Tin Roof: what do users think?
Jen Smith: Best live music ever
patty jarrell: Good food good music
Quincy Perry: Surprisingly really good food and service 10/10 would 100% recommend
Charissa Wilson: We had a blast here. Staff was great. The Bouncer was super hot! Drinks were cold. Music was great! All around just a fun time.
Gillian Rockwell: My favorite bar in downtown Indy ! The live music is always good
Bora C: TLDR: Avoid for peace of mindMoved downtown recently and have been exploring the city so this became one of the places I visited frequently. The vibe is generally good, there is live music, inexpensive drinks, (a few) kind employees. Before my experience last week, I thought this was a place worth checking out but I was very very wrong.I don't recommend anyone visiting this place unless you're okay with being assaulted (hands on you/grabbing to try and throw you outside, spill your drink in front of everyone) by an employee not having a good day. Followed by more bullying when you inform them what you experienced. Cherry on top was hearing "you're banned" as if I'll ever visit or give money to an establishment treating their customers like this. It's a shame really, a place with potential ruined by few employees who think they can get away with anything, without repercussions. I contacted them asking to check security footage of the incident in case they didn't believe me but did not hear back. It's concerning reading similar stories by people in other reviews. I think owner must take action before something worse happens with this provocative behavior. I will not be visiting again.
John Wiley: Great time!
Alton W: Awesome time and enjoyed the band greatly
Corey Edwards: I went on a Thursday at 7pm and the doors were locked, it said online they opened at 4pm on Thursdays. I called and they said they won't be open to Midnight . I wasted $50 on an Uber to get here .
Komarthi Divya: Tin roof its simply and nice. Food and service are satisfied.
allison wray: Sweet people ! Great vibes ! Fun times!
History Is Hip: What a great last-minute find for a bite to eat downtown before a concert at the field house across the street. The wings-tenders were huge, tender and juicy. We ordered them tossed with buffalo sauce, very yummy. I imagine there is an art to frying tater tots. These were perfectly golden brown! Another thumbs up. We also shared a Cole slaw, a creamy version but not overly creamy (thank you). And it had some tang to it--also very good! For me, the mark of a good place to eat is the quality of the fountain drinks (soda pop). The fountain coke was super delicious--I wish that I lived closer ;). In fact, it was the best fountain coke that I've had in a long time. Plus Tin Roof always live music--fun and deliciousness!
Zach Vogel: Great bar atmosphere
david whimore: Great staff, great music
Brandon Dilts: Fun live music bar with country and rock music most nights.
Cheryl Jacobs-Morrison: This place always has good food and service! They just don't open for lunch Monday thru Friday anymore. ☹
Dyishan McPherson-Eckles: The DJ was jammin and the drinks were really good. Great atmosphere!
Matt Black: Went out for Halloween I was the designated driver a creep that had too much to drink grabbed my friends butt. We told the bartender who pointed us to security at the door. Even though they had a line down the block and a packed house they listened to me right away got a manager and removed the guy from the bar and apologized to my group for his actions that is how you run a bar. 10/10. Other details that were great too, staff was friendly, dressed in costumes, Dj was great, and drinks were quick and delicious.
John Christiansen: Good place to stop have a drink and hear some live music.
Toeknee “The Italian Stallion” Castillo: Good Experience, this place has a nice vibe and good bar food/service!
Leslie Bobb: Quiet Sun. night.

Christopher Fanton: I suggest doing the bone marrow shot, it's yummy.
Adam Scroggin: Love this restaurant in downtown Indy. The tomahawk pork chop was delicious. The octopus too. Our server Mike was great. Good guy and DJ. Will be back!Recommended dishes Lamb Shank …More
Brian Walker: I love Union 50. The food is top-notch and excellent. The restaurant itself is nicely appointed with a modernistic style. I had the duck, which is amazing. Lindsay helped me, and she was very attentive and charming.I'll always come back here. Impossible to go wrong.
Luis Lluberas: Fabulous service, tasty food, in a modern setting! We decided to follow Brandon's recommendations as he was very knowledgeable of the dishes offered and we were not disappointed! The lamb was very flavorful and tender as well as the tomahawk pork chop. A short drive from most hotels and convention center. Parking on premises. Reservations advised. Ample seating indoors and outdoor. Highly recommended
Bryan Hines: Big fan of this place. It’s a perfect spot for casual fine dining that isn’t too pretentious. The place is just a cool spot with great food. Charcuterie is a must purchase if you go.
Gurley78: Love this spot..food and drinks are great! Atmosphere great for date or just yo hang out.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Angela Cook: Visited Indy today from Cincinnati and went to Union 50 on a whim. They did not disappoint! The food was absolutely delicious and our server Khiry was awesome! We had the truffle fries, the duck and the lamb shank. We loved the atmosphere and will definitely be back on our next visit.
Tasha Elle: On a spur of the moment, we decided to grab a bite before our great summer shred and glutton shedding begins. Always diet starts tomorrow, right? Well, Union 50 proved to be a good bet for our last Eat-Out meal. I'm not fond of poutine, but I actually really like the pastrami poutine they have. Maybe it's because the amount of fries to toppings was well ratio-ed out. It wasn't toi dry or too soggy. Just perfect and it was yums. Everything was delicious. I'm a huge fan of duck and the duck duck dish was cooked perfectly. Tender. Tasty. Totally one of the best places to eat at Indy. And the service was great. Our server and the kitchen coursed everything properly. Pretty impressed with this place.
Laura Plunkett: The staff were wonderful and our waitress Alley was amazing. The appetizers and entrees were so delectable. Everything tantalized the pallet.Parking: Just as you expected.
Candice Bambrick: Me and my mom are not from Indianapolis and went here because the menu looked fantastic and I am glad we did! Not only was the food some of the best food we have ever had but the service was unmatched. Truly the best staff we have ever seen. Bravo! Will be back again!
Eswin Trujillo: First off, if you're concerned about COVID, this is a good spot. While it only has indoor seating, the seating is spread very far apart, well more than 6 feet, and everyone there seems to take it seriously. Second, the food was great and the price was reasonable (although I live in Chicago so maybe everywhere else seems cheap?). I highly, highly recommend the toast + jam, as it is raw ahi tuna on crispy bread. The scallops are also highly recommended, especially if you like spaetzle. Should I find myself in Indy again, it will be hard for me to want to eat somewhere else.
Cory Lyon: OutstandingFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Karen E Laine: I keep trying to like the food here, and maybe it's my palate that's the problem and not the food, but it all seems over done to me. There seem to be too many flavors added to each dish. This time, I ordered gnocchi, which the menu didn't mention was spicy (which I pay attention to because I don't enjoy overly spicy food), and traditionally isn't spicy, and it was too spicy for me to eat. Also, the menu said it was pan seared, but mine was charred. The truffle fries were a little limp and had too much truffle oil. The bread had char marks, which I know some people like, but I just don't. I like my bread to taste like bread, not charcoal. Our service was good: attentive, knowledgeable, timely. There are a lot of hard surfaces, so the space is noisy.
Keith F: Absolutely delicious!! My wife and I choose a new (to us) restaurant every month, with the criteria of being "an experience". Union 50 definitely delivered.Every morsel of food was devine; from our appetizer to our desserts, and everything in-between. Our server was a joy; as she was always ready to answer all of our questions, and give amazing recommendations. All the other servers as well could see my wife and I admiring the dishes as they came out, and would tip the plates a bit in our direction as they walked by with an explanation of what the dish was.Chef Dan, Sous Chef Roman, and the entire crew put on an excellent display of their talents. A clinic on flavor, teamwork, and excellence if you will. Highly impressed, inspired, and fulfilled.
paul powell: Awesome food great service nice atmosphere.
Blake Nicolas: Toast & Jam was amazing and very unique. Lamb shank was delicious. Will be back.
dj alphahouse (DJ Alpha): We had to wait, but we're glad we did, because it was well worth it! The service was fast and friendly, but the best part was the food... It was to die for!!! It was so good, we are definitely going back for more! Super impressed by the menu. The meatloaf is my favorite!
Devin Goodman: Great place to eat! Never had a bad meal there and friendly, good service!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

The Jazz Kitchen: what do users think?
Li no Mioni: Lovely venue, great jazz live music, and a remarkably well curated menu! I will definitively be back@
Christopher Dinnes: The Jazz Kitchen is one of our favorite clubs on the planet. Great food, awesome music, and just simple fun. In of itself, worth coming to Indy!
Yohance Moore: The music was incredible, as was the food. Went here for date night, and was not disappointed. Highly recommend!
Jay Alley: The Jazz Kitchen is one of Indy's most unique bars and restaurants, featuring some of the best jazz, blues, and rock musicians performing in an intimate setting. I was there recently to see local guitarist and singer, Sadie Johnson, who rocked the house!
Ivan Sleet: This is my go to for relaxing smooth jazz. A nice drink and some speedy taquitos will do me just fine thank you! Always a good time anytime Rob and the 317 crew are performing! GUARANTEED
H Toms3825: Our first time here. The first thing we experienced was our server Isabelle. She was attentive. We never wanted for anything despite the fact that it was packed. The 2nd thing we noticed was how the staff adored and respected the general manager. I don't think I have ever been to a restaurant where the staff adored their managers and it was OBVIOUS. It is a testament to how the place is ran. I also got a chance to talk to Will and Kali out on the patio and they were sincere and funny and definitely had me wanting to return. If you are looking for a place with friendly staff. Great service and awesome music. This is your place.
Phoenix Lyons: Always a great time! Their entertainment is always on point and the food is amazing! Love this Broad Ripple staple.
Michelle Richardson: This was our 1st time @@ the Jazz Kitchen & needless to say it was everything I heard it was!! The atmosphere, food & entertainment was superb!! *****
Neicy Carla Squire: We had an amazing time! The atmosphere was nice and relaxing.. The food was delicious. The music was amazing and we danced the night away.
Kay D's Bored n Beauty Chat: Beautiful time! The singer, Emmaline, was sooo adorable! The food was good the wine was spectacular, but I never received my carrot cake.
Cora Mauzy: ♥️♥️♥️♥️💯
YDeni10: Had a great time, food and service was great BUT the parking situation is horrible.
Helen Wheels: Fantastic night out with friends. Venue is awesome. Service was friendly and quick. We had a cocktail and dinner before the show and we loved Emmaline. So talented and amazing to hear her story and meet her parents.
charles Bell: Love this club always looking forward to working there
Pete Hood: Beautiful venue. Great food and drink. Music was fantastic!!!
Elise “ELL” H: Great music
Deborah Dupee: The set was great, and the food was delicious. I think the host on the door was very annoying. We sat in the back of the place, which was still excellent seats, in my opinion. There were signs on the table that did say no talking while performance was going on. There was no one in the entire room that wasn't talking. However, it was very respectful to each table. The front host had already gone to every table to say no talking. Then, she would continue to peer around the corner the entire set, truly ridiculous. I have been to several jazz sets in my life and Indy who doesn'tgo to such extremes, really. This was over the top, annoyance. All are adults and would love to be treated as much. I respect the signs, but truly, this was a bit much. Alex Bugnon and the group were excellent!!! Lighten up a bit. It's supposed to be a night of fun and entertaining.
Melissa Booker: I heard of The Jazz Kitchen from one of my clients. I was looking for something to celebrate my birthday and it was the perfect choice. The food and music was top tier. I loved the experience. I plan on coming back to visit again. It's about a four hour drive for me but we'll worth it.
Antoine McSwain: Comfortable and clean atmosphere and nice hospitality
Darlene Hooks: The band and the food were great! The Soul Lounge band did a really great job 👏
Brian Walker: I saw Cool City Jazz play here. Amazing band. Singer Rebecca Wilson was wonderful. The food was really good a well.

Howl at the Moon Indianapolis: what do users think?
Jerry Hedrick: Great music...good drinks and awesome staff. Had an amazing time, will definitely be back.
Sherri Christopher: Super fun place.
william dake (Bill): Very fun on st Patty's day!
Jennifer Kimbler: This place was a blast! Crowded but that just shows how popular it is! So much fun!
kathy Lehr: So much fun for a bachelorette party! Entertainers are the best!!!!!
Stuart Thaman: Pretty cool spot, very much a typical Howl at the Moon—but that's a good thing. Only complaint was song selection not being as good as other locations. Not enough 90s and emo :)
Scott Bicking: I left my first review 3 years ago, just went to the St Patrick's day party in 2023 and had a blast! Allyson is a great server and we loved the Blarney Bomb!! The crowd is always fun and we usually make a few new friends!!Great music, great food, great employees!!
P D: Decent place, cover singer is super out if key for every song…drinks are good but the music seems to be pretty up and down and overall not worth having to pay a cover to get in.
Linda Parkhurst: So much fun. The ladies and gents that are singing and playing every instrument, have such extreme talent.
Mark Ames: I come here once a year and it's always great. The staff, the prices and the food. The entertainment is typical of a piano bar, and the talent never gives up trying to get the crowd partying.Staying in Indianapolis for the week is like staying at your grandma's house and Howl at the Moon is like sneaking out to your cousin's house for the real party
rebecca alemani: Amazing atmosphere
Kennan Hesler: Place was badass! Celebrated a birthday, it was packed, crowd was lit. Waitress was badass! Shoutout #Kay she even got on stage an killed it! Drinks were badass! Music/band=badass! 12/10 will go back.
Keith Light: Try to go there Saturday, and the bouncer and whoever else he asked said my ID “looks weird”. What does that even mean? I’m 31 freaking years old and had a group of ppl backing me up. They were just discriminating against how I look because I’m not the biggest person in the world and have medical scar on my throat.
cyriac jacob: The energy was great! Highly recommended!
Lestat loera: good place, good atmosphere, good music and good drinks, the only thing I don't like about the place is the space is very crowded, it is difficult to access the bar, find a place, or flirt with someone because of the tightness of the place
Tristan Carlson: Spencer was amazing helped us figure out drinks and prices not only effectively but quick great man love the atmosphere here bartenders made it a great night
Gregory Gondella Jr: Love this place
Stonewallgoalie: Fun place and good drinks.
Kyle Hulsebus: Came here before the Big10 football championship. Good beer selection and the entertainment was great! I'll definitely be coming back!
Michelle McCarty: We had a great time and great service!
Chris Miscevic: A blast to be in. Also recommend the pizza joint next door.

E. Bad.: Wednesdays are my favorite days to come at That Place. It’s a great time, the food is hot and fresh, the drink service is quick, and the atmosphere is fun. I prefer coming here on a Wednesday night over a Thursday night personally. The bartenders on a Wednesday are more likely to ask me how I’m doing and how my night is going than the girls on a Thursday. The customer service is better and friendlier Wednesday night.
Austin Streicher: This place was horrible and the service was even worse. Me and my adopted brother went in for a drink after work and sat at the bar. Didn’t get asked how was our day nothing. First thing. IDs and what ye want. My brother was getting glared at the entire time and having slander thrown at us. I read other reviews and am starting to believe that this place is racially motivated. Horrible place to go to
Kayla Beyma: If I could give zero stars I would. Me and my friend walked in and straight out the bat a lady walked up to us and said IDs, which yes we both are over 21 but didn’t want to drink, just wanted food and didn’t want to sit near the bar at all. We aren’t from this side of town and were hungry. We asked why and she said IDs it’s a bar. She was extremely rude and while saying this as we walked in and just stand there. We said it says bar and grill, And she just repeated herself, raising her voice at us saying IDs. So we just left due to her attitude and rude behavior. I will not ever step foot into the awful place.
sandra bultman: Ok I hate bars. I am older and pretty much just hate the atmosphere. My husband's in a band so I go where he plays music. That place is amazing. The Waitresses are awesome as of the rest of the staff. The food is great. I have to say I had a great time.

The shorter blonde is the worst. She pays no attention to the customers acts lost. They use to have good bartenders. If it wasn't for the bands they book they wouldn't have any customers that for sure. I'm hoping the managers can get this under control soon.

Apres Jack's: what do users think?
Scott Sermersheim: Great Music, Great Food !!!
Joey-Beth Mackprang: Great atmosphere with great live music!!
MsNanakay: It's always a great time at Apres Jack's on Wednesday night. Joey and Dani provide excellent service, food is good, and Toy Factory will have you up and dancing to their funky rhythms.
Jim Stimmel: Great atmosphere adjacent to Daddy Jack's. Live music and drinks
John Shea: Secret bar in the back of Daddy Jack's. Has live music and different drink special. It is worth it to go to the back.
Truth Hertz: Nice room! Food was good but the service was slow and our waitress added an extra desert and beer from our friends tab on our bill. That was her story anyway... got 'em mixed up.I didn't ask our friends but I saw they had issues with the bill as well.I am not sure but I think they had only two servers working the room, a bartender and waitress and neither one of them seemed to be in a hurry when it came to service. We had to finally ask the bartender to get the waitress to take our order. She got us our drinks but never came back for the food order.I don't know if it is important or not but the waitress was dressed a little strange as well. She had on this long flowy shirt thing and some kind of high heel shoes that weren't really conducive to fast efficient service work.I think she liked gliding around like Stevie NicksMaybe it's just me but I think if she was dressed more appropriately it might have put her in the right frame of mind to service a room FULL of people with a little more accuracy and urgency.Anyway, we'll go back, but probably just for the music.I dunno… My hamburger was pretty good, maybe I will go back for that. One more thing... When we were figuring out the bill mistake the waitress moved in a little close and even put her hand on my shoulder.I don't think in this day and age (old person speak) that was appropriate either. I doubt she would have liked it if I put my hand on her shoulder.
Catrina Wilburn: Superb food and music you have to go see for yourself. I suggest the blackened salmon with rice and house salad the dressing was nothing I had tasted before.
Denise Koers: Great atmosphere and 40 plus age group.
Christopher Cline-Smith: Great music, good food, amazing service.
Jennifer McWilliams: Thank you Apres Jacks for letting us host our biz meeting in the back on Saturday! Gracious host, helped us set up hdmi cable and the food was fabulous!-Jen, Tami, Tonya

Lillian Vanatta: I love a good Irish pub and the fish and chips with Guinness did not disappoint. The goat cheese fritters were to die for and the Irish soda bread was delicious. Only "complaint" would be that the young guy who dropped our food at the table (not our waiter) asked if we had everything we ordered, and when I mentioned I'd asked for a slice of the soda bread with my meal, he left without saying a word, and promptly (to his credit) came back, bread in hand...literally, in his hand, and dropped it on the plate. I thought it was hilarious but I can imagine not everyone would. Just set your expectations high for food and low for staff and you'll enjoy yourself.
Michael Holub: Great spot for a pint and an authentic Irish meal. The best I've had in a while and great portions. It's your own fault if you leave hungry.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Jeff Kohut: Good craic ! Beer, food , service, and music were worth the trip.
Stephanie Crockett: Celebrated St Patricks Day here, and the food and service were great. We were blown away by the fried pickles and special sauce. I also had an amazing fish sandwich. Worth coming for dinner for sure!
Bill Huffer: Waiter could have been more attentive and friendly as they were not that busy.Food: 3/5|Service: 2/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Joyce Ritchison: Rating is based on the food. I ordered the Guinness stew which was pretty much potatoes on top of potatoes with some admittedly nice tangy gravy. But it only had one carrot piece, little meat (and that which I had was very fatty) and there were no onions or other veggies either. So if you love potatoes, this is your dish. Service was good. Others had better experiences with the food than I. Friend said corned beef and cabbage was good, but she had nothing to compare it to.
Eric Shaw: It was a great stop for food and drinks before a concert nearby!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
tiffany pyle: While they were a little busy we expected a little better service. I had to ask 3 times to get a drink. Waitress didn't come check on us hardly at all. My chicken was so tough it was hard to even cut. When I told the waitress when she was walking by I got a "well are you wanting me to take it off the bill or something? " Only good things for our experience were the fried pickles and the Shepards pie, and not having to pay for chicken I couldn't eat.
Jason Sportmotor: 3rd time trying to come here in several months on a Saturday night and they where closed cause their system was down.

Chatterbox Jazz Club: what do users think?
Grace Ngumi: Good place to hang out and listen to jazz
Max Max: People are very inviting the sounds were up soothing to my mental state of mind l shall return on 1st Friday of the month
Trevor Berridge: Great music and good prices on drinks!
혁신전략: Really happy and sweet moment in Indianapolis. I enjoyed vibe.
David Boyles: This is a spot I really want to like. Stopped in right after they opened yesterday and the service was not good. The bartenders focus was on one single person at the bar and not the other patrons.
S D: Such a cool spot! Got here early enough that the crowd wasn't bad. Music started at 8pm with a $4 "cover charge" added to bill. Jukebox available before the jazz band starts. Awesome conversation with Jess at the bar! I had already eaten before I got here, but they do have small food items available. Such a cool vibe in here. If you haven't been, come. If you have been, chances are likely you'll be back.
Bob Cooley: Had a fabulous time. Perfect atmosphere, great music, friendly staff. Highly recommend!
Kristofer Buffington: This is the most authentic and intimate jazz spot in the city
Suzanne Thomson: Best place in Indy for jazz. Small, intimate setting, authentic atmosphere
Ben Lierman: What an awesome find! Relaxed environment, reasonably priced drinks, and smoooooooth jazz. Will definitely be back.
Allison Smith: The music is always a 10/10. But more than that, the bartenders are never shaken by the crowd. They have an honest way of caring about everyone and looking out for the bar like a family and they’re also just damn good at bartending.
Guy Aharon: We had great time at Chatterbox and very nice Jazz show
Laura Bethany Buchleiter: Great service. Great music. Great vibe.
Ramiro Robles: This is a fun, cozy, and unique looking jazz club. Always has great music and reasonably priced drinks. They do have some food so if you’re hungry you could have them cook you a frozen pizza. If you want to leave your mark you can donate a dollar with your message and have them permanently place it on their walls.
Cassandra Grube: I had a wonderful time with the jazz music and the ambience.
Ken Delbridge: Cozy atmosphere and friendly crowd. Great jazz music by “Sarah Grain & the Billions of Stars.” As it turns out Sarah Grain is at The Chatterbox the 4th Tuesday of every month. Different musicians every night.
David Llewellyn: Best hole in the wall Bar, Jazz and Music plus club in Central Indiana, maybe the Midwest.
Nancy Honaker: The music the people the vibe AMAZING!! Oh and you have to try the Jamaican patties so good!!
Seth Paxton: Tight space but lots of charm and committed to providing a regular outlet for local jazz talent.
Jacob Canada: Small quaint place with great music and cheap drinks.
Will Hubbard: Favorite jazz club in Indy. Probably my favorite bar too. Host is always super welcoming, great staff. Music is top notch.
