuals share. Blessings and massive gratitude.
Julian Keefe: Very knowledge and kind teachers. Great
Les Pollert: Wonderful, knowledgeable instructors
Willie Sharpe: The Crenshaws are rude and I will never go to the studio again. Being fake polite is great if you are a fake person. I want genuine yoga and genuine people.
Jan Kelsey: Amazing instructors, authentic teachings and extra classes that you won't find anywhere else. IYPC may be the best yoga center in Indianapolis.

The teachers and studio staff are very welcoming, helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly ..and all offer different little intricacies to learn from! The kOMpose community that grows in this environment is amazing! One of my favorite places!
Grace Hagen: kOMpose is the most friendly, welcoming, empowering, and inspiring active space I have been to. As someone who can't stand the competitive environment of a gym, kOMpose keeps me active and healthy without the stress, pressure, and comparison of the traditional gym environment. In addition, beginning a yoga practice, as opposed to other traditional workout practices, I have not only gained strength, flexibility, and endurance, but also peace of mind. I cannot say enough good things about the range of classes at kOMpose, the friendliness of all staff, and the general vibe of the space. I am so grateful to have found kOMpose. kOMpose has something for everyone.
Kristin Elliot: Phenomenal yoga studio. I just moved to the area and tried a couple before and they didn’t cut it. But KOMpose is amazing! I love all the instructors and front desk staff is incredibly friendly. Prices are good too!

Tina Sherlock: I wrote the review below, about one year ago and I'd like to update it now. I am so incredibly grateful for Kompose Yoga. The studio and class opportunities have expanded. There are even more opportuinties to find your flow and your time on your mat. Kompose is such a safe and welcoming space for yoga. The teachers are warm and technically so well trained and articulate. They make an effort to know you and find out what you're seeking in your practice. The studio is modern, chic, clean, and comfortable. (Parking in the lovely Broad Ripple Village is easy at Kompose.) The classes are so well constructed; and are cued for all levels of yogi. The studio is warm and/or heated. The yogis are all so friendly and supportive of one another. This yoga community is exactly what yoga is: for EVERYBODY. This is a yoga studio that you can (and will) call home. One year ago: (This is a lovely, serene studio with a warm and inviting owner. There are various types of flows with opportunities to enjoy your own practice. I love the hands on approach and encouragement of breath. It is nice to do a gentler form of yoga with moderate studio temperature; but you can always deepen the practice with your own interpretation. I am thrilled that Indy has this gem of a studio in the heart of broad ripple.)
Sandy Giron: Instructors are wonderful & skilled. I love my membership and grateful for this yoga community !
Liana Giles: Bought a Groupon and have really enjoyed the ease of using app to schedule a class, as well as the serenity and friendliness of instructors and front desk folks. I can see being here beyond my Groupon! - liana g
Jaymee Reynolds: I recently purchased a 6-week unlimited classes Groupon and have fallen in love with this studio! I have been so impressed with all of the instructors, who are all so welcoming and patient. kOMpose has a variety of classes (heated and non-heated) to accommodate everyone! I strongly recommend this studio!
Nhien Le: I went to my first class yesterday at Kompose and I was so impressed with the staff, the quality of the class, and the cozy ambience of the studio. The instructor introduced herself and made an effort to make me feel comfortable on my first day, which I really appreciated. They offer both heated and non heated class options, so you def have choices based on your preferences. I highly recommend this studio for your yoga needs!
Zack Waisanen: All of the teachers are amazing and I always leave feeling rejuvenated both physically and mentally.
Danka Maric: The space is very clean and comfortable and all of the staff I have interacted with is very nice. They offer a variety of classes and are very knowledgeable and great at teaching!
Jenna Rutherford: The best decision I made was to become a member at this yoga studio. A great variety of classes with amazing teachers and a fun, friendly community. Come kOMpose with us!
Liz Joss: Great and welcoming instructors, two beautiful rooms to practice in, no embarrassment no matter your level, lots of happiness, a real community.
Lisa Rae Hodge: I love everything about this studio.
Hillary Maxwell: I have been going to Kompose regularly since summer of 2018 and cannot say enough good things about this place. I was warmly welcomed by the owner, Kristine, upon my first day at the studio and could immediately tell this wasn’t a place where I was going to be judged. The philosophy at Kompose is all about empowering and respecting yourself, which you can see in how the instructors teach their classes, and I love that. They have a wide variety of classes to choose from, and the studio is very well-kept and clean. I’ve developed a community at Kompose in the last six months I’ve been going there, and it’s helped me come out of my shell. I have recommended Kompose to anyone with even a remote interest in yoga and will definitely continue to!
Jen Thomas: I can't say enough positive things about this place. The instructors are great and the atmosphere is cozy and inviting. It has a real neighborly feel and I always leave feeling refreshed and so glad I went. Their app is great for looking at class times and checking in to assure a spot.
Jill Chickedantz: Love this place. The atmosphere is lovely and so welcoming, and the instructors are awesome. I highly recommend to literally anyone who is interested in yoga because they really work with all levels.

Haven Yoga Studio: what do users think?
Leslie House: Charlie and all the instructors are personable and REAL! I started going because it is a Black Woman owned studio, near me, and where folks looked like me. After a couple of visits, I took my mom to the intro class on Sundays, taught by Charlie. Mom has always been a fitness enthusiasts, and has been looking for something that she enjoyed as much as Jazzercise back in its heyday. From that first class she was hooked on yoga, and head-over-heels for Charlie! And Charlie was so sweet to, and suppotive of her. More importantly, Mom had found her groove again. Myself, I had an immediate connection with Jadine and went Wednesday nights for Soul Flow. Then the pandemc hit.Classes moved online, and were just as great as in person! And it was more convenient too!Unfortunately, I haven't attended classes in awhile, trying to adjusting to this "new normal. And Mom is waiting until it's safe to go back in person. But I'm hoping to get her onboard with the online classes, and get myself back on track to.All that to say, this studio and everyone involved with it is awsome! Do yourself a favor and get a membership! You won't regret it.
A Underwood: What a wonderful place. This was my first time visiting Haven and attempting Yoga. Charlie was absolutely wonderful from beginning to end. I was greeted for my Wednesday soul yoga session with a warm smile from Charlie (instructor / owner / magician / controller of energies ) lovely music and a peaceful sandalwood scent that took away all anxiety of trying yoga for the first time. I cannot wait to visit again and strengthen my mind and abilities to practice yoga. Oh but did I mention how great the music was... and smell and everything ... everything.Haven is a very inclusive space for those who may be uncertain of their welcome at most places. They also have a variety of events that are interesting and relevant for creating balance and control in ones life. Haven just may become my heaven of Indy.
Stephanie Adams: Haven is so close to my house that I walk! I love the classes I’ve taken, each one meeting me where I am. I am so blessed by this community and instructors. This is a treasure.
Charla Yearwood: Inviting environment and great addition to the neighborhood.

Invoke Wellness Center: what do users think?
Asya Kislyuk: Have been trying out different yoga studios since moving back home and Invoke just blew me away! Amazing warmth from the moment you walk in, and I appreciated the individualized attention from my yoga instructor. The class size was just right as well. Super energizing, challenging and left me feeling great. Can’t wait to come back!
Sabrina Dawkins: I have enjoyed every instructor I have had the privilege of practicing with. The level 2 classes are always a fun challenge. Everyone within the studio is very friendly as well.
Emma Bleakman: The instructors are phenomenal! I have never had such talented, motivating, challenging, and inspiring instructors. They make each class unique and special. The people that attend Invoke are all so kind and it is such a welcoming place from the moment you walk in the front door. I have been nothing but impressed with this studio.
Jennifer Gates: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityI love Brooke's classes. She is so intuitive with her practice and support. I also appreciate the environment overall.
Cate Alexis: Corinna’s barre n mat classes r the best!
Natalie Burnette Webb: I love the warm environment, helpful staff, talented teachers, and variety of classes. There really is something for everyone! You can go as intense or relaxed as fits your fitness level and goals.
Lisa Rayhons: Extremely welcoming, warm yoga community
jane doe: Racist
Jennifer Heiskell: I've been to a couple of yoga classes at the downtown studio. The studio is so gorgeous and the instructors are incredible. The new student deal is also great if you want to check it out. $40 gets you unlimited classes for two weeks. What I do regularly however are the deep tissue massages. I am an up and coming track athlete so I need go to every other week. I use Emily and she is fantastic.
Jeffrey Wilson: A very nice studio - the staff member on duty was very friendly and helpful on my first visit to Invoke Wellness Center - and the instructor for the class - Bree - was very good...The mats and props available were new and very clean - always a plus, and I loved the natural wood floor surface. The only drawbacks I noticed were:- Nothing in the way of locker facilities - just one unisex bathroom if you need to change clothes, and the room itself was pretty dark - not much natural light coming in - even on a sunny day.Recommended however, I had a good yoga practice at Invoke.
Skye Tutino: I love this studio so much! Classes and instructors are fantastic. Great variety of classes and times. I've learned so much from practicing with Invoke. The downtown location is also amazing.
Amy Ward: One of my favorite studios! Their hot yoga classes are just the right temperature (not too hot) and all the teachers are amazing. The savasanas at the end of the class are best and leave you feeling so peaceful and chill.

Breathing Space Yoga + Meditation: what do users think?
Theresa Coughlin: I'd been wanting to start yoga for years and Breathing Space happened to be the first studio I tried. I felt instantly welcome when I walked through the doors and was greeted with a hug and a tour. It's beautiful inside, always clean and perfectly peaceful. There is a wide range of classes for all levels and teachers are always supportive and aware of each students needs. I love that they support the community by offering sustainable products in their boutique from local small businesses. I've recently moved and am missing this place terribly.
Autumn Blair: 2019 was definitely the year I found yoga and have gotten so much stronger, mindful and aware. As a result, I'm so much heathier! (Plus, I've lost 30+ pounds). It's made such a positive impact in my life. Breathing Space is an amazing studio full of people with beautiful energy and encouragement.
Christie Barnhorst: Breathing Space is just that. A calm, steady, breathing space. The studio is beautifully and peacefully decorated. Teachers and fellow students are both welcoming and interesting to be around . I learn something new every time I walk through the doors. A consistent yoga practice has positively affected every aspect of my life. There are levels and classes here for everyone.
Vickie Yaser: I took my husband here for his birthday, a private session with Kelsey for both of us. Kelsey was wonderful. Very attentive, knowledgeable, helpful. Perfect balance of talk, adjustments and quietude. So tonight 10/5/2019, experienced my first 'sound bath' It was so cool. Louder than I expected at first, but beautiful and so relaxing. A little chanting and mantra-ing at the end. I cannot remember when I last felt this 'at peace'. Highly recommend it. First Saturday of the month.
Marilyn Philips: I truly enjoy the practice of yoga...and I love this studio. It is an inviting, inclusive space with wonderful teachers. In 4 months I am noticeably stronger and more stable in terms of physical balance. Highly recommend both yoga and Breathing Space.
Maggie Waples: Newly expanded space. Great energy. Teachers and owner are so friendly. They’ll make you feel right at home. Classes for all levels.
Josephine Corsaro: Ive been coming here for a few months now and have to say, I've never been to a place more inviting. Every teacher brings their own uniqueness and it feels as if, no matter where I'm at in my head, I leave every class feeling completely blissed out.
Ashley Wagner: I've been going here for about a year and I love it. The space is neat and uncluttered. The teachers all have their own style. I was worried about not being able to keep up but they offer poses and modifications for every level. Love!
Dennis Heritier: Breathing Space Yoga +Meditation is a learning center for coping with and releasing stress and tension in our lives. It also challenges students physically or spiritually; of which you choose. I praise BSY+M for their community commitment, their donation base tuition, and the "Namaste" joyfulness that begins and ends each class. :)
Anne Brock: Kelsey and her team of teachers are welcoming, encouraging and give you space to explore your own yoga practice. The space itself is calming and inviting, but beyond that the spirit of the place is full of love and kindness. I appreciate that Kelsey always finds new ways of introducing us to new poses, breath work and music. Check it out - you won't be disappointed!
Lena Morris: It's a beautiful space to do Yoga. Also one of the rare places in this town that has donation based Yoga. Instructor was also super nice and helpful. I went on a weekday at noon, and we only had 4 students total, and received a lot of feedback and attention from the instructor. Would definitely come back again.
Kathleen Slauzis-Durham: Everyone at Breathing Space is warm and welcoming. They are gentle with new students and really work with all their students to encourage and grow their practice.
Laura Angstmann: I walked into this space and immediately felt at ease. The instructors are welcoming, kind and down-to-earth and there is a class for any skill level. So grateful for the Breathing Space community!
Dave Bartz: Breathing Space is a very nice and calm studio. It is in a great location at 62nd Street and Binford Blvd.I have been there the staff/teachers have been very accommodating to my needs even when the class was huge.
Camilla Bonnicel: This is such a wonderful space! From the moment I first met the owner Kelsey and joined her for a class I felt at home, comfortable! You don't have to look a certain way, or be able to reach your toes. This is truly a place where you can come as you are and still enjoy all the amazing effects of yoga!
Glenda White: Just took my first class at Breathing Space and my first yoga class since having my little one... In love! Kelsey does an AMAZING job of instructing through each sequence, bringing intention to our class and allowed extra time for a modified crow. Today I successfully found crow pose (even if from a block) thanks to Kelsey's patience and demonstration. What a beautiful, peaceful way to start my Sunday and effectively begin my week! Gorgeous space, wonderful instructor and a convenient location! ❤️

The Hot Room® Indianapolis - DOWNTOWN: what do users think?
Jonathan Garcia: Recently took advantage of their 2 week promotion.Great instructions from staff. I've learned allot
Yamill Marte Valdez: What a great place to start your yoga journey! 1st time in my live doing yoga and I love it! The instructors are phenomenal! such talented, motivating, and inspiring people that treat you and make you feel like family. They make each class unique and special. I’m thankful for been part of this community 😊
Leo Milletary: I went to the hotroom on sunday. Jen led a great class. This is difficult but they let you work at your own pace. I recommend it to anyone.
Angela Smail: I love The Hot Room I’m Downtown INDY! I’ve practiced yoga in various places and ways for decades, but The Hot Room offers new and different challenges with the heat alone (and the variety of classes and coaches). The facility itself is well-kept, staff friendly, and the location is convenient.
Christine Robinson: It's one of my favorite places to be. I love how I feel when I finish a class. All of the instructors are motivational and helpful.
Chelsea Phillips: If you're looking for a place to step away from the chaos of life to satisfy your mind and body — look no further. This studio is aptly named (so perfectly hot!) and brings together a brilliant community of teachers and practitioners alike. They have so many events and partnerships throughout the Indianapolis community as well.I haven't been able to find a more flexible schedule or more reasonable unlimited prices anywhere else in town! There are so many locations that make it easy to frequent the studio, but the DT location has been my home since the beginning. 3
Megan Elliott: I’ve been a member of the hot room downtown location for over 2 years now! The hot yoga practice trumps all other yoga for me. The staff and instructors are always welcoming and encouraging. I do wish they had parking for students and that the price point was more accessible for all communities. Happy March Matness 😜
Katie Butler: I’ve been coming to this location for about 6 months and I absolutely love it. The classes are challenging but the environment is not intimidating. I’ve improved a lot in 6 months and love getting sweaty.
Andrea Vinson: Great workout with amazing teammates and instructor. Aaron talking me through my tough spots. I cannot wait to come back tomorrow for more. Keep it up everyone
A Hodges: Nice studio
Jalyn Warren: I came to this studio for my first hot-yoga experience and have absolutely fell in love! Great facility. Phenomenal staff.
MsRasene “MsLovelyChic” Newson: Great for the body.
M. H. Lovens: Yes. Yes. Yes. Visiting from out of town and so grateful to find a home away from home at the Hot Room. Took 2 classes downtown & 2 uptown. Both locations are beautiful and offer great amenities with lovely people. Ilsa Uptown was sooooo kind and went out of her way to make me feel welcome. Kylie had great upbeat energy Uptown and fun playlist. Nasya downtown has such a beautiful and grounding presence. Loved her from the front desk and then really loved her after taking her class!!! It is clear she is doing her inner work to create a safe and empowered space for yogis in Downtown Indy. Nasya’s confident and gentle command of the room and creative sequence has my body and mind feeling strong and balanced. Sooooo grateful I was able to make her class this morning- the perfect start to a long day of travel. I look forward to visiting The Hot Room again next time I’m in town.
Natalie Weiss: This is not a true yoga studio. It is heavily focused on “working out” rather than a combination of working out and meditation. They don’t play music during the class. The class instructor talks the entire time on a microphone.Check out the yoga studio in broad ripple or invoke downtown for a better experience!
Liv Brubaker: The Hot Room is such a wonderful place to practice yoga! They offer several modalities so it's easy to switch up your routine. The studios are clean and welcoming. If you're considering starting a journey with yoga check out THR, the instructors are knowledgeable and can help you modify anything, as they say, yoga is for every - body!
Moliann Gross: The hot room is a place that allows you to show up as your authentic self and to stand in your power. Going here has helped my confidence, strength and flexibility. Try out a class to see what the hot room can do for you.
Rachel Scott: Inclusive, welcoming for people at any level, of any size. Super positive. They make it all about you as the student.
Angela Montgomery: I absolutely LOVE everything about The Hot Room! The staff, all the classes, the never ending supply of clothes to shop through… it’s a very uplifting and empowering place to practice and I’m so happy I made my way back.#markingoffabingospace #thehotroomdowntown
Em Joy: The Hott Room is everything I would ask for if I got to make a perfect workout & facility. The teachers start on time & are straight to business. They don't talk about their weekend or whatever. I learn new moves, they don't go fast so you understand & really feel the move. I've been doing pilates & HIIT so far & I'm hooked.
Sarah Harbert: The BEST community, coaches, & environment. Will soon become your home away from home - and by that i mean your phone might just recognize it as "home" because of how often you are at the studio. The entire team is great but my favorite classes are with Leia. She is a wonderful manager and keeps things on track as well as helping curate the entire experience. About to hit 75 classes in 6 months and never looking back!
Leila Naderi: Amazing studio & team of teachers that truly listens and cares for their students! The range of classes offered here targets a huge variety of skill; perfect for all levels of experience, including beginners and experts. During my time practicing with THR, I have especially loved the unique challenges offered to students that have pushed me far out of my comfort zone: completing outdoor classes, 6AM classes, and new-to-me classes. The teachers are smart & fun, bringing fresh music and thoughtful lessons to the studio each day. I highly recommend The Hot Room to both residents and visitors in Indy searching for health, fitness & community. Thank you so much, THR!

Santosha School: what do users think?
Adriane Suder: I met with Pierre for an Ayurvedic consult and had a wonderful experience! I felt very seen and welcome. He was a great listener and provided a wealth of information that felt very specific to me. After our consult he also provided a summary of our meeting with his suggestions and other resources. He's been very easy to communicate with and responsive. I will definitely continue meeting with him!
Narasimha Reddy: Great place
Leanne Abramo: It's been a great experience. I love that it's not just about the physical exercise. Each class incorporates mindfulness and meditation. The teachers really help guide a novice student. It's been very welcoming! It's also easy to schedule online.
T: I have never felt so welcomed at a yoga studio before! The moment I walked in the door I felt at home.I have been an inconsistent yogi for over twenty years, taking classes here and there. I'm not flexible and forty-five years old. I've always felt a little out of place at yoga studios. I have never felt that way at Santosha! The teachers are kind, patient and non-judgemental. They offer so many classes and lots of other services/products as well. This place is the real deal, such good energy! Try it, you won't regret it!
Max Williams: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityShiela is a great massage therapist. She is very capable in analyzing imbalances and doing what it takes to correct them. She is a great asset to me as I continue to be a runner late in life.
Shona Craig: I am a physical therapist and yoga teacher. I did some yoga and Ayurveda training with Pierre in Richland, WA. He and Santosha School offers some of the best and most authentic trainings around - life changing, really. I am forever grateful.
Linda M Marler: When I recently broke my radius , I practiced the relaxation techniques (esp. "alternate nostril breathing") that I learned in yoga, both in the ER and after surgery. I was able to manage the pain without drugs! My thanks to Santosha and my wonderful instructors, Sheila and Jo! And, I'm so glad to be back!
Tracey Burton: Great 1st experience!! Had a private session with Kathy and she was amazing! Would definitely recommend!!
T Ruth: The best yoga studio in Indy!! The teachers are all very welcoming, encouraging and knowledgeable. Everybody from beginner to advanced yogi will love this place!
Kit Palanca-Beveridge: I’m so happy I decided to have our surprise office Christmas party activity here. I brought a staff of 12 people and ALL enjoyed the YOGA AND THAI-YOGA MASSAGE experience tremendously. I especially enjoyed the personalized attention and care that Kathy Busso did from the very first time I spoke to her. She was very attentive and helpful and kept in touch with me so well throughout the process. The activity space was just perfect- both spacious and serene/inviting. Kathy and her girls provided the best Thai-Yoga massages. Kathy is just a wonderful person and I intend to continue seeing her for regular yoga and massage and I can’t wait to share my experience with my entire family. Thank you so much!
Valerie Yeager: I've been having bodywork at Santosha with Shelia and I'm so thankful that a friend connected me with her! She's really gifted and her knowledge and holistic approach to the body is exactly what I was hoping to find after moving to Indianapolis. Indy is lucky to have someone like Shelia and the expertise she provides in Ayruveda at the Santosha School.
Julie Guenther: Santosha is a beautiful shala! From the moment I walked in I felt at home. Everyone I have met is very friendly and welcoming! Truly a beautiful atmosphere! I am so glad to be a part of the wonderful yoga community here!
Bianca Smith-Benedict: What a beautiful facility. Amazing teachers and such friendly caring people. I love taking yoga classes here.
Jay Wehmeier: I am in yoga teacher training and learning more than I planned on. My teachers are TOP NOTCH and concerned and helpful. The studies are wide ranging. Not just the poses, but much much more. You are welcome any Wednesday night for ($5.00) community class, at 6:00 PM. Join our yoga class and watch the teacher trainees as their skills grow. Stay afterwards as the teacher trainees evaluate the teaching experience. Peace and Love Jayw
Dawn B: Sheila is a wonderful massage therapist!
Yvonne Noland: I've been fortunate enough to watch the studio grow over the years and every year the community and teachers keep getting better!
Dan & Melissa Moran: Starting yoga well into my 40's wasn't easy: there were many tangles and kinks to work out, physically and otherwise. Santosha School has been a welcoming place to roll out my mat and work through it all, guided and encouraged by some of the most experienced and caring souls I know. After several years of practice here, I enrolled in the teacher training program and am now growing my practice in another way. I feel so much better - physically, mentally and spiritually. And now my family has joined in the yoga goodness too!
Essence Mack: I have been attending classes at Santosha for nearly a year and can say the classes and community are such a beautiful presence in my life! It is such a warm and safe space to practice.
Brian Kent: I have been going to Santosha regularly for the past 6 weeks and I always leave feeling better than when I arrive. I'd never been to a yoga class in my life before walking in and noted the staff have been incredibly welcoming of practitioners of all abilities. The staff are extremely friendly/welcoming and have the ability to transfer their deep knowledge and understanding of yoga with humility. The school carries such a positive energy and has a feeling of entering an old friends household rather than a workout studio. Whether you're brand new yoga like me or deep into your practice, I'd highly recommend!
Yilin Liu-Leitke: Santosha is not just a yoga studio, it’s also a temple, a community, a peaceful place in the city.
Karma Hamm: Santosha is my favorite yoga studio in all of Indianapolis. There is a deep underlying current of tradition and spirituality and healthiness that is wonderfully balanced with the fun upbeat energy of the classes and teachers there. Everyone is extremely knowledgeable and welcoming. I always feel I am exactly where I need to be when I am there and after class I am always glad I carved out time in my day for taking care of myself through yoga practice. I can't recommend Santosha enough for all levels of yogis. Also- massages with Shiela are other-worldly! :) She has a very intuitive gift and always knows exactly what my body needs to restore and relax.

The Yoga Studio: what do users think?
Jenny Owens-Cripe: I love this place! I used to go to Friday's Hot Vinyasa class regularly & continued virtually during the covid year. But this was the first time back in so long & nothing had changed. Everyone is friendly, welcoming, & wonderful! Emily taught the best class! Her flows were just what I needed & the music was spot-on. Thank you, The Yoga Studio, for being the best!!
Kaitlyn Solano: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityI just recently started going here and I’m obsessed with it. I’ve done hot yoga at other studios but this one is by far my favorite.
Patrick Rubeck: In the hours spent pushing, stretching, resting & growing, yoga has given me the most profound sense of self-worth and enlightenment. At 36 I’m in the best shape of my life & wearing sizes I haven’t worn since HS. Put your ego aside & do the work, it might completely change your life.
Gundi Mueller: Best yoga studio ever!
Extremity Solutions: Positive:QualityThe Yoga Studio was an excellent place for me to get a great yoga class in. Not to mention the staff is second to none! Maggie at the front desk was more than helpful, not to mention super cute!!!
Leslie Taljaard: Love the yoga studio so much! All the teachers and staff are amazing!
Jack S: Certain teachers will “short-class” you (trim time off both ends of the class) #beware
Anna Triscari: Management isn’t great but other than that it’s great
White Willow: Best Trained Teachers In Town!
Jincy Gibson: Love it here! Welcoming teachers and great choice of classes. 👍🏼
Willie Sharpe: GREAT PLACE
David Davidson: Majestically. Epic
Shaundra Belle: I have been to a few yoga studios throughout the city and this is by far the most welcoming for any level. I have done yoga before but am not a pro by any means and the owner, teachers, and community of members are so welcoming and helpful - it really is a great environment! My fiance has never done yoga before and is trying to not just lose weight but just be a healthier person. His first time doing yoga he felt very supported in his mission - we are now unlimited members and go to classes 4-5 times a week together. This is a really great studio for anyone at any level that wants to be in a productive and positive atmosphere!
Julie Nelson: I can't tell you how daunting it was to me the first time I came to The Yoga Studio. I'm not a flexible person that is very good at turning my mind off - just to say the least. I've discovered the many misconceptions that I've had about yoga just by stepping into the front door of The Yoga Studio.Let me tell you - in just two weeks I've really fallen in love. I've bought a yoga mat, I've bought the pants - I even watch videos online to learn more.I have major back pains for years that keep me up late at night and since I've started yoga - I haven't had those pains. It's fantastic. A major relief. The instructors at The Yoga Studio are wonderful. They really care about each and every person in the class and go out of their way to make sure that you do every pose correctly - that you are constantly learning. One instructor even spoke to me about how much progress I was making - which was a major confidence builder. There is an amazing community at The Yoga Studio that I have immensely enjoyed becoming a part of. I'm so glad I stepped out of my comfort zone and gave it a try. I suggest that everyone do the same!
