IU Health Sleep Disorders Center - Indianapolis Sleep Center: what do users think?
Jason Chew: Provided great patient care. Ent above and beyond explaining everything and what to expect.
S c: Omg who wrote other reviews?Do Not BELIEVE NOT same.My timeI was treated like high paying client!!Ryan thank you !!!Your Staff was AMAZING 👏VERY PROFESSIONAL RESPECTFULTEAM
Sue Silberberg: This place is an absolute disaster! They are rude, disorganized and impossible to reach. They don’t return phone calls and don’t care. You have wait months for service. I would look for another clinic if you need sleep apnea services.
Anthony Oliver: Very caring bunch of individuals. My care team Chuck and Chris took care of my every need
Dan Bright: This sleep disorder center was a NIGHTMARE.Agree with other reviews - really poor communication. Next steps are unclear and it is impossible to get a hold of anyone in the center because the call goes to some central line.First, was told I need a sleep study and will receive a call for options. Nothing for over a week.Second, I need to pick up the home sleep test and immediately return it the next morning. Who has time to keep taking days off to run these errands??Third, you wait until you get called for the results. No idea what to do with the results since there is no guidance on options. No results sent to me. You have to set up another appointment with the doctor... and oh, it's going to be two months from now.
Otha Scott: They are very good. And they are hands on. They are very good at answering all your questions.
Joseph Zielinski: Horrible communication. Did sleep study in January and no one called me with results. It then took three months to get a doctor’s appointment. Once I finally got the machine it didn’t work. I would’ve been better off just guessing at how to use machine then the hour I wasted with a therapist supposedly learning how to use the machine.
Samantha Stillings: This was my second sleep study this time was my cpap one I had the tech named Derrick he was a absolute pleasure to work with very attentive and very polite we had a fantastic conversation about cats and other stuff he made my sleep session a absolute pleasure and comfortable experience I am attaching a photo of my cats that we were talking about if you get the pleasure to work with Derrick you will also have a pleasure to have him as a tech
James: I went here for a sleep and nap study. The people were great but at the evening time instead of people being quiet in the room they were in the walls are paper thin and I could hear everyone talking and it kept me awake at night. Amd caused me to wake up now I've gott get a different test done again.....
carrie white: Hi I just had my Sleep Study there yesterday May 20th. I had tech name Derrick with my Sleep Study just want to say he was nice guy. The room I had was nice and clean. The people there are nice.
Cliffy C: They helped. Me a. Lot
Bruce Cutler: Had to wait one month for a visit. Scheduled for a in-home sleep study and waited a week and a half and called back and they lost my order. They put the order in and had to wait another week and called back before they finally scheduled me. I hope the rest of the study actually is worth the time.
John Weymouth: Great people that are there to assist us in getting a good nite sleep. Be nice to them and they will be nice to you. I have always had wonderful experience with them.
Michael Fiandt: The billing for this branch of IU is scandalous. I purchased a new CPAP though the West Side Sleep Center and have had nothing but trouble. They did not bill my insurance company, then said they sent me an invoice which was not deliverable but then they somehow miraculously figured out my address after several months. The first correspondence I received was a threat to send me to collections. (the first receipt of any bill from them) Of course none of the bills had any tangible information that related to anything and I had no EOB from my insurance showing where they had filed it. After numerous calls, they filed with my insurance and sent a statement highlighting the actual charges. Fast foward three months and I just received 5 more bills from them with no explanation or EOB from insurance showing where they filed it again. Save yourself the aggravation and just buy these supplies on-line; it will end up being less expensive and you won't have to put up with their incompetence or malfeasance.

American Sleep Medicine: what do users think?
Ana villegas: This place is closed
Angela Fitzgerald: Former Employee hired in Indianapolis but sent to Louisville for training. A month into it I still had not received pay. After speaking to human resources FINALLY....was told they filed chapter 11 bankruptcy...for SOME reason I still did not get paid for a thing!!!!!
Jon Kranz at home: I moved to the area less than two years ago and Dr. Ornowski has been my doctor pretty much since I got here. I have no complaints. My sleep study was flawless. My sleep tech was very helpful and friendly. And anytime I’ve had an issue the staff has been able to help me. I think some of these reviews were written by people who must’ve had a bad night sleep or something because their experience doesn’t track at all with mine.
Jason Hale: I've been treated here for several years. It was rocky at first, but much improved. Specifically the staff, and especially Dr Vora. He is a really good, friendly doctor and he delivers good information. They have always been helpful and responsive to me.I left 4 stars because I don't like their equipment supplier, but that seems to be all that is available. Also, I would have preferred a higher quality machine.
angela barrett: I can not say the tech that I had was not nice he was helpful but I will say that I called to get my results on a Friday and was told they would be read Monday and would be back with me no later than Tuesday. Wednesday comes about 2 pm still no call so I call them. The tech I had that not told me that he could give me my exact results but they were worse than my last five years ago. They told me I did not snore at all that night which I know there is no way my husband will tell you I snore 75 to 80 percent of my sleep. I would not recommend this place to anyone and now I am probably out of luck with trying to get another one done and paid by insurance.
caleb spicer: 1 star since zero is not an option. No one in this office will be an advocate for you. The front office themselves state that the 2 doctors there are just contracted, there's no accountability of any kind, and they are too concerned for covering their own butts then owning up to mistakes. The only reason an appeal was done on my wife's sleep study was because we told them to call our insurance company while I watched them do it. Otherwise my wife was in limbo since THIS JUNE waiting to hear from these clowns. Do not, I repeat DO NOT waste your time with this facility.
MorrisCutz: I was told three weeks ago somebody would reach out to them when I call they are rude repeating the same things but not fixing the issue
Bridget Irby: After completing my sleep study. I had to call several time to request results that I only received because my Dr office requested them. I was told someone would call me to schedule an appointment to get CPAP. I’ve never heard from anyone and will find another provider. Doing business with America Sleep Medicine was way too much work with NO RESULTS!
Kay Cares: OMG!!!!talk about over kill in paper work! Second visit! I have to once again fill out packet and prove who I am! Wth! In less than a month time still have no answers in what’s wrong! The staff acts as if you’re a liar
Kristine Low: Very bare bones clinical setting. I went three times. My first time I walked in visibly coughing and having congestion. Wasn’t until 10pm I was hooked up with wires to go to bed. They then revealed to me at 3am that you cannot have a cold with this test. So I felt dumb and went home, wish they saw immediately I needed to come another time. Then I took a test a few weeks later, after rescheduling twice bc technicians were too sick for work. It was flu season so I understood. This time I had a great technician and she knew her stuff! I showed up early at 7pm to avoid a late bed time like before. I was sleeping so severely that at 3am they woke me up and said “you’re not breathing!! Put on this mask!” I basically had a panic attack and couldn’t go back to sleep. So I came back again, and I slept with a 20year old mask (according to the medical supplier who saw my paperwork) they don’t make anymore. Now I have a CPAP with modern equipment that fits so much better. Why they didn’t use modern masks is beyond me. Very frustrating. I would have done better with the F20 mask.I’ve been to sleep studies that are cleaner with nicer bedding, things like that. This was pretty bare bones. I had to call to get my results after the test, too.
Thomas Darling: If it were possible to give a lower score I would. I have never seen such incompetence in my life. When arrived for my sleep test I was hooked up by a technician that I found out later was a trainee. After having my sleep interrupted countless times because I had not been connected correctly, I had them remove their wires and I went home. I should have never returned for testing again, but I did. On my next trip hook up went well, but I never received results from my test. After waiting over 2 weeks I called the office for my results. They said they had meant to call but had forgotten. Results of the completed test required me to come in for another test. Once again I was not contacted by the office for my results. There are other companies that do this testing, I would strongly recommend that you go to them.
Domino Effect: I guess spelling is difficult for the office staff? I called to schedule an appt as a new patient. I was told I would receive a confirmation email with the address and such, along with the new patient forms. This was on a Wed. By the following Monday, I still hadn't received anything from them. I decided to just cancel and I'll go to my normal doctor. It took several minutes for them to find my account due to incorrect name spelling. When I give someone my name for the first time, I actually spell it out; both the first and last name. I did this 3-4 times originally, since she couldn't seem to grasp the concept. Like A for apple, b for boy, c for cat. My name is not difficult by any means and ordinary, so I'm not sure what the issue is. That was this am and now after 5pm, I receive a confirmation email for the appt.... which I cancelled this morning........When I called, no one answered the phone, but there is also no voicemail so the phone just dials and then nothing. Now I have to call back tomorrow and cancel the appt again...since it is still an active appt on their end. If this is how it is just trying to get in there, I can't imagine the quality of care within the facility. Find another doctor in the area.
Matt B: Terrible service and misdiagnosis. Goto st vincent sleep center for much better service and equipment. Very dissatisfied.
Fab Fusion: The problem with this place is communication. They do not explain the whole process and you are treated as a number. So, to clarify: they ONLY do the sleep study. The doctors are from another office. The machines are from another provide and American Sleep Medicine will not communicate with them for you. They are only interested in doing the sleep study. Doctors see patients at their location but they do not belong to their office. Once, I scheduled an appointment with my doctor and when I arrived I was seen by a nurse practitioner I did no know and no one told me that I would not be seeing the doctor prior to the appointment. I had to retell emotional painful stories all over again for their complete lack of empathy. The one person who did my sleep study was nice but overall customer service lacks compassion and it is just the minimum effort necessary to charge you for something. Apparently, they have high turnover because at least 2 people I worked with the last 6 months are no longer there.Bottom line: I had my sleep study about 6 moths ago and still no solution. No CPAP. No results.
Matthew Pieper: No understanding of customer service what so ever. They preferred to argue their point than to listen to mine or admit they were wrong. It started off by not being able to get an appointment set up because of their lack of communication with my doctors office. The first study, they did not recognize the condition and never put the cpap on to measure pressures. It wasn't until the day after the test, that they let you know what the outcomes were and that you need to return for a second study and a second payment.Plan on going back to do 2 seperate studies and be charged for both because of their lack of qualified people to read the first study at the time of the study. This is their standard operating procedure, per corporate office. Our insurance company recommended American Sleep Medicine because of being less expensive. What the insurance company didn't realize was standard operating procedure is to do 2 studies.
Ham Yankee: Diagnosed with sleep apnea, but only weeks after several calls of leaving messages with reception. After poor follow--up, it really seemed like they didn't want my money.
Thaddeus Rex: While I've not yet been treated but will say the office staff here has been extremely helpful in finding an appointment. Super friendly. Even called me back later in the day to let me know they had a cancellation and I could get a date I had preferred. Thank you to Deanna and the rest of the team!!
Katelyn Wilburn: My husband had a sleep study in September of '16. He was diagnosed with sleep apnea. It is January '17 and still no CPAP. Someone dropped the ball and what's worse is no one will answer the phone at this office and the voicemail is full. Very irritated and highly dissatisfied.
Kevin Kiser: Sleep study went ok and they said I was border line sleep apnea or however you spell it. They called often wanting to do another sleep study to fit me for a cpac machine but I turned them down saying I didn't want to use one since I was borderline. Now one year later they send me a big bill saying my insurance didn't cover all of the $4800 sleep study. Wow, what I surprise that was. First for the amount it cost, and for the late billing. No phone number was on the bill anywhere so I looked up the local place and called them. They gave me the corporate number in Florida where the bill came from. Lady said they had my address wrong but finally looked it up. they circled the 121 days past due amount in red like I had been ignoring their bills or something. Now what do you think insurance will say over a year from the sleep study? Flex spending accounts are different and all. Very unprofessional in my opinion.

ARORA Specialty Sleep Clinic: what do users think?
Todd Fair: As a Firefighter for over 26 years I rarely get a full nights sleep. That sometimes carries over to my home life. Snoring has become a problem not only for quality of sleep but frustration of keeping my wife up as well. I contacted Brian and Dr Green about my options. After receiving my appliance, I have never slept better! I wake now feeling rested and not tired throughout the day. My wife says the snoring has been much better and she now is able to sleep through the night. The staff at Arora has been second to none with customer service and their attention to detail. I would give my full recommendation to not only the staff but the products that Arora has to offer.Todd FairFirefighterPlainfield Indiana
John Smith: Don't get a CPAP until you check this out first! I snore like a freight train, in every possible position, and Dr Kristi helped me stop, immediately! I cannot believe how well this actually worked! Worth every penny!
Jeff McPherson: Game changer! I am now sleeping throughout the night and don't feel exhausted in the morning! It also helps me from grinding my teeth! I wish I would have known about this years ago. I am happy that Brian Evans told me about the device!
Lucky Luecke: Highly recommend ARORA Sleep Clinic! Dr Green has an abundance of knowledge on this subject & couldn't be more pleased. Steve & his Staff displayed excellent & friendly, customer care & service throughout the process. My sleep issues have greatly improved. Thank you! Highly recommend!
Advance Filter: Dr. Steve Green and his staff have been fantastic to work with. I have been using an oral device for sleep apnea for several years and just recently upgraded to the newest model. Absolutely worth it to get good sleep and not have to mess with the hoses and cpaps.Krista in the office has gone above and beyond in helping out with the process as well.Highly recommend!
Chris C: Works like a dream! No more snoring. No more having wifey wake me up for snoring. No more getting kicked out of bed for snoring. No more getting kicked out of the room for snoring. Hard to believe but it’s true. Worth the money.

St.Vincent Indianapolis Sleep Center: what do users think?
Zeth Miru: The sleep study went amazing! But i need answers!! Its been two months and haven’t recieved any calls regarding my daughters results! Trying to call but the machine always answers and when i left a message a lady called me back! And she gave me a number so I Can call and ASK for my daughters results. I been calling this number but at the end of the beeps it just hangs up on me! Nobody answers and it seems like the line is broken or something!!
Cooper Zuranski: All staff is wonderful, getting ahold of them to communicate is near impossible
MEGAN PRYCE: Every other person and phone number I call at St. Vincent is very helpful and reachable. The sleep study person is neither. I have called four different times in the last week and cannot get ahold of a person; I continue getting an answering machine, no matter when I call during business hours. In addition, they say they call me, but there has never been an message left in order to explain. This is the worst service I have had at St. Vincent. I would go back to St. Francis, even without the pediatric unit if I could. This is ridiculous.
LARRY STRAWBRIDGE: I called, got an appointment with a sleep doctor right away...easy-peasy...no problemo! Excellent sleep lab, BTW. Dr. Mohan...one of the best!
Sandi Tavel: The Sleep Disorder Center is very slow to nonexistent in returning phone calls. Keep trying to call if you need to schedule a sleep study and they may call you back some day.
