Private Reserve Luxury Townhomes: what do users think?
Kristy Love: If I could give 0 stars I would I wouldn’t recommend my dog living there office managers are rude liars my move in issues were never addressed maintenance is a joke and they have a officer that lives on the property that has harassed me and my children since we moved here not enough space or time to tell it all. I held back my review because my mom taught me if I can’t say anything nice I shouldn’t say it at all but I don’t think anybody should consider these. The owners should be ashamed and they need to drop the luxury part of the name there’s nothing luxurious about it. Epic fail I was better off homeless.
Ashley Gage: DON'T ANSWER THE PHONE OR RETURN CALLS, USES A THIRD PARTY WHO ISN'T HELPFUL EITHER
Destiny Brackenridge: Gate never works, maintenance is horrible called 3 times today for ac problems and was told someone will be out to fix, but no one ever called or came to check/fix it. Been having toilet problems since moving in, called about that too and still no one ever came out.. and the basement it always flooding. Very ghetto, I don’t not recommend moving to the “Private Reserve luxury townhomes” .
Miss R: Very Very decent location. You gotta keep the office on their toes tho.
Taylor Brown: This was the worst place I ever lived in, I was only there for four months and there was mold in my apartment and it was infested with bed bugs.
twistedmixedchick13: My boyfriend and I have lived here for almost a year and we love it! The people that work in the office are very nice and accommodating. We've only needed maintenance twice and both times they were friendly and efficient. The townhouses feel home-y and the fireplace adds a cozy touch. Highly recommend!
Deborah Garrett-Blackwell: This is my second year living here. Maintenance is on the ball. The rooms are nice size. Love the hardwood floor in my living room and the ceiling fans in the bedrooms. I wish there was one in the living room!
Elena Hayes: Air conditioning out in unit, have a child with asthma, no assistance given at all. When I call for Updates I am told it will be handled but no one calls nor comes. If I could do zero it would be great. Maintainence let's people and even themselves use vacant units in the back where I stay for parties and gatherings and office management either don't know or don't care. Unsafe neighborhood and the owner who is supposed to be involved knows nothing about his management staff nor his maintenance team. Do not move over here.
Jay Baby: Love the leasing staff very helpful and maintenance is always on time with full filling work orders. A great environment and great place to live!
Dennis Phillips: Going on my third lease the turnover in the office/corporate is very unprofessional. My lease dates change three times is this possible. I renewed the second time they didn't see that I had pets, so I continue too pay my same price what I was told. Maybe four months in I got a credit on my account. I don't know why I asked the office they didn't know either WOW. So I used it. Had a inspection the maintenance crew tells I have pets Da sticker on the front door. So they call saying you got pets. I said yes but they didn't add it back on my second lease. That's why I continue too pay my first lease payment like I was told too do by the second team in the office. Now trying too renew my lease the third time with the third team in the office. I got a outstanding balance on my account. So they mess up I got too pay extra money. Is this right I'm confused.
Karen Bloomingbird: am being harassed by my young neighbors because I have called the police after several attempts of me asking them to at least cover the vents because the marijuana is coming in my unit as if I am having a smoke session. Before calling the police as instructed by the leasing office I tried to be a good neighbor. well now they are running up on me as I am coming into my unit. I work from home and I am afraid now because there are several people that live there and you don't know who is who. I have been harassed now since December because the office had attempted an eviction at least that is what I was told back in December but they ended up taking the rent and allowing them to stay they just moved in 3 months ago. They are trying to intimidate me by running up on me like they want to fight I don't know who it is as there are lots of people that live there I am recovering from a recent spine surgery and I am afraid that if I have to defend my self I will be seriously hurt. So I go to the office and give a 30 day notice me and my husband. He is trying to get us out of here because he fears at this point it will be escalated because they were spoken to again by the office. Well we took February rent to try and find somewhere to go and the office tells me they may file an eviction on us. we have been here off and on for 10 years this last lease is 3 years never had an issue and now im being told that we may not even get the termination period removed. Now im told tha the previous leasing manager dropped the ball. I am waiting to see what will happens. I will keep you posted and I am praying that they are not waiting for someone to die and then do something about it. Also about 3.5 months ago a unit was shot up with children inside it. I don't want a repeat and im told that the people that lowered someone to the door still lives out here and the previous leasing people knows it.
Dodi Moncrief: Nice spacious floorplans
Shawn Hall: I've only been here a month but been staying on this side of town since 98 . I always wanted to resign in these apartments and finally stay here I love it not too bad price wise .. I love my place very spacious and quiet ..
Nikki Smith: Family friendly community. I am a returning resident lots of community involvement and activities for kids and families. Very nice and clean
Colin Manring: Super helpful leasing staff and a well maintained property
Quiana Taiwan Hobson-Hicks: I moved from one townhome due to everytime it rains it floods our apartment and the laundry room began to develop mold and I should have stayed because we have had problems from day 1in this one The patio is horrible you cant grill or sit back there! The stairs fell through under my mother it took over a week to get it completely redone with new plywood after we constantly complained. The dishwasher doesnt work it keeps staining our dishes and we've had to throw away several of expensive dishes. The unit in the laundry room keeps overfilling with nasty water and it stinks on the basement. The maintenance have came over several times but still no results. It has gotten to the point where I no longer have asked for maintenance or do I call the manager. Because it's useless. I'm in the process of moving tired of complaining .
Avrielle Johnson: My beautiful 2 bedroom tri-level was nothing but amazing. The staff was very patient during my move in process and always friendly and helpful when I had concerns!!! Love it!
Amanda Warren: I have been in the 3 bedroom townhome with a basement. It is a very nice layout-love the fireplace in the basement.
Tami Wooldridge: Good place to live that is in a nice area and convenient to anywhere you need to go. Great staff!
Keir Foreman: This place is a joke...the townhomes are not as LUXURIOUS as they seem to be in the pictures, there are a lot of underlying issues. Plenty of water damage, especially when it rains. Water, debris, and bugs come in through the patio and the plumbing system is also messed up. The electrical outlets and light fixtures and switches half way work. The baseboards underneath the carpet are broken as well, feels like you might fall through the floor. They never have or can keep a good maintenance team. They make you purchase comcast for cable and internet, which they suck( included in your rent). The breed of dogs that people have are very vicious, (Pit bulls and Rottweilers) etc......which they say are not allowed. But management does not enforce the issue. Drug paraphernalia and trash is everywhere. My car has also been broken into. The (security) gate is always broke. I mean can we get a whole new team that cares about the property and the residents....I mean, need I say more......this place is a joke for the amount of $$$ you pay. If it were up to me they would get NO STARS, but I'm forced to give a star, so be it. I hate being punked....
Adam Metzler: I really enjoy getting to know our neighbors and participating in the community gardens. We have lived here for 2.5 years. The Staff are always reasonable and easy to work with.

StoneBridge Luxury Apartment Homes: what do users think?
Abby Fasnacht: Applicants beware: the management here is extremely dishonest. They will quote you “market rate” for an apartment that is 45% higher than estimates given during a tour two weeks prior, only AFTER charging you the $250 non-refundable application fee. Additionally, the staff is not knowledgeable about their own application process. We had several questions that went unanswered during the tour, as the staff member did not know and didn’t want to consult with anyone else. Further attempts to get these questions answered were met with radio silence and unanswered voicemails. I can’t recommend applying here when there are many comparable, cheaper communities in the immediate area.
madison: Overall I had a good experience living here for two years.I wish existing tenants could have locked in our rent and not have it increased and I wish we didn't have to pay for all the amenities we couldn't use during the pandemic, they also charged me for a pet fee without even talking to me and asking if I had a pet (there was pet food on my below neighbors porch but it was caused by the people above me), parking is sparse at times but there is enough if you don't mind walking a bit.Maintenance was prompt and quick to respond, the amenities were nice when I was able to use them, it is in close proximity to lots of shopping and food, they don't have breed restrictions for pets or weight limits, people are generally quiet and don't disturb each other, it is near schools, the staff is generally friendly, and the apartments themselves are nice and have newer appliances and interiors.
Christian Carter: The time of living here was nice. Friendly maintenance and never an issue. But after moving out we learn the management is severely dishonest. Charging outrageous fees and only giving us 7 days to pay it! DO NOT RENT HERE!
Veronica Leitke: I love these apartments! I appreciate that the ownership continuously makes improvements and updates to the property. The new speed bumps make me feel a lot safer in the community. Office and maintenance staff - keep up the good work! It does not go unnoticed.
ColinBrunnemer77: THE SPEED BUMPS! Why?? My girlfriend has an apartment here and I come over almost everyday. I own two cars, both of which are low to the ground. They just put in two super steep speed bumps today and my girlfriend and I are both livid. She is locked into a lease here and pays them her rent every month, she’s a great tenant - and nobody even consulted her about the speed bumps. Personally, if I ever get an apartment, one speed bump is all it would take to make me NEVER consider getting an apartment there. I scraped on both speed bumps even taking it at an angle and very slowly. SMH. At least consult your tenants first. Or even if the bumps were less tall and a bit longer - that would work too. Not everybody drives a car with SUV-level ground clearance.
Akil Mills: 4 year resident review:Pros: Very clean, well maintained grounds. The amenities are nice. Stonebridge has resident appreciation days, holiday activities.Community neighbors normally will stay to themselves but can be friendly.Maintenance is probably the best thing about this place. They do an excellent job!Cons:Parking is terrible. Basically, you have to be in by 7pm otherwise you have to find parking.Break-ins/thefts from vehicles are heavy here! Be mindful of where you leave your car. There is 1 or 2 cameras. To monitor who dumps bulk trash/ leasing office(obviously). Both my wife and I had our cars broken into several times. Stonebridge didn’t aid us with that. Also, we’ve had several people different times while we’ve been here try to break in our apartment. They check doors during the day while you’re at work...etcNoisy upstairs neighbors. I’ve had multiple conflicts and other neighbors have had conflicts with upstairs neighbors not being respectful, especially during quiet hours. I’ve had to go up several times to have a conversation around respect. Loud music, video shooting games, Loud TV’s, dancing, after 11pm you will hear it. Stonebridge management staff just says call their security services(who are nice), but they will even tell you there’s not much they can do but to report it back to the management team. They are a very tough, “matter of fact” group of people to deal with.Weed smell- everyone smokes it now, which is an issue if you don’t smoke, but it will seep through the inside vents of your apartment. Your clothes will smell like it.Other than that.. make sure that before you tour this complex ride around the community several times one during day and evening/night(after7pm/8pm) to get an idea of these situations. Overall, it was a nice place to stay could it have been better, yeah.
Emily France: Loved living here! The front office staff was amazing from move in to move out! The maintained was very attentive and friendly and normally came the same day! Only reason we moved out was because we bought a house or we more defiantly would have renewed our lease!
Dan Perritt: Very dishonest firm. I would never ever rent from this company ever! They still use fax machines to send payment information. Please please please avoid this firm at all costs. They will overcharge and make you miserable. Sincerely.
jordan watson: Great amenities, pool is nice, some of the cardio equipment could be updated. They try their best to offer monthly activities and they are always fun to attend. The office staff is always friendly and helpful. We had numerous maintenance issues, and the maintenance staff is very friendly and they do a good job at getting to you in a timely manner. Only a couple drawbacks to this complex, one being that parking is tight. Depending on your schedule you’ll have to park a ways away from your place. They offer garages to rent but they aren’t really worth the cost they are charging per month. Lastly, Be very specific about damages on the move-in inspection, because like any complex, when you move out they will nickel and dime you for every little thing. Specifically make sure you take advantage of their carpet cleaning, because they will try and make you pay to replace the entire apartment over some spot stains.
Chris Meek: Staff is friendly but don't enforce policies. Also not all residents respect their neighbors enough to pick up after their pets. It used to be really pretty here, now there are piles of dog droppings nearly everywhere.
padmini VK: We stay here for 2 years. House are pretty good in size and loved the walk In and kitchen balcony.ProsProperty is beautiful with a lake view, pool heated jacuzzi.Accessible to Grocery, downtown.Homes are fairly priced and appliances are goodMaintenance issues were addressed immediatelyPlenty of space to take a walk inside and outside the property as wellConsVery less parking availablegym does stink n small in sizewe had our car window broke into including 2 of our neighbors same night. So safety wise not much for vehicles.Jeniffer(the manager) is not friendly or professional while talking about policy. We broke the lease n She said we would give back our penalty fee in case someone occupied the house following month. They did but she wouldn’t accept.
Brooke Rennie: My husband and I rented from Stonebridge apartments on the south side of Indianapolis for almost three years. We were really happy with renting from them until recently. The move out inspection was cancelled 15 min before hand when we were moving cross country that day. They stated it was "against policy" when asked to provide said policy, they could not provide any documentation and were very resistant.Specifically Jennifer Binder, the manager at that location has been extremely unprofessional and when asked to speak to her supervisor, will not provide the information. They also charged unfair and inconsistent items on the final statement that were never mentioned in the move out inspection! Also, they violated their own contract by not providing the final bill within the stated 45 days.We don't want what happened to us to happen to others renting there! Avoid renting here!
Vickie Uberto: My daughter and son in law live here and they have a really nice apartment
Rick Thomas: worst apartment I had ever seen. After 2 days of moving the apartment get flooded which damaged my furniture. Avoid to live there
Brad Beatty: Not a place you want to live. The parking here is completely unacceptable. There are not enough spots and the management refuses to acknowledge this issue. For the last year we have made do by parking in makeshift spots and now they have decided to tag our vehicles with 10-inch stickers on our windows on a 90-degree day that do not come off. When I approached management about this issue, no apology was offered and the manager stated, “there is enough parking you might just need to park 3 building down when it is busy.” If you think that is an acceptable solution to an ongoing problem, then please, make yourself at home at Stone Bridge Apartments. Furthermore when explaining to the manager that it is not acceptable to put large stickers on someone’s window in the middle of summer she replied, “It should come off with some ‘Goof Off.’” I am thoroughly unimpressed and highly disappointed to say the least.
D A: When you move out make sure you see actual estimates and charges for any repair work they say you caused. Found out maintenance actually adds to these charges to come in under budget in order to receive a bonus at the end of the year.
Caleb Middleton: Horrible, horrible Management. Do yourself a favor and refrain from this place if you would like to keep ahold of your money. Had to relocate after a few months for my work, and they didn’t sympathize whatsoever with me. It was a mandatory move for my job and they still charged me over $3,000. I asked to speak to one of the managers and she sat us down for two minutes only to tell us that there was nothing she could do for us, even before she heard me out. They don’t care about you or anyone else.
Travis Esparza-Roberson: Me and my husband love living here! I have zero complaints and we were fairly picky with finding our new apartment. Downtown is easy to get to. The pool/hot tub, the property, and the apartments are all very well maintained. No service request goes ignored no mater how small! I wanted to clean out our dryer vent and asked if I could borrow a latter to reach it and they had someone come do it for us instead! When our washer (our own, not one we rented from them) over flowed our laundry room on a Sunday afternoon they had someone out in 30 minutes suctioning up the water!Move in was super easy as well, the unit was clean and no repairs have been needed. In addition there are no dumpsters, only a neat out of the way trash compactor. The only negative is parking is a little crowded at times which an email went out that they are trying a solution beginning 2019.The cost of rent is well worth any amount charged for rent and any applicable fees. I am certain that as long as life doesn’t change job wise we will be renewing fall of 2019!
Kiran M: Very well maintained & exemplary service ! Management is really good, they listen to your concerns and ensure its solved within quick turnaround.
Jeffrey Gardner: I’ve lived here for about a year and a half now and can honestly say I have no complaints since I moved in. The maintenance staff are pretty incredible. I’ve submitted several requests over the past 18 months and the repair has almost always happened the same day. Once had a repair done less than 20 minutes after submitting the request. The management staff have also been great. Always very helpful and doing their job with a smile. Some people feel it’s overpriced here, but I would disagree. Although I haven’t lived in an apartment prior to living here, there are a lot of details that can be tricky to put a price tag on. Very well kept community, I always feel safe, friendly staff, good neighbours, clean amenities, etc. So for me I was willing to pay a small premium over other complexes, but I think the peace of mind is worth every penny.I also like running and playing tennis. So having lighted tennis courts next door is great, and the surrounding neighbourhood is nice for an evening run or walking dogs.
Katie Ward: I moved in to Stonebridge August 2017 and am moving out when my lease is up next month purely because I got a new job and have to relocate. I actually renewed my lease before I found out about the job and the office staff (shout out to Sha!!) were nice enough to let me out of my renewed lease without penalty. Stonebridge offered me everything I needed for what I believe to be a reasonable cost. I think people have unreasonable expectations when it comes to rent charges, but maybe that's just me. I lived in a 2 bed 2 bath with a good sized screened-in balcony since I had a nice view of the woods behind me and they thought ahead to keep the bugs out. :) My apartment was clean upon move-in time and the whole move in process was a breeze. EVERYONE in the office is amazingly nice and helpful and just super cool. The apartment itself is really cute, wonderful floor plan and cute archways and built-ins. My AC went out once and maintenance was there within 20 minutes to fix it. Every other smaller maintenance request I submitted (online, super easy!) was done within a few hours of submission. The nice online resident's portal allows you to pay your rent, too. Although I generally keep to myself, all the neighbors I interacted with were super nice and no one seemed creepy or anything. The grounds are nice; I love the water features as well. The pool is generally clean and the hot tub is a nice touch, and the area of the complex is great!I would definitely recommend Stonebridge to anyone. I only have a few negatives I'd like to share - similar to the negatives I've seen in some other reviews. The heat is electric, so yes the winter heating bills are high. I am extremely conservative with my heat use - most of the time I keep it set under 68 in the winter, only going a little higher when it is super cold. My highest heating bill in the winter was a little over $200 which I thought was insane for a place around 1010 sq ft, but my mom told me that is pretty normal with electric heating. Over the summer, my bills are probably around $60 and I only turn the AC on when it is about 85 or warmer out. There is definitely a bit of a dog poop problem, but that's more on the residents than the staff I think. There are signs and poop stations throughout the complex, so really if someone's leaving their dog poop, they're just a poop themselves. If you see a neighbor leaving poop, say something!! Report them!!The roads need some work, but this is the midwest and winter isn't kind on asphalt. They do their best to fix them up. Parking is a bit of an issue, but the last time I talked to the office they said they were trying to work on a solution for it.I could only hear my neighbors if they had a larger get-together in their apartment, were playing pretty loud music, they were stomping down the stairs, or if their dogs barked. My toilets also have the loudest pipe/water noises I've ever experienced but that noise only lasts like 15 seconds. Otherwise, it was pleasantly quiet. My biggest complaint is they took away recycling about 2 months after I moved in. Residents were not breaking down boxes, putting trash into the recycling, etc, so they decided they couldn't deal with it anymore and took it away. I can understand the struggle, but recycling is really important to me (it should be to you too :) ) and it would be great if they could work on a solution to bring it back.Overall, the positives greatly outweigh the negatives with both my apartment and the complex itself. I loved my experience at Stonebridge!!!

Artistry Indy: what do users think?
Lisa O'Reilly: Close proximity to many Indianapolis destinations.
Francisco Ruiz: The best place in Indy, staff is incredibly nice, the community is cool, I am 2 blocks away from best restaurants and attractions. I highly recommend Artistry👏
Bryan Richburg: I have lived here for the last 15 months and am only moving to be closer to my job. These apartments were a part of my introduction to the city of Indianapolis and I have absolutely loved living here. The location is near Whole Foods, a BP gas station and best of all in walking distance to multiple restaurants and Mass Ave. My apartment was a great size for a single person with plenty of storag and a huge up to date kitchen. The staff were always friendly especially Michelle and the maintenance staff were always quick to respond for any issues I may have had. They are always having events for the residents in the lounge ranging from a grab and go breakfast to BYOB game nights. If you are looking for a great city experience, I would highly recommend.
aly mar: I really enjoyed my one year as resident at this property , the building are clean , the management office are friendly and always ready to help with all inquiries specially Michelle and Claudia as well . Thanks for printing all my documents always with a smile lol 😂 appreciate it and i will definitely come back for a 2bedrooms when will i get married lol
Donald Brady: Great
LaShaila Spivey: Do not move here. The staff is not friendly. The building is not safe or secure. The external door to the mailroom has been broken/open for months. Your packages will be stolen because of this but there's no security cameras so good luck. Also, there are numerous AirBnB hosts, and their guests will make your living situation a complete nightmare. There's trash all over the place. They also use IMPD to clear out the pool immediately when the pool closes. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy.
Lance Little: Horrible place to live!!
Dayshah Arroyo: Absolutely horrible apartment complex. I was mugged by a homeless man on more than one occasion. Complex does nothing to keep unwanted people out of the parking garage. Very unsafe and horrible management.
imani gadis: it was the weirdest and rudest experience I’ve ever had in my life. I’ve been to more upscale apartments that have a open door policy for the leasing office, but this one thought they were swanky enough to have it completely closed off through a lock box. After dialing the lockbox number, I found the lady to be very rude when asking if I could do a walk in tour with no appointment. I stated “ Hi I apologize for the short notice, but I was in the area looking at other apartments and thought I could just stop in for a tour is that ok? She than responds “I guess so, if I could find the time”. Keep in mind I’m just standing outside in the cold, waiting for them to let me in so that way they could at least greet me and tell me what the prices are but even after I was let inside she sat me down in the waiting area for 30 minutes came back asked my level of income and my expectations, and then walked off. I thought that was weird because I have a high income and really good credit but she never came back.I experienced a lot of different things looking for apartments as a black man. This was the weirdest one of them all I wouldn’t even call it racist just as much is stereotyping maybe because they thought I didn’t make money but yeah, I wouldnt rent here, even if I owned the place! I will be contacting the state housing department about this to let them know.
Josh Jordan: I never leave reviews, but Artistry Indy asked me to!This is by far the worst place I have ever leased from, bar none!As I write this, I am on a back and forth with their leasing office because they sent me my lease again after I denied an addendum trying to sign me up for a credit reporting service that I have to pay for or cancel myself onto my lease renewal! Instead of returning my calls, they emailed me a congratulations for my lease renewal and said review us! So here's my experience:My car has been broken into from the internal garage, but sorry "no cameras and not our problem, file a police report"There was a fresh bullet hole in an elevator until they patched itMold in my washer wasn't resolved for 6 months even with follow upsStench in the halls and garbage chute rooms filled with trash come Monday morning from improper maintenance of the chutesIt took them 4 attempts to stop my A/C from flooding the floorMy ceiling poured water from the apartment above me, twice0/10, would not recommend! :D
Jake Brashear: Great facilities, great staff, very well done overall compared to most apartment complexes. The add-on parts that you can't get out of are annoying, such as the mandatory $25 per month for trash collection services that no one literally ever uses, but outside of that it's everything I had hoped for. All things in, I would make the same decision but will not be renewing my contract for other, personal reasons. You won't go wrong signing here, just make sure you are an outgoing person or you won't fit in well.
jjaks krull: 2 stars because I’ve gotten an email to fill out this satisfaction survey every other day for a year even after unsubscribing my email address numerous times. Apartments fine though.
Kristin Voss: I sent the pics to the Artistry maintenance request thingy, but have since deleted them so I do not have them to provide. But I have mold. I have bugs. And I have submitted multiple requests to correct these issues and I keep getting messages "work order submitted" and then "work order canceled"Will my issued ever be fixed?Fingers crossed. It's been3months since I first sent pics of all of the mold.
Dimitry Raymond: The maintenance here is still bad. My AC unit broke when it was 90 outside, Michelle lied about scheduling the AC guy to come and fix it (I confirmed it with him when I met him). Wasn't until an angry email later that they actually lifted a finger to do anything. Then my exhaust fan/ventilator for the unit became defective. Their "fix" was to remove it without a plan to replace it. (would have been better to keep it in). They have easy ways to fix this issue. But, it's been 2 months of no properly circulating air and there's still no fix in sight. Jacob's response, from a month ago about being diligent to fix this, was a lie.
Jason Green: Office staff has really disappoint me, I have had a water leak for a week and they showed no interest in resolving the problem. After multiple promises to fix it on multiple occasions, still no one came, For the price you pay you shouldn't have to have buckets of water lying around to catch the leaks. Trying to go down to office maybe then they will care, but doubt it....
Noémie Golubovic: I lived at the Artistry for a year and I loved it ! Building is always clean, the staff is super nice and helpful, the amenities are great (2 gyms, rooftop pool, dog park …) and there is social events almost every months and yoga and work out classes every week !
Sara Aguilar: Not a place to make friends, Less if you have children. Needs to improve overall cleanliness of buildings
Rachel Tullar: I lived at the artistry for 2 years and my partner lived here for 3 years so I feel that I have a fair assessment of this complex. It was a decent place to live starting out, especially if you are in your 20’s. Like every apartment, there are pros and cons of living here which I have laid out below.Location: Fair - the location is within walking distance of a lot of restaurants, night life and two grocery stores (Whole Foods & Needlers) which is extremely convenient. The downside is that the Artistry is located directly next to a homeless shelter where multiple violent offenders reside. I personally did not feel safe walking around outside on my own or at night because of this. 2/5Building Amenities: Excellent - the pool is great, and is definitely a party during the weekends. The gym is small but had pretty much everything that I needed. Amazon package hub is also very nice. I used the common areas during work hours occasionally which was convenient. 5/5Apartment Quality: Fair - the apartment was fairly cheap, and the walls are thin. We had an issue with the upstairs neighbors making a ton of noise for 3+ months which made it difficult to sleep. The appliances are okay, dishwasher was not the best. The bathroom was poorly ventilated and started to grow some mold around the caulk. We also had a major moisture problem and they supplied us with an air dehumidifier which helped a little. 3/5Staff: This one is hard, there was some staff that was extremely phenomenal to work with (Skylar, Jacob, and Austin) and others who were really difficult to work with (Jen). After living there for 2 years we eventually knew the right people to reach out to. Unfortunately those who are hard to work with took away from the experience of those who did an excellent job. 3/5Misc: When we moved into our apartment in 2020 there was a putrid smell coming out of the vents for a few weeks. I know that multiple tenants complained about this and the problem wasn’t addressed until a few weeks later. It turns out there was a dead body rotting in a first floor vacant apartment. The entire apartment was covered in flies. The management never addressed what happened in this situation but just clarified that they found a body - many nearby tenants thought that a homeless person broke into this apartment and passed away which brought on extra safety concerns.
Amy Plocharczyk: Easy access to interstates, right next to Whole Foods, walking distance to mass ave, and easy walking distance to night life activities! My dog loves the bark park and seeing all the friendly faces.
Laurie Butler: Caitlin and Austin are terrific people with whom to deal here. As are the maintenance crew and all the rest. A great place to live!!!!!Laurie Butler

River House: what do users think?
Flaco Barro: I'd find another place to stay. If your Hispanic. They don't really welcome our kind ..
Vinny: They don't like Hispanic folks staying in the building. Unless you're working on fixing something. Is my assumption..
Vicente: I'd probably call it the dog house instead of River house. It smells like an animal clinic in the hallways.. but the bright side. They are definitely pet friendly. Maybe a bit too friendly.
Anna Priesmeyer: I cannot speak highly enough of Patrick, our maintenance tech on site. He was quick and happy to help with a late night issue without hesitation! He is always a smiling face!
Elizabeth Joray: I've lived here for a year and a half and have loved it! The location is awesome, it's quiet, and the views are amazing of the river! The huge rooftop deck and the Pelotons in the gym are some of my favorite amenities. The staff is great, especially Patrick! I haven't had many maintenance issues but when I did, Patrick, the onsite maintenance manager, came to my apartment on his day off to make sure I had hot water for the weekend when my water heater turned off. I also received a follow up call from the Property Manager to apologize for any inconvenience. Great property and team - would highly recommend!
Sean Miller: Patrick the maintenance man has gone above and beyond for me even talking to him is refreshing because he’s such a likable guy. Great overall staff that’s always trying to help!
Clayton K Stewart II: I’m a caregiver that works with a resident of River House apartments. While I understand how some people feel about these apartments being in Broad Ripple, my review is strictly about the customer service experience. Anytime I’ve had to call with an (mostly minor) issue on behalf of my client, the office staff have been very courteous and professional, and Patrick in particular, their maintenance tech is always prompt, friendly and knowledgeable on all things pertaining to the units and the grounds. Always enjoy running into him. They also provide a daily dozen or so of donuts from Rise ‘n Roll for residents to enjoy. Also, the rooftop is so much fun and has great views of the area and city.
Elizabeth Rudolph: really kind and caring staff! super nice property and walking distance to everything broadripple has to offer:)
Cassidy Davidson: very friendly & responsive staff. Great amenities & location. so happy to have found this place to call home!
Tony Bellissimo: Great locationBest built new apartments in the area with an amazing roof deckProperty Management Staff and Maintenance is very personable and timely in responsesAnyone looking to live in Broad Ripple this is the spot !
Brittany Keplinger: What a beautiful property!! Great community!!
Michael McDermott: I ended up getting my own place in the area but for the year I was at Riverhouse I was happy with my choice. Pretty decent floor plan, solid amenities, had a couple minor things needing fixed throughout my stay that got taken care of quick. You get what you pay for as far as location. Broad Ripple has a lot of bars, restaurants, and little mom and pop stores that I enjoyed. It ended up being perfect for a work from home situation especially when Covid hit. My gym, doctor, dentist, and all manner of entertainment were all within minutes from home.
Lexi Landis: A very welcome addition to downtown Broad Ripple. Every interaction with the staff has been pleasant, helpful, and kind. Plus, great location!
Elizabeth Gorman: Super nice and spacious apartment! The perfect location too, right in the heart of Broad Ripple and on the Monon. I love that there's a washer and dryer included and that they're pet friendly. Also all of my interactions with the office staff have been wonderful, they're super helpful!
Nathan Elliott: We absolutely love this building and the staff. The staff, from the community manager to the maintenance team, always goes above and beyond for us. Definitely recommend stopping in to see Kristen.
Devon Agee: Great customer service!
Jessica Maris: Beautiful property and the staff is fantastic!!
Johnathan Myhre: Great experience with this property.I highly recommend the staff here especially Kristin.
Courtney’s Kitchen Chronicles: Gorgeous apartments, incredible location if you love the urban downtown vibe. If you love to walk it’s right across the street from the Monon Trail! And the manager, Kristin is great! I love that it’s pet friendly and has a parking garage. It’s Broad Ripple living at its best in my opinion. Definitely would recommend!
Chandra C: Love this community! The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of Broad Ripple!
Maddie Criss: I’ve lived in/around the broad ripple area for 4 years now and this has been my favorite location. All amenities are nice and updated, the view is incredible. If you’re looking for a great community in an even better location, they will provide!

Central State Mansion: what do users think?
NIKKI COLLINS: I love this place so warm and cozy 💕 and the cafe is amazing!! The coffee was so good and the people who run this place are so nice ! I love it thank you for this awesome place to hang at an live .
Jennifer Davis: I didn't leave here as a resident but, visited someone who was. I would definitely not recommend anyone living here. Things aren't what they seem to be here.
meghan Wolf: The new management here is FABULOUS. Place has made such a comeback and the entire staff and building are way more inviting and professional. This building is so unique and I love that there’s a super cute coffee shop open in the lobby now. It’s a must see.
Cristy Hudon: I called yesterday for a walk through at Central State Mansion, Kathy G. met with me and showed me around. A very warm and welcoming lady. So very nice and sweet. I loved the mansion and the environment. Seems like a very nice place to call home.
Marcos Perez: This place will drive you insane and steal your security deposit. STAY AWAY!
Abby Tuttle: I lived here for 6 months and liked it for the most part. The staff did switch in out and often it felt like, but all staff was nice and helpful. I give 3/5 because commuted living isn’t my style.
Nancy Cales: Pitiful how Indy has the gal to take an insane asylum and call this a mansion and paradise. If those walls could talk.
Natasha Johnson: I stayed at Central State Mansion 1 year and I enjoyed my stay. I liked the pool, the cafe, the places to walk, not to mention there's a near by public track where I exercised often, the very large bathrooms were my favorite, I experienced my first sauna here, it was a good experience too. I really appreciate the fellowship with the community here, cooking and pot lucks were great. I had an overall peaceful experience. It's a good place to live if you don't mind having a roommate, it's very affordable. Thanks for allowing me to be a resident here. I really appreciate Ms. Michelle, Hunter, Olivia, Housekeeping, and Maintenance. God bless.
versa inertia: Just wondering. Have any of you apartment residents heard any strange noises at night or seen anything strange?
BoNita “Nita” Louise: A very beautiful and well kept Apartment Complex where students reside while attending a variety of Universities in the area of Indianapolis, IN.
SoundMIND Guru: Central State Mansion is truly a labor of love. The staff works really hard to provide their tenants with the best experience at an affordable cost. Hunter the concierge really does care about the community he serves at Central State Mansion. My experiences at Central State is that it feels more than just an oasis, but a home. I am truly thankful to be a part of this wonderful and vibrate community. Come and experience it for yourself. #LoveCentralStateMansion
Kyanna Velasco: The new guy that works there is a gem. The place is beautiful!
James Fan: This is a great place to live if you don’t have family or kids. Cool people to hangout with and meet with new friends!
Roger Baldwin: Exactly what I expected
Jon: Best place in Indy to live
Cebron Isom: I wasn't able to give this property no stars but I would've. Well where should I start! This property isn't at all as it appears. The bathrooms are shared and often nasty. The office takes weeks to respond to residents request and when you get a response they act as if they can't understand the situation, inhumane. During the winter months the heat blew cool, which meant it didn't work. Safety is often a concern because there are addicts that live here. Often the wifi isnt working for days at a time. There are refrigerators in the kitchen (where there are cameras) and either my food was taken or staff trashed it. Remember color does matter.
Joseph Casey: I always visit here when I'm in Indianapolis, it's truly the gem of the city. The coffee shop is an absolute dream. I wish there were more communities like this around the country!
Stanley Taylor: Well thanks foThanks for reSponse but you took the deposit and app fee and well I was approved with co-signer when I found one I was then denied so explain what changed sorry not right and don’t be crassI have been homeless for awhile now and welll to be honest was finally able to get myself out the situation I put myself in went and put money and deposit down for studio woman saiD if I was able to get a co-signer I would finally be approved I was able to do that and they still denied me .... why didn’t they just say we don’t want your kind here would have been easier for me
Tiray Scott: Cool chill place and great living environment for students who work. The staff are trustworthy and have you best interest in mind.
nate klingenberg: I recently moved here from st.louis two months. I currently pay 370 a moth for a double. Although, it feels like a dorm setting they really offer everything. Central state mansion offers free WiFi, swimming pool, yoga classes, weight room and sona. In addition, they have on site washer and dryer for a dollar each. This is a very comouter friendly environment, and would highly recommend this for anyone.
Felix Medina: This place is special! From the vision behind its creation, to the actual mansion facilities, this place rocks. The peace that I have found while living in this building is priceless. Great part of town too. Anyways, I highly recommend checking this place out. You won't regret it. PS. Did I mention the coffee shop, pool, wooded area, sauna, gym, yoga studio and movie theater? Boom!

Residences at Keystone Crossing: what do users think?
Michael Antonio Canganelli: The best place at which we have ever rented!
Sherri H: I lived in the Residences for almost seven years. I moved due to transferring to a new job. I enjoyed living here!! Will and Morgan are awesome property management staff. Whenever I had an issue it was addressed promptly. I always felt safe in this apartment community and it lived up to its title "luxury apartments". The amenities are impeccable and being able to walk to my vehicle in a parking garage or walk to a whole shopping mall without walking outside is certainly unique in Indy!! This living experience was one in a million!
Teara Reeves: Customer service is a huge part of my apartment searching journey. I have no complaints after touring with your leasing agent Morgan. She was very friendly, helpful and made the process easy for me!
Zully Ortíz La Voz!!: Me encanta
Makara Starnes: Toured with Morgan today and our experience with her was 10/10. She was so friendly and personable, exactly the vibe from management we are looking for. Five stars for her!! The apartment life here seems cozy and fun. We are excited to explore our options for moving in! :-)
Suma Katorgi: The Residences at Keystone Crossing are truly an unmatched apartment complex to live in at Keystone. They continued to make it feel like home, as I moved in alone. They made the whole process smooth and easy for me, and they truly went out of their way several times to help me out. I know that whenever I come back to Indianapolis for a trip I’ll make sure to visit them and say hi, if not stay there again!
Rozena Haney: Wonderful staff and very clean and upscale ! Thank you 😊
Dan Root: Solid apartments with great amenities. Almost impossible to find more amenities for the price in Indy. It’s close to everything. Management has been A+ so far, and very friendly. Units are some what small, but I knew that when I moved in.
diamondgirl: The Residences is a wonderful property in a GREAT location. I love the access to the mall, hotel and the general area overall. I'd dreamed of living here for a while because of the location, and the elegance and classic look of the lobby. Very luxe and unique.charm. Similar to The Plaza Hotel in NYC.However, the parking has always been an issue, as we have to share with hotel guests and mall patrons. Parking in the garage was free, now they charge a monthly fee for parking that is sometimes very limited. Now, they've changed the entire look of the lobby and took away that luxe ambiance and cheapened it a bit. I know that management thought that they were updating the look. However, I feel like they should have put that money and focus on providing better parking so that those of us who pay luxury pricing monthly do not have to fight for a space. I'm sure that most of the residences would have much preferred that to a redesign.Overall though, I really like this place. It is a wonderful place!
H P: I do honestly like living here minus the big changes that have came about. Donell the property manager is awesome. Parking was free when I first moved in and the Sheraton next door decided they need to add more fees so now you have to pay to park. The amount of conferences and people that are in the main lobby area do however make it unwelcoming. It's hard to carry groceries through one of these events. Another down side is the lack of outdoor space. I had a bad neighbor for most of my lease but Donell was able to get that under control. All in all I do like living here. It has its ups and downs just like everywhere else. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because of the new parking situation and the amount of people that are generally in the lobby. It seems as if our building is dictated by whatever is best for the hotel and not the people living here. It's a very safe place and I do love that.
Scott Coolidge: I've lived here for four years, and my experience has been great! I wish they didn't have events in the lobby, but nothing is perfect. The maintenance guy (Rick) is great and he does a great job. The property manager (Mackie) does what she does quite well. I would recommend this building to anyone looking for convenient, and small simple living.
Jackie Arnoldy: Terrible !!! Staff attitude and their version of quality is a joke!! So glad I'm gone !!
Amber: The management simply does not care! They frequently lose employees and tenants. Luxury, not even close! For the same price, you're better traveling a few miles north to Carmel. My family found a better fit for our needs with services provided by people who actually care.
Blake Skates: It's a party house, noisy parties, shouting, unprofessional, loud music.
Tam Tamsl: I have lived here for a year. The actual units look nice on this inside. The hallways are fairly well kept. The closet space is absolutely HORRIBLE!!!!! Honestly all the closets in the 1 bedroom units only make one actual full closet put together. I have to pay an extra $150/month for a large storage to hold my clothing and shoes :(. Living here, you only pay for the location and the fact that this building is connected to the mall..... These units are honestly overpriced by $2-300.00They remodeled the entrance and lobby and the only thing that actually looks good and makes sense is the door they replaced. A guest of mine said the lobby reminded her of the "Titanic". There is a TON of cheap looking furniture and the carpets don't match. The carpet actually really bothers me. The elevator carpet looks as if they took some scrap carpet from the garbage and threw it in there (there should actually be no carpet in there at all). You have to park in the parking garage which is approximately a 1/2 mile from the actual apartments! (as there is very limited parking near the building). It makes for great exercise but not when you are in a hurry. There is a keycard access to get on the elevator which is great and safe for tenants but horrible when you have guest and have to personally walk to the lobby and get them (it's very inconvenient when you are not dressed and have to throw on anything to run downstairs). I would suggest they implement some sort of call box, it would definitely make MY life much easier:)The front office staff is pretty laid back and ok.... most of the time, but they seem understaffed, stressed and are unavailable quite often.... Maintenance guy is awesome though! My overall summed up opinion is, there are nicer places in this area that you can definitely get "more bang/space for your buck". This place charges premium prices for very minimal space. Is it convenient for a shopaholic? Definitely! But other than that, I would suggest if they don't come down on their prices or even better, dramatically increase the storage space in these units, don't do it!

The Vue Luxury Apartments: what do users think?
William Sipple: Lived here for two years. Their security is a joke. Says secure underground garage. All the locks fail and their cameras were conveniently not working when someone stole my vintage 1986 Honda Scooter. When I told management they did nothing. Even though I had renters insurance it didn't cover their garage. Pay extra for parking and good luck if something happens. Will probably have to take them to small claims court for their negligence. They knew the cameras and doors weren't working. Even after an assault and robbery in the building they did nothing to protect anyone or their property.
Moussa Gueye: My wife and I we have lived at the Vue luxury apt for almost 4 years and we just moved out about 2 days ago so if there is anyone who has seen some changes after being there for 4 years, that’s us.Throughout the 4 years we have been there, we had witnessed at least 6 different office change and we can say that the office staff that is there now, is the BEST You can find in any apt building complex considering we lived in many apartments. They are caring, they engage with the community in site, they will go above and beyond to make sure you are taken care, and best of all, the take pride in doing their job the right way. By staff, I also mean even the maintenance team is very reliable and available when you need them. This past year with this new staff member has been the best time we have had at the Vue luxury apartment and whoever lives there, will be taken care off and will also be lucky to have them as facilitators willing to help.Thank you for all your hard work and the gift of attention that you give to your tenants.Moussa.
Mark Miers: It’s a great place to live. The staff does several things each month for the residents.
Patricia Stewart: Spacious apartment with 3 bedrooms one with en-suite was excellent. The tavern is just downstairs so a 2-minute walk and you're there. Beautiful view over the ocean. Undercover parking. Everyone that works there is very nice and comes highly recommended.
Violet Auld: We stayed here in March and had a fantastic time - the apartments are very luxurious with fully equipped kitchens. Excellent position on Trinity Beach and will definitely be back.
Anthony Wright: Well the view was extremely mesmerizing and it was a very clean and well set out hotel. Spacious, clean, well appointed, and car parking. Need a car to get around as out of Cairns, but really enjoyed the place and will go back
Cynthia Soules: The management is exceptional, the location perfect and the views are stunning. The apartments are spacious, peaceful, and spotlessly clean. Could not fault it. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we will be back again and again. Exceptional spot with exceptional service
Joyce Green: We have stayed here twice in the last 5 weeks. 3 nights each time. Love the apartments. Very clean and spacious. The Staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is perfect if you don't have a car.
Anthony Banayote: The staff has been an absolute pleasure to work and are some of the kindest people. Tonya, Jessica, and Samantha have been nothing but helpful. They have amazing service. The building is great too, with a beautiful view of the city, and some great features. Couldn’t be happier.
Ashley Derloshon: The new management is fantastic! So many improvements already!
Abby Gomez: Leasing office is never open like if you aren’t going to open at all don’t bother putting work hours. Worst experience ever
Laura Wombwell: Lived here for the summer and it’s been great! Everyone in management that we’ve worked with has been fantastic and friendly, they host resident events such as Taco Thursday, Mimosa & Bagels, Movie Nights and other fun stuff (for free!). We needed a short term, pet-friendly lease and we are very pleased with finding The Vue!!
mason montgomery: Took a tour and the staff was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable
Dan L: Still waiting on my security deposit from January. They admitted that I am owed a full refund and always say it's coming this week. It never arrived and they have no intention to pay. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM.Response to your comment: This is the response I was given in February, March, April, May, June... Your promised to send it out last Tuesday and nothing has arrived. You also promised to send it out "this week" on numerous occasions before. I can assume only willful negligence through layers of bureaucracy (it's always someone else's problem) to engage in theft at this point. Maybe a court order will get your attention. Will file the paperwork this week.
chris zinerman: I visited this apartment complex for five seconds at the leasing office and have never felt so unwelcome. I feel the staff at the front desk immediately profiled me, and was not making me feel comfortable while communicating. This was a big red flag to me, and I instantly knew this community would not be a fit for someone of my background. This was the quickest way to lose a responsible, prospective tenant.
Cyrus Stanford: Holy hell... Where to start. By far the most frustrating experience my roommate and I have ever experienced. Do not live here if you want competent management. Yes they are cheap, but there is a reason they are so cheap. First off, security is non existent. Out of the two years I lived there, there was never a time that a door to get into the building did not work. Doors that literally lead into the garage with everyone's cars & bikes (My bike was stolen this way...). After having front office workers that gas light you and make it seem like its your fault (it is typically not), we decided to move. NOW... we are dealing with the VUE not giving us back our security deposit. It has been two months since we moved out, and have reached out numerous times to find out when we would get it back. As you would expect no one answers their phones.Anytime you see a reply on a 1 star review they say, " PlEaSe ReAcH OuT To Us, We WaNT To hEar AbOuT yOuR eXpErIence" utter bull, because they cant even answer their phones or emails. Even after I went into the office, they told me I would hear back from accounting in 2 days. Now they avoid us like a bad ex..Id give 0 stars if I could.
Julie Uceda: I have moved out of the apartment last May and since then it's been ONE YEAR and they still have NOT gotten back to me with my security deposit. I have checked with the property that I do have credit on my account that is about $500 something dollars and I cannot believe that the property manager has not been responding to my follow-up emails since March. They would charge interest and late fees on late rent payment from the residents, but they would disregard giving my money back on security deposit and be okay about it for ONE ENTIRE YEAR? Ridiculous. Please be more responsible and at least reply to my voice mail or emails letting me know of the status. Just really disappointing how much I have to drag on getting my own money back. This was my very last resort to have to put on google review so that I hopefully get their attention to get in contact with them. This is just ridiculous. Will someone help me get my $$ back from this apartment? I can show the receipts of ALL the emails in the past one entire year where no one responded. Called the company headquarters, left a "contact us" message, did everything I could. I cannot believe it.
K Bass: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Responsiveness,ValueJessica amd the maintenance are doing a fantastic job! It feels so much like home 🏡now since they came. Kevin Bass
Morgan Thomas: The rent is over priced for what you receive. There was trash constantly around the building. I had to call corporate to receive my security deposit. Def don’t recommend living here.
Ameer Fisher: My experience with this apartment complex was terrible and I do not recommend. In one year, there was new staff in the office every month. I could tell a drastic change in quality of service and upkeep of the complex from the beginning of my stay until I moved out. The staff can be very rude at times and it is very difficult to communicate with them if you can get in contact. Besides the staff, the apartments are nice but the walls are thin and there is always pet feces outside. Although the apartment is gated and has private access, there are periods of time (sometimes a whole week) where the apartment doors will not open with the key fob. The amenities are okay, however, the pool closed early last summer due to the complex not having chlorine. As far as communicating with the tenants via email, the staff has sent out passive aggressive emails threatening to evict people instead of addressing tenants independently. These apartments are not worth over 1,000 dollars in rent. If I could give less than one star, I would.

Winterhouse Apartments: what do users think?
Jinhyeong Bae: Lived for a year and moved out. They charge you for random stuff without any response or evidence and try to keep the security deposit. Doesn’t matter if you didn’t damage it, and when I asked for what exactly was damaged they did not respond. During the winters its extremely cold even with the two extra heaters that I bought.
Carl Mitchell: Just moved in, and so far zero issues and great very "European feel"to the building and apartment. Almost like I'm in Berlin!Staff has been exceptionally helpful with my last-minute move in plus dealing with social distancing that is required in Indianapolis now.Almost all paperwork/applications were dealt with online and I simply picked up the keys. Overall a fantastic experience so far.
Tim Cox: I've really enjoyed living at Winterhouse. The building is much nicer than the last building I lived in downtown, and the atmosphere here is youthful. Everyone's very social and upbeat.
Raymond Thornley: Been here for 2 years and have had no issues; the staff is friendly.
Simon BarSinister: During the holiday season of 2015, this disgusting group of golddiggers very aggressively forced long-time residents (30+ yrs) out, demanding some to vacate by the middle of February 2016. The nasty letter was rudely written, citing the law, and in a definite, airtight way that suggests not to challenge them. "Renovation" was one of the words used. They tripled the rent, too.Merry Christmas, I wish them all agony and misery to spare. I regret ever being civil with them and their sticky inferior fingers.

The Lodge at Trails Edge: what do users think?
Heather Hurst: Amy was very nice on our tour and gave a bunch of helpful information and was super friendly! Apartments are also reasonably priced and very nice as well!
Ruth Sikota: Critical:ValueThis place is a joke. How can you not have emergency maintenance. Temperature is in the 20s no heat in my apartment I can’t get anyone to come and fix this on a Sunday crazy. No wonder people keep moving out. My neighbor stayed only one year and run out of here so fast I don’t blame them.
Andreina Garcia: We have been leaving for almost a year here and it is a really nice and quiet community. Maintenance is on point. Shout out to Lucy for always helping us out.
Johny Guirguis: Most helpful crew, from office members to maintenance. They are awesome
Brooke Boughner: The buildings are nice but what really makes it home is the staff. Mae in particular really made me feel welcomed on my tour and as I was moving in! Highly recommend :)
Aliyah Russell: Beautiful community. Great communication and willingness to assist with any questions or concerns! Tamitra Tatum has made this moving process smooth! Definitely appreciated her patience and effective communication.
Joey Cari: Amended Review November 2022:I am an active lease holder of 3+ years. Spring 2022 I gave this complex a 3 star review. I am now downgrading to 1 star and including details regarding gun violence, theft, vandalism, infestation, gas leaks, etc.In the spring, the leasing office staff asked me to provide a Google review for them. I warned them it would be 3 stars because of numerous complaints. They insisted that I write one anyway. Much has happened this year which justifies a serious downgrade.Additional Critiques November 2022:-My car and others were shot numerous times with bullets fired from an adjacent tenant's mishandled firearm in February. This, I was told, was a result of a group of individuals who canvased the complex and successfully stole a vehicle from the parking lot. The owner of the vehicle shot at the perpetrators as they drove off. The bullets hit several cars parked in the lot, including mine. There was little response from the complex regarding this issue.-There is a history and current problem of theft and vandalism throughout the complex, including stolen belongings from laundry facilities, vehicle theft (parts, interiors, etc.), and the like. Little has been done by the complex to mitigate the issue. According to direct correspondence I have received from complex staff, theft is essentially not their concern.-My rent has been raised almost 40% since 2019, which includes an additional 15% raise that is being requested for my upcoming lease renewal.-Office staff turnover is extremely high.-Upgrades made to the complex have only been mostly cosmetic in nature. It reminds me of the "lipstick on a pig" colloquialism.-When I moved in mid-2019, my apartment furnace unit had a manufacture date of 1972. I learned that many of the complex apartments had similar units. It is likely those units are still in operation and have not been replaced. I had extended issues of gas leaks and improper function, and it took a full year of me complaining and filing numerous maintenance requests and grievances before the complex finally replaced it and offered a monetary concession as an apology.-My apartment and others in my building have had numerous gas leaks over the few years I have lived here. In one incident, I discovered a leak personally, called maintenance staff and city gas (Citizens) simultaneously, complex maintenance downplayed the issue reassuring me it was just a burning candle from another apartment that I smelled, but Citizens confirmed the leaks in my apartment and an adjacent one. It is reasonable to expect other apartments and buildings have experienced similar issues given the likely age of some of their existing furnace units, among other factors.-There has been an ongoing roach infestation in the building adjacent to mine for much of this year.Original Review Spring 2022:Highlights: Super close to all city amenities/necessities (pedestrian paths (Monon), restaurants, grocery, gas, misc. commercial/shopping/recreation, offices, interstate, and anything else you might need on a daily basis, friendly office staff, accessible complex, responsive maintenance crew, reasonable rent rate for area, 24/hr cardio equipment, maintained tennis court complex, dog park, clean pool.Lowlights: Trash clean up sometimes an issue, derelict sand volleyball court, pot holes in parking lot, broken weight machines in exercise room, no option internet service (Xiber), interstate noise, rent above $1k for 1 bed, geese everywhere, tenants sometimes don't clean up dog poop, occasional broken down cars left for extended periods of time.
Maria Gabriela Morales: I have lived in The Lodge at Trails Edge for a year and recently made a transfer to a larger apartment, I am very satisfied with the process and especially with the attention and excellent work of Lucy attending and resolving all my concerns. Overall I am appreciative of the office and maintenance staff, they are all very friendly and efficient.
Dezirae Harris: We just recently moved in and Tamitra Tatum made our move in very easy as a first time renter. She was very helpful and made it a fast and easy process.
Weilun Sun: I just moved into the Lodge with the help of their leasing agent, Tamitra Tatum. Tamitra was very patient with me, and walked me through the entire process of application step by step. There was another agent who helped me as well, Lucy Cruz-Peters, she was also very friendly and prompt.I moved into my one bedroom unit last night, and it was quite spacious for a single person. Nice wood floors in the living room and kitchen, and bedroom is carpeted. The kitchen has a beautiful black ceramic countertop. There is also a fireplace in my unit. The community seemed quite and private. From my experience so far, it seems to be a good place.
roy goodman: Tamitra and Lucy took good care of me and made my move in process smooth
Joileicia Foster: Tamitra Tatum was very professional I wish I could give her more stars if I could . She was so helpful I really appreciate her kindness. I wish it was more people in the world like her . The Lodge At Trails Egde absolutely deserves a 5 star
Godwin Marcus Okyere: Tamitra Tatum was my point of contact after I met Jane. They were very supportive. Tamitra was constantly in touch with me through the leasing process until moving in.
Gunner Grider: Jen and the leasing staff made my transition from Chicago easy and seamless. My unit was clean when I moved in and had no maintenance issues. So far I have had a great experience with neighbors, and the complex is quiet and tucked away.Would highly recommend!
Ivan: I moved into my apartment about a month ago and it's been nothing short of great so far. Starting off with the application process, Lucy was a great help throughout and always answered my questions in a timely manner.I never had a chance to tour the apartment prior to moving in, but I was blown away by how beautiful and well kept the neighborhood is. The interior is also great with lots of room. I had a few things that needed maintenance upon move-in and they were all fixed the next business day. The maintenance workers are friendly, timely, and do a great job.I also want to give a huge shout-out to the management and staff here as they are outstanding. I was greeted with a warm welcome when picking up my keys and it's clear all the staff are dedicated to making everyone feel comfortable and safe living here. They have been by far the best and most responsive residency team I've experienced. This is also an amazing location with the Monon trail accessible from the community, the highway nearby, and a big shopping area less than a 5 minute drive away.Overall I am very satisfied by the community, the management, and the location.
Brehanna Hogan: I love the process of applying and get moved in I had Tamitra Tatum helping me she was very professional and quick with responding and meeting my every need or request. I would definitely be recommending this property to anyone I know who’s looking.
Jorge Abdala: Excellent service. It’s a pleasure to live and work here.
Mohamed Hafil: I lived here between 2019-2021. Moved out to different state for workPros:1. Close to I465 and Monon walk.2. Maintenance was prompt.3. Nice community4. Loved the apartment layoutCons:1. Apartments are old with little renovations in place.2. Very few amenities mostly unavailable during Covid.3 Change of management led to increase in prices.Final words: Nice experience!!!!
Kirsten Holen: This has been the most responsive and on-top-of-things apartment complex I've contacted this year. The entire process for applying and moving in was given to me straight, and Lucy even worked with us when our (now previous) property management company was being unresponsive. After move in, Lucy continues to be responsive to any questions that we ask.Aside from a couple minor issues, the apartment is fantastic. The unit we are renting has updated appliances and countertops, along with central air. The landscaping is beautiful and we see no issues with trash or clutter outside.Thank you!
jose luis utrera tovar: I love living here cuz it has a pool to swim in
NASSIM YAHMI: It’s beautiful from the exterior don’t be fooled the whole apartments needs a renovation. It’s awful, They charge for everything even though you don’t have any implications for it, for instance pet control charges ?!!! Knowing that I never own a pet!!! Building fees where I have never witnessed they fixed any thing in the building…. The worst ever. Thankfully my lease is almost over I can move away….

Trails at Lakeside: what do users think?
Nick Peterson: Best management company I’ve dealt with! Had an issue with my fridge and it was fixed in a day. Thank you Natasha and Ebony!
Cory Bush: A Nice and quiet place to live
LaTasha Lee: changes in our biz hours were made after covid. 30 days later I call to check the status of my $125 being returned. No call back so 30 days later I call again and actually talk to someone NOT myra I explained to her she said she would speak with the manager and get back with me. NO RESPONSE. Yes it is just $125 but it is the principle. I am so happy I dod not move here if they arent organized enough to keep up with simple application items I can only imagine howThe rest of the complex is ran.
Grace Vega: i have only lived here for a few days but i love it. the apartments are very pretty and updated. i love the location. and ebony was an amazing help getting my roommate and i this place that we love so much. we searched for weeks and couldn’t get this place out of our head so when we decided to apply we immediately called ebony. she is willing and able to answer any question you might have. she is a very helpful and kind and patient woman and is very professional as well. i felt that she was going out of her way and going above expectations to try to get us the place we wanted. ebony is wonderful and will make the process as easy as she can for you.
Leann Trotter: Ebony Buckley has an amazing work ethic. Her professionalism made applying for the apartments so easy. She answered all my questions and concerns, plus she was always willing to help with a smile. Trails at Lakeside are truly blessed to have her as part of their team.
christina daniels: My experience was terrible . My parents buy into allt of management facilities like townhomes , house and other apartments over 10 states . This was my first apartment and by far the worst 1st experience . I wanted to become a investor of this facility and living in this area for a year has been the worst . The trash was always filled. The management office was always closed , the dryers in the facility were always broke . Maintenance would come and leave there mess. My water heater had to be replaced. During the winter i had to call multiple times about heat , while caring for my 2 month old son. They sent my last bill into collections luckily i’m filing to have it disputed and removed because the property manager never sent out proper information after i left my next address. This facility is by far terrible and deserve to be shut down .
Josh Blight: Review at 2.5 years, moving out: Overall, I am still happy with this apartment complex. It's a good place to live for the price. The staff in the front office are always courteous and helpful - even after move out.Review at 1 year: Just renewed my lease for a second year. I've had bad experiences in the past with apartment complexes, but I'm happy to say that I haven't had any issues here. The apartments are pretty nice. The staff at the front office are always friendly and helpful. The maintenance crew is professional and timely. Management is doing a good job here.
Gabriel King: I Would give a 0 if possible
Michael McGuire: AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!Absolute disgrace of an apartment complex. After your lease agreement is up they will fabricate arbitrary charges in their final attempt to scam you. Make sure to take a good look at your lease because you're going to need it to back up these so-called "standard apartment complex procedures" that will add up to an insurmountable charge on your final statement. It seems like they do this and just assume that people won't notice or question it. Don't even bother cleaning your apartment before moving out they will end up charging you for that as well. To get an idea they charged me $100 and I absolutely deep cleaned the entire place head to toe. Also, they charged me $5 for a dripping pan (the same one that was filthy the day I moved in) and $12 for a single-blind shade?!? Can't count on the front desk for anything productive and helpful. Absolutely no communication at all from the front office. Tried to call and work things out but no logical reasoning was offered. Despite this, I am still liable for these made-up charges that again were never stated in the lease agreement. Just find somewhere else...it will save you from the enormous headache you would've had if you signed a lease here. Terrible.
Mumeen Azad: The inside is fine but the lake is supposed to be showing not being covered up but trees. If they clean that area up then it will be a pretty
Jordan Steward: This apartment complex has a great location but don’t let that fool you. I stayed for two years at this complex in one of the bottom floor units. This was a mistake because the ceilings are so paper thin you can hear every sound the upstairs unit makes. The off duty policeman also attempts to solve residential issues as some sort of scare tactic. Also for COVID-19 related procedures this complex is highly misleading. I never missed a payment but when the front office was shut down they went to an appointment slot method to handle residential requests. Once I decided not to renew my lease all of my problems started. After I scheduled an appointment to not renew my lease which the only appointment time was after the 60 day mark. They waited two months and decide to charge an extra $300 due to me notifying them a few days after the 60 day mark. Mind you that I attempted to call 3 times to tell them I wasn’t going to renew. Myra in the front office often tells you one thing but Frank does the total opposite which I feel like he needs to assume more responsibility. Frank if you aren’t going to address the residential situations at the time they happen then you shouldn’t have the final say. He also has been known to hang up on residents that he doesn’t have a scripted answer for. Often times he waits until after the fact to try to strong arm people. However if you go to the regional manager he usually changes his view and also adjust prices of units for certain residents. Also Asked for my paperwork to be sent via email and I have yet to receive this information. Long story short if you want a great location but a misleading front office group Trails is the place for you.
Jarron Abdullah: Property Manage could careless about your living situation, maintenance is barely any good. Very biased and also discriminate and will be filing a law suit against the Apartments due to unprofessionalism and discrimination!
Norma Watkins: Very expensive, very cold all year long, they have a strange way or charging for utilities. You don't know what you're going to be charged each mth. Horrible 12 mths.
Mandi Brown: From online leasing to move in day, working with this team was seamless. They checked all the right boxes of what a leasing team should be. I’ve been in the property management industry for 6 years and Ariyanna was hands down the BEST leasing specialist I’ve encountered. I am really looking forward to this year and calling Trails home!
S Thomas: Arianna, thank you so much for being so professional. You made this move very easy during a very difficult time , patience is a virtue and you are a keeper. Love seeing you and your team practicing social distancing also🤗
Adam Willis: Trails at Lakeside appears to be a decent community from the outside; the neighbors are nice, the community is nice. The problem lies with the management from time to time. There have been maintenance requests that go several days without being answered, and phoned in towings so management can get a sweet $30 cut or however much their rebate is. And if you try to say something is unfair or seems out place, they go with this line:"There have been other people with this complaint and in the interest of being fair, we must disregard and do nothing about this issue".That is a horrible defense that sounds squeaky clean before you analyze it. Here's some problems with that generalization:1. Rarely are two situations the exact same.2. People are living in different situations. Just because one person can afford an additional $150 charge for you to make $30, doesn't mean every person can. Some people might be strung so tight that charge breaks them.3. For every action, there is a reaction. Some people react differently. This is a poor defense and I urge all residents that if someone ever says it to you, don't lay down the fight! Tell them your situation is different, because it absolutely is and you don't deserve to get looped in with "every other case like this".
Carly Ruehl: I've never left a review on anything before but I have loved my time at Trails so much I felt I had to. This apartment has been a dream for the past year. If I didn't need a garage, I wouldn't be moving. The apartments are the cheapest around for how nice they are. They are spacious with pretty nice amenities. It is in a great, safe location (other than the fact it is near the fire station; lots of sirens but it doesn't bother me). The front office has been nothing but helpful and polite any time I have needed anything. Maintenance is decent. They are kind but can sometimes take a bit to address your request. The grounds are always well taken care of and even salted when it snows! The community is super pet friendly! I've met some of the sweetest people at the dog park. My one negative would be the pool was closed for a large part of the summer, but things happen. I have loved my time at Trails at Lakeside and am sad to leave. Build some garages and I will be back haha!
Michele Taylor: Beautiful complex and wonderful staff. Ariyanna was very helpful and a delight to work with. You will not be disappointed living here.
Samantha Drinkwine: The pool which is one of the “highlights” here, has been closed the entire month of June and here we are the 6th of July and it’s still closed....They gave A WEEKS notice and forced me to do renovations during the middle of my lease, which I kindly asked them to wait. They coerced me, threatening fines and breaking my door down “at my own expense”. The renovations destroyed my apartment, my own property was damaged, multiple personal items destroyed by their carelessness and a complete chop shop. It’s been two weeks and I am still waiting to hear from this Lisa person who was in charge of the entire fiasco....I had to spend an entire day, moving all of my stuff around, an entire day where I couldn’t inhibit my apartment, an entire day just cleaning the debris, nails, plaster etc left behind.... Again, with only a weeks notice. It’s honestly the worst carpentry I’ve ever seen. I then had to listen to construction for days afterward. After they destroy your place, they then raise your rent $200 hahaha for less 500 square feet they want you paying almost a grand.... Living off 56th street what a joke. I wouldn’t suggest living here unless you have a lawyer on stand by.
Liz Ann: I actually feel that this is one of the best complexes that I have experienced throughout my renting lifetime. In the end, I had to move for reasons other than the quality of the complex or individual apartment. I wanted to give a heads up about certain complex details that are nearly unacceptable. All apartment complexes have their drawbacks. If it's not one thing, it's another. So, grain of salt.1. There are no sidewalks in front of the parking spaces. You have to walk through mud, puddles, grass, snow, ice, etc. to get to your car, daily. And, due to the style of apartment, you may have to walk around the building to get to your entrance from the parking lot.2. There is one trash "dumpster" for the entire complex. This is an issue because of the distance some units have to transport their trash on the hood or roof or trunk of their car, etc. It also smells to high heaven when it gets full or full plus. This is alluding to the fact that sometimes it overflows horrifically. The pergola and fence that surround the dumpster are an eyesore, seen much better days.3. Each building has four entryways/hallways. If you are lucky, the mailboxes are in yours. The mailboxes for the entire building are grouped together. If you want to check your mail daily, good luck. You may have to venture to the opposite side of the building on a regular basis.4. The fee structure is reminiscent of the airlines. I had to add approximately $60 each month for additional fees. I never had my apartment sprayed for pests, yet each month I paid a fee. The above mentioned trash dumpster/compactor had to be the reason for the trash fee. There were also sewer and water fees. Personally, I would have rather been quoted a firm price, either the fees inclusive or the fees additional at a set price. Each month, rent will vary.5. If your life is not certain (I am being sarcastic), beware. The fees for early departure are astronomical, unbelievable, and ridiculous. I had a family emergency and lost my job within weeks of each other. I was willing to pay to vacate. Not only was the price over double what I would have paid in rent anyway, I would have to pay the continued utility fees and IPL/electricity for the remainder of my lease. This would have applied even if the apartment was rented to someone else. If I continued to pay rent, but moved, I was told that it is considered abandonment. Seems only semi-legal. I understand that the goal is 100% occupancy and full term leases. Makes them seem uncaring and greedy.6. This last point is tricky. I never did get used to the fire engine sirens at all hours of the day and night. I should have known moving in, it never hit me until the first weekend, when the fire engine runs were throughout the night. I support the fire department and saving lives, it seem silly to complain about broken sleep. If you are aware of all of these issues and they don't matter to you that much, then I recommend the complex. While I would have stayed had I been able, I would not return to live there.Doesn't seem like I would rate if four stars, but the apartments are lovely and the location was near perfect for me. The staff were all friendly and helpful.
Stephanie Hancock: I lived here in 2015-2016 and the management at the time was the worst batch of "professionals" I'd ever interacted with. I believe there is new management/owners now, or at least I hope. For the Broad Ripple area, the price was average and okay. However, the neighborhood underwent some difficulties during renovations to the new apartments and I went without hot water for three days. Let me repeat.I went without hot water for THREE days. They claim to have 24/7 maintenance and all my calls went to voicemail. I filed a maintenance request online every day. Basically, I was paying to be illegally treated by an apartment complex. When the issue was fixed, they completely brushed it under the rug and did not hear or acknowledge my complaints, let alone the fact that I was heating up pots of water on the stove at night to clean myself before work the next day. Absolutely inhumane.I can only hope the new owners are the exact opposite of the prior ones. If so, this place is probably just fine to live at now. If not...ye be warned.
