Since 2011, Latin Expressions has welcomed students across Indianapolis to explore the art of Salsa, Bachata, Merengue, Cumbia, ChaCha and more.

So much fun! It's a great mix of people, lots of laughter and the instructors are great!

This has been one of the most fun experiences I've shared with anyone. The instructor is patient, funny, interactive, and makes sure all the students understand the steps before he moves forward! There is a team of experienced dancers that stay and assist in the instruction and then go around and dance with each student to ensure each of the students is getting the steps correct. We are entering our fourth dance season at IDA, and we have really loved our time at the studio. The instructors are kind, patient, knowledgeable and fun. Our children have grown in many different ways as a result of dance. Thank you for your dedication to families and community!


Indy Dance Academy is a great place to grow as a dancer in all aspects. Our daughter Lauren started dancing only 4 years ago and wanted to jump in full throttle. The IDA directors, staff and instructors embraced and encouraged her to go for it. In four short years Lauren was invited to be part of the Bachelor of Fine Arts Theatre and Dance program as a dance major at Ball State University thanks to the encouragement she received at IDA and the support of the talented instructors. Her comment after her auditions was that although there were instructors that were very hard on her at IDA, she owed them a big thank you for teaching her what she needed to know!


My daughter is 5 years old and has attended IDA since she was 2 ½ years old. We have had such a positive experience. The teachers are so caring a warm and really teach young children the fundamentals of dance. We love IDA.

Dancing at Indy Dance Academy is so rewarding. The instructors don’t just want you to develop your technique and learn steps, but they want you to develop who you are as a dancer. My experience has helped me define both my confidence and my personality, and I honestly believe that I could only have achieved what I have now at this studio.

Both of our daughters have made lifelong friends and as dance parents, we’ve bonded with the other dance families as well. Our family adores the staff and instructors at IDA and are so appreciative of them as strong role models in our girls’ lives. As parents, instructors and dancers, we are one huge dance family united by all our children’s love of dance.

Luckily, I found Indy Dance Academy offered classes to adults that were challenging enough to make me feel like I was getting a great workout and kept me in shape. I was able to keep dancing through my first pregnancy and now have a little tiny student of my own in classes at IDA. I love that I can now share my passion for dancing with my daughter and the teachers at IDA are fantastic.
