T H: I don’t like leaving anyone bad reviews. I believe Mandy the piercer here earned it. I have tried to wait and see if this piercing would get better. The first time I showed up she gave me attitude for no reason ,so I waited came back.This industrial piercing should have been pierced with a long bar. Instead she used the rings:I have spent so much time and money on buying saline spray and things to keep it clean.When I tried to get advice she basically kept trying to say she hit it.Which she barely wanted to touch it.I was asking her for advice because I’m not a piercer. She charged me 175 for this piercing which I paid because I thought it would be done right! For two years it took to heal and she has scaring now.I spoke with multiple piercers and they have stated that she over charged and that the piercing was done wrong.
Allison Wilkins: We were recommended here by a friend who owns another tattoo shop to get my daughters helix piercing. We met with Delancy Logan who was WONDERFUL! Her personality is unmatched. Delancy took time to educate us about the piercing itself along with aftercare. She took her time, and we didn't feel rushed at all. She was SO sweet. It felt like we were hanging out with a friend because she is so personable and magnetic. Delancy was very clean and made sure to keep the process as sterile as possible which I greatly appreciated. Caroline Genevieve: I was incredibly nervous to get my septum re-pierced after a botched job years ago (at a different shop). Mandy was my piercer, she has a calm and welcoming energy. She answered all of my silly questions about misinformation I learned on the internet. The piercing was a breeze and hurt less than the nostril piercing I also got. I was so impressed with Mandy and her skills, she made me feel very comfortable. And I was pleased I was able to get a septum hoop right away and never have to worry about changing it because it’s exactly what I want. Sarah Gorman: I had my belly button pierced here in late June. The shop and piercing procedure were both very clean and sterile. The staff were super kind and friendly- I had wanted to get my belly button pierced for years and they created a great experience for me. I recently lost the bottom of my belly button piercing but was able to keep the bar in so that I could come back to the shop to have them help me potentially change the jewelry. I came late in the evening just a few minutes after they closed and they still saw me, were able to replace the piece from my jewelry without changing the bar at all, and were so kind. Victoria Fayette: I been going here for years and never had a problem getting my daughters' ears peirce. I went to this location 2 days in a row and they didn't have someone available. I called the 3rd day before arriving. When I got there the lady said she would not peirce my daughters ear. I'm not sure what has changed over the years especially since we have been faithful to thus location. I wish she would have told me by phone instead of wasting my gas. I got a back piece done today, it was a set of fairy wings. i am nothing short of amazed. the line work is outstanding and although wings are meant to be “sisters not twins” i don’t see a single flaw between the two. Julie Ross: Came in to switch out my septum ring, and Heather was awesome. There was a misunderstanding about what rings were available and the pricing, so I switched mine twice. Heather was gracious, friendly, and gentle with the process. She even helped repair my old ring that had gotten bent out of shape. Madeline Smith: I got a simple tattoo from Paul. I didn't realize he would copy paste and TRY to trace the photos I sent for inspiration, so it's not even a unique design. He didn't prep my leg properly, rushed through it and made a lot of mistakes. Tons of blowout. Didn't properly rinse my leg and caused the adhesive to cause me chemical burns from the wrapping. Dio: They are by appointment only so be sure to call ahead! I was able to schedule an appointment a week out from my initial call. Parking sucked but they are located on Broadripple Ave and I went at 1pm on a Saturday, so later on in the day or on a weekday would definitely be easier to park. The building itself is very clean and the people I interacted with were very cool. I started my appointment about 15 minutes after my scheduled time. My peircer was very sweet, walked me through everything very carefully and was super aware of personal comfort, especially since I was receiving a gential peircing. Once we got started the peircing itself was very fast and easy and the jewelry itself is very nice! I will be returning for more peircings in the future.Service:Piercings

I understand the pandemic changed alot of businesses, but for those of us who have given them patronage for years I feel as if they threw away a large group of loyal customers to portray themselves as an elite tattoo parlor. I'm a very busy person as a nurse I am always working but was turned away after the young lady came to the door unlocked it to ask if I had an appointment after a quick no she says we are appointment only. I proceeded to say I would like to buy some jewelry she then said again we are appointment only with no direction as to what or where to go to make the appointment she shut the door locked it and turned to walk away! I got my first of many piercings here 20+ years ago but unfortunately don't think I will be going back to them anymore. I guess I'll purchase online you may get things in bulk but usps isn't rude!

maddie g: i’ve gotten most of my piercings done at irish ink, and the piercers are great. i just recently got my belly button piercing done about a month ago, and the jewelry was way too short. the top ball started trying to heal into my skin and created a hole and now im stuck with an infection and a belly button piercing that just won’t seem to heal. i’ve never really had problems with their piercings before until now. i probably don’t have the right anatomy for a belly button piercing, but i would rather be told no than deal with the pain everyday.

I had no appointment, and walked in an hour and a half before closing. The staff was extremely welcoming, and I ended up getting my tattoo done by the same man in a cowboy hat. His execution of my idea was amazing, and his work came out better than I could have hoped for. He was done with my 3" 3d tattoo in under an hour and I couldn't be happier with the product. Alicia Thomas: I came here to get my septum pierced by Bret..to make a long, painful story short, after two months, I just went to a third artist for another opinion. The piercer instantly noted the piercing was not in the right place, Bret insisted the “sweet spot” doesn’t exist, the jewelry Bret used was too small, and the growing bumps on either side of my nose were caused by mistakes made by Bret. As a result, I had to take the piercing out and wait for it to properly close to try again. As blunt as this review may seem, I just want others to know the truth. I went to Irish Ink because of all the positive reviews but unfortunately did not have a positive experience at all. Jerikah Barnett: So glad I found a quality tattoo shop since moving to the area. Cub has done an amazing job with my half sleeve so far and I can't wait to get it finished next week. His linework is very precise and his floral work is always beautiful. The shop is clean and Cub's studio is roomy and semi private which is nice. The only thing I do not like about the shop is the parking. It is very minimal and cramped because people constantly drive through the parking lot to reach an auto repair shop that is located behind HC. However, I will say that I have never had to park elsewhere and walk over which is nice.

Set up the first appointment, get my outside upper arm done, pay $350 total (with deposit), then plan another appointment. Unfortunately, my dog suddenly died the day of my 2nd session so I had to cancel. Reschedule, ask if were still good for the appointment the night before with no answer, show up to the shop for my appointment and nothing. Ive reached out to schedule the 2nd session with no reply. He does really good work but communication skills aint the greatest. I understand things happen but getting ahold of your clients and letting them know whats going on is kinda necessary.Service:Tattoos

Eva Bennett: Loved this place love shadowink and the family feel they bring to the place but after a yr of working with sean on a sleeve and 7000$ spent it is only half finished. Sean quit responding to my messages when I brought up the fact I was quoted $7000 range for the finished piece. I asked him how many more sessions or time it would take to finish and he could not give me a straight answer. They are great artist but I feel after I laid down 7000$ just for a half a sleeve they would be respectful of my concerns instead of going awol and leaving me with an unfinished piece. A peice I started to hide self harm scars so it was a very important piece for me or I would not have invested so much time into it. I've reached out to multiple ppl in the shop and have not received a response in months.. I would be very greatful to hear back from Sean or shadow on making a plan to finish my sleeve. I'm not looking for a free tat but no one just hands out money without an end game planned out the end game we had planned did not work out the way he had hoped or explained to me. Last message I got from sean said to let him know when I was ready for a new session I instantly replied that i was ready but never got a response back. Not professional at all as soon as I showed concern and wouldn't let him brush me off with a hand held out for money, he went awol and I haven't heard anything. I've also reached out to shadow and told him the issue and asked if he would consider finishing the sleeve sean started I got met with silence. Miss Lish: Mo and the staff of InkFam have ALWAYS been awesome to me. I first encountered them when I wanted a nose piercing after 8PM on a random Wednesday night. They were the only shop that was open and willing to do the piercing. That is when I met Mo. From Day 1 Mo has always been the bomb and so very helpful. Not only did she pierce my nose, but she also gave great aftercare instructions and always made herself available if I had trouble changing a piercing.A few weeks ago I had issues changing my nose ring and at that time Mo properly educated me on the type of ring I needed to be purchasing as some are shorter than others. Jaycie Carter: Easily the least professional piercing experience I've hadWent to get upper lobes pierced, and I asked for rings instead of studs--lady that pierced me agreed to it but the entire time telling me how nervous she was, saying "please don't be mad at me", how she hopes shes doesnt mess it up, and generally just not being someone I'd ever recommend getting pierced by. The piercings came out fine, but it was honestly a nerve wracking experience.

Most tattoo places didn’t accept this walk in but I ran into body language tattoos and the artist was extremely nice and was happy to do it. I was surprised bc with so much detail and already being decently late I would have expected to have to make an appointment. The artists name was Jason and he was very nice and made conversation the whole time making a comfortable environment. Not to mention I had my two sisters and one of their friends w me and they were very Andy but all of the employees were joking w them and making the experience fun. Amy Veldhof: Both my partner and I saw Mitch for tattoos. Mine was my deceased dog's name with a paw print and I absolutely loved it. His was a portrait of his dog and it turned out amazing! We had a horrible experience at a different tattoo parlor in Fort Wayne. Heard about Body Language and gave it a try. We were blown away with the service! And loved Mitch's personality and professionalism Would recommend to everyone!!! Thanks to Mitch for helping me get thru my very first tattoo.
