Joshua Nixon: They had so many great selections and asked if we needed anything multiple times while looking around. They even had a good deal for the items I got, I recommend to collectors casual and hard-core!

They had a good selection of pre-owned and new 1:6 scale Hot Toys.Also, they have a great selection of Transformers, Star Wars, GiJoe, and other toys we grew up with in the 70’s - 90’s.Worth a visit wether you are visiting Indianapolis or live in the metro area.

Bruce Secor: To say The Toy Pit is amazing & fantastic seems a bit inadequate - I think we need some new adjectives! I've been buying there a few years now & it's a great place for a life-long Trekkie like me; they got even better with the move to their new, much larger space. I've been collecting Star Trek for 30+ years & it's become difficult to find items I don't have but Toy Pit always comes thru. I was there today & found a couple items at the parking lot sale & a couple more in-store. As always, Mike the owner & Stockton the manager were terrific, very knowledgeable & helpful. Today was one where they surprised me with a couple Trek items I didn't have & immediately bought. As someone who has collected for years, buying online & at other shops around the country, I find their prices reasonable & competitive; as the signs in the store say, if you want to negotiate a price, just ask them. I've always received excellent customer service there & I'm happy I live only a couple miles away. Live Long And Prosper! 🤓🖖

Kwaaazy Kupcakes: The Toy Pit is a MUST VISIT for whenever you're looking for something specific or if you're just browsing and want to find something unexpected. They have WAY TOO MUCH to look at-Funko Pops, Action Figures, Pokémon cards, Barbies, Classic Horror figures, Anime, Superheroes, Star Wars...anything you can think of-THEY HAVE IT! We're always greeted when we come in and they're willing to help you if you ARE looking for something specific. We've never been disappointed with their selection. They buy/sell toys, their prices are reasonable, and everyone in there is friendly and knowledgeable-which is great for casual buyers or serious collectors. If you haven't been here yet, please give them a try! They have WAY too much...take some off of their hands...I know we try as much as we can 🤣

jamie c: I used to love trading and shopping here with D but since that red-headed guy has basically become co-owner he treats people like they don't know anything nothing they have is a value and he sure doesn't know anything about comic books been trading with D for years and buying and redhead told me I couldn't walk with a small box around the shop out of fear that I would steal something and that's not the only complaint many of us collectors have had similar run-ins with this guy's unprofessional behavior. If you're dealing with D it's a collectors find.

However when the other guy is there without the owner (on Monday) and we’re told that we can’t sell there until Wednesday was news to us. Drove all the way down to Franklin where we sold our POPs and much more. Missed out on some good inventory.

B K: Nice selection but charges e-bay prices, and not even the "sold" prices but the "listed" prices. So kind of a downer to find cool stuff that's priced above fair market value, sometimes way above. Still cool place to see but I'm into buying not just looking at museums.

un known: Target is a little on the expensive side but they have some nice clothes plus they had a sale going and that made the clothing much more affordable

Ryan Chaffin: I went to this location because another location told me they had an item in stock. So I made the drive over only for 2 different employees to tell me it's in the back and that they won't go get it. Customer service is not up to par. I know the store could care less if I shop there again, but definitely will not be. If it was an item they needed or wanted they'd go get it. I worked for a target before and at the time they went above and beyond for "guests" but apparently they don't have the same values.

Dan Hoffman: I used to love shopping at this store before the pandemic and only returned tonight just to browse and shop. Normally, I would comment on customer service and staff attitudes in a review. However, this is impossible with this Target because, except for people doing shelving and opening boxes, there are no staff to interface with. When I got to the check out line, I stood along with about 30 others waiting my turn to self check out. This store is giving off all the vibes of an establishment on the verge of closure, something that I would not be surprised to see happen within a year or two. As a person who used to love the Target brand and how it differentiated itself from KMart, I was very disappointed with my shopping experience and won't be returning to any Target store. There are other places to shop without being forced to stand in line with thirty others to check myself out. Looking at Washington Square, I am saddened. A once vital and vibrant shopping center has been brought low. Target is this shopping center's last gasp.

Jaycee Neubauer: Tried to take my son to build a bear for his birthday and they were shutting a gate as we were going in. When we asked what time they closed, one of the workers replied “right now”. It was 6:53pm. No signage anywhere as to why they were closing and online it states they are open until 8pm. When we kept asking what time do they close she kept just repeating “right now” and never telling us why they are closing. Then we called, asked the same questions about store hours and she hung up the phone. I wish there was one closer so I did not have to go back.

Alexis J: My husband was going there to pick up an order and a lady named Aisha was so very rude. I even called to see if I could figure out what the issue was and If I could help resolve it, and she was so rude to me on the phone. She refused to look at our order number and check for our order despite the website saying my order was ready for pickup at anytime. She told us that they didn't sell what we bought in store, despite the website saying otherwise. She was so rude to me and my husband and I'm just glad my kids weren't there at the time.
Morgan Price: Very bad experience. Amber was extremely rude to customers and degrading to her staff. We waited for 10 mins for Amber to be finished doing something at the back counter for her to check us out. We were the only people in line and we asked her if we could check out and we were told to wait. The way she spoke to her staff (I’m assuming she was a manager) was truly awful.
K C: After hearing about ANOTHER shooting at the Castleton Mall that this Build a Bear is located inside of I'm wondering what precautions are you taking to keep these toddlers and children safe??? I took my grand daughter to this BAB location 6 days ago for her 3rd Birthday and had to stand outside the store with her in a line for over 30 mins in the mob of people walking back and forth. Now knowing that this could have happened that day I am absolutely disgusted! I've seen what they are considering "security" at this Mall and it is a joke. If you are planning a trip to this Build a Bear location you may want to reconsider for your childs safety and shop online.

Pam Robinett: We went there for my granddaughter's birthday so she could get her birthday bear We abided by the rules of the sign that was at the door that you had to wait to be brought in We had one lady approach us and tell us we could not bring our drinks in but she did not offer to go ahead and bring us in so we threw our drinks away and then we just kept standing there and finally someone else came over and told us that we could go ahead and walk in just not very friendly The only one that seemed to be really friendly was the one lady that was actually stuffing the bears she has waited on us before when we were there and she's always very nice and friendly made you feel welcome and that you belong. I do hope that if we should happen to go back that it's a little different experience
katie zeiger: Build-A-Bear will NEVER get my business again. After a visit today where employees visited on their off day dressed as furries, I will not be back. The employees encouraged them to play peek a boo with children whose parents were visibly uncomfortable. Walking around the store shaking their “tail.”When checking out, they refused to talk to tell their coworker their phone number and because of the paws they were wearing they couldn’t even show numbers with their hands. A friend had to pull their number up on their phone to relay to the cashier. I wish I could make this up.
Beatriz Espinoza: I wish I was writing a nicer review because one employee does not reflect the entire place. However, this was the manager, name Amber she was super rude. First, she didn't acknowledge me at the register. I have to say excuse me. Then when she was checking me out not once did she ask anything got the bear check me out I paid and said thank you. I said don't you put them in a box she said we don't. I said do you have boxes she proceeded to say yes but they are 1 dollar and 3 for gift box. I said gift box and I said I wish you would have told me when I checked out so that I could have only made one transaction. She checked the box out. And I paid. So 1 start for poor customer service.

asapanxiety: Been here for 4-5 straight with my daughter to build a birthday bear with her and have had coffee in my hands every single time. Ten minutes ago, I got told by a Build A Bear worker that I had to throw the coffee I just bought away or chug it if I wanted to enter. Yikes. Not good for business, considering there’s a Starbucks twenty feet away in the mall.
