Marquita Johnson: When I walked in I thought it was beautifully decorated but that is as far as the plesanteries ended. I waited over an hour on my first attempt at eating there with my little girl. The women that owns or operates the establishment has convinced me to give it another shot. Which maybe I will at a later time and will update this. She seemed very apologetic and for that I thank her and will be sure to update this when that times come. It just was a combination of the fact that we had to wait so long and ppl were getting there food eating and leaving who had came after us%%, and yet we were still sitting there just waiting. N not to mention I was a little on edge bc my daughter was coughing n it was rough keeping her entertained.Kid-friendliness: The jury is still out on this one.Parking: Small parking lot

Jennifer Washburn: We hosted a bridal shower here. What a great experience!! Kristi was wonderful to work with in terms of planning. Cheryl was so helpful and kind, and Susan took great care of us! Everyone raved about the food and the experience. The quiche, chicken salad, croissants, scones, and dessert variety plates were wonderful and served promptly. Everyone was delighted! Thank you!
Phyllis Schoppenhorst: We had my sons 30th birthday here, and it was absolutely wonderful. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is relaxing, calm, and pretty. Thanks so much! The waitress was very nice, food was delicious, and although we were at a two person table by a walk way, I felt like we had enough room and were able to carry on a conversation. Michael Benjamin Young: Wow, what a unique and nice way to spend a birthday. The owner and staff are lovely people. The tea and food are classy and delightful. And make sure you peruse the gift shop!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Joshua Ohmer: An absolutely delightful experience. We made reservations for a party of 5 for afternoon tea, having never been here before and wanting to check it out. The tea itself was lovely and we were spoiled for options. Tea service includes a pot each of two varieties and it was legitimately difficult to makes up our minds, because we wanted to try 5 or 6! We settled on the lavender and the raspberry truffle (and someone had their own cup of apricot cream). All were delightful, though personally the lavender was my least favorite. The sandwiches and treats were all delicious, especially the cucumber sandwiches that have a little horseradish. Oh, and the petit fours were incredible! Some of us also had to try the chicken velvet soup which was nice as well. Our server was extremely helpful and friendly, which made added to the the experience greatly.Parking: Small lot behind the building shared with neighboring shops seemed to accommodate my party's 3 vehicles just fine.Wheelchair accessibility: I was pleased to see an accessibility ramp. The door is a bit heavy, but the handle is low enough to reach while seated.
Liz Thompson: The food is lacking and service. Our waitress took forever getting our drinks and hardly came back to check on us. The scone was tiny, served cold, chewy and no clotted cream or anything to put with it. Asked for honey 2 times and she finally came back with a tiny bit in a tiny bowl. Side salad was just lettuce. The chicken velvet soup is NOT anything like the L.S.Ayres tea room.....so bland. The grilled cheese had ok flavor but was so smashed from a paying press it was about 1/2 inch thick. Very tiny portions. The desserts were very good. The Rustic Root Tea Room is hands down way better.
Melissa Atlas: A wonderful little date in downtown Greenwood! Be sure to make reservations!
Lesa Paddack: The Sassafras tea room was wonderful to have my 60th birthday party at! They were super helpful and easy to work with and the food and atmosphere was wonderful! Thank you all so much!!!
Tabasco Indy500: This place somewhat victorian. Good experience. Friendly helpful staff and fast service.
TheOrdonianKid: Lovely little place, went here for a date and the place is super cute 😊 desserts are fun and delicious
Judy Nichols: Very kind and attentive waitress and generous w my friendSue. They gifted her with a dish she admired. It was her birthday.
Sharon Hunt: Very nice place. Atmosphere was great.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Andy and Shannon R: We had a baby shower there and it was wonderful for 25 people. The service and food including the cake was exceptional. We loved working with the event coordinator, Kristi.Wheelchair accessibility: A very nice wheelchair ramp was great for the older ones that can't do stairs.
Emily Simpson: Would definitely recommend going. Its sandwiches are amazing and it's decorations are like no other!!!!
Frank Moglia: Lovely little spot for a long lunch.
SideWinder: The high tea was great. Finge sandwiches were good. The desserts were over the top. Super fresh and delicious. Plan to go again soon

Latea Bubble Tea lounge: what do users think?
Dani V: I was in Indy for an event and wanted to try this place, seeing it had good reviews and the drinks themselves sounded tasty. I went around 5pm on Thursday to their place, only to find that the door was locked and no one was inside. Keep in mind, they're Google business hours state they're open from 12pm-8:30pm during the week. I figured they didn't have much traffic that day and closed early, so I went back around 2pm on the weekend to see if anything was different. Door still locked and empty inside. If you're going to be closed temporarily despite your Google hours stating you're open, your online ordering services being active, AND no note on the door explaining the situation, why don't you update your status to temporarily closed? Pretty disappointed I didn't get to try the tea here. I'll most likely never get to since I don't live anywhere near the other locations.

Eric Workman: Only sugar syrup used for flavoring, nothing carb free available outside of plain tea. Very exclusive of those with carb sensitivity.
Katy Kanas: As a bubble tea fanatic who lived in Seoul, South Korea - this is the BEST spot to get bubble tea downtown. The boba is small, soft, and the honey boba is especially delicious! The workers are always attentive and friendly, and the new order-ahead app is wonderful. I am so thankful to have this place right around the corner from me.
Savannah Aldridge: I really wish I lived here so I could meet up with friends in this cozy space all the time! I got a tiramisu bubble tea that hit the spot. The menu was sizeable and detailed, with plenty of options for sweetness, ice levels, mix ins, and more. The drink was finished in the time between when I ordered and when I returned from the bathroom. Worth the stop!Parking: Parking is metered, like all of Mass Ave.
Prince Ghai: They don’t take $100 cash and coffee was cold instead of hot
derrek alexander whaley: Delicious creative tropical variations on bobaFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Ahmed Khames: The vibes are so good 😊I'd spend hours there with friends, a lot of tables and couches. Cozy!
Jason Ly: I have been going here frequently back in the day when they had a grand opening with many great drinks but now the quality is no longer there :(My grapefruit green tea used to have fresh pulps now only left with just bland black tea. Quite disappointed to say the least :(
Geoff: The best bubble tea at Purdue is now in Indy! Their house milk tea is awesome.
Sarah Glasner: I did go at the end of the evening, but they were out of several things (matcha, tropical punch, desserts, etc) They had also closed the espresso machine 30 min early and weren't able to serve any coffee drinks. The smoothie was good.
Emily Harris: I love LaTea with all of my heart. Best boba in Indianapolis and free boba Wednesdays. I travel 30 min just for their delicious menu.
Emily Posadas: We've been to Latea three times in the past year. The third time was a bit of disappointment. We thought to give them another try and the fourth time was a huge let down. Employees don't pay attention when customers walk in, so you stand around waiting. They were out of the tiramisu milk tea and cream brulee matcha tea. So we just got a basic matcha tea. I got my drink without the tiramisu, and it tasted like chocolate milk. The boba is super chewy now, wasn't before. Drink sizes are smaller. Saw a customer ask for boba and one of the ladies took it and added it for her. To me this is cross contamination. They are cutting corners to try and save money.
Manuel Amador: W tea and nice chill place
Amanda Thompson: Great drinks. Wish they had more of a selection as well as more boba choices!
Shane Baker: Awesome staff with a nice menu, lots of flavors
C G: It was a first time visit and a good experience. I'm glad that I took the opportunity to give them a shot. Good drinks, reasonably priced and helpful staffDine in: Yes Takeout: Yes Delivery: Yes Curbside pickup: Yes …More
Amrutha Hiremath Mallikarjunaiah: Loved the variety of bubble tea’s they offer. We tried the matcha cream cheese foam tea with brown sugar boba and mango smoothie with mango boba. The exciting thing about Latea bubble Tea lunge is that you can customize your drink to your liking.Latea has a peaceful ambiance as well.
Daria Winterton: Literally the WORST boba place in Indy. Boba is always undercooked, their tea is very watered down and their flavorings taste very artificial. The staff are pretty rude. When I asked for my tea to be iced because I ordered it wrong on the kiosk (I admitted my mistake and said it wasnt their fault) they had a bad attitude about it. The worst part is that it's overpriced and very low quality. Please just go to Moar Tea and Poke instead.

Tilly's Tea Room: what do users think?
Holly Wyss: Food: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5More
Troy and Rebecca Smith: We went as part of our quest to have tea in all 50 states. Unfortunately it was a disappointment. The service was great, the tea room was pretty but only the sandwiches were edible. Perhaps the other menu items are better but I would chose another place for tea.Food: 1/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 3/5 …More
J C: I am really conflicted over writing a negative review because overall we had a lovely experience today, but there is definitely room for improvement. I grew up in a restaurant owned by my family, so what I say is to hopefully give the owner insight as to what she may not know is occuring in her establishment.Let me start with the positives because there were many.1. Arrived 15 min early for our reservation and our table was ready and had my husband's name on a little place card. Very cute.2. The tea and the food, especially the scones, were amazing.3. The decor was lovely and elegant without being old-fashioned nor stuffy. The photos of Saks in NYC and St. Patrick's Cathedral reminded me of home.Cons:1. You are automatically charged 20% gratuity and our waitress fell far below that level of service. I know this is the custom in Europe, but this was not the type of service I have ever received overseas.2. Again, back to our server, she was very unknowledgeable about tea culture, etiquette, and did not know the menu nor products/availability. She was inarticulate and mumbled. We were told the lemon curd jam was unavailable while dining , yet there were jars everywhere to purchase. There were a lot of awkward interactions with her reaching over us, and being very slow and confused The restaurant was not busy and she may have only had about 3 tables at a time.3. She did not tell us the type of scones we were served, nor the desserts on our tower until I asked and when we requested to order some scones to take home, she had no clue what we had been served. She also didn't tell us about the gift sets when I requested to order tea and food to take home ( a savings of at least $10).4. We received a illegible, handwritten bill.I saw the owner in the restroom and mentioned how we loved the food, but did not feel it was the appropriate place to discuss my disappointment over the service.I'd love to come back again, but an automatic gratuity charge for 2 adults and one child coupled with poor service makes me leery.
Michele Zimmerman: Loved our experience here! Debbie took great care of us despite a few hiccups. Fun little gem!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Michaela Welsh: Extremely disappointed with the Owner and server Debbie. We had a hens tea booked in at Tilly’s and from the start it was a disaster. We rocked up, no one was there. I walked around and waited over 20 mins before I found a guy in a back office who then had to find where the server Debbie was.Once she was found. We where instantly meet with hostility. They also did not have our booking that was booked over a month ago and was also called and confirmed . The bride and the rest of the girls where 20 mins away. After a good 10min plus of going back and forth, I ask if they where able to facilitate us. She said yes, over an hour had now passed and all we had was menu. We had no idea if they had food for us nothing. We made the decision that we where going to leave as the server Debbie seemed to be avoiding us. At this time the bride and all others had arrived and knew what was going on.This made us and her family very upset as we felt that her day had been ruined at no fault of our own. We where lucky enough that the bake shop where able to fit us in, in 15mins.I then asked if I was able to have the owners name and email to contact her to share our experience, at this time she appeared from out the back.We had been at Tilly’s for over an hour and the owner was aware at the start as Debbie had informed us, and she only now decided she should come out and assist.I truely felt sorry for Debbie as it was not her job nor her responsibilities to deal with this situation yet the owner left her to, that is absolutely appalling. In saying this Debbies attitude was rude and not helpful. There was no ownership of the error and we where made to feel like we where in the wrong. They had wrote the number down wrong in the book, when asked to confirm the number they wrote they where not able to articulate the numbers. If you can not read your own writing how did you call in the first place. Overall I would never return to Tilly’s, I would never recommend it to any of my family friends. If you are after a place to go, go to the bake shop, the place is beautiful the staff are so lovely and the food was even better. The owner should attend this tea house and she might learn a thing or to. She will not stay in business if she keep running it the way she is.
Monica Seward: DISAPPOINTED! My sister made a reservation for my bachelorette party weeks in advance. We arrived and they didn’t even have our reservation. Said it was our fault. The lady with the red hair was very rude. Disgusted in the service we got. There was no help to try an work anything else even though there was 2 groups in the place. There was plenty of room for us but I guess they just don’t like customers. I will NEVER recommend this place ever. They have completely ruined my sisters plans for my bachelorette. DO NOT GO!!! Go to cake bake instead!!!!!
Rita Fort: Although the food was good I was very disappointed in the customer service. Our waitress was sweet but, I made a reservation for 13 people. They know it was a bridle shower and 1) they had us at separate tables and did not even try to combine the tables or keep us somewhat close together.2) one would think you would as a server make sure the bride was served first .3/4 of the foods were served to the party and of course the rest of the food finally came out like 10 minutes later! So the bride was served last. Very unprofessional. To not be able to accommodate us to serve our needs .so disappointed
marquis brown: not a good place to have parties.food,s high and they don,t give you enough
Katie Clontz: We went to Tilly's for the first time today to celebrate an early Mother's Day. The whole experience was amazing. Originally I made a reservation for four people, but they were able to accommodate two extra people when I called to ask a few days in advance. The staff was so friendly and the decor is very modern and chic. The food was very good, especially the vanilla tea and scones with clotted cream and strawberry champagne jelly. Our party also had seared salmon salads and the children's princess teas. The mini egg salad sandwiches were very tasty. They had plastic tea cups and utensils for my 4 year old, which was very appreciated. All the plates, tea pots and cups/saucers were very elegant. I highly recommend Tilly's for any special occasion!
Paul Cullington: Visited without a reservation on the off chance they could squeeze us in. Met by Sharon who was lovely and made sure we got in even though they appeared to be extremely busy pre Christmas. After we sat down in their beautiful space inside Saks 5th Ave, we ordered afternoon tea accompanied by a couple of Mimosas.Service was attentive, friendly and based on the conversation with our waitress about Yorkshire tea, very knowledgeable. The food was excellent, we are English expats and have had tea in various establishments in London and Manchester and this was up there with them all.Finger sandwiches were delicious, especially the egg mayonnaise and cucumber and cheese. Pastries were delicate, fresh and tasty, and to top it off, a lovely homemade scone with real clotted cream, a first for me in the States as you can’t get it here!Who would have thought that such an authentic English experience could be found in such pleasant surroundings in the midwest, but here it is. A real treat, highly recommended, we’ll be back soon…….Thank you Sharon & team.Paul & Rebecca.
Victoria Dodge: Tilly's Tea Room is a feast for the eyes and the palate. Our server, who was the only one working today, carried out her responsibilities with friendliness, and aplomb. The ham and cheese panini was good, although the "crisps" were a bit "scanty". Tilly's is worth the visit this Christmas season.
Taylor Kennedy!!!!!!!: This place was absolutely adorable! I went on a lunch date with my seven year old little girl. She had chocolate hot tea, and I tried a blueberry flavored hot tea, plus the food was, as my little one put it "robust." We split the afternoon tea, and all of the samplings were delicious. My favorite was the egg salad sandwich. My daughter and I both agreed that we would definitely be returning, and that next time our grandmother would have to join us for tea as well.
Korah Taylor: Around 30 a person. Lots of tea choices, not the fanciest tea room but worth going at least once
Elise Reineking: A gorgeous and elegant room with some of the best pastries, sandwiches, and tea I have ever had! There is a great selection in everything on the menu and the customer service was amazing!
Spencer Johnston: Great service and good food. My daughter loved the Princess Tea meal, especially the small deserts.
Sandra Lynch: I am FINALLY writing a review of Tilly's Tea Room after more than 2 years of dining there for lunch. I first read the other reviews to see how other customers ranked my "favorite" restaurant. Disappointed to see that all the reviews weren't stellar; still, most were good, and I'm delighted to see that there are those who value quality as much as I do. My first experience was in 2018 when I went with a dear friend to try something new. I was completely bowled over by the ambience, the interior design, the openness and abundance of light, the delicious fare and the attention to detail. The head server, Deb, epitomized the kind of service I long for when I dine out, and my friend and I returned on special occasions and with out-of-town guests for over a year. Then when COVID hit, we were devastated by the lock-downs and soon, were craving time at Tilly's. We stayed in touch, and as soon as the restrictions were relaxed a bit, we returned to the only place we felt comfortable. Every other restaurant in town was off limits, because we didn't want to chance encounters that would spread the virus. The health protocols they have put in place make us feel ultra safe; from extreme cleanliness, spacing of tables, distancing of customers, required masks on entry and when we linger to talk after lunch, and a overt concern to protect customers and wait staff alike. We have been regulars for almost a year now, and love our visits more than ever. We've built a strong friendship with Deb and the owner, Sharon, through our loyalty and support during this very trying time. In turn, we are treated like old friends and regulars. The service and food are simply.....well, WOW. Everything is freshly prepared and the variety is impressive. When in town, we are there once a week. If you are looking for an experience that is top-notch, and you recognize the importance of "extraordinary", try Tilly's. You'll go back again and again.
Jonathan Smith: I just read a previous recent review of Tilly’s Tea room. The customer’s information that was shared was incorrect. They have been the only restaurant that I have patronized since Covid restrictions. Their tables are way more than six feet apart and masks are worn by staff and expected to be worn by customers if not sitting at the table. I have always felt safe eating here during this pandemic. It is bothersome that someone would give an incorrect review of such a wonderful establishment. The food is always delicious and the service is always on point! I always recommend Tilly’s!
kenner family: Beautiful venue. However, no Covid precautions in place for large events. Seating does not allow social distance or even a little space between individuals. Tea pots, sugar spoons and cream spoons are placed on central serving tray and intended for all guest to use, touch, and share. Individuals teapots, packet sugars and single serving creamers or sanitizer on main serving cart would give the appearance and serve to protect patrons from the transmission of Covid. Currently, wonderful occasions and celebrations can be hosted in the tea room at your own risk.
Allyson McNeil: They had great service and the chicken salad sandwiches were amazing!! Sharon, the owner was so nice and so was Tilly! I definitely recommend going there.
Kas Beauty: Great tea, yummy food and relaxing atmosphere!
