Carol Bain: I have frequented a few dance communities in Indy and this one is by far the most friendly, not to mention that they offer a great variety of good instructors and classes, that their dance lessons are affordable, and that they offer plenty of opportunities for practices, social dances, traveling. Besides offering a great set up for learning the dance technique, the atmosphere is great with no drama as you might find in some other dance communities. All are and feel welcome - old and young! I have only good things to say about Naptown Stomp and I highly recommend them.

Alyssa Murphy: Naptown Stomp is the most welcoming community that I've ever gotten the pleasure of experiencing. They have multiple levels of dance for all ages and have social dances for little to no cost. The group is exceptional with teaching and not judging, and is always attempting to get people to feel comfortable with the swing dance community as a whole. Their new discounts are amazing and I think everyone should try it out. 10/10.
Emily Fehr: This organization is great! I started taking lessons with them and going to their social dances in August. They rotate instructors each month which is great for people with different learning styles. The people who dance with this organization are really great and welcoming and if you stick with it, you will find you have a new group of friends and have learned a really great dance. I love traveling to different cities to dance with them too. They also host the beginner lesson at Fountain Square, so if you are shy, check them out there first. The beginner lesson at Fountain Square starts at 7:30 pm for a total of $12 (just $2 more than the admission to the dance). Check Fountain Square Theater's website for dates. Naptown's regular social dance is every Thursday at 8 pm at the Grove House. Come dance!
Amalia Howard: Naptown has become my second home over the last three years. The people are some of the kindest I've ever met, and swing dancing/Lindy Hop is not just a great way to stay active and burn calories, but also an artistic release and a huge amount of fun. Naptown's lessons are easy to follow with amazing instructors and will have even the most doubly left footed people swinging in no time!

Samantha Tantillo: At first, Starlite seemed like a very accommodating and friendly place to learn how to dance for our wedding. Our instructor was very patient and informative; however, due to some miscommunication, my now husband and I double booked ourselves one night when we were suppose to have a lesson. We explained to the woman and were very apologetic, but we could not miss our other meeting. She explained that the $$ and lesson could not be made up, which we were fine with since it was our mistake. However, after that, they stopped answering and returning our calls -- despite our already having paid for an ENTIRE package. We adds fine eating the $ for that one of the SIX we paid for; yet, here we are. Very childish and unprofessional.

Candi Perry: The Starlite Ballriom & Dance School is one of the best Ballrooms and Dance Schools in the State of Indiana. I love to dance and the people are always friendly, fun, and ready to dance at any moment. The atmosphere is great and the Instructors, students and even the owners are lively and welcoming. Christina Taggart: Starlite Ballroom is a wonderful studio with great teachers. Whether your goal is to dance competitively or you just want to learn some social dancing, the teachers at Starlite will help you reach your goals. It's also a fantastic place for children to learn to dance. They have a number of children and teens that take lessons at the studio and all the teachers are wonderful with kids. The children range in skill level from those just learning to dance, to those that are training to become future world class professional ballroom dancers. I would absolutely recommend Starlite Ballroom to anyone.

Rajinder Thind: I love this studio, Everybody is so caring and friendly, Floor is Hugh competition size and the training is world class. There is so much positive energy as you walk into the studio there are so many out of town students who drive hours to come here to take lessons from the champions. This studio offers everything for any level of ball room dancer from social dancer to championship level training for a competitive student. I am so honored to be part of this studio and Rauno's student. I am one of Rauno's out of town student since last year. Before coming to this studio I had taken lessons with different professionals but Rauno IS THE BEST. I wish I had started with him sooner.
Jessica Mays: I started training with Starlite Ballroom last year and just loved the studio. On several occasions I traveled from Chicago to train in Indianapolis with Kristiina and Rauno. The instruction was amazing and their ballroom studio is perfect for training. I would highly recommend this studio to anyone wanting top notch instruction from champions. Mike B: I'm relatively new to the game, about 4 years. I'm also 67 years old. Patrick Cornelius is my instructor. I can tell you my game has improved tremendously. He's very knowledgeable but more importantly, he's patient and he cares. The entire Goltec system is impressive. I can review lessons and work on drills current and past. I strongly recommend.

Eric Holler: I've been working with Patrick Cornelius since May of this year, and I have had a fantastic experience! The technology GOLFTEC utilizes to evaluate one's swing is top notch, and Patrick was able to tailor a lesson plan to improve my game.I am about half way through my program, and I can confidently say my game and swing have improved in ways I never could have accomplished on my own.If you want to get better at golf, I highly recommend getting in touch with Patrick and the GOLFTEC Castleton team to get evaluated, purchase a lesson plan, and start impressing your buddies during those weekend rounds!
Dick Watts: Go somewhere else. Really. To each their own. Spent$1500 on Ping irons. It took 3 months due to accounting error. Put on hold guessing didn't pay a bill. Did I say paid $1500. Then became a grip issue was not in stock. They decided to put another grip on, without MY input what so ever. Not professional. Find somewhere more personal. Best of luck.
Jeb Lorton: My visit started off well, unfortunately when clubs were purchased, the sales rep Patrick Cornelius decided he didn't need to speak to me anymore. Ordered irons and hybrid on March 30th. Hybrid came came in a couple weeks later with the incorrect grip. Spoke with another rep at the store and he said that order was entered incorrectly. After waiting another month, I reached out to Patrick several times via text and voicemail and no response whatsoever. Evidently he cares more about the sale than his customer service skills. His lack of communication was so unprofessional. Hope his golf game is better

Mike Stephenson: Jim has been a wonderful coach! I have only had my swing analysis and 3 lessons. The combination of Jim's skills and the technology of GolfTec have been wonderful. Because my lessons have been over the winter months, I have had to rely on Jim's homework videos and practice time when I can get to the GolfTec facility. Although my swing has a ways to go, Jim has been able to identify a key change needed in my left shoulder "tilt" that has dramatically altered my back swing and when I can do as instructed my slice is gone! This has corrected a problem that several other golf instructors have all identified, but none were able to help me find the "cure" to my problem.I am so pleased with what Jim has done that my brother has signed up for a swing analysis and my son is going to get lessons at the local GolfTech in his home town.I am looking forward to more lessons and spring golf, much more than I ever have.Thanks Jim Morse and GolfTec.MIke Stephenson
Nicholas Rader: My experience at the Castleton GolfTEC has been phenomenal. I took up golf in my 50s, and with GolfTEC's instruction I've gone from a high to mid handicap. With their program I was able to break 80 this last summer, and the ability to measure, analyze and correct each component of my swing has shortened the learning curve tremendously. Jim Morse had extensive experience as a teaching pro prior to joining GolfTEC and he is exceptional at combining both styles of teaching. Best choice I've ever made.
Tim Houterloot: Jim is a top notch instructor, very personable and you will not feel intimidated regardless of your skill level. Good facility as well, and scheduling is usually fairly easy with a short amount of notice
Brad LaGue: Excellent golf instruction. If you're ready to transform your game, this is the place. These instructors are full time teaching professionals. Whether you need some minor adjustment, or a full re-work, the knowledge and tools available at GolfTEC can meet your needs. Video capture, launch monitors, web lesson review, and a series of drill videos enhance the experience. Lessons are in indoor controlled environment which actually helps you better focus on your swing. Some outdoor instruction is also available, weather permitting, to fine tune your training.My coach, Jim Morse, has helped me understand my swing and the keys which I need to focus on for improved ball striking and scoring. When I started with GolfTEC, breaking 100 was a good day, and now I'm getting close to breaking 80.
Dwight Chernish: I've worked with Jim Morse for a number of years and have been able to constantly improve my golf game to the point that I have beat my age lowered my handicap to below 10 when I had been more like a 18. I have had a club fitting which was very informative and indicated that I didn't need to make any big changes to my clubs.
Brian Givens: My son and I both have worked with Jim on our golf game for 3 years now. Since working with Jim my handicap has dropped from a 12 to a 5. My son has always hit the ball long with Jim's help his control has improved significantly. With Jim's help my son's handicap dropped from 18 to 4. Ryan Pigg: My coach is Jim Morse. I started playing golf last spring. Being new to the sport is very daunting. Jim made me feel comfortable and we established goals for myself. Goal 1 was to feel comfortable on the course and be able to have fun while playing. DONE! End of Summer goal was to break 100. DONE! End of summer goal this year was to break 90. DONE BY MAY! I would highly recommend Jim and GolfTEC to any golfer no matter the skill level. He also did a thorough club fitting as I upgraded clubs this year. Greatest investment I have made with the game.

He does a great job focusing on one thing at a time which has helped get my swing on track very quickly. Nisa Singchawala: I have been taking lesson from Carmel Ballroom Dance Studio since January. It has been such a great experiences with the instructor that care for the dance. The owner, Danny, has been wonderful in term of helping me learn, and has been going above and beyond to help me. This studio truly care more about your dance skill than the financial gain. The environment at the studio is friendly, relax and helpful. I would highly recommend this studio for anyone who is interested in Ballroom dance.

Ballare has such a great feel to it, you can tell the staff is friendly and eager to make everyone feel at home. Taking ballroom lessons at Ballare is a great exercise, regardless of your age, for a year-round activity! They have professional and GREAT Instructors! It is a clean and awesome facility for learning ballroom, line-dancing, and booking a private party or a wedding reception! There is no other place in the Indianapolis area that you would rather be than at Ballare!

After severla lessons I actually started to feel comfortable and more importantly started to enjoy myself and enjoy continuing to learn to dance in a fun environment. The weekly dance are great as you meet people with various skill levels but everyone seems to enjoy dancing and helping me become more accomplished. That wasvery important to me not to feel intimation but rather exhilaration at learning a new hobby. Being a single gentlemen I found it to be a great place to meet people and be able to start great conversations with each person already having some common interests. Alicia Briskey: My daughter loves going to her dance class every week. The teachers are so sweet, and every one there is very nice and helpful. Would highly recommend this place for anyone who is looking to get their kid into dance.

Morgan Milenbaugh: I can assure anyone that this studio does NOT treat students differently because of skin color. I've been involved with this studio, as a parent, for a decade. One of my children is half African American, has been on a competition team for 3 years (3 in regular classes before that) and has never ONCE been treated differently because of her color. She adores every single staff member at this studio and is provided with the same kindness, opportunities, and phenomenal training as every other dancer.

George Mynatt: My name is Buddy Mynatt. I have worked as a professional dancer in LA for over 20 years and have been running my own dance studio in Canada for the past 15 years. Everytime I come home to visit family in Indy, I make it a point to visit and take the opportunity to teach at TDR. I have lots of love for this studio and the owner who made me the dancer and mentor I am today, Lynn Herrick. She believed in me when most didn't. Tried to quit 4 separate times but she wouldn't allow it because she knew I was destined to be a professional dancer. TDR was always a safe, healthy, and positive environment that allowed me to grow and be myself. I can't thank Lynn and her amazing teachers enough for the great training and more importantly, the life skills they taught me to become successful. When it comes to dance, I can't think of a better environment to be in and train at.

The staff shows extreme dedication to growing each child's abilities and showcasing their strengths, while helping them to improve in other areas too. We consider TDR part of our family, not only based on the amount of time we spend there each week, but how much we love everyone there and how they treat our children as their own :) We absolutely adore how much the staff and instructors care for all of the children and teens in their programs, helping them grow as dancers and gymnasts, and the time and passion they commit to doing so. We explored other dance studios before joining TDR, and no one comes close. If you're considering putting your children anywhere, look no further. And if you have a son, I would highly recommend the Gladiators program. Melissa Warner: I have been going for a year and half and have enjoyed every minute of it. I've made new friends, danced with many different partners (I'm single) and cut a rug like no body's business! You got to check it out for yourself. $29 for 2 private lessons. It's enough to get your feet wet and test it out. You'll be glad you did. When you go, tell them Melissa sent you. 😊

Jennifer Lawyer: For four years, my husband and I have taken lessons at Five Star Dance Studios and, although we've been students at all 3 locations, greenwood is our primary studio. We have experienced the benefits of ballroom dance under the careful tutelage of our instructors, who are knowledgeable and dedicated professionals. Dance has become an integral part of our time, as well as an educational and enjoyable hobby, thanks to their instruction. Five Star's curriculum is geared towards social dance and all 3 locations offer environments that are supportive to new and current students. The staff and students are always enthusiastic and encouraging despite the various missteps that happen along the way.
James Alexander: Five Star Dance studio targets the social dance scene. That is, they're teaching students the necessary skill in order to be proficient on the dance floor in a social setting. (e.g. a wedding, or a night out at a dance club) While there are students who participate in regional and national competitions, it is not expected for students to participate, it is merely offered to any that may be interested. In order for students to keep up with their skills, Five Star holds weekly practice parties, and daily (Monday - Friday) evening group lessons, that students can attend.Dancing for my wife and I provides us exercise, a fun hobby, and quality time to spend together on the dance floor.

deafgal01: I first tried out a free lesson at end of May 2014 after trying out a dance through a school program. I love it so we started attending and paying for/taking lessons from this studio after that free lesson. All the staff always have positive attitude and willing to help you learn the basics before you master advanced moves. I have seen it change my husband to be more confident in himself especially on the dance floor and develop more social skills- he's typically a quiet guy (a homebody- very happy to stay home). I love that we have parties at the studio every week and then there's group dances almost every night so you always have options on which dances you want to learn/practice every day.
