Shanna Banks: Don’t waste your time at this location. The customer service is terrible. One lady sat behind the counter playing on her phone and the other would only help her friend who was in the store. Carmel and other locations have better customer service selection and are actually picked up. I like the brand but this place lost my sale.

Celieboo: 2/2/23: Their posted hours were wrong for Thursdays. I drove all the way over there only to have them lock the door right as I was walking towards the store about 5 minutes before 6 pm. They claim that they can't seem to get Google to fix it.So don't waste your time trying to go there after work on Thursdays.I went to Google maps and suggested a change to their hours when I got back to my car. About 7 minutes later, I received an email from Google approving my recommended changes to their hours. It's funny how that works! I hope the update that I made helps others.Update 2/4/23: I returned because I really value a good bra fitting and quality bras. I had a fantastic experience. The whole staff was friendly and apologized for the hours mix up and even thankedbme for returning. My salesperson (initials AMK) was excellent.The shop was clean and well organized. I initially was concerned because I didn't see any bras on the racks; however, I quickly learned that they have an expansive store room in the back. My salesperson mentioned NY favorite brand, Fantasie, first and I knew I was in the right place. They also have a wide variety of other top brands.I am really glad that I came back and I look forward to returning in the future
Kay Meyers: I HATE bra shopping just in general. Nothing ever fits and anything close to my size is always gray and frumpy. I’ve tried Torrid, Soma, and so many others and they all pale in comparison to Barbara’s. Barbara’s is the only place I will go to now! My stylist, Amber, did an amazing job finding me a size and matching to my style. The appointment was fast and comfortable and I couldn’t be happier! (Also the last time I was in was 3 years ago and the quality of the bras is unbeatable and I fully expect the bras I bought today to last just as long)
Lindsay Lester: I used to love this store. It is the only store in Indy that (used to) know how to properly fit a bra. Unfortunately, the service has declined. My last visit I left with two bras that are not correctly sized. I shouldn't have bought them but I did. I could go back to try again and exchange what I have but I'd rather not. I told the lady fitting me that what she brought me was too big but she couldn't be bothered to listen or re-measure, just argued with me. I wish there were other local options!I plan to sell the bras I have and I'll just go back to using Third Love. It takes longer to use online/mail services but Third Love's fit guarantee is worth it.

My daughter blew her knee out and wasn't able to make her appointment, so I went in her place to help her find anything tight fitting to wear under her wedding dress. The ladies acted like I was a leper and I am still not quite sure as to why they wouldnt let me spend the 250.00 I was prepared to spend to make my daughter look and feel beautiful on her big day. I traveled to Indy from Germany to help in any way possible, and not only was I turned away, I am seething enough to leave this review. I dont even want to give one star. Never. Again. Barbara.

Jessica Henry: The hours of operation aren’t very customer friendly, but when I found myself with some free time in the middle of the day, I stopped in. I was asked if I had an appointment, which I did not. No worries said the greeter - I didn’t need one, only to then be told by someone else that they didn’t have any openings and to come back in an hour. There was only one other customer in the store, all the fitting rooms appeared open, and the appointments for which I was being eschewed weren’t to start for another 15 minutes. I don’t think these folks want my money. If that were my business, I’d never let a sale walk out the door. Disappointed.
Sandra Porter: I don’t do reviews , I waited a long time hoping Things got better. I went there in about 2014 and got a wonder fitting and great bras, that I still have and are fine. The name of bra Goddess. I have lost about 45 pounds and went for new bra in summer 2021. The young girl fitted me with very tight bras, give me extendsSaid they would stretch out. If I gain 5 lbs I barely get them on and can’t wait to take off. These are very very tight, shoulder straps will not stay up. I find ways to get out of wearing a bra. I paid a lot of money for bras I don’t went to wear. Bottom line just like shoes , don’t buy bras that don’t fit you there, because they never will no, matter what you are told.

Lynn Swayze: I’ve purchased a few times from this store and they are amazingly helpful and have an incredible amount of stock.Unfortunately, due to COVID they only take appointments now and didn’t answer the phone when I called 1.5 hours before arriving. I was going to spend $300-$400 between my daughter and I, but will be taking my business online since I since I don’t live in-town.I still highly recommend them, but do call days ahead. (I did not.) I hope they get an online booking mechanism soon.

Had some elective surgery to address something I've hated all my life & then afterwards had no idea what size I was or how to find what fit well AND felt good on. NEVER liked buying (or wearing) bras. To go from there to being completely pampered and fitted for each bra (she adjusted them on me how they were supposed to fit me) and Ohmygoodness!!! Combine all that with the quality of the fabrics and every single luxury detail on the bras themselves ... I honestly never knew wering a bra could be so comfortable. It was all very worth it. Very personalized. Very professional. Quality products. Highly recommend!!!
Hannah Nelson: I had my first ever fitting today with Riley. She took she back into the fitting room and had me remove my shirt, and measured around my ribcage with my bra still on; from there, she was able to go and pick a few bras out for me to try. She did help me into them, so I was bare chested for that part of the fitting, but she was honestly so kind and accommodating that I didn’t feel uncomfortable or insecure about it at all. I pretty much knew which bras I wanted in the first 20 minutes of the appointment, and I was out the door about 45 minutes after I stepped in with 2 brand new bras which fit me SO well. I couldn’t recommend this place highly enough, Riley especially was an amazing fitter!

Katherine Drake: I'm a big girl and I bought a backless dress to wear to my daughter's wedding, without thinking about what to wear under it. Carla said she didn't think they had anything that would work with the dress, but suggested I come back the next day for a fitting in case I needed to have support sewn into my dress. The next day I came back with my dress. In no time Carla had the perfect bra in the perfect size. It completely changed the fit of the dress! I love the dress even more now than when I bought it.

Emily Knodle: I called and made a fitting appointment for my mom and me. When we walked in, I was worried because I didn't see many bras. I saw silk pajamas, silk robes, and lingerie. However, Carla took me back to the fitting rooms and whipped me into shape so fast. She only measured my band size - didn't even do the cup measurement. And the first bra she brought me was almost the perfect fit. I ended up trying on more than I expected only because I was having trouble making a decision. Every single time I gave her feedback on the fit of a bra, she'd come back with the perfect bra to fix that feedback. In the end, I chose a bra I never expected to like, but it has provided the perfect balance of support and lift.We don't have a specialty bra store in my city. John Cook: I now have three pair of Saxx shorts, two pair of the Frontier walking shorts and a new pair of the Kinetics Run shorts…guys, no kidding these are the most comfortable shorts you will ever wear! I had my first run with the Kinetic shorts today and it was great. “Everything” stays in place, wicking, breathable and you wont feel restricted. Looks like I’ll be getting another pair!!! Best running/workout shorts I now own!I got a pair of the Frontier shorts last summer and after wearing them once I immediately got a second pair. You simply MUST get a pair of SAXX shorts…COMFORTABLE, stylish and simply the best shorts you will own.Size is true and care is easy. Pop them in the washer and let air dry (they dry pretty fast). You can dress the Frontier shorts up or go casual with a t-shirt.
Jennifer Aspy: Being a “less endowed” woman, I had never considered getting fitted for a bra by a professional. However, when I heard of a recent new store Uplift Intimate Apparel, I decided to take the “plunge” and make an appointment. And I am so happy I did. Carla, the owner, personally assisted me with finding the correct size and fit – with discretion. She asked questions about what features I liked, didn’t like, and brought me options to personally meet my needs. Her inventory is beautiful with a variety to select from. Much to my surprise – I have been wearing the wrong bra size for over 40 years! Now that I have found the right size, I feel more comfortable and have better posture! Madeline Poteet: I had an extremely poor experience. I purchased a bra and then went home to try it on in the comfort of my own home and in my own circumstances. The bra was extremely itchy and uncomfortable. It started to give me a rash after about 10 minutes of wearing it. I immediately took it off (it still had the tags on) and decided i must return it. To my surprise, the owner and another employee informed me that i was not allowed a refund, only a store credit. On a $200 bra, that is extremely ridiculous. I was NEVER informed of the return policy while purchasing. They purposefully don't inform customers of this because they are only interested in making a sale. The sales associate should be REQUIRED to inform the customer of the policy BEFORE they purchase the item. They were unwilling to help me or listen to anything i had to say regarding my unhappiness with the product. They are crooks. they are not willing to make anyone happy. Do not shop here if you want any kind of professional experience. Absolutely awful business model.

I called beforehand to see if they had what I was looking for and Carla checked her inventory to make sure she could accommodate me. When I arrived at the store, she was quick to help me and made me feel very comfortable. She even called another store to see if they had something that would work for me. I ended up purchasing from Carla. I loved the swimsuit she found me and even more than that, I loved the service she provided. You won't find a better shopping experience in the area. I live about two hours north of Carmel but there is no reason for me not to make the trip down for all my future lingerie needs. Thank you so much Carla for going above and beyond for me.

Jennifer Mast: Was greeted and I promptly asked for assistance. Got sized and was shown suggestions. She pulled my sizes and showed her expertise, knowing which bras fit a certain way and which were top sellers. What can often be a challenging shopping experience was enjoyable. Jaimie: Clothes were great, staff was not. Two ladies working Saturday evening. They never left from behind the register or leaning on the back room door unless they had too. We were not greeted, they did yell hello’s from the back for a couple other clients while we were there. No offer to help or ask what we were looking for. Had to wave them down to get a dressing room opened. (We were the only customers in the store for most of our visit) No rack to put clothes I didn’t want on, when I asked where to put them they were taken from me and put on the back counter and the worker went back to leaning on the wall. They were still there when we left. My elderly mother asked to use the bathroom, she was rudely told no. I get it, it’s not a public bathroom, but say that. Pretend to be nice. Don’t just bark out “No” and nothing more. We cut our shopping short, only spent $200, that was quite a bit less then our plan. Went to check out, no “Did you find everything? “ or anything similar. Other employee was leaning on the wall eating Cheetos. We won’t be back to the physical store anytime soon. We will order online.

Destini Turner: PLEASE READ AND TAKE CAUTION!Me and a friend went to this location on Sunday Feb.12th. As soon as we walked in, CONNER (a short caucasian male sales associate with glasses and brown hair) meet us right at the door and asked for our IDs. I did not think this was weird until I realized he ONLY asked us, no other customers entering the store.As we’re looking at products, Conner and the other sales associate (did not get her name) hovered over us the entire 30 minutes we were in the store. Every time we went to look or pick something up, Conner proceeded to tell us about the item, without us even asking. It was to the point we could not even shop in peace. The only time we were given space was when we were in the dressing room. Which I want to say the dressing rooms have notes posted saying that their employees are rewarded for catching shoplifters and they also use “secretive” cameras/ software to catch thieves.Again, when we exited the dressing room, we were followed. Up until we checked out. Even AFTER I checked out, I was waiting on my friend to get done so I was smelling the perfume. The female associate hovered over me. Despite there being 3-4other customers in the store.I was made to feel very uncomfortable and unwelcome. We did not have big purses, clothes, or coats on. I have never experienced this treatment at the Greenwood location. And if you’re wondering, yes we are women of color. Based off how we were treated, and the fact that they have notes all over the store saying they have a reward system to catch thieves, I can’t help but think this was racial motivated. Of course the employees would say otherwise.

Jana Quillin: I’ve come here a handful of times over the years and not only are the employees extremely helpful, but the whole atmosphere is incredibly safe and inviting! They have tons of options for clothes, toys and gag gifts too. The employees are super helpful and they definitely make sure to help you feel comfortable asking questions. I will not go anywhere else, definitely work the drive for me!

Savannah Pugliese: Looked like a cool place right up until the cashier accused me of shoplifting. As if I would go to an adult store to steal mints. We went to cirilla's just up the road and bought what we needed instead.
Emily Malone: Difficult to shop if you're a pluz size woman. They carry plus size options that are impossible to find because they're all mixed in with the straight sized clothing. As a plus size woman, that is really defeating and makes me not want to even bother. Associate was very nice, though. Just wish the layout was a little more plus size friendly.

Karen Lippincott: Great store, horrible to get to. I just wanted to pick up an internet order and almost didn't make it in time there or to my next destination. It's a huge multi story mall with paid parking and lots of walking and searching. Getting out was a nightmare it took almost 30 minutes because the card reader broke and they wouldn't let you leave without their $3. Good place for a whole day of shopping. Not convenient at all for a quick pick up.

So finally I get rung up and the girl asked was everything okay as I told her my frustration about my experience she cut me off and made up excuses as to why I has a bad experience
Kaniya Brown: Didn't seem like they were to busy and was properly staffed but it was hard to get help to try on bras. No one was answering the bussers in fitting room so I had to keep getting redressed to get back undressed when trying things out and finding an associate. After 1.5 I got frustrated and just left.

Robyn Kinsey: I went to the Soma in Clay Terrace in Carmel, Indiana location on May 25, 2019. There was a sales associate that assisted me by the name of Shurice. (Not sure of the proper spelling of her name). She was African-American woman around the 50ish age. She was extremely helpful to me during my visit. It was a refreshing experience to have someone be so cheerful and patient with me. I have had many horrible experiences when I shop, so I don't really care for shopping that much. Many times I've asked for assistance , and I am either ignored or treated like a nuisance for asking a sales associate for assistance. Shurice, treated me with respect and understanding. It was an excellent experience for me to encounter someone who shows compassion and courtesy. I feel that she is an asset to Soma. You have a keeper with her! I will be a regular customer as long as she is an employee!

Carisa Richardson: I had the best experience on 4/20/17 with Shea in the Carmel, IN Store! I had previously ordered MANY bras online that did not fit properly and had to come into the store to return them. I cannot say enough great things about Shea, she made me feel comfortable, didn't give me a hard time about my return but in fact helped me get into many new bras that are my actual size. Every woman knows that finding the right bra is highly difficult, so it was such a breath of fresh air to have her assistance that night. I walked out with WAY more than I came to return and feel so comfortable and happy in my new bras! Shea also helped me avoid a wedding catastrophe by getting me into a backless bra for my wedding dress! She turned my day around and I will NEVER shop anywhere else for bras, panties, or lingerie!

Alex Carter: Great plus sized clothing store. The staff are super friendly and attentive, and I like the interesting designs of the clothes. My only complaint is that recently the store has been closed at odd times due to staffing shortages, but this likely is a temporary measure. Also, some of the clothing quality has declined over the past year, such as with the thickness of their tshirts, but other items are still good quality. Would highly recommend.
