BA Bernier: This is the first time I have been to this Kohl’s it will be the one I go to moving forward. It was clean, neat, well organized and the staff was polite, friendly and trained. It’s nice to see a Kohl’s that is run like they were when they were young new and eager to please the public and customers. Well Done

I called the store and it just rings and nobody answers. Clearly these people don't want to work and when they do work they don't do their job correctly. I'm good not shopping at Kohl's anymore.
Emily Phelps: I would love to give this Kohl's a 5 star review for many reasons, like: the store is always very clean, they are very helpful when you have any questions and they are very respectful to the customers. BUT I give it a 3 star because of the wait times and overcrowding. Talk about being claustrophobic! Holy Moly! I advise not to go during a sale, the holidays, or even on the weekends. I mean, unless you want to wait for almost an hour for a register to open up or take the chance of having your body buttcheek to buttcheek sandwiched, lol. No exaggeration. I'm in a wheelchair and it is NOT pretty! Don't even get me started about trying to maneuver around the store.. it is not very wheelchair friendly ONLY when it's crowded. As popular as that store location is, they really need to build onto the store to make it much bigger. Also, they need more registers.

So I made the drive over only for 2 different employees to tell me it's in the back and that they won't go get it. Customer service is not up to par. I know the store could care less if I shop there again, but definitely will not be. If it was an item they needed or wanted they'd go get it. I worked for a target before and at the time they went above and beyond for "guests" but apparently they don't have the same values.

Dan Hoffman: I used to love shopping at this store before the pandemic and only returned tonight just to browse and shop. Normally, I would comment on customer service and staff attitudes in a review. However, this is impossible with this Target because, except for people doing shelving and opening boxes, there are no staff to interface with. When I got to the check out line, I stood along with about 30 others waiting my turn to self check out. This store is giving off all the vibes of an establishment on the verge of closure, something that I would not be surprised to see happen within a year or two. As a person who used to love the Target brand and how it differentiated itself from KMart, I was very disappointed with my shopping experience and won't be returning to any Target store. There are other places to shop without being forced to stand in line with thirty others to check myself out. Looking at Washington Square, I am saddened. A once vital and vibrant shopping center has been brought low. Target is this shopping center's last gasp.

Mark Galovic: I usually check out Kohl's when looking for clothes, and I'm in the market for shorts. While they have a wide selection, I couldn't find exactly what I was looking for, so didn't make a purchase...I'm kinda picky, even at Kohl's prices. This won't keep me from coming back in the future.
Mr. Hill: Well, they don't carry anything in my size. They advertise big and tall but never get anything in... And once you get the employee off their phone they acted like I was wanting a freak for asking if they had anything in my size. "3x/4x shirt, 50x32 pants". One employee ignored us all together.

John Robinson: First, I was told my order wasn’t ready despite having an email saying it was. It turned out to be ready, but took three associates to find it. The item was either a lower quality version than I paid for, or it was described incorrectly on the website. All in all, a pretty disappointing experience.

The past few times I have been here it's been a mess but yesterday was out of control. It literally looks like someone walked around through all of the aisles throwing things in the air and on the ground. The clothes are an absolute mess, you can't even walk around in that area because there are clothes all over the floor and hanging off the displays. The sale/ clearance clothing area is a disaster. It doesn't really matter what department you walk through, they all look like this. I'm not sure what is happening at the store but I hope they get it together.

Maxs Starman: Well one of the main reasons I like Target is because it's not walmart. Ever since Walmart came in they came in with their cheap prices and combined everything in one store shopping. They closed out the mom and pop stores only to drive their prices up. And then created automated lines to fire 30,000 employees. So I do not try to shop at Walmart and I was not trying to do this yesterday. But when I came to Target I was looking for Universal TV stands not TV mounts TV stands. So if they had it for way more than what Walmart was charging. So I still had to go to Walmart. The only way you're going to beat out Walmart is if you sell your stuff cheaper than what they do now so they can drive their prices down because automated machines can't buy products they don't need them you need your employees because their money buys your products. Because if all the stores decide to change up to automated technology to where they don't hire workers to work for the money to spend back in their stores then they're going to end up closing down anyway because robots can't won't buy and don't need products. So in the nature of the giving season I wanted to do my shopping at Target to which it went to no avail. You can't have a multi billion dollar place with no employees and just robots. You will continue to lose money and close down because robots don't buy or need your products. I will go to a store with employees and no automated machines first before I ever go to Walmart. I promise
Evelyn Pender: After getting a puppy, I always use drive up and bring him with me. It’s very efficient and we never have to wait long. My order is always right and the employees are always nice. Wish more stores had free curbside but I’ll just stick with target :)

Leslie Wells: The in-store Target experience, overall, has gone downhill since the renovation at our local store. It is no longer a welcoming layout that draws me into the store. The layout is quite choppy which doesn’t create positive feelings. It also is messier than it ever was prior to the renovation. I would solely blame customers for this, but it wasn’t like this pre-Reno. I’m not sure if staffing has been cut because of the renovation?For these reasons, we no long do our weekly Target trips to wander around inside and browse. Instead, when we do shop at Target, we opt for pickups and shipping instead. But even those are significantly reduced.

Carrie S: The new layout is awful, disorganized and crammed. It is not inviting AT ALL! I feel very unwelcome when I walk in and very enclosed and all I want to do is get what I came for and leave. When I use to go to Target regularly it was to walk around see what's new and what's on sale and after going in numerous times since the remodel, I still get the same feeling; uninvited, enclosed and crammed. My husband and 3 kids said the same thing, we all hate the new layout, just awful and uninviting.

It gave the appearance of a bargain basement store. The staff was friendly and helpful, the store was well stocked but the organization and cluttered look was discouraging.

Redd Lovely1: My family and I love Target! I love shopping here on a regular basis. Cute and trendy clothing, shoes and costume jewelry. Their offerings of black products have increased greatly. It’s nice being able to find my old reliable products and to be introduced to expanded options. Black history month products have expanded to year round… which I think is fantastic since I am black 365. ;-)I always find myself just browsing the aisles looking for something I don’t need but just HAVE to try or buy.The black ornaments & nutcrackers at Christmas time have been numerous and cute! I can’t stop buying them.There are misconceptions that it is expensive to shop at Target, and it can be since they offer high end and quality products. However, they are competitive with their prices and are quite affordable. They also give you money back to shop… I don’t need it to keep coming back, but I do like the discounts and incentives.

Also, I was reading other reviews and they said they thought they were often followed by security, possible racist issue amongst their security people… I thought it was just my imagination!!! I have frequently felt watched and uneasy at both Targets. Why do they have people following colored people?! It’s very creepy and so obvious. Starbucks is also so overrated. I now only go to 7Brew coffee in Plainfield and then do all my shopping at Meijer and Wal-Mart!
Patrick Smith: This store is so filthy! The bathrooms are left trashy, just like a Walmart bathroom. The clothes departments all have clothes thrown around everywhere and there is no organization. People leave their drink cups all over the store. So disrespectful.Also at night, there's an older gentleman that works the self checkout that would rather be anywhere else than helping you. At least that's the vibe I pick up from him. Any time someone needs assistance, he huffs and puffs like he couldn't be bothered.
Rory: All the other reviews, psh! Who cares. We all know what we get from a Super Target outside the city. It's open, light, employees where red - yadda yadda. Real reason why I'm writing is that it's a shout out to Cupid for the far and away best customer service I've had in a while! Told a story on making the *perfect* fried rice, Cupid went back to the back and grabbed me some fresh green onions for me. BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE! I was being a bumbling oaf because I was tasked to grab cotton balls ... which I never use, so finding them was silly to me. In my stupor, Cupid stumbled across me again and directed me to this great wall of various sizes of cotton balls (to be fair, said wall was KINDA tucked away). I don't know how Target does things for waaaaaay positive reviews, but something is in order! More nice, helpful and kind people! Also, if you're reading this Cupid - short grain rice, forgot to mention that.
Amy Schramm: They completely changed this Target at some point. It's a completely different store now. Nothing is where it used to be. On top of that, half or more of the refrigerated / freezer section is closed. The remaining refrigerated section was really poorly stocked.

sharon coleman: When we first walked in we noticed things had been moved and changed around. Then it took us forever to find the Men's Dept. Had to look through a mound of shirts to finally find the ones that I needed. I did find the color and size in both that I was looking for. However, it was very difficult to find them in the jumbled mess. Then we had to ask where the Christmas Dept. was. It was also not in the same place it had been before and looked like a much smaller area and variety. Pretty much every department we went through was a wreck. I know that it is the Christmas season but you did seem like you had plenty of staff to take care of areas that were messed up.
