Tristan Rhooms: The hotel was located walking distance to the field house and Lucas oil stadium. The lobby, including the bar and conference room area, were beautiful giving a nicer ambiance to the hotel. Rooms could’ve been maintained a little better. Shower floor seemed to have streaks of cleaning products left behind, tv was a bit outdated for 5 star hotel. The bed and electric blinds were the best part of the room. Additional notes about the stay are that CVS closes too early. If you are staying more than 1 night and okay with a 5 minute walk to get your car, park at the Union Station Garage (You will save $$$).
erica Dillard: The hotel was very nice and let me mention the staff was great from start to finish. My husband and I were only in the city for 3 days but with the service we were provided we will definitely be back for a nice weekend getaway soon.The staff at the Market Table along will make you want to revisit the Alexander in Indianapolis. If you looking for a nice hotel downtown Indy look no more, this is it! The rooms are a little small but next time we will do an upgrade to something a bit larger. Ambassador Dr. Angela J Nealy, PhD: I was there assisting Dr. Alicia E. Mckoy with her keynote. I recorded the keynote, took photos and just listened to an awesome program.Alexander has such an eclectic array of one dimensional to three dimensional art. Cherry: This is a very unique hotel that I would recommend to anyone who likes art and out of the ordinary. You can see many everyday items (some obsolete) turned into art. Be sure to check out the Bird Man and the Madame CJ Walker display. Get a close look or you will overlook important details (like the cleaning person missed the red sauce on the white light switchplate in my room). The birds made from old albums are also a must-see, unless you are an album collector. The rooms are pretty and spacious. I slept well on my king-size firm mattress, but it seems that the hotel needs to spend more on them, particularly insulating for sound. One can hear conversations from the room next to them. If that doesn't bother you, then you will probably have no complaints after staying here.The showers are lovely and there were plenty of towels for one person.The pub is poppin' but I didn't try the food. People just seem to be enjoying themselves and there were many folks in there on a Friday night. The hotel also has a cozy patio for outdoor dining or snuggling. I don't think there was enough space for dancing.I would stay again, but l'd bring disinfecting wipes. One word of caution: You will be charged if you remove the full size bottles of shampoo, conditioner, or body wash from your room. This is written on a pricing sheet beside your bed, but you might miss it if you are enchanted with all the breathtaking sites.Thankfully, I read the sign.Go have a great time. This is a stay I will remember fondly for a long time!
NATASCHA FLOYD: This place is amazing! Not just the beauty and ambience of the hotel but the staff is incredibly hospitable and professional, too! We stayed here for my birthday and booked 2 rooms via an internet booking agency but there was an issue showing only 1 room when we arrived. The staff at the Alexander hotel were quick to remedy the situation and I mean QUICK! They booked a 2nd room a the same rate without hesitation. Then there was an issue later with the booking site. They still charged for the 2nd room. Tried to rectify the situation with them but got no where so called the Alexander directly and they took care of the problem right away! Erin and Brady are phenomenal, give them a raise! This was our 2nd stay at The Alexander and we love it every time. We will be back! And we will be booking directly next time! Thanks again, guys! =)

Kathrine remembered my name from 6 weeks ago when I stayed here, she’ll offer me a water w/o asking, and always offer assistance, yesterday I requested a microwave, the maintenance tech had already left, Aniyah from the front desk personally brought it up for me, I’ve been traveling for a while now for work, and have never seen such dedication from a front desk employee!!They deserve a big raise! The entire staff is extremely helpful and the property is very nice. Aniyah at the front desk went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Colton Haney: Absolutely LOVED my experience at this hotel. I stayed here based on the recommendation of a friend. While the room was comfortable, well decorated, and clean, what made my experience top-rate was the staff. Zahra was there for my check in - she was friendly, guided me through the hotel amenities, and made me feel welcome as a Marriott elite member. I then engaged with Caitlin, the night auditor, who helped me get an additional key. KRISTINE Black: I cannot say enough about the cleanliness of this hotel and the TOP NOTCH STAFF. As a germiphobe myself.. and my adult daughter who is even more of one...we both were SO comfortable here. The air...cleaner than clean! The room... sparkling.we have 2 small dogs and 2 cats. When they say pet friendly...they mean it! They even remembered our pups names when we took them to walk them. We were hit with the minus 10 degree Temps and spent a lot more time in the hotel then planned as a lot of events got cancelled in Indy. It was a pleasure The beds...the shower...so comfy! The staff knew we has a rough go getting there with the ice. They were so sweet at check in. I adore this hotel!
Stephanie: It's always difficult to decide if reviews are being too harsh and how they will align with your own expectations. Unfortunately, when it comes to Le Meridien Indy, I have to agree with the critical reviews. This is definitely a 3-star hotel with a 4-star rating.The hotel has been renovated, but parts of it still manage to look rundown and unclean. As other reviews have mentioned, the hotel is very small, and one of the main draws for staying here (beautiful lobby/hangout area) was closed consistently for private events. I was looking forward to the Corner King room that I had booked- only to be extremely disappointed once we actually saw it. Technically the room was located in the corner of the 6th floor of the property, but there is another building attached to the hotel... Our room was definitely a Deluxe, but we paid for a Corner. Very deceitful. It also lacked robes, slippers, and complimentary water bottles.All in all- the decor is cute and the staff is mostly friendly, but this is definitely not a luxury hotel.

Jason Lye Ph.D: Very very noisy. I hardly slept the first two nights because of guest room doors slamming shut so hard that they made a very loud boom in my room. The walls in my room seemed to shake each time someone on the corridor used their door. In addition, the shower dribbled intermittently, and I was woken up one night by the plumbing gurgling inexplicably. Downstairs there was also some construction (which I'm sure couldn't be helped,) so all in all, a sub-optimal stay.

Melissa Illies: The hotel and rooms are absolutely beautiful and area is phenomenal. However for the price you pay per night, you would think they could upgrade the hotel doors to close softly. The walls are paper thin and you can hear everything. We barely slept all night because of listening to all the doors closing. I won’t ever stay here again because of this.

Steve Smith: This Best Western was by far the worst chain we have every stayed at. From check in to check out nothing would rate 2 star. Customer service was missing if you could even find help. Coffee was cold and what little food they had was nasty. Maintenance is needed in the bathroom, microwave isn't working and the elevator is scary to say the least. As we travel a lot I thought we would try someplace different and BW was selected. Never again.Did i forget to mention after a 3 day staff the cleaning staff provided us with a nice loud bang on the door at 8am. I must assume they wanted us out so they could come in and take a break or something as they certainly aren't doing much cleaning.Please cancel my rewards card..

T Tracy: While our room was fine for staying one night, there was an outlet that really needs to be looked at as the lamp wouldn't stay on unless the cord was in a certain spot. Breakfast was typical for a hotel breakfast although the temperature of the food could have been warmer. But, what made this hotel nice was the fact that my daughter left a charger in the room and we didn't realize that until we received a phone call from them. They offered to mail the charger if we had already left the area! We actually were still in the area so I went later that day to pick it up. But to me, that shows a business that cares about their clientele! Most hotels will keep items for a while I'm sure but they wouldn't call you about them! That was very much appreciated!

B May: 1 star because 0 isn't an option. employee stayed this weekend for a work trip, bed broke and cut employees leg open. hotel staff refused to move rooms and fix the bed. the bed was fixed the following night with the hotel room being left open for any one to walk in and steal all the belongings. following night fire alarms sounded all night. expedia tried to get partial refund for inconveniences and hotel manager refused.

Court Hutsen: We stayed here because it was easy access to the freeway for the Indy 500. I waited to long to book a hotel room so I paid an extremely high rate for our 1 night here. This hotel could be so much better than it is currently. I'm not as picky as my wife is as far as lodging options. But the room has potential. It had a queen bed on one side of the room and a pull out couch on the other. The room was spaced out nice with 2 TV's. It had a sink, countertop space, mini fridge that fit a fair amount of drinks and food and a few other nice touches. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. I think it was slanted to my side. Lol!! I felt like I was gonna fall off it all night. My wife was less than impressed and I woke up with a back ache. But the purpose of the stay was 1 night quick stay and easy access to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and that I'd give this place a 5 star. Plus if you were flying into Indy or using the airport for any reason this hotel is a couple minutes from the airport. The staff was super friendly upon arriving and we asked for a couple extra towels and pillows and they were happy to help. They did have free breakfast in the A.M. but we left so early for the race we didn't take advantage of it. Overall I probably would stay some place a little nicer but it did serve it's purpose for what we needed it for.

Jim Garland: Do not stay here. It's dirty and has mold. This hotel was on a list of hotel for a Stay-to-Play volleyball tournament.The rooms were nasty. There was mold, the bathtub was peeling and dirty, and the bedding was stained and had other items on it. One of our parents said they found a used baby diaper by their bed.Management refunded our money, but now we have to pay for a higher rate elsewhere due to the last minute change.
Detech81: Stayed here back in 2017 which yes years ago. However, other sites are not posting my review because of negativity and 'profanity'. Wife and I stayed here for 2 nights back in April of 2017 for a conference she had. After checking in, there were a lot of kids (not teens), but a lot of kids running around the lobby, hallways. We were on the 1st floor another mistake.The room above us the kids were jumping off the furniture. Basically the hotel was a daycare and no parent stepped up to discipline. During the 2nd night sometime between midnight and 4 am. I woke up to late night to drunks trying to get into our room either thru the connecting door or hallway door. I nearly gave up and left the hotel on lack of sleep. But I doubt we would of gotten a refund.

E Todd Fowler: The room was pleasant. The lobby and elevator area had a strong odor of sewer gas. Patrons were covering their noses trying to avoid the smell. This place is one of my favorites in the area. I have been coming here for a long time. If you stay for a few nights you definitely won't regret it.This property was in a great location. Easy to get to from the airport and to our meeting. The the hotel staff were very helpful. When we encountered and issue, they went beyond what I expected to take care of our group.

zay turner: I visited a few years ago. (June 8 2018) And thought I made a review but here goes my updated review. I love where it's at. It's out of the way. I sleep through most noise so the airport doesn't bother me being near the hotel. It can get pretty noisy in the hotel as it is an airport hotel. Conferences, get togethers, and obviously families stay here so keep that in mind. The rooms were outdated at the time and from the looks of things they're still outdated. My room was decent. Clean and comfortable but outdated. I didn't mind the look of the room though. I like the old appeal. I'm more particular when it comes to bathrooms and flooring and crevices. And I wasn't bothered. The views looking outside from the room do suck if it's towards the back of the hotel. It was overall a chill decent experience nonetheless. The rooms (at the moment) did charge for a fridge because they're not automatically in the rooms. I would use this hotel again.Nearby activities: None. It's near a airportWalkability: Near a hotel. Matthew Hiserodt: Stayed here three nights while in the city with my family. Overall pros and cons:Pros - location great, easily walkable to most stuff downtown. Went to a pacers game and had no problem safely walking there. Definitely some food options nearby but those were more sparse on Sunday.- room service daily which I have not found to be overly regular since COVID. Definitely a plus- breakfast was a nice spread and the mains change from day to do. My favorite was the breakfast potatoes with peppers and onions.- price. It's basically the same hotel as the courtyard as they are all attached but you pay a lower price here for same quality.Cons:-parking. Garage is shared with other hotels and there are no adequate spots which forces to to valet at crazy high prices. Total ripoff and bad business practice that gauges consumers.-. Room temperature, airflow and space. I've stayed in a number of Springhills elsewhere and found this one cramped and stuffy. Poor airflow at night in the room led to lots of coughing and congestion. Fold out bed is actually a trundle and a couch, not a fold out queen like normal.- pillows are thin as could be. Did not sleep well as a result.- elevators. One was not working forcing use of the courtyards elevator. Stairs also located in other hotel.
Reiss C: Internet in the 10. floor doesn't work. There are several networks but non of them works. I tried several times with several different devices. I asked support from front desk and I was told to call the service provider.I could connect at the lobby area without an issue so I had to work at the lobby. It is 1 star in Marriott standards.And the staff was unfriendly. They are managing these ratings so what you’re seeing is not reliable.
