Dr. William Starsiak: Very nice atmosphere. Relatively small space for how loved this place has been for so many years. I'm surprised they have not expanded ter. The size is charming though. We had to wait about 45 minutes for a table without reservations on a Friday night arriving at 7:50. The hostess was great. The food was delicious. I know for a fact this is HGTV's GoodBones star Mina Starsiak's (she is my sister) favorite sushi place in Indianapolis.Vegetarian options: There was only one vegetarian entree I could find. However, there are about 8 vegetarian appetizers and a few vegetarian nigiri/sushi options. I got th pickled plum broth with rice, and the tofu steak appetizer. It was very filling.

Kris Cook: We always go for happy hour, and invariably start with the Shishito peppers. I've had these a few places, but this is the best. And you can't go wrong with any of the sushi selections.The overall 5 here is because the food is a solid 6!
Jessica Collins: My review is based on the service staff. The people at the front are usually unattentive at best. There is a young boy that works at the host stand who does much better than the rest. I'm pretty sure he's the youngest host, and he's great. The hostesses are typically either rude or look right past you. I've also seen an older guy that I think is a manager helping out up there, and he was great. Atmosphere is nice, but the host staff leaves much to be desired.

The roll was mostly lower grade tuna with minimal spicy tuna flavor and the fish on top of the roll was paper thin. Food was exceptional, the chicken in the pineapple dish and the chicken fried rice could use a bit of seasoning but overall good food. Will definitely visit again.

Vishnu Guddanti: I recently dined at Mori Sushi and unfortunately had a subpar experience. I ordered the spicy miso chicken ramen, Sakura roll, and shrimp yaki udon. While the Sakura roll was decent, the ramen and udon dishes were disappointing. The noodles were overcooked, and the broth lacked flavor. Additionally, I was surprised to see that an 18% gratuity had been added to my bill, despite there being only two of us dining. Placed an order in advance on Valentine's Day, got the email confirmation, and then didn't learn until I tried to call GrubHub (who they use to deliver from their website) after my order was 20 minutes late that the order had been cancelled on their end and never got picked up. No email ever sent to me, and I don't know if I would have ever been told or received a refund if I didn't call GrubHub. It was a disappointing way to have no food on Valentine's Day, and I can't comment on the quality of the food as I never got a chance to try it!

Kelia: Hi, I'm a local, and I eat at Watami regularly, usually the Pendleton Pike location. It's a go-to spot for quality sushi at an affordable price. The Broadripple location was just as good.Interior decor is also ON POINT 👌🏼It's ~$27 for all-you-can-eat (AYCE) sushi, and there is a lot more than just sushi included. You've got appetizers (crab ragoon, miso soup, seaweed salad, dumplings) and hot foods like udon, fried rice, fried udon, tempura, chicken katsu).OK, BUT LETS TALK SUSHI 🍣 They have the option for sashimi. This is the /only/ AYCE sushi place that I know that offers sashimi in Indy. I go crazy on the salmon sashimi and it has always tasted fresh.There are also nigiri, hand rolls, regular rolls and specialty rolls to order from.Service was a little slower at this location, but it is also busier in Broadripple compared to Pendleton.PRO TIP: Got a birthday? Tell them and they'll bring you a bday plate! They take the spicy girl roll and form a little cake with it! 🎂Vegetarian options: You can definitely find vegetarian sushi rolls and such here.Parking: Limited parking. There is a small lot in the back that's free but it fills up. There's also a side street that you can parallel park at.

I went to dinner and it was just not better than lunch. Lunch sushi buffet and I hope they continue to offer it at lunch for this price. It makes me happy I live in Indy after I eat lunch here!! Tre Dejournett: Came in on a regular Sunday night about 8pm and was greeted by my server with a frown and the preppers even made a face. Understanding the preppers pain I went over and tipped a 10$ before I even made my order. So the sushi came out amazing. However my server choose to bus tables and attend her one other table for 45 minutes. I had another server bring me refills and he also continued to server his only table with more food and drinks the whole hour. I left at 8:45 (wasn't going to make the preppers work after 8:30)with only ONE round of all you can eat Sushi. I had to walk up the the desk to get my check. And the waitress clearly realized she messed up but how meek she reacted when I had to get my own check from her. Now as someone with a decent job as a server I prefer to tip about 30% anywhere I go but I couldn't in this situation. Giving her 20% really just ruined my night.

Tori Ovel: This place has plateaued to just below average in the last few years. On our most recent visit, the rice was over cooked and mushy. It would be ok if there wasn't so much on each roll. The crab rangoons were well cooked and filled, but had very little flavor of anything. We come to AYCE places when we want quantity over quality, but our last few visits here have been so lack luster, it isn't worth the price in my opinion. The servers are always very kind, I just wish they would have more quality control in the kitchen.

Wednesday evening at 6:30 or so we arrive with plenty of seating. Greeted immediately upon arrival, we needed time to peruse the menu. At first glance, super extensive menu. Something for everyone if you enjoy this cuisine - noodles, simple sushi, gourmet sushi, pot stickers, soups, bento boxes. A real wow factor for me - $3 bottled beer, any beer you’d really want (Miller, corona+). The price was so right we decided to expand our horizons and ordered the Sopparo and another that maybe started with a K. Both were delicious and really nothing out of the ordinary. Food is extremely reasonably priced as well. Once we were in there for awhile it picked up, but didn’t seem that they ran out of seating. You can literally watch the staff make your rolls as it’s a small place. I enjoyed the spicy girl roll, the Tiger roll, miso soup and pot stickers. Would definitely come back and highly recommend this hidden, lowkey gem.

H Osborne: Overall the food was decent but not worth the price.Ordered sushi and seaweed salad carryout. The ingredients were high quality but the salad had no vinaigrette and tasted plain At about 30% more than the average seaweed salad in the area I would have liked more flavor. The sushi was fresh but so badly rolled that it fell apart as soon as you picked it up. And instead of sushi rice I got undercooked unseasoned white rice. Sushi portion was also small compared to other restaurants in the area. There are definitely better options in the Indy area for good sushi.

Shunnie Lynn Cook: I delivered DoorDash for this business and wanted to try as a new resident. I came in and I’m not sure if it’s the color of my skin but other than asking what I wanted she didn’t speak to me at all. I asked for extra sauce and placed my hand out to receive she placed on the counter instead of my hand. I saw her give others there food in hand while she placed mine on the table.Even if the food is good I will not patronize again. I don’t see how it has great customer service in the reviews but looking at pictures I can only wonder why.

The gyoza was delicious, but the chicken stir fry wasn't that good. I find that disappointing coming from a place that has stir fry in their name.

Jill Dellinger: The food here at Go Stir Fry is amazing! Local mom and pop shop. I got a steak bento box and the sushi, soup, steak, and all the extras were fantastic. I love finding good local food. My husband and I were impressed with how inexpensive it was and how much food you received. We don’t live here, visiting from Colorado. But we will be back!!! We are here for a few days and LOVE Japanese food.
