The Arc of Indiana: what do users think?
Bunny Marie: The kindest most loving people you'll ever meet in your life! God has graced me tremendously by placing these amazing humans in my life!!! Thank you so so much for all that you do! (aka Megan Marie Long)
Shannon Clingaman: My son has a trust through Arc. Was told he was able to use this money anyway he wished. His dream for a few years was a trip to Disney. No funds were released after a detailed itinerary was sent. It was down to 2 days before we were to leave and still no funds released. The hurricane ultimately was the main deciding factor to cancel the trip. If not for that it would of been due to his money not being sent. Very upset and currently researching another trust to use.
Sharon Felder: Provide Housing to Developmentally, Emotionally, and Physically Disabled Adults.
Rita Kleinschmidt: We have an ARC trust for my son. Melissa Justice was tremendous help when we put it together. Im very comfortable reaching out to them w questions. Reimbursements are handled quickly. We may have had a few lil bumps now and then but they are worked out and handled well. I feel that it is safe secure way to help manage my son's financial world. I highly recommend the Master Trust.
Heather Krone: Amazing people and program
Dannie C: If I could give this place Zero stars I would. I met the Director (or so she claimed) of the Lafayette office. She told my wife and I if we ever needed help to call the number on the card she gave us. She said they are made readily available to parents with children on the Spectrum. Within a month after meeting her, I began calling. Leaving numerous voicemails begging for help. My son is my one and only child. Not only was a I new parent, I was very brand new to the world of Autism. I needed help with EVERYTHING. I was told by a different agency that in order to get the Medicaid Waiver, I had to get my son on SSI. I applied. Spent hours filling out applications and gathering all sorts of paperwork. Only to find out that I didn't need to apply for SSI. I called the Arc again, this time I left a voicemail in tears begging for someone, anyone to please call me back. He was diagnosed May 8th 2018, I filled out the SSI app and called them on May 11, 2018. I am still waiting for the call back. I even went to an event at the Columbia Park Zoo they had for Autism kids some months after I tried to call, and there was the same woman, with the same old speech, "we are here to help". I feel sorry for the kid she brings with her, forcing her to hand out information on a poorly ran organization. This place is a joke!! DO NOT COME HERE FOR HELP!!! If your child is younger than 3, go to First Steps!! The DT's and Coordinators are much more likely to help than anyone at this place. Find any place but The Arc. You will save yourself a lot of tears and frustration.
Belinda Cole: It's a great place to work!

Damar Services Inc: what do users think?
Shawn Ruben: I called them with a question. They answered the phone with no greeting. My question had to do with a very serious issue that needed immediate attention. Not only was I turned away but the woman i spoke with also ended the phone call with a yup. If they can't display basic courtesy over the phone I doubt they can help your loved ones.
Amber Howard: Staff were very friendly and helpful!!!
Kyle stewart: This is a bad place to be I was there my 11 and 12 year of school I have a disability mild retardation. They treat the young people with disabilities wrong. I almost had my arm broken in Restrain all because I had a bad day hell everyone has a bad day. The way this company works is not right I don't recommend no one go here don't put your kids in this facility it's like a prison. I lost my mom when I was 10 and I had a few things there and they just let the kids destroy it I never got the stuff back. The kids pick on each other. It's just a bad place.
Crystal Conley: My neice will be attending Damar Academy this year, for 5th grade...we were getting scared, because we hadn't heard back from Damar, that we were going to have to put her in public school...that would have been a nightmare, but Damar came through at the last minute...so very happy for this blessing...
Arneetrice Catledge: -🗣🗣 LONG POSTSitting here in tears cause I be trying sooo hard to make sure my kids are straight man! Especially my Cameron. Trying to get him back in therapy is a long drawn out BATTLE!! So I put him on the waitlist for Damar ABA. Sent all his paperwork over okay boom waiting list #18. Just for me to call back today and ask where he at on the waitlist and the director tells me #30!!!!!! I’m like huh no he was #18 etc etc. so she proceeded to tell me that the clientele that leave the program and come back get Seniority over the newcomers!! I’m like HUH how is that fair! The point of the waitlist is to move up now down! Then proceeded to tell me that if “I didn’t like the policy she couldRefer him somewhere else” NOOOO I choose this facility for specific reasons. I asked who was her boss and where is he/she? Director tells me that no one above his is available to speak with. So I broke down what she said to her so I make sure I heard her correctly. So basically you all are saying forget the newcomers and we just gone push them back to the end. & to make matters worse NO ONE FROM THE FACILITY reaches out to let us know when we are moving UP OR DOWN on the waitlist. So glad I did call cause I’ve would’ve never know! I sent a message to the PRESIDENT of the company and his wife. My heart is so broken because we shouldn’t have to go through this for care!!! & not only is that NOT FAIR to my child but how many other kids got BUMPED to the end cause of this so called “POLICY”!!!!Next I’m writing the BBB & reviews on google! Cause no it’s not fair at all!!
Alyssa Marsh: From personal experence damar helped me through my troubles. Wonderful staff they do not get enough credit what they go through with kids with behavorial challenges. Even though its been years but they do alot and i want to say thank you for all your help.
Cameron Long: Staff are abusive they throw kids around and scratch them strave them
Alley “Alley”: I really hope that little boy got his spaghetti!!
ASHLEY GAGE: WHOEVER ANSWERS THE PHONE THERE WAS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL, THEN WHEN I ASKED FOR HER NAME SHE ASKED WHY IT MATTERED, GIVING ONE STAR BECAUSE ZERO IS NOT AN OPTION
Dennis C.Chris Hovey: The work they do for youth in need is outstanding. There are really special people here that care and love what they do, and is not easy work. They have and still are working miracles with my son and other children everyday!
Rachelle Hays: My son Jonathon Kidwell went to Damar. He has came long way in school behaviors and the staff was wounderful. They help redrectact my son with moods and behaviors to help him move foward as a better person. They know how to work with the kids and families.
Josh Crawford: This is not damar services main number this is a group home the phone bill is in damar's name

accessABILITY: what do users think?
Timothy Hammel: We attended a meeting here and the employees were very nice, helpful and caring. Don't know much about them but the people we were in contact with were great.
Don Hemenover: Class operation. Quite helpful.
Amanda Knowles: I love Renee. She gets things done.
Lori Sanders: I have contacted and left several messages (over fifteen) since August of 2018. I had recently been medically approved for social security disability and called and left messages in regard to obtaining disabled housing. I received a call back from one of their staff who assigned an advocate - a Soriya or Sorinya to show at my home @ 9:30 am. This person, NEVER showed up - called to cancel or rechedule - just - NOTHING!!!! Do not waste your time with these people...they do not want to work, they will take money...supposedly to "...help the disabled..." Yeah - RIGHT!!! In addition, my Father, who has lung and bone cancer was scheduled for chemo this morning - we waited over an hour for this "person" to show up - and - he/she/or it NEVER called OR showed up!! To top it all off, I never even received an apology or even a phone call with an explanation. Go figure!!
Lisa Speakes: They service all but mainly work with people who have a disability but they will try and help those who don't in there workshop
M H: accessAbility Indianapolis was far more concerned about obtaining funding from the Indiana Family and Social Services Administration and other government agencies than advocating for their disabled clients or providing quality services.
Sonya Macrina: Apparently these people can't be bothered to return a phone call. I left several messages asking for help. Waste of time.

University Heights Health & Living Community: what do users think?
Melissa Sheehan: Having had a previous experience with my mother staying at University Heights for pulmonary rehab in 2019, my siblings and I chose this facility again when my father needed physical, occupational, and speech therapy following a stroke in November 2022. My father was admitted to U.H. on 01/10/23. My sister and brother-in-law were with him upon admission and for the entire day. They were given zero instruction as to what the protocol was for my dad needing assistance for going to the bathroom, getting into and out of a chair, bed, or wheelchair. Ultimately, they did everything for him. Once my father was in bed for the night, my sister and brother-in-law left. My father fell out of bed that night. This fall could not have been prevented. The issue was my family did not receive a call about the fall. We then hired a third-party sitter to stay with him all night. A member of my family was with him all day and evening the rest of his stay as well. I could go on about the next several days and the utter lack of attention given to my father and the incompetency of the staff but will fast forward to his final day at the facility. On Saturday, 01/14/23, I said good night to my father around 10 p.m. The sitter was there and told me to go home and get some rest. I felt very comfortable leaving at this point. The sitter left the following morning as schedule at 7 a.m. I arrived at 9:03 a.m. I will never forget the moments that followed. I walk in to find my father in his wheelchair across from the nursing station. I had expected this to be the case. What I had not expected was my father was breathing in a way I have never seen anyone breathe. A nurse was standing there taking his vitals and indicated "he is not doing so well today." I looked at his oxygen level and it was 83. I then looked to see if he was being assisted with oxygen through a cannula and he was not. I asked why he wasn't receiving oxygen and the nurse replied "he is DNR." I proceeded to indicate being DNR does not mean you do nothing and told her to get oxygen on him. The oxygen tanks were kept in a closet. She was unable to access the oxygen as she did not know the code to the closet. I had to leave my father, run down the hall, and find someone who could assist. During all this time, I noticed my father had evidence of vomiting on his shirt. They indicated at around 7:30 that morning he had begun vomiting. NOONE CALLED US! Also during this time, the nurse asked if I wanted her to call 9-1-1. My question was "you haven't called 9-1-1!?!" She then indicated she did not know the address to the facility. I then ran down the hall again to find an onsite manager for assistance. I realized during this time my father had another stroke. When we spoke with the doctor later that morning after learning my father had suffered a massive stroke, he indicated his vomiting was most likely due to the stroke and the start of the pressure in his brain building. While the outcome would not have changed for my father, we lost the last 90 minutes of his life in which he was alert. I can only imagine how scared he was and how he wondered why his children had not come. We didn't come because we didn't know. We were never called. I do not recommend this facility for caring for your loved ones. My family and I witnessed call lights going off for 15 minutes or longer at a time. And no, this is not a staffing shortage but the wrong staff. One of my family members witnessed the aids braiding each other's hair with multiple call alarms going off and not being tended to. It is sad how the care provided at this facility has declined so much in just 4 years. - Melissa S.
Lynn Johnson: Sharing my review for my mom. My mom who is 89 years old fell and fractured her hip in January 2023. She went to University Heights for her rehab. The staff there are wonderful - from nursing, CNA's, PT and everyone in between. My mom was treated with kindness, empathy and compassion. She was able to come home this week! A great facility!!
Staisha Wilson: I enjoy working with this company their very friendly and flexible. As well as my residents who are pretty amazing and caring.
Khiana Phillips: I’ve been working here for about 6 years total , I love the relationships I’ve built with my residents and coworkers …truly feel like this is my second family … we have a great therapy team .. I RECOMMEND UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS — Khiana QMA ❤️
Dale Rebennack (BigDaddy): When you're trying to get in there or transfer another place I'm not sure if it's Staffing problem but, they never call you back the original person to talk to you have to keep calling and trying to pass message to find out if they got authorization to get in or not lack of follow through...
Missy Barker: I highly recommend bringing family members here. Your loved one will be treated like Family!!!
LEKISHA HOLLOWAY: I love it here I’ve worked here for 6yrs and planning on staying. I love my residents and staff.the building is amazing..come out and visit us
richard martin: Well with the loss of another great employee that loved her job I'm afraid for the future . GOD BLESS the residents there because management have no clue what to do , top 5 cna in the state has left the building
Daysi J: The past 6-8 years being at UH have been about making new memories every year tht I been working there! Each year is different such as residents nd staff members!
Kimberly Greenwald: I have never had so many issues with one place in my life! I firmly believe that they are stealing medication from the patients because what you ask for you don't get. I have been here for over a week and I am on pain medication from a hip surgery from a fall and I am supposed to be on pain medication every 4 hours and when I push my button sometimes it takes them 2 hours to answer the call light, unless I'm in the bathroom and I pull the string. I have waited up to 4 hours to receive my medications which makes them 4 hours late! They are due every 4 hours when I ask for them not a scheduled time. I was due for pain management medication at 2:00 a.m. and the nurse informed me that I will not be getting any pain medication probably because I'm due to be discharged at 11:00 a.m. in the morning. That tells me right there that somebody is stealing medication! If the Dr prescribes medication every 4 hours it should be on the cart. There have been many times when I have asked for two pain pills and they come back with only one saying there's an issue with the cart. I'm getting tired of these excuses! I will be calling the state to report theft of opioid medication from patients.
Sharon Zschiedrich: Love what I can do to help my staff and residents at UH. Great place to be
Roberta Rutledge: I been working at University heights for 3 years, they have an excellent therapy department and a wonderful nursing team.
Bilinda Collins: I have worked at University for almost 5 years and absolutely love it! From the very beginning I felt like this was home. I love my residents and co-workers and genuinely enjoy coming to work everyday. We are all one big family and I wouldn’t want it any other way!
Dorian Mihay: “I was so scared and worried about coming to a facility. But since coming to University Heights, I have been treated with respect and dignity. The staff encourage me to keep pushing forward. There are a ton of staff that go above and beyond. I would recommend if you’re looking for a rehab place to come here.”-Sheila Hammond
Rucci Ray: Hello their I'm so graceful that I work for Cardon University Heights Health and living for 4 years also my Mother is a resident here and she loves to go to all the activities
Dawn Zschiedrich: I been working in laundry for few years now. I enjoy all residents and staff and really enjoy being able to help our residents. Best place I have been!
Amber Zschiedrich: Have been working at UH for few years now, I very much enjoy my job and coming to work and taking care of our residents. Have a great staff that work with great team!
Debbie Pietsch: I have worked at this facility for over 10 years. I love my job as the Activities Director and helping to make residents smile and stay active. I highly recommend our Therapy department. They do a 👍 job.
Linda Lewis: I have worked here for almost a half of year and I really love my patients and coworkers.
Brittney Wagner: If you go to university heights I hope you get the work with Wendy in therapy. She is very caring she listens to your needs, very polite and a good caring heart. She will design you therapy to your needs. P.Tuttle- rehab resident
KeeAnna Doone: Love coming to work and spending time with my residents and the bonds we make. Especially love my rehab team and therapy team.

Quinton Residential Living: what do users think?
Mandy Wise: Sam moved into a group home with QRL in January 2020 after living for 3 years in another larger group home with a different organization.Sam suffered physically and mentally abuse by both staff and housemates at the previous home. The staff were ill trained and often struggled to communicate in English. There were constant staff and management turnovers. Sam became a flight risk, became physically aggressive and had numerous hospitalizations and run-ins with law enforcement.Sam is happy and settle for the first time in years. The staff are awesome. Our house manager is excellent. The administrative staff keeps us up to date and informed. The owners are hands-on and are always readily available and work with us as a team to provide Sam with the best care possible. We a truly thankful for everything QRL has provided Sam and would highly recommend QRL to anyone seeking group home care for their loved one.Mandy and Mark Wise
Alex Hail: 👍👍👍
Carrie Hendley: QRL is one of the best companies I’ve ever worked for in this field. I absolutely love all the owners and people that I work with. QRL is a company full of compassionate and dedicated people. QRL’s quality of care is the best I’ve ever seen in this industry.
BLONDE CHIC: LOVE WORKN 4 QRL
