Indy Hound: what do users think?
Nicholas Prichodko: Best customer service I've ever experienced at a doggie daycare! My pup always comes home happy and well-taken care of!
Silas Franklin: I take a few of my dogs here often. I particularly appreciate how they took the time to evaluate my dogs to make sure they were in a safe environment. Dropping my dogs off doesn’t feel like daycare as they are happy to see familiar faces that call out their name and greet them as family. I would definitely recommend giving them a try.
Ava Fuller: I brought my four month old puppy to Indy Hound for her “introduction.” She has pretty bad separation anxiety and I informed them of that. After her being “introduced” to some of the other dogs, they turned her away because she “wasn’t showing interest in other dogs” and “staying along the wall” and that she was “too stressed” to stay. As a young dog, this was her first ever experience like this, so naturally it would be a stressful experience. It was really disappointing that they didn’t take the time to work with her. I took her to Downtown Doggie on a recommendation later, and they said that she warmed up after about 20 minutes of watching the other dogs, which shows me that she would have been fine if they had worked on with her.
Chad Sievers: Our dog Sophie loves Indy Hound. Every time I tell her that we’re going to see her friends, she’s all business and excited. The friendly staff remember her name and treat her like their own. When I pick her up, she often smells good too. We’ve been coming here for six months and are very pleased.
Ashley Meyer: We love taking our pups to Indy Hound! I love that they offer half days incase our little girl needs a shorter play day. Great staff, great pricing, and perfect location for a fun environment for your pup!
Andy Hegan: My golden retriever Cody loves coming here! He’s made so many friends
Mary Cerajewski: I picked my 8 month old Labrador up after a day of daycare to notice an hour later he was bleeding from his neck from a dog bite. I understand dogs can easily become injured playing, but this bite broke skin and was painful to touch. I emailed Indy hound and asked why I wasn’t notified of this and they claimed that no staff member saw any incident with him that day. Instead of encouraging medical attention, the staff recommended I let it scab over, or bring him back for a member of their staff to evaluate him (???). Fortunately, I was able to get him into the vet the next day. The vet found that it was a moderately severe bite that was already forming an infected abscess, he absolutely needed medical attention but luckily not need surgery. Indy hound did pay for my vet bill.As I mentioned, I understand injuries are normal at a dog day care, but this was more than dogs playing around. Bite aside, my 1 star review is around how the incident was handled by the staff. In addition to what was mentioned above, I also asked Indy hound to further investigate the dog that gave this bite to make sure it would not happen again to anyone else. They played it off as a little scrape and that if I am not comfortable with my dog getting these type of injuries I should not bring him back. I later learned that 2 others that brought their dogs there came home with similar injuries, some requiring surgery, and they received the same unapologetic treatment.I hope this review encourages them to expand and better train staff so these injuries aren’t missed so all dogs can enjoy a safe daycare experience!
Jamie Blake: I had an extremely negative experience at Indy Hound. We traveled into town last week and could not check in to where we were staying until late afternoon. We had already purchased tickets to the zoo for the same day we were coming in. I had talked to someone on the phone the day before and found out my dog was missing an influenza shot requirement (they are not required in my state), so I ran out at 5:00 that evening to get her a $50 shot so that our dog would be able to spend a few hours there while we were at the zoo.We arrived at Indy Hound after traveling through severe weather with a vomiting child. I was frazzled and so was the dog. She did not do well with her "evaluation" (which was really just taking her into a room with another dog -- they didn't do anything to evaluate her personality, friendliness, or ask any questions about her). The only question they did ask me as part of the "evaluation" was if she had ever attended doggie daycare before. When I answered "no", the attendant cut me off before I could explain that she has been well socialized with many other dogs on play dates and overnight, as well as been to the dog park many times. It was at that point I believe she made up her mind that my dog was not "suitable" for Indy Hound.I tried to explain our situation. I tried to explained why the dog was having a hard time. I tried to explain that she does really well with other dogs. I was not able to get one word out. Instead, I was treated like a child, constantly interrupted (I was unable to get a phrase out with out being told how well she knows dogs and how unsuitable my dog was for daycare). She absolutely would not hear anything I said, I don't know how she could have as she literally talked over me the entire time. It was as though what I was saying was absolutely unimportant and worthless. I've never been interrupted and talked over like that before.Ultimately we lost $50 in unneeded vaccine and $200 in zoo tickets because we had no place to take our dog. Our weather was so poor driving in and we got in so late in the afternoon that we could not find another location to take our pup (and they kept our vaccine record anyway!). I'm not sure that I've ever been so poorly treated in my entire life.
Cory Harbour: We LOVE LOVE LOVE Indy Hound. They’re all so caring of our pups and they know them all by name! They love being there and get so excited to jump out of the car when we arrive and pull me inside to play! I love how much they post to their Instagram during the day so I can always check in to see if they show up on it.
Molly Kelly: We love Indy Hound! My pup Murphy is always so excited when we arrive. We have used them for both daycare and boarding. They post a lot on their Instagram, so you're able to catch a glimpse of how much fun your dog is having. So glad we discovered Indy Hound.
Hannah Klare: Our 2-year old Golden Retriever, Dexter, absolutely loves Indy Hound. We have not only done all-day daycare, but we've also done boarding with Indy Hound. Both experiences have been fantastic. Not only does our pup enjoy the interactions with the other dogs, we know he is loved on, gets to play in the pool, and even gets treatos. We've had awesome interactions with all the staff there as well - they treat our dog like their own which is so important to us. 10/10 recommend.
Shayna Craft: I’ve been bringing my dog Nana to Indy hound since she was 6months old. She is a husky who is full of energy, so it’s crucial to get her socialized. She is always so excited to go to daycare. The staff is always so welcoming. They also post lots of pictures on Instagram. It’s so nice to see pictures of Nana playing with her friends. We have tried other daycares in the area, but this one is by far the best.
Brenda Martinez: Our dog, Javi, loves going to Indy hound! He started going when he was 4 months old to socialize him to other dogs and he’s been doing great :) we take him about once a week and the employees know him as soon as he walks in. Great place to get your dog to be active while you’re at work!
Rachael Thompson: My last three dogs have all attended Indy Hound. I work in veterinary medicine and there’s no other daycare I would trust to take care of my dogs. The staff are professional, kind, and very clearly love all of the animals they take care of on a daily basis.
Taya Franchville: IndyHound is Olli’s favorite place to go! The staff is always so welcoming to her and we’ve liked it so much, we started using their boarding services too. Their facilities are clean and the process of drop-off/pick-up is super simple and quick. They always tell us how she did during the day and if she played well with her friends! Last time we boarded her, it was for a little longer than normal and she had a bit of separation anxiety and got sick on her blankets. They told us about the situation, assured us it was no worry, and even washed her blankets for us! If you’re looking for a new daycare for your dog, this is the place! (Plus the Insta updates always make my day and I love that I can check on my pup while she’s having fun!) 🤩
Maggie Granatir: My dog Benji loves going to Indy Hound! He runs to the door each time! We have done daycare, boarding, bath services there and love them all!!! Couldn't recommend them enough!
Sydney Hartman: My dog Finn absolutely LOVES Indy Hound! I have been taking him a few times a week since he was 4 months old and it has helped with his socialization so much. I highly recommend Indy Hound for anyone who is looking for a dog daycare in downtown Indy. :)
Haley Scroggham: Biscuit loves Indy Hound! I feel safe and comfortable with her there. The naps after are also next level.
Danielle Addison: My dogs favorite place! I bring my dog Mojito here multiple times a week & he loves it/wears him out. Staff is super friendly & make everything enjoyable. Extra special is all the pupdates I get on social media. If you are looking for a great daycare downtown they are the best.
Emma Fernandez: Owen and I love indy hound! The staff there are so great and prices are very reasonable. We also love that they post on their instagram so that we can check on all our fur babies during the day. Owen will be spending his first weekend boarding this weekend and he is so excited!
Annette Baye: Indy Hound has been a god send for this first-time dog owner who decided to get a very energetic pandemic puppy. We’ve been consistently going for a year now, and my Isley absolutely loves it there! The staff is super friendly and I know I’m leaving Isley in good hands. Also, I love the flexibility they offer for paying as you go (half or full days) or by buying a prepaid package. Super helpful for people like me who have switched from working remotely to going into the office over the past year.

Patricia Morton: My puppy loved the time she spent at Puppy Playground and the staff was helpful and fun and caring. A wonderful experience!
Beth Olson (US): My pup loves Puppy Playground so much that he starts going crazy with excitement as soon as we pull onto 65th street! He comes home worn out and usually smelling much better- cuz they give him a bath too. The staff is wonderful! Been going here for years and even though I now live further away, we still go cuz it's worth the drive!
Jon Helgemo: So what my daughter is a K9! I wouldn’t trust her in anyone else’s daycare. 8 years strong I highly recommend Puppy Playground if your Pup has lots of Love to share.
Lauren Matson: We loveeee puppy playground! Wears my dog out and the staff is so friendly!
Susan Birndorf: Puppy Playground is the best! I take my dog, George, there several days a week with utter confidence. I recommend Puppy Playground without a single reservation!
Ellen Rashke: We love Puppy Playground! They are the sweetest staff and my pup is always so excited to go to "school"
Christopher Zazzetti: This place is great. They know who our dogs are as soon as I walk in.I literally have to pick our 100 pound dog up to get him back in the car to leave because he likes it so much.He doesn't want to. HahaGreat job everyone.

Debbie Bell: Wouldn’t take my dogs anywhere else. We’ve been going to Puppy Playground for over 10 years and they take such great care of all the dogs.
Shannon Bloomquist: Our 1-year-old ridiculously energetic Boston/Frenchie mix absolutely loves going to Puppy Playground!! She knows the words “Puppy Playground” and gets so excited when we tell her she’s going there for the day. She has so much fun mixing it up with so many other dogs, being able to bite bubbles and splash in water, and running in and out of doors as she pleases. She comes home exercised and happy. And when we board her at Puppy Playground while on vacation, we love knowing that she gets to play with other dogs all day every weekday and even for a few hours on the weekends so that she’s stimulated and well exercised while we are away. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. It’s the perfect place for hyper or overly active pups to get their wiggles out—highly recommend!
Anne McKinley: Frankie loves going to the Puppy Playground, he’s been going for over six years
Jennifer Milliner: My dog and I both absolutely love this place!! 5 years of joy and Good exercise for my girl. They are keeping her young too!
Lucy P.: My dog loves it here, the staff are wonderful!
Susan Stoler: Great!

Barkefellers - Indianapolis West: what do users think?
Melinda Phillabaum: Everyone seemed very friendly and loved what they were doing. Good organization.
Debbie Link: Great staff, amazing atmosphere!
Rachel Vest: Brought my dog in for grooming because my normal place was booked out and came home with kennel cough. I will never bring him back was overpriced and now my dog is sick avoid this place would give 0 stars if I could
Kurt Walton: I am a current guest of Extended Stay America Hotel next door to Barkefellers and I would not recommend this place. The alarms go off all the time at night and there is not a night staff to tend to the dogs. I have seen a few staff members from my window strike the dogs. I would recommend taking your doggies to a better place.
Lacey G: 99% of the posts from March 29th are about a x employees social media post. All the 5 stars are from employees and the 1 stars are from people who believe everything they see on the internet. I saw the post and was concerned since we were scheduled to take our dogs on the 31st. I commented on one of them and the owner called me the next day to address my concerns. He said we were welcome to check out the facility at any time. After our call I decided to go ahead and take my dogs. They were perfectly fine and I felt they were well taken care of. We will be using them again 4 days next week. I always prefer them to be with me, but sometimes they just can't and I trust barkefellers to take good care of them. If you're reading reviews to see if this is a safe place to take your dogs I recommend you just stop in and ask for a tour so that you can see how the place is on any random day.
Kyra Roquet: Amazing place! Staff are very friendly, place was clean, and my dog absolutely loves going to pet sitting there. At first she failed her temp test, but the manager kindly explained that she was too scared and to slowly familiarize her with such a new place. Love love love it!
Rachel McDuffie: Treat the animals terribly. Please take your doggo’s elsewhere
Diane Sharp: Be aware of local west side community Facebook pages sharing horrific images and reviews of this place. A current employee couldn't take it anymore and posted pictures of feces covered animals..filthy kennels. A former manager who quit confirmed that employees are lax, animals are not well cared for so she moved on to start her own pet sitting. Numerous people who had used them once and never again posted their bad experience here.
Ali Chumley: DO NOT board your dogs here. They tend to leave animals in their cages with pee and their own feces. They also leave the dogs overnight with no overnight staff, this is very dangerous. Too many horror stories of dog’s not being treated right.
D S: Do not bring your dog here! They will neglect them.
amanda bowman: DO NOT LEAVE YOUR PET HERE!!! This poor baby was left covered in feces inside a kennel that was also covered in feces and very few employees cared. If you must leave your baby with someone find a more reputable place to leave them. Don't let them be neglected the entire time they're there.
Brianna Cybella: Place needs shut down.. owners very unprofessional and try to cover up neglect of animals.
caity bot: They leave their dogs in filthy kennels for hours, refuse to properly bathe them when they inevitably get digustingly coated in their own feces, and the owners don’t seem to care or find this a problem. When employees bring this up, the owners completely ignore the issue and refuse to bathe the dog properly if they’re not being paid to do so, leaving employees to shoddily try and bathe them with a hose.Shame on them.
m a: I was honestly worried with boarding My cat Elhpie and My dog Rover here as it was my first time leaving them at a pet hotel while I went on vacation. Fortunately, it was the best decision ever to leave my pets at this place. The service was amazing. Everyone was so patient and understanding not only with me as a first-time customer but with my kids as well. It’s hard to believe what these reviews are talking about, especially since my friends recommended me this place.
daniel ryers: Had excellent service, everyone was very sweet and helpful!!! The best pet hotel i’ve ever taken my fur babies to!! Hope they get over this huddle and ignore the hate going on!!! This place deserves more than 5 stars for sure.
taylor miller: First of all, all these randomly back to back 5 stars seem very odd like they’re fake lol. Secondly this place is clearly awful -feeding peoples animals the wrong foods when they have special food needs. & leaving animals covered in their own feces. Animal neglect! DO NOT TAKE YOUR FUR BABIES HERE! How sad…. & shame on you guys! Should be shut down!
Andre Diaz: Best groomers and staff around! I’ve had both my dogs Tigre and Benji groomed here. Madison does an amazing job with Tigre, and Nico has always been so patient with my boy Benji. Wouldn’t go anywhere else!
alandra delarosa: 👎👎 don’t trust them
Audrey Fredette: Managers need to be fired. They treat dogs horribly. Do NOT bring your pets here
Matt Stinson: Witnessed some of the most heart wrenching conditions one could bare to see.... The reviews are going around the media outlets (Facebook, Twitter, etc...) with the pictures attached, along with one of their own employees quitting her job for the same reason I'm leaving this review. (A few up there care, but most just see it as a job....)
Chuck Terrell: The last stay, our pet was not given ANY of the treats we provided. It's hard telling what else they didn't do.Then today, they called to cancel our appointment we made weeks ago, saying it was a mistake. We have movers coming and are moving out of state, we had no other options. The manager said she would find a place for her. My wife arrives with our dog and she tells her they can't do it. We had to come up with a solution to have her get a spa day and stay in the spa. I hate being lied to like that. Avoid this location or Barkafellers all together!!!

Downtown Doggie: what do users think?
Anthony Robinson: Walked into very welcoming atmosphere. Dogs were serviced with a smile. Great location
Brent Hall: Love the team at Downtown Doggie! They take amazing care of my almost 17 year old senior dog. He loves going everyday! They are great for boarding and grooming too!
Kate J: First time boarding anywhere. Apparently I should have asked WAY more questions. Seem unorganized and most staff were unfriendly and unhelpful. (Bethany was VERY helpful. Bright spot!) They couldn’t find my info. Then they had the wrong phone number on it. They offered to give my dog a bath and then just didn’t. I wasn’t charged for it but…they offered. My dog has marks on his mouth that suggest he’s had his face stuck between the cage bars for three days. Hadn’t been paid much attention. There’s more - Just lots of “small” things that added up to a not-great experience.
Sharon Logan: We will always bring our new dogs here for training! 10 out of 10
Roger Kennedy: Owen, my pup didn't really like to go to other places...he LOVES this place, if he approves, then I definately do...
Sue B: Best dog place in Indy. Owners are very experienced. I am never concerned about my dog, Jody, when she is there, whether for day care or an extended stay.
Arturo Contreras: Amazing place, fantastic staff, friendliest owners. Our dog loves it and is paired with other canines that match his energy level.Boarding is a breeze and always exemplary service.
Shane Weinbrecht: We love taking our dogs here for overnight stays as well as weekday play times.
Maggie Williams: We’ve been taking our dog Miller to Downtown Doggie for the last 2+ years. After first adopting him we sent him to the board & train program and it was one of the best decisions we made. Upon picking him up, all the areas we were hoping to have been focused on were addressed and his basic obedience was great. We also use downtown doggie for daycare. Every time we drop Miller off, the staff knows him by name & is so kind. It’s clear they take the time to get to know each dog (name, personality, etc.).Miller absolutely loves Downtown Doggie - he gets so excited when we pull on to the street, and can hardly sit still in the lobby waiting area. Downtown Doggie is also our go to for boarding. It’s so comforting knowing we are leaving Miller somewhere he loves and where the staff knows him. The entire staff has always been so friendly, accommodating and gracious.
Guest Kim: My heart is still skipping because my dog played with other dogs at Downtown Doggie. The staff took care and time to slowly introduce my reactive dog to other dogs. I had tears of joy when I came to pick my dog up from daycare. They gave me a very good report. Downtown Doggie is my third day boarding and the only place that Tommy was able to play with other pups. He’s had private training and group training with little change to his reactivity to other dogs. This was a huge mile stone. Thank you downtown doggie for helping my adopted dog with that huge step. I will continue to take him to daycare and training at Downtown doggie.
Hilary Slothower: The facility is very clean and the staff are very friendly. Will recommend to family and friends.
Beth May: Very upset that I paid for our puppy to get obedience training, but she was sick and the vet said not to take her around other dogs. I asked the owner if I could put her in the next class, and she said , no. No refund either. That was $200 down the drain, and no customer service.
Hallie Franco: Super clean and quality care. Will always return
Jared Kraft: Love Downtown Doggie! The staff are great and my dog loves going to daycare!
Zach Baker: Absolutely love this place. Great price and staff to match
allison mccloud: First time taking our pups here and we will not be returning customers. One of our dogs came home with kennel cough and both of them came home with fecal matter stuck all in their fur. Beware of boarding your pups here.
Matthew McClure: Our go to destination for daycare, grooming, and boarding. They enjoy what they do and take great care of our dog Addie.
Bev “Bev” Stein: Very nice place and staff was extremely helpful and friendly.
Adam Ramser: Just picked up my dog from 3 nights boarding and he has multiple wounds scratches and swollen areas on his face neck eye brow . Acting like he's starving and hasn't been out to walk run . When I called them to ask about it she said she forgot to inform me that he scratched himself while they were doing his nails. Ause they had him muzzled ?! These are way worse than scratches . one nail was still half cut off hanging splintered ! When I picked him up from pet palace he never acted this way . I'm taking him to his vet and will be updating this review with the news.
Amy Dockter: What a lovely place! The dogs are amazing and the people are ok too lol!
ryan clem: Nico's favorite doggy daycare!

Puppy Playground: what do users think?
Ryan Romack: Legit 5 star business - the people are friendly, helpful and also genuinely develop an understanding and relationship with your furry buddies. My youngest dog, Mr. Auggie Mondo, adores this place and starts "talking" to me anytime he hears the words "playground". Great place!
Hassen Hammoud: My dog simply loves going to the Puppy Playground. Once I get him inside, he barely knows that I exist anymore. My dog is very social and loves playing with other dogs. The prices are not too high, and they offer a lot of great services you can buy while your dog stays there. If the dog stays for a week, they will even throw in a free bath. He always comes back nice and clean and smelling pleasant. I love that after picking him up from a stay that my very hyper active dog just chills and sleeps in whichever room I'm in. The staff are very friendly and always helpful. If your dog loves to play with other dogs, this place can't be beat.
Eugene Kinney: Love this place and the service the girls that work there are awesome they even helped me in my situation with two geese who got hit. These people are great
chris chapman: My dog is a new rescue pup and has been very shy. The ladies took very good care of her and by the end of her visit was playing and having a ball with the other dogs. Very positive experience !
Michaela Moyer: Our pup is always so excited when we pull into the parking lot! Staff is super nice and helpful, and our boy is so tired when he comes home

They kept me updated throughout the day and answered all my questions. Beau had a great first day and is excited to go back!!
Antonio Ward: Dropped dogs off for initial evaluation. Staff was polite and dogs had a good time. Would definitely come back.
Jessica Mitchell: Absolutely love it here. The staff was very helpful and kind. Both of my labs LOVED it. I was very nervous leaving them for the first time, but was at ease when I saw the pictures of both my pups smiling. Such a great place.
Crystal Wilmot: The staff was friendly and shared a list of things my puppy did during the day along with other dogs he met. I also received pictures of him. He looked extremely happy and went to sleep as soon as he got home. I can't wait to take him again.
Dawn Purcell: Puppy Playground is wonderful! The staff is terrific & genuinely cares about all the dogs left in their care. My dogs go for doggie daycare as well as boarding when needed & they love the extra activities the staff plans each month! Highly recommend!
Nicole Rea: So happy I found Puppy Playground! They have been wonderful to my puppy, Nicco!
Alexandra Stefansson: I love this daycare! The staff always make sure the dogs are well taken care of & they have the best puppy parties. :)
Phyllis Gilworth: Puppy Playground in Avon is the only place we trust to take care of our Boxer fur babies. Our girls, Elphie and Nessa, come up once or twice a week to play with their buddies and board when we are traveling. They seriously almost knock us down trying to get into the facility. That’s how happy they are to see everyone ❤️

Lucky Dog Retreat: what do users think?
Nikki Deimling: Love the web cams. Dog has a great time at doggie daycare!
Monique: Save your money to train your fur baby best to watch YouTube videos, this is not worth spending money on. The trainer talked the first two weeks of training. Not worth the money.
Karen Luerssen: Great place, great folks!
debra boutwell: Very laid back but professional. Nice phacility. Attentive employees.
Frank Swindler (Mobile): Very friendly staff. Our dog seems to enjoy her stays. I recommend their boarding service.
Izzy H: One of the best daycares I’ve found! I used to work in the dog daycare/boarding industry so I am usually a very annoying pet parent with the standards I want for my dog. Lucky dog has made it easy. Larry loves going and has the best time! He even knows the route now and gets excited when we turn into the parking lot. I’m so thankful they understand pitbulls and how to work with them during playtime! I send a lot of my dog training clients to them and have heard nothing but great things!
Jennifer Bostrom: We love this facility and the people are all the nicest and amazing. We don't hesitate to board our dog here because we know he'll be taken care of and treated well. I love being able to check in on him periodically through the webcams.
Paul Hughbanks: Have 1 granddaughter working there now a 2nd granddaughter had interview to possibly start working there also 1st jobs
Corbin Jarvis: Adopted the best dog ever from them.
Tee: My dog loves going here and gets so excited when we pull in the lot. The staff is super friendly and they keep it clean and safe. Prices are very competitive. Highly recommend!
Antonio Rodriguez: It's just the best place for you to take your pets
Christy Hardaway: Adopted our puppy boxer from Robin and her wonderful staff. Dogs are Lucky there is a "Robin"❤️
David Scherb: Super place. All the staff is there because they love animals. Had my incorrigible dog's nails trimmed at the clinic and took a quick tour of the premises. Very clean facility and all the pets were being well cared for and loved.
Chris Bowen: The owners are SO knowledgeable about dog training and have helped me with my rescue Pointers who are high energy and one was so frightened from abuse that it was almost impossible to find a way to help him overcome his anxiety. We couldn't have done it without their help!
Ally Bright: Lucky dog retreat does an amazing job with my moms dog! I drop him off for doggy daycare a few times and they always know his name as we walk in! He goes for daycare sometimes and my mom loves watching him on the camera. We signed up our young dog for lessons soon and I’m looking forward to those lessons! They are reasonably priced!

Barkefellers: what do users think?
Christion Hall: Horrible place never trust your babies with them
frankie galley: Care for the animals, seeing reviews on facebook of animals being mishandled and not taken care of. absolutely disgusting
Joseph Healy: My main issues center around not feeling like this place actually cares about my dog. My wife and I bought the 10 day daycare pass and we have used 6 of them. At the end of the day whenever I ask how she was or how she did, the staff can't answer that question and say they don't know. Frequently I'm standing in the lobby waiting for about 5-10 minutes while others pick up their dogs in a fraction of the time. When I've asked what takes so long, they claim that they can't find her because she's a different color than is normal for her breed. The place is very big and very nice, but at the end of the day, it feels like they just don't care about your dog the way other daycares in the past have shown they do.
Bret Williams: Dog never slept a wink
Brant Davis: Expressed other options but overall was helpful.
shelly hamrick: Love Chrisy. She is the best. My dog loves her.
Marvin Brannaka: Organized and secure caregivers for your dog.
charles dale: My only complaint is they lose our dog toys. Happen twice now. Our dog is a strong chewer so we have to invest in expensive chew toys. The last time he was only boarded for 24 hours.
Amanda Finin: Me and my pup love this place! The staff has always been super friendly and helpful. My dog does like being in a crate so I was so worried how he was going to be the first time I bored him here. After picking him up I received a report card for him and they told me he got lots of attention from the staff and did great! I love that this place offers a variety of services. It makes it so easy for me. My pup just finished up level 1 day school for obedience training and I feel like he is a completely new pup and the trainer empowered me to feel more in charge of my pup. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a doggie daycare, boarding place, or grooming service!
German Alejandro Russi: Ok just okay, he or she left water in one of teddy’s ear what a mess and extra cost
Anthony Island: I've taken my dog to the Northeast and South locations. My dog always has a great time. The people working at both locations are always quick to great when you enter the building. Everyone is friendly, kind, professional, and attentive to me and my dog.
Sarah Smith: Izzy loves to go play.
joseph Armstroff II: They always do so well with our fur baby even when she struggles with anxiety issues
Amanda Caito: I really had high hopes for this place and I was pretty disappointed…the facility itself is very clean and beautiful and the lady who contacted me on the phone was so very sweet and helpful. Very friendly in getting my dog set up. However, my experience In person was far from that when I brought my fur baby in for pet sitting. The staff were so apathetic and didn’t seem to want to try. Idk where the nice gal on the phone went bc she wasn’t there at all. I had asked how my dog had been that day and no one could answer. That was a red flag. My dog was obviously dehydrated so no one must have given her access to water. Her pee was super dark and she chugged two bowls of water when we got home. She reeked too. Idk what she was laying on but I’m going to have to take her to the groomer it’s so bad. I don’t think anyone took her out because she had a big bathroom break before we got in the car and had a large accident when we got home. She hasn’t been herself the whole evening extra wound up, impulsive, and skittish. No reports on the day on their portal, no photos or live stream available for the location, and no one could tell me what happened today. My dog can’t tell me what happened and if she was treated right. Again, I wanted to like this place but I don’t think I’ll be back.
sewa bhatt: A1 service. The groomers are great.
Danielle Gross: So, overall I’m not happy with my experience and I won’t be bringing our two pups back. Initially my first conversation with this location was great with booking and helping me with our time constraints. I had to go to on an unexpected work trip and my spouse was already on one. Our girls were going to be there for a day and a half and pick up around three. I was told the best thing to do is to book them for a bath later in the day and that will extend their stay. A basic bath is $20 per dog and I agreed to that. I was also told they were being booked for a temperament test for the second morning of their stay. One at 8 and one at 9am, so they can get some play time and then a bath after. I got home from my trip earlier than expected (9am) and decided not to pick them up so they could play in group. Come to find out upon picking them up they did not do a temperament test or play group and my baths are $45 a piece for a basic bath. They just got groomed last week so there was no reason to pay that. It cost me $191 for a day and a half. I’m frustrated because your pricing was not accurately quoted and you didn’t do what you said you would.
Darla Dutton: I feel sorry for any precious pet left there.Look up Darla Dutton vs BarkefellersSmall claims court Indianapolis!!!
Amanda Kowal: UPDATE - This is in reply to Barkefellers response below - I spoke to Julie on Friday, and she was the one who told me my dog would be “accommodated” in extended daycare the rest of the stay. Nothing changed even after speaking with Julie. Clearly there is no follow through, even after complaints and promises to rectify.REVIEW - Boarded my dog in a luxury suite, which advertises the suite includes All Day of Play (MORE than five hours in daycare a day). I was very clear prior to booking that not having my dog stuck in a room for hours was very important to me, and I would prefer to book somewhere else if they couldn't guarantee he wouldn't be. I was reassured he would be in daycare the entire duration daycare was open, with the exception of meals. First day, they have him back in his room for the day at 3pm. I called to ask what was going on, and was told that because their daycare was so booked, ALL of the boarding dogs are only permitted to be in daycare from 10-3. The rest of the time they are in their rooms. For comparison, per their own confirmation to me prior to booking, daycare is open 6:30a - 6:30p Monday - Friday, and 8:30a - 6p on the weekends. I was obviously very upset by this, and was told my dog would be allowed to be in "extended" daycare for a one-time accommodation (though their own website advertises the suite comes with a full day of daycare, and I was told that prior to booking?). Next day I check the cameras, and, again, my dog is back in his room for the day by 4p (and, again, he didn’t leave his room until 10a). Morning I picked him up, I didn't see anyone come in to take him out to go potty, and he was pacing back and forth in front of the door and scratching at the glass. I checked the cameras again shortly after (around 9:45a) and could very clearly see a large puddle of pee on the ground. My dog hasn't had an accident in years, and the size of the puddle indicates to me that he had the accident because, by 9:45, he still had not been let out. Absolutely will not be going back here again.
Rita Marie: Great atmosphere and the workers are so friendly. My dog had razor burn at a different groomer before so I was so glad finding this awesome place! They took note of my dogs trauma and he looked the cutest I’ve ever seen him after being groomed.
S. Warren: We love taking our animals here out of convenience but the ppl that work here are just SO RUDE 90% of the time it has made us question whether it’s worth it. The venue does seem nice and clean, and our pup loves going to stay.
Robert “Bopper Indy” Koehne: My best buddy Tag love the staff. The facilites are always clean. I even like to stop in during daycare to check on my buddy. The staff loves their guests. Grooming services are fantastic. Tag loves to get his nails trimmed and a good spa treatment.

Zionsville Country Kennels: what do users think?
Matthew Munz: Staff is amazing and Roxie loves her days there !
Amy Blackford: Great place for our pet to stay! She was happy, which made us happy! And we loved getting daily updates with pictures!!
Jim McGovern: Great people that care about your pet.
James Wood: I expressly stated when dropping our Bernese Mountain Dog off that she was only to be bathed and clip her nails. We had entered conformation shows for the weekend and just wanted her freshly bathed. They ignored our instructions and cut all of the feathering off her hocks making her look ridiculous. All of the training and planning we had done went down the tubes, along with the entry fees. She will not be showable for months. Avoid at all costs. I am just sick at what they did.
Sarah Toler: We recently took our 4 month old puppy to the Zionsville Country Kennel for the first time for a long weekend. They sent us pictures, and he looked like he was having the best time playing with other dogs. I know he’ll have a great time when he returns in the future, and it makes me feel great knowing he’s well taken care of!
Lou and Rita Turner: Had my 2 dogs there last week boarding . It's just had to spend money at vet cause addeline is really sick from kennel cough .
Stacey Vitale: The staff at Country Kennel are always helpful, pleasant and care greatly for our two dogs. They even make accommodations for my larger anxious Goldendoodle so that he can enter the kennel for grooming without seeing the other dogs. Makes all the difference! Thank you for your fantastic grooming services!
Edita Newton: Easy drop off and great communication when our dog was ready. His grooming is impeccable - were very happy!
Michael Milewski: Val has been taking care grooming my dogs for 17 years. Excellent results.
Norma Bledsoe: Very friendly, and takes good care of my cat.
Jaclyn Marker: We’ll definitely be taking our pup back for grooming and we’ve already looked into the bark park and doggy daycare! This was our first time taking Bentley to get groomed here and Lucia did a wonderful job! She was sure to be patient with him since he’s only 5 months old and getting used to getting groomed regularly. They explained that for Bentley to be approved for doggy day care and the bark park he had to pass an assessment which we have set up an appointment for. It seems like they really take every precaution to be sure every dog and person is safe in group play areas which I value greatly since deciding that Bentley needs to socialize more often with different tempered pups! Every staff member I interacted with was friendly and thorough with any questions that I had! Would highly recommend taking your pups here!
Barbara Summers: At 80 we have a new puppy- oh my he has so much energy. It was recommended we take him to ZCK for interaction with other dogs. He loved his experience but was exhausted-we’ll be back soon. Thank you to the attentive staff and handlers who obviously love what they do. 🤗
Rob Pinder: The team is really dedicated to take care of your pet. They have the kennel section and the “doggie day care” section. My dog always gets excited when she realizes she’s going to spend the day there. The kennel does get full during holidays, so make sure to make your reservation well ahead of time.Edit: today she went for a grooming and they did a fantastic job.
Becky Liu-Lastres: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Responsiveness,Value
Carsen McKee: We love taking our dog hank here! He always has a good time playing in the field and occasionally getting muddy. This time on our stay we opted in for daily report cards and looked forward to updates with pictures everyday that we were gone.
Amanda Beam: When we leave town and have to board our Maggie, ZCK is the only place we go! She loves it there. They take such good care of her, and we couldn't appreciate them more.
Heather Mckinney: They are wonderful and our dog is exercised and exhausted when we pick her up. Love it!
Annette Springer: The staff is always friendly. My dog is a rescue and still very skittish and shy, they took that into account and were very attentive to my dogs needs while she was there to be groomed. I have always had a positive experience there and would recommend them.
Katharine Schlotterbeck: Staff is always responsive and comforting of my dog mom nerves! I feel very assured that my dog is loved on and gets a lot of play time when he is kenneled there! He also is groomed there and is known after the second time! He loves day care. I love the grounds and the fun he has!
Thomas Richardson: Best boarding kennel around. Always feel safe leaving our dogs there. They are just as happy to be dropped off as picked up!
Theresa Hunt: The staff is wonderful to our playful but skittish dog.
