Luis Torres: I NEVER give max stars on anything. I figure there's always room to earn that last star. Except for Indy CD & Vinyl. Great selection, range of prices, variety of media, cool knowledge staff. And it's in the heart of Broad Ripple Village, so a variety of coffee shops, restaurants, delis and bars within walking distance. This is the place in Indy for your music needs.

Drake Cloin: This place is a tucked away, inconspicuous gem right in the middle of a popular Irvington intersection. The attention to detail and use of every single space of the shop to display vintage goods, including records, tapes, clothes, cds, VHS, books, and almost anything in between is amazing. You can wander here for hours taking in the art that is the space itself, but then adoring art and literature from a plethora of local artist in plenty of different mediums to be found in every nook and cranny that is Irvington Vinyl & Books. Be cautious, however, as a predator is lurking quietly beneath and around you as you turn corners, and you would not want to miss dropping down and visiting the adorable cat that inhabits the space.

Jordan Steinmetz: This is my absolute favorite bookstore. The owner and staff are all extremely friendly and helpful. My wife and I order nearly every book we read from here. Even when I’m not picking up an order, I love stopping by just to peruse the selection. Great vibes and excellent people. Even my kids like coming along to check out the children’s section (and try to find the cat). I intentionally avoid the vinyl section because I could easily spend a small fortune on the great records available. Stop by and support a small business doing great things for the community!

Vicente Villanueva: Don’t go here and try and sell your vintage records they will low ball you. Brought in 2 original Led Zeppelin records and about 20 other rock and rap albums and they offered $25 what a joke.

Bee Kay: Decent selection but prices for records are at market level. They ask top dollar for a majority of things considered uncommon and above. You can find some pretty cool obscurities here now and then that make it worth digging through but expect to pay. They do come across some pretty rare stuff ever once in awhile in great condition too but again, price point should make me want to buy it locally and get some sort of "deal" versus to look elsewhere. This is not a knock, just an honest opinion. Still worth stopping and checking out for any music fan... I do wish they offered a listening station or two for used items considering the condition varies so much and you never know how scratchy something might sound.

Bret Shane: Nice store, descent selection of music. Little pricey.
Derick White: Nice guy working, a relatively small collection of vinyl, but you can find new releases of many popular musicians. Not a ton of used records yet, hopefully inventory continues to build. A nice location as there aren't many other record shops in the near vicinity. Price was slightly higher than big sellers like Amazon, hope it can compete by growing value that a brick and mortar store can offer like live music or incentives for repeat customers.

Julia Royalty: Excellent first trip in! Reminded me a little bit of Disc Replay nearby but with a nicer atmosphere and setup. Friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable staff. A rare game I've been looking for for awhile they were able to locate at another one of their locations and able to ship to this location! Fingers crossed for when it comes in. Was surprised how cheap it was compared to other prices I've seen online.
