Most second hand and thrift stores will be in better shape than this location.Good luck finding something in your size because it will most likely be in a ball on the floor or thrown on a shelf. Very few items were in size or catergory order so it was difficult to look through things.I was not in the mood to go thru stuff since I was looking for a thing in particular. Maybe when I come back to Indianapolis I will try again. Maybe I could increase my rating.

ana salinas: This store was a disaster it was Missy all the clothes mixed up it was not one size and one place it was disappointing because I know other stores and their cleaner in this store somebody need to do something but otherwise they customer service was very good and everybody was nice
Mel TS: I would give this place a 0 if I could. There were multiple employees working and not a single one greeted us. You had to watch where you stepped because there was product all over the floor ( clothes thrown on the floor, thrown all over the racks, shoes all in the aisles). I won't be back here.
Timika Snyder: Terrible Service! The line was wrapped around the store and the ONE cashier who was was ringing people up requested assistance several times. Nobody came to the rescue. So I went to the back where two employees were preparing merchandise to be put on the floor and ask for a manager. The first young man laughed at me. The young lady who was there told me he's over in the fitting room. I walked into the fitting room he ( Manager Stevenson) was sitting in a chair arms crossed scrolling on his phone talking to another worker very leisurely. I asked if there was somebody who could help the young lady due to the line being wrapped around the store. He looked appalled at my request! He told the girl that he was talking to go help ring. She came to help about 7 minutes later he came 5 minutes after her. This was after he rolled his eyes and huffed! Awful! I'm pretty sure Stevenson was not his real name. I won't be spending my hard earn cash here anymore!
Oseyemi “Stella” Babatunde: Only 1 cashier for about 45 minutes. Other staff sitting at the back , we begged to have them attend to customers so the long line can move, yet we were ignored. It is very ridiculous! And items were littered all over the place 👎

Jessica Brown: This was the cleanest Ross I've ever been to. I'm not sure if it was because it was almost closing time, but oh my goodness, there were no clothes on the floor, none thrown over the tracks, nothing. The cashier guy, on the other hand, was very rude. He was snatching hangers out of my hand and only stopped when I snatched them right back. No greeting, no small talk, not even a crack of a smile.

It's one of my favorite stores.04/02/2023 Edit:Ross Dress for Less has been one of my go-to stores for finding great items for a great price. Over the past few years, I have acquired some of my best garments from here - scarves, a belt, backpack purses, a pair of shortie boots, and dresses.

Although no one rushed me out the door directly, I don’t think I’ve ever felt more uncomfortable or unwelcome in a store that is about to close. I think was the only shopper. The employees were shouting weird things at each other in German or something. Idk it was just totally weird and I did not feel welcome or really even comfortable. I arrived 12 min before close and was back in my car starting this review 2 min before close… I had every right to be there and shop. I guess it boils down to lack of professionalism.

Amanda Stahl: I tried to ask employees for help and got ignored several times. When I finally got someone to help, she passed me off to someone else, the same person who had responded rudely when I had asked about their clothing organization earlier. I use a wheelchair and their changing room doors aren’t ADA width for wheelchair use, but there’s a sign up saying to ask an associate for access to the ADA changing room. She told me it’s closed due to “short staffing”. I asked if there were any other options and she yelled and got rude with me and told me to “calm down my frustrations” when I was speaking kindly and calmly. I set my basket of clothing aside and left the store because I do not want to shop somewhere where the associates are so rude. It’s unfortunate because they actually had some decently priced clothing.

Yolanda Evans: This is a store I wouldn't normally shop. It's good for items just to lounge around in. Went in today to return an item and there isn't a service desk for returns/ issues etc. I approached the line and saw a sign that read PURCHASES ONLY so I moved to the other line next to 3 registers grouped together. I stood for 10 mins and the store manager who was running around trying to make change in the registers, opened another register then walked away. So I asked " Where do I do a return?" She replied over at those registers. I said "Well the sign says purchase only, so WHY would I go in that line? You need better signage so people know where to go." She mumbled something like don't blame us or whatever. The one cashier on that side called for me but she wasn't loud enough so she called again. I made my return and I'll NEVER return to this store again! It's dirty, dusty and some of the clothes are dirty from people dropping on the floor. The appearance of the store reflects the service. Don't waste your time.

Shay Ann: Update 1/10/23: They had racks of new merchandise blocking the shelves in the back. Good luck if you were shopping for those hidden items. I got to the registers & 2 cashiers were standing around talking. But the cashier who rang me up was too lazy to deal with the carts by the door. Wow. /Good prices. Also, very good Clearances prices.

Stephy Dean: The on duty manager needs to learn how to prioritize their staff. There should be at least be 1 or 2 cashiers up front and a backup cashier working as a floor person whenever needed. Don't put everything on one certain employee to maintain. It would certainly cause less attempts of theft to happen if every employee pulled their own weight and work as a team. I've been in retail for 30 years and know how things can work efficiently if you're all on the same page.
M. Soledad: Absolutely horrible service. They have only one cashier open. Employees are evidently under paid. I bought two sweaters at different prices. I was overcharged because a young lady did not bother to check the tags. I realized the mistake immediately but I had to wait (even if I was right there) to get the money back.
