Indianapolis Dental Assistant School-NE: what do users think?
IYABO NASSIROU: This is a really great school in 12 weeks you will learn everything about your new career, with some lovely teachers, tyshawna she is really good we do love her same as sharice. And at the end you will even have a job or a lot of opportunities for it. With the obligation of 40h externship you will be in the field and look also learn how it supposed to be. I had a really great experience, you guy should try it. Wish you the best.
Ashley smith: Instructor Lindsey was the best!
Mommy and Lila: I would recommend the school if you are looking to do it and get it over quick. The first 5 weeks we didn’t learn much but the last 3 was filled with lots of info.
Aurora Boring: I just finished and honestly it was the best decision even to get a foot in the door to start my career! Special Thanks to Instrustors Kaylin, Cheyenne and Lindsey for making class amazing.
Jessica Andres: I have plenty of good things to say about this program! It is a very independent course and you are responsible for learning the material on your own time. I did learn quite a lot about becoming a dental assistant however I feel some important topics were glazed over such as instrument handling. We also had three different instructors in a nine-week course and material was repeated by accident because of a lack of communication.
diamond rice: Great program especially if you want to fast track your career in weeks instead of years all of the instructors are great and they work with you one on one if you need it.
Kia Layer: All their reviews are written before graduation to avoid bad reviews.
Rhiannon Jones: I am so appreciative of my experience here! Thanks to IDAS-NE I am employed right out of school! Instructors Cheyenne, Tracy, and Lyndsey were awesome! However, I wish I knew that I was not going to be prepared for the DANB RHS exam whatsoever. This is something you are expected to do on your own time. I did not realize how much studying I needed to do, bought multiple practice tests and borrowed a coworkers radiology text book and passed on the first try. Give yourself a solid month of studying hard after graduation. Just know the RHS study materials or anything RHS related really, are not really included in this accelerated course.
Savanna Amos: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,Valuei just finished my nine week course with instructor Lindsay and all I have to say is positive reviews about the school because I have learned so much and every instructor was very helpful and I couldn’t have done it without the school! I definitely recommend anyone who is trying to become a dental assistant.
Dayjour Carter: This is a great school for anyone pursuing a future career as a dental assistant!! This is my last weekend, it was definitely a blast and is worth it. I have to give a huge thank you to our campus manger/ Instructor Lindsey, She helped me significantly when I needed her most. All the instructors are wonderful also. Excellent school definitely recommend!! 10/10
Khalilia J: Positive:Communication,ProfessionalismInstructor Cheyenne , Tracy & Lindsey were very helpful and understanding young ladies!! knowing this is a fast paced course they continued to do numerous 1 on 1 time and even texted back anytime of the day/night to answer any my questions!!! Even my classmates were very lovely and helpful If i could redo this course I would!
Talaya Patton: Positive:Communication,ProfessionalismI had so much fun learning here ! Instructor Cheyenne was very professional, patient , and had good people skills . She definitely was a good help and definitely motivated me more. 10/10 highly recommend :)
kim nunez: I really liked the experience, it was fast pace but i was able to keep up and got a job right after class. Instructor Cheyenne was my favorite.
Nydia: I absolutely LOVE our Campus Manager Lindsey! She has truly been a great help to everyone and is very easy to get in contact with and keep in contact with through any questions or needs that you may have. We have had a few hiccups in our class but she made everything feel better and everyone was very comfortable leaving each class knowing we had someone to always count on to help us through ! I truly recommend taking this course if you want a jump start in the Dental Field , you’ll learn a lot and take your knowledge from this class to the field or even exceed your education. But to the campus manager Ms.Lindsey I’ll speak for our class you were and are absolutely amazing we all will miss being students of yours !
Shaneal Hibbler: Positive:Communication❤️ instructor Lindsey and instructor Tracey.
Julia Ferguson: Positive:Professionalism,QualityGreat instructors, specially instructor Lindsey. They truly care to give us as much knowledge as possible. Looking forward to start my DA career
andy deaton: This school had disorganization and communication issues during my time. But, the leader of the program contacted me personally seeking to learn and grow. With new leadership that has been in place I believe this program as the potential.
Faith Lynch: Critical:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,Value
carli knight: Just terrible nothing else to say. Also to save ur money it’s not coda accredited so if you ever wanna go off and do a coronal polishing class or do an efda class you can’t unless you’ve work for a whole year first👎🏽
Janeth Mendoza: You get what you pay for! This course is somewhat cheap in comparison to other dental courses offered by other schools. It is definitely fast paced so be prepared to move along pretty quick and to teach yourself most of the material. This is mostly because of the teacher to student ratio and how fast the program goes. There is no communication between instructors of what was done in the classes prior, and they just keep moving on with the next subject whether you have learned or not. There is no outline of what chapters to read before class to better prepare for the lecture of the day/week. And honestly, they make you buy this book which really you don't need because all of the homework questions come from quizlet. The campus manager, Rana takes about 3 weeks to respond to the student's emails and any questions about grades and or homework gets directed to "student success" aka Rana or the course bot chat. One of my class mates was almost not allowed to enter class due to not having the correct paperwork on file on class 10/12. Almost after the course was done for and the money payed for.Instructor Jenae was the best instructor and really explained everything thoroughly. She made class fun and enjoyable! In the other hand instructor Lindsey, would take off points for asking questions about subjects we had not learned yet and deemed it as we needed to pay more attention when in reality they needed better communication skills as to what they taught in each class prior (instructors alternate teaching class each week). The other instructors were decent. They constantly ask students to only give 5 star reviews so that people keep enrolling into their program. They usually ask during class 1 or 2 before it goes down hill and students start to complain.Overall the program gives you a quick rundown of what being a dental assistant is about, which gets the job done I guess. It is a semi cheap and fast paced course, but you get what you pay for.

Tim Sheable: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,Value
David Fidler: From my experience, I would proceed with caution if you have a GED (even if you’re a college graduate following obtaining the GED) during the application process. They do require one year of high school Algebra and the GED is not sufficient for this requirement. You will need both your high school and GED transcripts, both of which have their own separate fee. Additionally, college transcripts may have their own fees as well (mine did). It’s worth noting that I have took a pre-Calculus class and have the credit from said class during my time in college.Following paying the application fee and fees for transcripts. I noticed that communication was pretty non-existent. My application expired in April and I had no clue that it did. I thought I met all of the requirements. I wasn’t aware that I didn’t until I reached out by email this past week to get an update.I’m sure this is a great opportunity to get into the field. A field I was highly interested in getting into. But from my experience with the application process. I’m out the money for the fees and incredibly disappointed.
Mike Summitt: Vending machines prices are alittle high, but a great place to take a day off work.
wes burkhart: Amazing experience!
Premetheas: Great place to learn
Dan R: Great facility and staff for learning the electrical trade
Michael Stigger: Great opportunity for an awesome career
Wesley N Gilmore: Don't listen to the naysayers. This is a career. The teachers here give you back everything you give them ten fold. If you want it enough, you'll become great.
Correll d Parson Terri_EL: I was not notified for my testing, after I Paid for application to get into program...I found out that I would have to wait an additional 6 months to start complete process all over again...I asked if I was emailed, called...or text to be notified of my test date.. I never got a straight answere, and then was rushed off the phone call....So basically, I wasted my time and money....I left a Voice message with the director of the program, over a month ago to explain these circumstances...I have not heard back yet....

Scarlet Storm: My kid went here for his junior and senior year in high school did the HVAC program. This school is a great idea for people, would highly recommend it. When he was 2 weeks out of high school, he already got a job doing HVAC. It gives you hands on experience and it teaches you why things work the way they do. He is doing some but further education but, this program will set you up without it.I couldn't thank C9 enough for all they done.
erica matute: Positive:Professionalism
Robbietime everytime: Good education for my future
Peter Rivera: Critical:Professionalism,Value
lauren Fishero: Im currently an almost 30 year old student at centeral nine . I have nothing but nice things to say about this place and their staff . I went into this unsure i could ever do this , between my kids and work and now school . My teach not only devotes time to me in the classroom but outside of it as well . Anytime day or night i don’t understand something , my teacher will go into great length or detail to my issues (if possible) . I could also simple ask if we could work on this specific subject next class time and we do . I highly suggest the FREE study sessions that are provided lots of good note taking and pages to work on to keep you busy in and outside of the study session . I have gained confidence just from class alone and the encouragement from my teacher Mrs. Sally (my cheese ball) . I have worked with several teachers and i would suggest all of them . If you are wondering if this is good school , will they work with you , is there day or night classes , will you get the help you need ? All the answers to that are YES ! I WILL graduate this year with my HSE with my teacher by my side . To be an adult seeking my High school education it isn’t an easy road , but you don’t get anywhere always taking the easy road.
Blake Patterson: Much better places to take a EMT class! I left an went to a hospital to take mine. Much better experience at the hospital!
Mawng Lian: Good
Caleb Drake: Always a fantastic experience provided by the culinary students at To The Nines. Aside from indulging on a high-quality 4-course meal for around $10, all purchases go back to the program which teaches the intricacies of the Culinary Arts and delves students into a real restaurant environment daily.
Zach Allison: i go here I'm in class right now i just thought it would be nice to leave a review but i like it here this place is very nice
Lea Kenner: The school is always very clean, staff is nice and friendly and the principle Mr. Courtney is very understanding and close to the student.

Slavay Georgiev: Very through on training and educating students

Shyla Keen: I want to start off by saying i’m thankful I took this class, but it wasn’t what I thought it would be. The coursework was fairly easy, the labs were okay but I learned so much more working in the office than I did at this school. This school is A LOT of money.. you don’t get a graduation, your certificate gets emailed to you, and you only get one pair of scrubs.
M: Lindsey was a great instructor she made class very easy to understand and the course was easy to u sets tabs because of her! Thank you Lindsey for all your help!
jenae watson: Great place to work
Justice Hall: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueLove instructor Jenae she helped so much and made learning fun.
Kelcie Mcintosh: Positive:ValueGreat experience! Instructor Jenae and instructor Lesley were great and made class super fun! I've gained a lot of knowledge and experience! I'm glad I decided to come back to school and develop my skills for the dental field!

Kevin: My experience was less than ideal. It started off fine then a couple months in I had an issue getting a code or 'golden ticket' for one of the test to work. After talking to my mentor and being told that I must be doing something wrong and then proving to him it wasn't me. They passed it on to someone else who never reached out to help. Every time I would bring it up one of the people who are in contact with you they all would be perplexed, rightfully so, and say such and such would be in contact. No one ever helped and at that point I was checked out. They did help me get a job but after 90 days on that job they're pretty much done with you. My career services person left and the new person never reached out again after. Just to add some context I was an online student and all tests were done online because this was during the height of Covid.Edit: the person who responded to this clearly didn't read what I said.
Lexio: This school is a TOTAL SCAM AND I really feel sorry for myself and whoever's attending this school. On my very first day of school, there was zero Introduction to what we're supposed to be learning. The instructor just sat down on a chair and just started showing poor organized PowerPoint slides, he didn't even introduced himself as an instructor, came to find out as we were physically in class he was also on zoom with 60+ students. Right??! And this is not the worst part. the worst part was, even though we were in campus physically, students also have to be on zoom for the whole entire class watching everything that the instructor is doing right in front of them, there was about 10-15 questions left unanswered. I mean of course he would not get to every questions because there's way too many students online and in class. I mean in that case I think that everybody should've picked online classes. It was absolutely outrageous for me . Oh and guess what? After paying these enormous amount of money to get the certifications you're gonna be told to rely on GOOGLE and YOUTUBE for most of the time because and I quote "not everybody knows all the answers!" LOL These people do not know of what they're teaching. I would suggest that you look another place else. Do not go to this school just to waste your HARD EARNED MONEY. Make sure you do your research wisely, they will blow you away with their fake promises and their lies just to suck you dry they'll tell you everything you want to hear show you fake information you want to see. THEY SUCK AND TERRIBLE ( Especially for their Administrative advisors
Joel Sieferman: Great school with plenty of resources, for students to quickly earn their certifications on time.
flutegirl20111: MyComputerCareer Indy provides an awesome experience! From the front desk folks to the advisors and career services, they are excellent. Great program and such friendly people!
Brennan Barnes: I haven't even attended MCC and I am seriously doubtful I could even attend. I signed up to speak to a advisor and came down with Covid so i was unable to meet the zoom call with said advisor. Since that missed zoom call I have had more than one person from the campus call me between four to five times a day.....a day. It felt like a creditor was calling me, like my cars extended warranty needed to be spoken of. I mean what the heck is the reason to bombard someone's phone like that? If you're tasked with calling someone and they don't answer once don't call four more times that day. It's off putting and very stressful. Get yourselves together.
Chris Douglas: I went here when it was on the north side of Indy off of Purdue drive graduated twice from there. Once as an ITSA and then as an ITSS as an registered ethical hacker. I recommend anyone who love to work on or with computers or that wants to start on a new path to check them out they are amazing and if you put in the effort they will also and help you for life. I just want to say a huge thank you to MyComputerCareer for helping me get where I am today and helping me get what I needed to start my Computer repair and IT business.
Jack Stone: The program is certification based and get's to the point. I'm currently just passed midpoint and love the time I've spent with MyCC. You will be tested and rewarded. I would recommend this course to anyone. The staff makes you feel comfortable diving into the unknown and the admissions process is spot on. The guys and girls will get you into the program fast and seamlessly. If you are just starting out in I.T. or if you have a experience this is a great program for learning the basics of the field.
Julian Franklin: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueEveryone is amazing and truly cares about you succeeding and become a better version of yourself
Utah Kinsey: Positive:Communication,ProfessionalismMyCC went above and beyond in spite of the pandemic to help me obtain certs and knowledge. Their staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. Their career services department is something I wish was available to all schools.
Allen Hamilton: Critical:Value
The Orenders: MyCC of Indianapolis Campus has some great people who really care about your success. The Information Technology Security and Administration (ITSA) curriculum covers all of your basic needs and a few more. There is a lot of certifications (9) to cover in a short amount of time and it is fast and furious. One course right after the other. Whether your able to come to campus or online, day time or night time MyCC does have you covered. You are able to take a certification exam up to twice during the course work within 2 weeks of completing a course. The hard part is you are also working on the next course! So study during the weeks you are in classThe only short falls about MyCC is the cost. I truly wish they had an al la carte option because some courses are outdated due to CompTia NOT updating the tests within the 3 years. If you are a veteran and have the Post 9/11 then you are eligible for housing (amount depends on whether you are on/off campus). Also, as a veteran that choose to do on campus, you also had to study on campus during MyCC hours due to VA requirements. The big advantage to this is that you could ask either the flex instructor or a teacher that is on campus (if they are NOT giving a class). The big disadvantage is that I also worked during the day, so I was limited by my work hours and closing of MyCC campus at night which was around 2220 (10:20PM) (M-TH) and 1600 (4PM) Friday (times may change so ask).Overall, the experience wasn't bad and you could leave MyCC with between 0 to 9 certifications (that number is determined by you). Look at the time it will take you to complete the courses, if you work, if you have a family, if you have other obligations, then your time for study will be reduced. On the other hand, ensure you understand the obligations you currently have and schedule time for it DAILY. Whether you are studying through videos, reviewing questions, going to class it is completely doable. Let the people around you know what your intentions are and you will see that they will root for you. It is a lot of hours to cover, but will be well worth in the end.
Michael Jones: Having been both a student and an employee I can say that MyCC exceeded all of my expectations. As a student I found the course material was both easy to follow and understand. My Instructors all did amazing jobs at delivering the content of the courses and were both extremely helpful and caring about each and every student. As an employee upper management leaves something to be desired but on a Campus level I couldnt have asked for a better group of coworkers. Highly professional and loving towards each other as well as students and prospective students. 10/10 would attend more classes and seek future employment with them again
Brent Ralston: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueI enjoyed the positive environment that came from the campus, instructors and staff. Even when we went online the positive vibe was still alive just thru my TV. My experience will definitely change my life!
james isom: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueWonderful school great to work with and they are awesome
tyler hutcheson: Attending MyCC has been an overall good experience. The Instructors have all been very knowledgeable and able to get the information across clearly. The transition from the campus to online classes were seamless, the career services department helps with resume building, interview prep. and appear to really try to place you in a job that you are suited for. I would recommend MyCC to anyone who is looking to get a job started in the IT field or looking to advance your current position IT
