Hunter Schmith: Feels very ‘shady mechanic’ type vibe. Dr seemed more interested in getting to the next patient than actually evaluating my issue. Wouldn’t go here unless you’re bleeding, on fire or dying and have no other options.

Adam: older woman who's office is directly to the right as you come in was incredibly rude. I came in with stomach pain and had to use the bathroom and she proceeded to be rude/have a tone when I tried to go, and apparently it was the employees only restroom. The other bathroom had a do not use sign so I walked around the corner to the other one. Thanks a lot..you should be nice/helpful to people that are not feeling well. Unreal. Won't come back here.

Brittney Hedge: If I could give a half a star I would. This medcheck can never get their staff together. The nurse confused not only my vitals but my son's and daughter's as well. She kept asking as to why we were here a million times as if I didn't repeat myself enough. I loved the doctor (Jessica I think is is her name) but the rest of the staff yelling at me on the phone for my results when the doctor told me they would be in today is absurd! This is why we don't normally go to St Francis network, they don't treat their patients right. After and hopefully we get the results we will continue our care at Hendricks regional. I can't even get the nurses to give me an activation code for my chart for my kids. We won't be back!!

I also was on the phone for an hour waiting on a virtual visit that never happened. I will not be back, the staff is rude and could care less about you.! My husband says this place is a joke! Michelle H.: I had to go in a few weeks ago for x-rays and stitches. Dr. Parks and staff were very nice, professional and explained what was going on and what they planned on doing. I went back last week and got my stitches out, and had a good experience also. Will continue going back, so long as it is an issue that can be handled by urgent care and not the ER or my primary care doctor.

W R: The staff and doctors took good care of my dad. They were available when we called or needed answers. Prompt and very helpful. Dana always checked on us and called to keep us in the loop about care.
Dan Lawson: They have been very polite and aim to please you. TV channels have a tendency to freeze up, which is important if you are well enough to watch. Most of the time they have a faster response to your call light than the other 2 hospitals my wife was in. They are eager to answer any questions and if they don't know the answer ,they will work to get them. Kindred is close to the major highways for those who have to travel any great distance, plus there is plenty of places to eat nearby. I wish they had a facility like this in Fort Wayne. Dan

Lashonta Hoskins: This hospital is one of the best hospitals in Indy. When came there I couldn’t use my arms. I had to have nurse to assist me. Within a few days of therapy I able to use them. The nursing staff was incredible and very encouraging. They made sure all my needs were met! When I left I. didn’t look like what I been through.
melissa castillo: Miss Dana, the patient advocate assigned to me, went above and beyond during every interaction we had with one another. She actively listened to everything I had to say. She was empathetic and compassionate about my needs. She escalated my complaints and followed policy and protocol to help remedy the grievances I had encountered during my stay at Kindred Hospital North. During one incident, in particular, when everything that could go wrong did, she stayed with me the entire time and didn’t leave until the issues were resolved. I was extremely grateful to have Dana as an advocate. She was respectful, professional, and always treated me with dignity, humility, and like a person and not just a room number or a call light. Although my stay at Kindred Hospital was not the best experience; by far, Dana was part of the positive experiences I did have at Kindred.

We would like thank Linda the Director for taking all of our concerns seriously and making sure things got done. Kaycee for always checking on him even when she wasn't assigned to him. She always made sure that he was okay. Dana, was wonderful to him. She always tried to make him laugh. Charmane, she was so patient with him. And took amazing care with him. The physical therapy ladies. They took their time to get to know him and really made him feel better. The wound care team Heather and Michelle. They were so funny and compassionate. Jeff for showing kindness. Also, the housekeeper Tiara. She always made sure his room was clean and looking nice. There were others too who did an amazing job with my husband and I appreciate all of them. Thank you for showing your compassion and kindness to my husband! We turned it around!
Amy Messang: A completely traumatizing experience for both me and my loved one. Witnessed way too much suffering and even a "caged" patient. The PA was way too quick to want to pull the plug on my loved one instead of offering any kind of hope or counseling.Luckily she has since recovered at home. The woman at the telemetry desk could not have been more unpleasant or rude. I was lied to on several occasions about getting to talk to the person in charge of the place. She finally showed up about a week after being there but could not have cared any less about my concerns. Also, the place is completely antiquated. Still hand writing administered drugs instead of a computer system. Great opportunity for overdose. Just thankful to be back home. A special thank you to the few who did go out of their way for us...Brandy, Autumn, Christina and I will say Dana made an effort but nothing was ever accomplished.

Jonni Gonso: My partner got an infection and subsequent complications post an orthopedic surgery. The recovery process has been a long journey. Kindred Hospital North was his 5th hospital. This is the cleanest hospital yet, including his room, bathrooms, hallways, etc. All staff—doctors, PA, nurses, techs, PTs, and maintenance—went above and beyond to make his stay positive. Everyone was friendly and willing to be helpful whether they were his assigned nurse or tech. Everyone involved listened and responded to my questions and concerns. I would definitely recommend this hospital!

Amy Harvey: Limited staff negatively affects the lack of care for patients. My Dad recently in the ER and labeled as a high risk fall patient who would require assistance to use the bathroom. After repeated attempts to find medical staff ,since noresponse to the call button , my dad soiled himself. The nurse said it's no problem she's used to cleaning up however if they had proper staff this would have never happened. After being moved to a regular room, it was disgusting. The floor underneath the bed has dust dirt and debris from previous patients. The bedside commode is rusty and prime location to breed bacteria.With the shortage of nurses they did not respond timely to the call button specifically labeled toilet. When somebody finally asked what was wrong we stated he needs to use the toilet. We ended up gloving up and helping my dad use a p jug in the meantime. Since then he has three other accidents due to lack of help no response. At one point my dad lie naked because they had no blankets or extra sheets to cover him. His pain chart says zero pain yet the doctor that showed up decided he needed some morphine., Yet never asked what his pain level was?Also due to the nurses and staff being rushed from room to room they are forgetful of putting up the guardrail to protect my dad from falling out, bringing blankets or attending needs.. I applaud those nurses who do show up and are trying their best but somebody needs to step up and get them some help. Your patients are suffering and it is unfair to them as well as their families and the people that actually do show up to work.

The receptionist came over and started ripping me a new one and telling me she was going to call security if I didn’t pull it up. The whole time she’s going off at me her mask is down below her nose. I thought this was supposed to be some sort of religious base hospital. Maybe you should replace her because I don’t think she reflects the intended spirit

Jennifer46142: Worst ER experience ever! I was stuck in the back of this small curtained room in a dark little corner, in an uncomfortable recliner, and forgotten about. I was so happy they took me back quickly only to be forgotten. I had to go to the nurse’s station twice. Once after waiting an hour for the dr to come back after telling me they’d go review the CT a second time after they didn’t address my problem the first time. And a second time to ask if they could check me out bc they had my paperwork for 2 or more hours. They had it the first time I had gone up to ask if the dr was coming back. Then I waited another hour to be checked out after not even solving my pain in the side issue. The dr never came back after supposedly going to review the CT and a nurse just gave me some generalized answer that there are a high amount of undiagnosed stomach pain issues that come through the ER. Really? I’m guessing they didn’t even review the CT, but at that point I just wanted to get out of there after being there in pain for 7 hours. I never saw the same person twice. It was awful. Now I am going to have to wait for the Gastro appt after paying an exorbitant amount for the worst ER visit ever.
Jami Hernandez: This experience was awful, the staff was rude and disrespectful. I understand COVID restrictions but the way the old grey haired security guard approached my friends was uncalled for. The old short, grey haired lady at the desk across from the gift shop by the women and child center needs manners. We came to visit a sick friend at a time where he needed comfort and they showed no compassion. Highly disappointed.

Red Bud: I was a patient there recently for 4 days 3 nights. I received absolutely wonderful care, especially from the floor nurses. I could not have asked for better treatment than I received.
Nai Monaih: ER is great, but DO NOT GO THERE FOR Maternity Care went to get blood work &’ they were acting like they never did it before poked me over 10 times while th need was still in my vein their excuse was ‘I can’t find a vein’ while a needle was in my vein. I have a big lump in my arm of blood that has not went down like they said it was when they seen it was clotting up they panicked &’ tired to cover it up but couldn’t . ALMOST PASSED OUT .. if you love your life ONLY go there for the ER

Linda Greeno: 2/2/23 Susan the front desk is very rude! At first she said there is no patient that I was going to visit that I had to call the patient and she confirmed I was in a right place. Susan realized her mistake and wrote me a note, "You are Not allowed allowed visitors! Nurse said NO. Can I help you anymore!" She don't even apologized or the reason why she wasn't allowed the visitor. I wrote her back, "this patient is upsetting and need clarify why she was in the hospital and I'm her case manager. I don't know why you are angry. Be kind, thanks." Susan demanded to take my phone away from me which I wasn't feeling comfortable for anyone to touch my phone to let the patient know, no visitor! Susan replied back, "You have to leave!" And talk to the security guy about me that I have no idea what they were saying. I was busy using the wifi to calm the patient down but I felt uncomfortable and left. I was shocked and appalled of her behavior. I don't know if she had a bad day and I felt I was being attacked for no reason.

K “HckdByUnicorn”: I have been a patient once in 2012 for 6 weeks again in 2014 and currently staying here. From the moment of arrival the staff have been absolutely amazing. They laugh with you, cry with you, and the support offered to family members is unmatched. Even tho a visit can be scary I know my heart couldn't be in better hands!!
B Wilson: There is a man that drives around a golf cart in the hospital and he will give you a ride if you need one and then he will come back and get you and take you as close to the parking garage as he can! They really ought to do this in all hospitals.
Scott Fisher: I have had a sister and a nephew both there for many days having serious issues - both still there.There are exceptions to this rule but overall nursing care provided has been horrible. No continuity of care. If you ask for something you either wait an extended period of time, take care of it with visiting family or they no show. There are too many details to post in a review. Now the entire hospital is out of wicking devices so patients have to lay in their urine until someone can get them cleaned up. I gave a one star rating just to make sure you know this is not a joke.

Traci Koehler: I would give zero stars if I could.It was horrible.I told a dozen people that I had an allergy that is frequently used in medications. The only person who heard me and paid the slightest attention was my GI's nurse. I ended up having an asthma attack just after the procedure.When I was diagnosed with Colon Cancer, they had an MA call to see if I had been told my pathology results. She was surprised to find out that no one had called to tell me I had Cancer. This was after telling me how surprised the doctor was that the results came back with Cancer cells found.When the surgeon met with me, I left the appointment with more knowledge about his girlfriend (who is on his staff), their relationship, and their child than I did about the scheduling of my procedure. I am sure he's a wonderful, brilliant person. It would be nice if his relationship was NOT part of patient interactions.

William Myers: I was there starting April 13, 2023. Went to the E.R with O2 at 65. The woman that checked us in acted with no concern. She did get a bed for me right away. Don't expect to get treated by Doctors there. All Nurses or medical techs. Doctors are reading the computers. I had five doctors in three days. All new to me. Same questions everyday. And when asked a question they seem not to believe my answer. They treated me more as a disabled old man. Would not even give me the bed controls. To say the least, I have a plan for the next time I go and they are not going to like it. BTW they are using medical tech for things that nurses should be doing to you. was a little upset. To top it all off, when I was released, the next morning I had six phone calls from Community. Wow give me some time to rest up. they would not listen to what I had to say even if I had backup with another department.

DoButt Jones: A year ago in June my husband came home from work not feeling well from inhaling sawdust at work, he was taken to community east emergency where upon entering his name taken, blood pressure through the roof, and vomiting in a bag on his knees on the floor and the most rude, heartless lady who was doing intake that afternoon around 4:30 shrugged her shoulders and acted as if she was irritated by my husband's sickness..unbeknownst to her he was actively having a heart attack! Having to be rushed to Community North (where they were polite) to immediate surgery for 2 heart stents making it able for him to see his birthday within the same month. My advice to community east..get you compassionate people to work who's heart is in it..for even a year later i remember the receptionist foul, unprofessional, rude facial expressions and tone till this day. No one in my family will ever go there again..take your loved one's elsewhere!
Ms Lay: I would give it zero stars if possible. My family member was recently admitted & they lost his wallet, after he was taken to his room. We were told it was given to a family member but it was not given to anyone who was there or who came to the hospital. When my family member was discharged we could not find his clothes that were in his room the previous day. When asked about them we were told he never had these items with him. This hospital did not provide our family with help locating the clothes or an explanation as to what happened to the clothes.
All Satisfying: Currently admitted. Started in the ER, was seen immediately, and the nurses and doctors were absolutely amazing. Have since been moved to inpatient, and yet again, the nurses and doctors are absolutely amazing. Im from Nashville, so I'm used to Vanderbilt care, this hospital has far exceeded every experience I've ever had at Vandy.I cannot thank these wonderful men and women enough for the care they have given me.

Melodie: The staff is very lovely and they took great care of me. I was having anxiety and they were very reassuring every step of the way. Very good explaining what was going on and what they needed to do. And they are continuing to check on me and provide me with blankets and pillows while im being monitored.

I went in at 5:00pm for myself & my 7year old we were in the lobby/waiting room until 8:37pm I barely was able to drive there so with that being said worst experience ever the staffs very unprofessional & careless! If you have an emergency do not go there God will call you before they do & they wouldn’t let me leave a 0 ⭐️ So I’ll leave it here 0⭐️

I only had time to dial 911 and call my daughter but could not talk to either.the last thing i remembered was a fireman coming in my door. I wwoke up hours later at Community East ER. With doctors and nurses around me . i feel they saved my lifeand I cant express how grateful i am for that and care and concern i was shown.THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!
