As if my question was moronic. I asked because the one on the "floor" had a white scratch on it. Remember that scene in pretty woman when Julia goes into a shop and gets rejected by the sales clerk. Well, that's what it felt like. Chatham House, you just lost a $1300 sale.Addition: 3/5 we purchased the unscratched piece that the sales clerk claimed to be "one of a kind" from Urban Styles Furniture @ 40% off, their retail price - which was also cheaper than Chatham Home. So we thank you for being rude. You saved us $400.Hello Hope. Had I seen your original response sooner, I would have contacted you right away. It sounded very sincere. As I mentioned before, I have shopped there often for home accessories. I googled to look up your hours of operation tonight. The blown glass on drift wood caught my eye and I was hoping to purchase one. It's unfortunate that your addition calls me a liar. Only confirms my review based on, not your product but your "customer service". I won't be returning. Thanks.

Susie Dawson: WARNING I am very disappointed with my experience at Pottery Barn. My husband bought bedding, including the Classic Organic Sheet Set I would never shop at this store again or any Pottery Barn. My husband and I bought these sheets on March 26, 2023. We had a king bed delivered on March 30, 2023. We washed the sheets March 30 before making up the new bed. When we got them out of the dryer on Wrinkle Care setting Permanent Press, they were beyond wrinkled - all scrunched up. We did not make the bed after seeing the sheets and went to the store to return them that same day. We were told they don't take back sheets once they are washed. Well, first, one does not sleep on the sheets until they are washed. And, they have to be washed before one knows they are 100% unacceptable. The salesperson got the manager for us, who told us this is store policy. He did not even want to look at the sheets for himself - totally indifferent to the issue. We spent a lot of money for a quilt, two quilt sham covers, and two linen duvets. They refused to make the issue right for the sheets. I said I would report them to the BBB and Attorney General of Indiana. They said to go ahead. I forgot small claims court and AmEx. I am getting my $169.00 back the hard way, since the easy way is not possible. Having read the small print on the receipt, it is not stated anywhere that this is a store policy. I am contacting Simon Mall about this store, too.
Anthony kirkpatrick: Bought a couch 2.75 weeks ago. A week before delivery they canceled my order my order because of problems overseas [terrible excuse for a week before delivery] . Called for support.. the first lady put me on hold when i asked if they would make it right and give me a discount on new purchase [i just moved & have been without a couch so this it's a big deal as planned my move in around the delivery of a new couch] and immediately hung up on me. Called back sat on the phone for 35 minutes just told me they will give me no discount. Now after wasting 2.5 weeks waiting .. I have to go shopping again for a new couch and start the process over. This company has wasted ample amount of my time and doesn't seem to care. Basically telling me to kick rocks.. funny thing.. I was going Saturday to buy a dresser and bed from them.. but it appears they don't care about my businessThe second lady I talked to in the phone was nice but management doesnt care about customers. And with the first lady hanging up on me [yes I was polite].. id say the company absolutely does not care about their customers. Shop some where else!!!!!!
L Hill: Great experience with ordering a bedroom set. The sales lady was so nice and personable on a busy evening. We received our delivery on time. We had an issue with the quality of our headboard but we were directed to contact customer service and the process of getting a new headboard was simple. They were very responsive and helpful. With the shortages of everything today, I was very pleasantly surprised with my experience! I took one star away, not because of the service at the store....but because PB charges SO much for shipping and delivery! We ordered 4 pieces so it was fine but it wouldn't be worth it if we only ordered one piece.
Mariah: Pottery Barn products and quality are great, but their lack of customer service as a whole is disappointing. They refused to offer a discount or make it right after they delivered the wrong color of a 2 month backordered item. I now have to wait 3 more months for the correct item because of their mistake. I will not buy from PB, West Elm, or Williams Sonoma (all companies they own).
Shannon Lamb: We completely redid our bedding a week ago and needed a lot of help. There are so many layers.. the sales associate, Frank, really helped us. It took a minute for me to explain what I was looking for, but he listened and brought out the perfect duvet cover! We ended up getting a full sheet set, 2 throw pillows & covers to match the duvet + another blanket. It was a pricey investment, but totally worth it. The sheets are SO LUXURIOUS. They are the Tencel lyocell sheets and you literally just glide right into them. I am absolutely obsessed!!

The bed was damaged and replaced. The expensive dresser was broken, the drawer would not open and it was refused and put back on the delivery truck to be returned. It’s now October 20th and Pottery Barn has still not provided me a refund check. I continue to fight with them, each time I call customer service I’m provided different info about when the check is being processed or if it’s processed. Just want my money. I will not buy again from here nor do I recommend anyone else!

So I guess my order can just be for next year.Pottery Barn really need to change your expectations to recieve it by dates.I mean ordered in the beginning of April and not receiving till August is pretty crazy even in these crazy times.
Mukta Umarani: I wanted to share my experience with the Pottery Barn . I spent $400 on a comforter and shams (king size) which I use only occasionally . So this 1st time I washed the comforter after I bought it last year. It is supposed to be machine washable. And unfortunately color bleeds heavily. With one wash it's completely unusable now. I called customer care and they said they can give a 10% refund which is a joke for a completely unusable comforter now !!
Ben Pearson: Would be five stars, but the $4000+ couch I bought arrived damaged, the replacement was also damaged, but third time was the charm and they did manage to eventually get me a great couch. At least they eventually got one that wasn't. I've bought several pieces of furniture here and have been happy with all of them. Some is made in America and some overseas...they could be more clear on the origin. For the price of some of the furniture it should be made here.
Stacy Hall: Worst customer service. I have been waiting on $260 for a refund on a damaged item that was delivered twice. I’ve been working with Customer service since 5/13 and everyone I speak to says they are sorry and will get the issue resolved. We thought we were doing PB a favor by saving them money and accepting $260 on a damaged piece instead of continuing the cycle of returns until they delivered a quality product. Every item that comes from OH distribution is damaged and every item has to go back at least once. The price compared to quality is not equal. PB may never pay me my money but I can guarantee I will never spend another dime in store or online

Got bumped up to a supervisor who told me there was absolutely no way to fix the problem. When I asked them to ship it from a store inventory she said it wasn't possible and told me she generated a refund because there was nothing she could do. Don't buy from this store online. Their strategy for over selling items is to send you a coffee mug with your initial on it.

They said they would call me back after checking their system; they never did. I have had to spend hours on the phone with customer service to resolve the issues that started in the store. I know this is a trying time for all, but I am so disappointed in the service here. I do not recommend using Crate and Barrel for any furniture needs. There are nearby stores with far superior customer service.

This is when it went downhill we had picked out 4 American flag pinwheels for t our sidewalk in the summer. After waiting in line for a register we were told that the pinwheels had been discontinued and they couldn't sell them to us. We asked well what are you going to do with them the cashier said they would go in back then get thrown away. We are no we will pay for them! She said nope I can't sell them to us and showed us her screen. Doesn't make sense so I won't go back.

Mariah: I ordered a chair from West Elm in cream but they mistakenly delivered navy blue. The original order was 2 months backordered and I now have to wait 3 additional months for the correct color because of their error. They won’t offer a discount or anything to make it right.Also, the lack of customer service options is such a hassle. You have to call in every time you need something and the wait times are ridiculous. There’s no email customer service option. Do not recommend.
Regina Vaughn: Let me start by saying I have a lot of West Elm products in my mid century home and have been happy with my purchases UNTIL I purchased a sofa with a chaise two months ago. The cushion in the chaise is overfilled in one compartment and under filled in the top one. Since they are individual compartments in the chaise cushion, you can’t fluff them and distribute the fill in the low areas making the chaise uncomfortable to sit on. The company won’t do anything about a sofa I had for two months! If a company can’t stand behind their product then I can no longer buy from West Elm and make sure I let everyone know not to buy there.

Geist Nails: I believe this is the worst buying experience I have ever had to gone through. I ordered some furniture back in August of 2021. A couple of months in, we decided to cancel the order because they kept delaying the order for delivery. By the February of 2022, they were still delaying the order for delivering. By this time we called about 4 times to cancel the order. They denied the order and will not accept our cancellation. Next thing you know, they sent home a credit card statement charged for the order. I called them to explain we cancelled. They said “not to worry” they will take care of everything. After a few weeks, they sent us a gift card not knowing what it was for. After that, the credit card sent us a balance of the amount on the gift card. At this point, I was done with dealing with West Elm. I would not work with them at all playing dirty tricks. We called them about this and the rep said they’ll take care of it. Now we had to call Capital One to dispute the charge, they denied the dispute even though I called about that incident as well. I literally had the worst experience with this company with service. I regret ordering anything from them. I thought they would be a reputable company being it is located in a high end mall. Dirty people playing dirty tricks. Be careful please!

First, it wouldn’t come off the registry to avoid duplicates. I guess that worry was unnecessary as the item was actually back ordered. Ok, so it’ll come a couple days after the wedding. It’s 2022, so we can be patient. Now, they keep moving the shipping date, the product STILL shows in-stock (it’s not), and I’m wondering if the product will ever arrive.

Debra Mason: I'm getting ready to place an order for end tables that I've been in love with for years. They say I will receive in a week, but I cannot for the life of me understand why it takes over a month to get bedding? It would seem that while other retailers have recovered from pandemic delays, getting some things at West Elm is tantamount to getting toilet paper a year ago.
J A: Firstly, no price match. Secondly, It is very hard to cancel the order. I have to wait for 48 hours to see if the order could be canceled. And, according to the customer service, it is impossible to get the white gloves delivery fee back because the order just shipped out from the vendor to their delivery center. Even the order is not scheduled to deliver, they are still not going to refund the delivery fee.
HONGXIA REN: I purchased a mirror on Oct 1st. Within a week, the price was reduced by $100. I called the customer service for price adjustment. My request was denied after I called two representatives. I got different responses from different representatives. I couldn't even cancel the purchase, though the item has not been shipped based on the information on my end. Price adjustment within a week of purchase was provided by other businesses, yet not available at West Elm. The customer service gave inconsistent answers. The webpage of West Elm does not allow product review from customers. I was a loyal customer before. However, I no longer think their service is customer-friendly. Plus, the quality of some West Elm products is not justified for the price tag.

My boyfriend and I came in when it was a less busy Saturday morning and there were two other people in the store. There were 5 employees standing around the cash wrap and we were ignored for a solid 5-10 minutes. Brittany Green: My sister purchased a dresser from here a few years back. She kept noticing little piles of saw dust in and around the dresser when she had her house checked for termites. She had the tech look at the dresser. HE said those were caused by by wood boring beetles and they would have come in the dresser. They are not native to the states and there was no other evidence of them existing in the house. He tried to treat it but they will not go away. She contacted the store and they said there was nothing they could doing seeing that she had purchased it more than a year ago. I would be hesitant of buy any untreated wood furniture from this store. That's what these beetles like to burrow in. She is now sitting a $600+ dresser on the curb with a note because she doesn't even feel comfortable donating it.
