But I had someone show up at my house in Lawrence County who is on house arrest in Marion County and I can't get anyone to do anything about it. This inmate proceeded to pull a knife on my husband it would be nice if Marion County kept better track of their criminals.
rick downs: I know of someone on probation, they have been for 3 months now. And they have been breaking their probation everyday and they are aware of it. Yet do nothing. I can see why Marion county is in bad shape with the drugs, and every things yes,. They all should be fired. All they are doing is collecting a paycheck

Suzanne Rees: First thing they said about the building was it's high tech. Then the jury pool is called 1 by 1 by voice you can barely hear in back. Then given a number on a post it. This is high tech? Seems super manual to me.
Scott Davis: Their staff not the sheriff's are horrible at dealing with people the building might be new but the c.os and everybody is the same from cca all the city did was build a brand new building still run by the Same irresponsible standard as the last place if you can avoid this place. it's a walking headache and half the staff don't even speak English good luck getting through to someone helpful

Padraig O Murchu: Facility is very good overall. Most things in design and in practice geared toward sheriff comfort. Sheriff has prime parking but keeps parking in the pickup/dropoff semi circle. All the time.
Erinn Weaver: This is a hard one. There are the good ones and then you got the not so good and then the bad. This includes officers or law enforcement and the people. No matter how you look at it though, at the end of the day we are all just regular people. No one is above the next. You have to be a really really good judge of character to make the right decisions in a way that is fair for everyone. You also should put yourself in someone else's shoes sometimes, which I know is very hard to do. There are mistakes there are accidents and there are crimes and there are also people with trauma and mental health conditions, along with physical disabilities and illnesses where things need to be assessed thoroughly. Not all people are bad. But the ones that are deserve the full extent of the law to be put upon them for whatever the crime they committed consisted of. I do not believe in putting every single individual behind bars without a very good reason. Something very wrong happened just the other day with one officer who made a poor decision and there was suffering for no real reason at all. But then there was vindication by the other officers that saw something did not quite add up or seem right. In the end Justice was served by the good for the good over the bad.
Mee Lun Moy: Everyone was very nice & helpful. The building was very clean & spacious.
Donald Sexton: Was there the other day for jury duty selection. Beautiful facility.
Livvy Owen: Tagged along with my bf to pay a ticket. The campus is pretty impressive, they have definitely spent plenty of money on it. There's plenty of parking - Makes me think they are under the impression that Indianapolis is going to grow quite a bit more / double in upcoming years. There seems to be emergency phones, or some type of notification system in case someone needs help in the parking lot. There's scooters inside, for the police to use in an emergency "to get around" and where they need to be quickly. There's technology as soon as you enter, which would allow you to add money for commissary or phone calls quickly & then leave. This is a drastic change compared to what it used to be. If you get a chance to visit it, I definitely suggest it.
Sassi Sweet: New jail same ol' whack Marion County system! Why are our loved ones going without things that the jail didn't provide? Why are your CO's so rude to people who aren't never rude to them? How does icare and commissary just disappear? If your loved one(s) are here please try your best to get them moved elsewhere if you can because the way they treat most of the inmates (especially those of color) is uncalled for and somewhat inhumane. I wonder if a nice letter to the Congressman or someone of his statue would suffice? They try to make it look good because of the "modern technology" they put in this place but it's still the same madness because of who's actually running it! I bet situations would be reevaluated if these we their loved one, they wouldn't go without anything and I'm more than sure of it! THIS IS RIDICULOUS! Don't sign up for a job that you're unable to do to the best of your ability!!! 0 STARS for the record!!

They know nothing of these parolees other than the information in front of them on paper. Parolees are just numbers to them and the job provides a pay check. They lie to the faces of families and the people they are overseeing. They need to go back and re take compassion 101.
Sara Jeffries: Ms. Horton is rude, disrespectful, acts like doing her job is a bother. I don't know how she keeps her job. Even other parole officers were suprised at her negative attitude. Terrible, who hires these people?

Nigel Barretto, Realtor: Visited the city/council building to check the permit on a commercial listing. The staff is friendly and more than helpful.
Jeff Smith Sr: I have no problems when ever i have to go to the city county building I'm in and out with in around 45- minutes i normally need to go to the 10- floor property taxes office and again I'm in and out in a reasonable amount of time, I'm pleased whin ever i have to go keep up the good work.

Jacob Dines: The observation deck has a great view, but the elevator ride there puts you in a very small room between elevators in order to get you to the top. It seems kind of sketchy. Also, it's really sad to see that this ugly building was built where a beautiful historic courthouse was even if it has a great view from the top.
