John Cashin: An absolutely great shop! Josh and Austin are extremely customer friendly, explaining the differences and styles of Ebikes and in making the customer feel totally at ease. We test rode the Ridge Rider and the Avenue and were sold. As we were visiting our children in Carmel, Josh and Austin provided seamless shipping to our local bike shop for assembly in NY which arrived in less than a week. We are having a blast riding, the bikes are solid, run time/length are great and charge up in no time. We highly recommend their shop and the Pedego brand. Many happy rides!

I was pretty sure that I was going to buy one online because of price, but when I added everything up that Josh was throwing in, having a garage to service it, and the 5-year warranty I could not turn it down. I met the entire staff. Very knowledgeable and went out of their way to answer questions. We took an 18-mile ride last night on the Monon and had a great time! We would have never done that with our old bikes.

David, the owner, and Julian are extraordinarily knowledgeable and helpful. David spent a tremendous amount of time educating us about different models, rode with us on a long test drive, and made sure that we were completely satisfied with our choice of bikes. David Sabol: After a recent bike accident, I needed to have my bike repaired. I've used another bike company in Carmel, but didn't care for the lack of customer service there. So I went online to research other local bike repair shops and found positive reviews for Future Velo and decided to try it. I was completely impressed with the outstanding service and expert knowledge from Julian. On top of the quality service and repair (my bike rides better than before the accident), the actual cost came in lower than expected. I highly recommend Future Velo and plan to return for all my biking needs!
Sean Lee: This is a charming bike shop located right next to the Monon Trail and sits beside a bar. They sell e-bikes, but also repair bikes of all varieties. I called ahead to get some info about replacing a tube, but no one answered. Seconds later, I believe the owner David gave me a call back apologizing for the inconvenience. I assumed they were busy so I wasn't going to hold it against him to begin with. Nevertheless, he was super nice and helpful. He didn't need to call me back considering I didn't leave a voice message, but he did and to me that speaks volumes about a business. I came in later that day to get the tube replaced. The team at Future Velo Electric Bicycles is so friendly. I got in and out--easy peasy. They made me, a complete bike amateur, feel welcomed. It was super low-pressure and I dig that. I will be back for any other bike needs. I highly recommend.
Elizabeth Kenney: I had a wreck so I biked over. They brought me a first aid kit and then proceeded to adjust my slipping handlebars and wobbly brakes. They were so kind and wouldn't charge due to my accident. I will definitely go back and highly recommend the professional service.

Josh Box: Got a new freewheel put on my bike here. Service was ok but the guys seemed over it and uninterested. Also, came to pick up my bike and the air in my rear tire was low even though I dropped off the bike full up in both tires. Usually you get your bike back ready to ride away.
Jeff Larsen: I had a very unpleasant experience with The Bike Line and will not be giving them any more of my business. I brought my bike in to address an issue with the rear hydraulic brake and what should have been taken care of in a single visit took multiple trips because the service manager, Keegan, failed to properly determine the root cause of the issue (a leaking brake caliper) and then contaminated the new brake pads on the replacement caliper as well as a new rotor because of improper technique. When I questioned him over the phone why he deviated from the planned work which would have avoided this contamination he got very defensive and impatient with me. When I asked to speak to a manager he very rudely informed me that “I AM the service manager and THIS IS THE END OF THE LINE.” Eventually I was able to speak to an owner who was not at all understanding and instead came off as very evasive and passive-aggressive. I strongly recommend going to Grey Goat or BGI for bike service by competent professionals.

B Benson: Worst service customer service. I’ve witnessed multiple times when a passerby on a bike just needs to have something adjusted/tightened (seat post clamp, brake lever, etc.) and they just flat out say no. I was buying a small part in a pinch and had to help a customer with the tools I had in my car instead of the shop gaining a potential customer - they said they’d never buy anything from there. I’m in the area and I go out of my way to go elsewhere.

Ch IP: This was by no means an easy build. But by the time this project was complete, every single staff member had a part in helping me build my dream bike. Jason Myer: This is officially my new, and only, bike shop for sales and service. The experience I had my first time there is the epitome of customer service and shining example of a business that appreciates you and wants you to come back. In a nutshell, I brought in both mine and my fiancé‘s Electra Townie’s prepared to drop them off and spend hundreds of dollars on what I thought the bikes needed. After a quick assessment I was not only told that they did not need anywhere near what I thought they did, but because it was a simple adjustment, they took care of it right there on the spot and I had my bikes back on my Jeep and headed home. When I insisted on giving them something for their time and honesty all they said was “we just want you to come back.“I wish there was a way to give more than five stars. I will send everyone I know to The Bike Line.

He even offered to delivered the bikes for free the next day.While the bikes can be expensive, Bill was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. I’d definitely go back if I needed to get another bike one day or other items needed for bike.

Will Gemmel: New to serious biking. Wanted to see what they had. Looking for clipless pedals but wasn't settled on what to invest in, and didn't want to drop a fortune just to find out. Super helpful staff talked through their advice and guided me well. And amazingly they had a like new pair of shoes for dirt cheap, luckily in my exact size. Walked out with a used set of SPD's and crankbrothers, shoes, and cleats for less than the cost of new basic shoes!!!!!Great place to start learning!

It is also well located and easy to find. After I signed up my son I had a phone call from Tyre’k to confirm details, I explained that my daughter was too young for the camp but loves bikes and he welcomed her along too!

They serve the middle line of accessible hiking. That being said, they are still extremely knowledgeable and is great for repairs. They also have used parts from old bikes and accessories. They also sell completed bikes that either new or refurbished. You can really find some great deals there.
Kate: Terrible let down trying to sign up for camp. Unresponsive, no concern for the core mission of the program. LaNisha Clark did not help resolve the issue as she indicated she would, instead she and others blew us off. Our experience is Freewheelin Bikes is not community or child minded. We came to sign up in person, called, and emailed, but have been unable to get registered for weeks. No camp for my kid. No suggestions except maybe the company should find a director who follows through with concern for the community and kids.

Mark Davy: Brought my bike in for a tune up. They checked it over and told me everything looked great and it didn’t need the tune up. They even put some air in the tires and lube on the chain. Most places would’ve done the tune up regardless and taken my money. Won’t go anywhere else for service on our bikes.

Heath Hauflaire: Kinda sloppy work. I brought my mountain bike in for a spring service that I treat myself to (usually at another shop) every couple of years in which they were supposed to clean the frame and grease bearing, true wheels, replace cables, and bleed brakes as well as some other maintenance items. Frame came back cleaner but still dirty in areas, dropper cable cut too long and sticking out from under the lever, top tube cap not lined up, grease coming out of pivot points and axles. I’m now having to take my bike apart to clean and check the service myself and fix some of the issues since I’m not really sure or happy with some of what they did. They were very friendly and knowledgeable and the bike selection they carry is one of the best in the city. I thought I would try them out, but I will likely go to my regular shop in the future.

Tony Anderson: Wanted to change my drop bars to wide risers on my old ten speed. These guys (unlike other local shops) had all the right stuff in stock. Got me dialed in with everything I needed for cheap. An hour of work later and i’m ready to hit the roads again. Kyle was a huge help.
Daniel Guillaud: This shop is the best! They have really high end stuff without being elitist or snobby. Any time I have a weird question they answer it straight. They give great advice on bike and component selection. I feel a bit guilty because with all the supply chain issues my latest bike purchases have been from elsewhere, but they still treat me well when I come in for maintenance or mechanical help. Most recently they helped me fix a really annoying brake issue while I waited. I didn’t have to deal with the 2-week tune-up wait. I’m pretty sure they also adjusted my shifting without me having to ask because it worked better after than before. And they only charged me $10 for a problem I couldn’t fix myself after a couple hours of trying. My favorite bike shop in Indy, I’ll keep coming back! And someday I’ll buy a bike from them if they have the one I am looking for in stock or reasonably order able. I love browsing their selection of drool-worthy mountain bikes.
Scott Ritchie: Bought my daughters bike for use at college today. Great place. They spent as long with us as we needed until we were happy with the Bike that worked for my daughter. Answered all questions and made us feel comfortable with the bike she picked.

d b: The prices are very high. When I pay $100 (plus the nickel and diming) for a very basiç tune up it would be nice if you put some air in the tires. When I got home the air pressure was so low I couldnt ride my bike. Did you put the lowest air pressure possible as a favor to me? Also, the ray of sunshine at the front counter could learn how to lean a bike. When he brings my bike out while explaining to me exactly why i dont know anything it would be nice if my bike wasnt just haphazardly leaned on a display rack. Which brings up the questions, Why isnt there a bike rack on the sales floor of the bike shop? Why do people bringing bikes in just get looked at with a perplexed stare by the guy at the counter leaving them to be the ones to say " hey can i put this some where... or..... whats up??? This is only the most basic stuff i could go on an on about the dismal customer service but i digress. Im embarrassed for you and feel sorry for you. I sense that the bike shop bussiness is really hard for BOI.Sincerely David Grey Trek.

Alhassan Bayomy: I had a flat tire just the same day I changed my inner tube which was unfortunate. The staff were unwelcoming and pretty much rude. Their prices are unreasonably higher than the competition.and their customer service are very bad. I would not recommend not recommend this place to anyone. Horrible place.

He was very argumentive and rude. Horrible customer service. Also accused of just wanting free parts which is not true at all.

Jake Tribbett: My gf and I paid a visit to BOI on our lunch break from riding at Southwest Way. We are fairly new to MTBs and are picking up gear as we need it. Our visit was honestly one of my favorite parts of our day.We picked up some things we needed, got a few recommendations on products and trails, and learned a few valuable riding tips.To say the staff is friendly is an understatement. I don't think I've ever felt more welcome in a retail establishment.BOI is highly recommended and is where I'll be going when I'm in the Indy area.
