Emma Slezak: Booked through expedia after reading that they allow MULTIPLE pets online. I had been driving for over 13 hours with my dog and cat. I started the check in process and informed the gentleman at the front desk about my animals. Immediately I was cut off and told that only 1 animal is allowed on their PREMISIS. I was DENIED the room because I had 2 pets. I was backed into a corner to "cancel" due to misinformation posted online. The front desk gentleman informed me I would be given a FULL refund. I immediately contacted expedia who was surprised as well they did not allow multiple pets. after waiting 72 hours for a response from expedia, I was told the manager refused to give me a refund from red roof because I canceled (but how could I check in and get the room if I wasn't even allowed with my animals on the premises. I called red roof to speak to the manager and the lady that answered didn't take any of my information and told me the manager would call me bsck (I assume my information was still in their system). I waited 4 hours for a call and tried calling back, to be told the manager was gone for the day. Apparently the manager only works 4 hours a day. I filed a dispute with my credit card due to being denied service and bullied into having to find a different hotel for the night (luckily I found a really nice one that didn't have any issues with my pets). I would also like to point out I had not had this booking for days, it was within 2 hours.Long story short, don't rely on red roof if you are traveling with any pets, they take your money and refuse you a room. Even when they say they will give you a refund, they won't.

Erinn Weaver: Turned out to be a pretty nice hotel. They actually have handicap rooms here, which give you walk in shower access. They do have some carpet under the beds in the main area and the rest is hardwood or tile flooring especially in the bathroom (it's all mostly tile due to the showers I think) It's a little scary if you're on a walker and having to mobilize on hard flooring especially if it's wet, so I suggest a lot of towels laid out on the floor for safety precautions while maneuvering. They are installing new sinks here too, so it was a pretty inconvenient time to switch rooms while this was going on... but at least it will all be new for the next time. The receptionists here are very nice and accommodating, and the prices through the week are not that bad at all, but on the weekends, starting on Fri. they do go up to $108. I would still definitely recommend this hotel. I had a pleasant stay even though the switching of rooms was a bit of an inconvenience.

John Mon (TheJohnM): I stayed here to go to the children's museum of Indianapolis, it's a bed and that's about it. The room had a decent tv along with a microwave and mini fridge. There were no coat hangers in the room which was kind of annoying, I didn't ask for them but I assume they have some. The pillows were the worst thing I've ever slept on! I went to Walmart which is about 8 minutes away to buy an extra pillow. I stayed here with three other people but they said the rooms only work with one key card... I've never heard of that at any other place. There are vending machines in the lobby with reasonable prices for drinks and snacks.
W R: You won't get a smile in this place. Customer service is horrible. Got to the room and it's freezing. Took 2 hours to get kind of warm. I noticed I didn't have toilet paper and no backup so I called and asked. He said I can come back and get it. It's by now snowing and this isn't a inside place. Plus guys hanging out in front I told him if he can't bring it I will wait till tomorrow. He hung up. So yeah, Customer Service a joke.

Mike Kehl: Counter guy very hard to understand, was assured we would get the $100 security deposit refunded to my card. 3 days later we had to call the hard to understand counter guy back, once again we were told it would be refunded. It was supposed to be refunded at check out and still has not beed refunded! Rooms are out dated but ok, we asked for a king bed but got 2 very small queens. The one had a ditch in the middle so we slept. in the other lol. Outside noise was pretty bad with the traffic and all but we can usually sleep through anything. Room was overall ok and what we expected the the price an a 2 star hotel. Location is good and we highly recommend Charlestons Restaurant next door, the place, service and food was outstanding and Kelsie our waitress was professional and fun!

Beds are actually very comfortable. Just wish it wasn't so close to major highway.Safety: Very safe and secure. Glad we came.Walkability: You can walk to most of the nearby restaurants and stores if the weather permits and you don't mind the traffic.Food & drinks: Close to many eateries and across the street from a huge hospital. Terrie Render: Reserved room through Priceline. The only other charge stated was the early check-in amount. When I arrived at the hotel, the gentleman asked if I wanted a room. I indicated that I had a reservation. He stated that I had to pay the early check in charge and $100 deposit. I was not expecting since Priceline did not mention. I asked the gentleman if it was the hotel policy, he replied, "my hotel, my price", very aggressively. I asked if I could see in writing, he shouted 'get out, I'm not renting to you. I tried to find something with tge hotel information, so I could leave and request a refund. I called Priceline to discuss. In turn they called the hotel. The gentleman straight up lied about our encounter. When Priceline responded back to me, I was told he would rent the room, but I still had to pay the $100. I refused the offer because of the hotel stffs rude, aggressive and threatening behavior. The area dis not appeal to my eyes; however, I just needed a few hours to stay, due to renovation of my apartment. Bottom line, DONT PATRONIZE THIS ESTABLISHMENT, NASTY, RUDEand DISRESPECTFUL OWNER.

Braelyn Dale: Stayed here for 2 nights and was severely disappointed. The sheets had black marks on them and looked like they hadn’t been washed. Upon entering the room it immediately smelt of cigarettes and the walls have holes/ torn paint on them. Tv wasn’t working. Outside my room there was old mattresses laying on top of each other. I don’t recommend wasting your time here. Whole place needs a renovation.

Gloria Perez: Our room was absolutely filthy. Dirty floors, dirty black toilet from the inside, little hairs in the bathroom, towels had stains, bed looked like someone put out a cigarette on it. I wiped the dirty bathroom floor with a Clorox wipe to see if the stains on the floor were permanent and the wipe was BLACK after a little wipe. And the whole room smelled like cigarettes. Disgusting. Do NOT recommend. We immediately left to a Best Western nearby after seeing how dirty our room was. Much much better room there and CLEAN!

Mark A. Barmes: Nice room, quiet, the staff was always friendly. The grounds was very well maintained. My wife and I travel quite abit and we prefer Red Roof. I've been a ready card member since 2013, love those free nights. Very pet friendly and plenty of space to walk them. (For all of us dog owners please clean up after your pet My suggestion not theirs.Rooms: As you can see rooms are immaculateNearby activities: Beech Grove Southport Greenwood Whiteland Franklin all within 10-15 minutes drive.Safety: There is staff on grounds at all times, due to the restaurants, bars, being right off the I65 exit onto Main Street and the amount of visitors to the area You have local county and State Police driving through getting fuel etc.Walkability: Plenty of food drinks and entertainment all within just a few blocksNoteworthy details: Their pool is brand new and opens in May I think.

Justin Ridlen: This hotel was filthy, and the room smelled bad. The blankets had holes burned in them, and the sheets on both beds looked to be either dirty or stained. The lobby refused to exchange the linens until the next morning and would not refund the cost. The light was flickering like it had a short. The bathroom door wouldn't close all the way, and the bathroom was filthy.
Cord Mccoy: I typically stay at this hotel when visiting friends in Greenwood. It's cheaper than the other hotels nearby and there is always a room available.Only complaint, I had a scammer call my room phone at 4am claiming to be the front desk; asking for payment info and my card number because their payment processing system is down. The scammer knew my room number and offered some type of reduced rate and incentive on my next visit. I hung up the phone and went to the front desk to discuss the "payment issue". Turns out there was no issue with payment and they have had past guests recieve similar phone call in their room. I brought up the scammer issue and requested they inform future visitors about it. Bottom Line: Do not answer your room phone!
Kelly Bug: Hotel is right in our price range for having a hot tub in the room, its the best deal i found really, and the biggest hot tub i have found. The property isnt to well kept up with, but the rooms are clean, I clean when I go in and I dont ever find dirt on my Clorox wipe, they always end up just as clean as when i took them out the package. So i can say they do clean well i know that for a fact. Over all experience was good not great but good.
